Okay! I have a really awesome suggestion!
One word. Plants.
I better clarify.
We have a bestiary, but why don't we have a vegetiary? (That is a word because I say so.)
I mean, the plants can be as important to a scene as the predator attacking the wolves, the prey being hunted, or the conversation going on. If not more so.
Two long-lost friends meeting again in the cold, dark shade of leaf-bare, skeletal pine trees, with little undergrowth and no flowers, is a scene that'll have a menacing, dark kind of atmosphere, as they're both kind of unsure if they're still friends.
That's because the trees and stuff make the place have an unhappy atmosphere, and makes them uneasy.
The opposite occurs when the meeting occurs under magnificent oaks with fallen magnolia blossoms coating the ground and flowers all around.
Plants can be really important. Even more so you're plotting poisonings, or wolves healing each other with healing herbs, or fights between packs over rare plants with healing qualities.
So my suggestion is that we create a list of fantasy plants.
We should keep regular plants- I challenge you to RP for even as long as an hour without accidentally placing some scene, even just in your imagination, on grass. Grass is everywhere. Our minds are so used to it I don't think we could comprehend going without it.
Oaks, willows, pines, etc- there's nothing more creative than Nature, we should keep all those.
But it'd be nice to have some awesome fantasy plants too.
We could have a competition for the first ten or so, so that the plants-list doesn't look like a completely empty page hanging around the site, we have 10-11 starting plants, that anybody can put into their posts. (It's not like we can have a plant account that RPs plants).
Then we could add something in the shop. Like creating a new species, there could be a small charge to create new plants. Then people could see their awesome carnivorous, healing, poisonous, thorny and maybe even sentient plants in action.
So what do the staff think?
