Swifty stepped carefuly through made heer way through the boggy swamp, obviously curious about this place. She hadn't been here before, and was overly curious as to what was here. "First," Thought the black-furred Senyo, "first, I should take caution as to where I step, what I see, mand who I meet!" She nodded to herself, these thoughts racing through her mind. Usually, Swifty never took caution anywhere she went, but something told her she needed to this time. The swamp seemed like a rather dangerous area, since she has already narrowly avoided stepping into quicksand. How did she know it was quicksand, you ask? She had seen a frog jump onto it, and it sank rather quickly due to it struggling and moving around so much. Swifty nearly killed herself for being so unaware and stupid for not noticing the mud that looked entirely different from the other mud, or at least in her eyes!
She finally sat down, her one brown paw lifted into the air quickly when it was set down on a smooth rock, which surprised her somewhat since she hadn't stepped onto rock for a while now, since she's been in this swamp for a few hours, possibly a day now. She had lost track of time when she had had the close encounter with the quicksand, for she had been keeping track of time, but the surprise had made lose it. Shaking her head, Swifty let her icy blue eyes sweep the ground, searching for any danger. She wasn't near water, so Alligators shouldn't be by, but you never knew. She couldn't smell or see a dragon, so she hoped it was safe to rest for a moment or two.

Though a chill was steadily creeping in and there were very few flowers left on the trees which grew in this small grove, the area still held a sort of charm. Perhaps that's why she had come here.
As her lithe paws carried her over a slightly muddy area, her legs submerged in the thick liquid. A sigh escaped her maw as the substance hugged the rotting gashes on her legs. That was why she came here. The disgustingly stagnant water soothed her aching form.
Her mind was wandering, Katari realized just how much she enjoyed the feeling. And with that, the female Mortui dropped downward, allowing her whole form to be slowly caressed by the swamp. She was enjoying it so much in fact, that her sharp nose didn't even pick up the other female that was drawing ever closer.
Still paying no heed, Katari let out a relaxed squeal, and rolled onto her back. There she began to growl happily -albeit rather loudly- twisting her body left and right in an almost playful gesture.

OOC: Sorry for the late reply!
Swifty lifted her muzzle to the air, sniffing the air slowly. Suddenly, a sharp scent entered her nostrils and made her more alert. Pinning her ears to the back of her head, she barely prevented letting a snarl erupt from her throat, although she usually didn't act like this, it was just that she was especially careful around area's she didn't know. Letting her tail flick from side to side, curiosity pushed caution out of the way and taking over. Stepping closer and closer, Swifty's icy blue eyes searched the surrounding area for a creature that she knew was a wolf. Obviously, this wolf was loner because it didn't have a pack scent on it, and it was a wolf, but she couldn't confirm the species. Her poor hearing caused her nose to have a bigger advantage. Although she wasn't deaf, hearing definetly wasn't a strong point with her. "Hello...?" She called out smoothly, hoping for a responce from a friendly wolf.

It flung all over the place, her black pelt now fully covered with the stagnant muck. She poised stiff however, on her back with four legs splayed in the air. Audits flickered at the sound of a voice. Not bothered by the stranger, Katari just lay there, her head swiveling about to try and get a glimpse.
Her nose wavered, the scent of another female greeting her. She growled lowly, she didn't really like other females. They were always so prissy, so bitchy. Mostly because they were jealous, or rather, thats what Katari thought. They all wanted her luscious legs and seductive smile. The Mortui hated competition when it came to her prizes, aka: males. Although she had to admit she rarely met any. Either she would lash out and attack them, or they would just be too intimidated just by her alone. Katari didn't know if it was either one, let alone any at all.
With another growl, Katari heaved herself over to lay on her stomach. Magenta eyes still searched for the hidden female. She had no idea what would come out of this, her being female the most likely result would be running her off. She still lay there, her posture not threatening at all, ears tall and curious.
"Come out stranger, so that I may see you."
Her voice was low, still thick with seduction as always. It didn't matter if the soul hearing was male or female. | |

Swifty heard a deep voice come from somewhere behind some bushes, and she was arguing with herself if she should go over there or stay here until she knew the wolf wouldn't attack. Letting a sigh escape her maw, her paws and legs took her forward. Obviously, she had decided. Emerging from the thick bushes, and nearly tripping on a root, she shook her pelt and studied the female wolf standing in front of her now. Her pelt was covered in mud, due to this wolf rolling around in it, or so she thought. Dipping her head in greeting, the Sennyo finally spoke, breaking a long silence. "Hello. I am Swifty." She told the stranger female, not wanting to say that she was in a pack yet, because this wolf obviously wasn't, and if they were to become friends, she didn't need to lose her. Lucky for Swifty, the water had covered up her scent.
"What is you name, stranger." Her voice was still smooth, and a bit loud for she was confident, her ears facing forward and standing straight. She was also relaxed, as her tail dragged on the ground. She didn't care the least bit about getting dirty, in fact, she enjoyed it! Swifty wasn't prissy, or bitchy for that matter, but she was a tomboy, if thats what you would call it. She acted more like a male than a female, and she was very proud of it! Shaking her head to prevent creeping into one of her endless thoughts, she let her icy eyes study this female even more, and she sat down, deciding that this female wasn't any danger. Yet.

Only then did she drag herself up out of the mud to sit on her delicate hindquarters. She surveyed the female with keen eyes, her face on a somewhat sided angle, one brow raised.
Of course she was weary, perhaps too weary. Her ears pulled back as the Sennyo spoke, her voice matching that of her dainty form. Not overly hostile, but not welcoming was always how she greeted females. Her tail thumped on the ground loudly, but it wasn't wagging. Katari was not impressed as the female practically barked a few words at her. Little did Katari know that maybe she spoke so loud because of her hearing problem.
"Must you speak so loud?"
She questioned, ignoring, or perhaps purposely leaving out her name. Her tight face slightly loosening its dark stare. She was sure she had made her point to the much younger female.

"Must you speak so loud?" Was what the stranger spoke to her. She ignored her question, and this made Swifty a bit irritated, but all she did was flick her ear. "Please excuse that, I have hearing problems." She tried to speak quieter this time. It wasn't only her hearing issues, but just that she is so used to speaking loud because, well, she's just loud. Letting her gaze drift to the sky, she shook her pelt and also sat down. "I'll ask this again, what is your name?" She tried again. She'd keep asking if she must, because she wanted an answer and she was very persistant. While awaiting the fae's answer, the black-furred Sennyo looked all around her surroundings. Many different kinds of tree's, plants, and other foliage, it almost made Swifty dizzy. Almost. Letting her tail curl around her paws, she let her claws sink into the mud, then she'd bring them out and do it all over again. This made a suctiony sound, and this almost made Swifty giggle aloud, but that'd probably just seem wierd. Not that she minded wierd. Heck, she was wierd! Different, odd, strange, there are many words for her, but the most common is wierd. She might even call it temporary insanity, if there is such a thing, but she wouldn't go that far!

It would seem this meeting wouldn't go smoothly at all. So the bitch was deaf, was that her fault? No. Katari was far from deaf, so when the young femora practically demanded her name the second time, Katari scoffed, one front paw tapping the dirt below in irritation.
Her magenta optics crossed the strangers form lazily, before locking onto her pretty blue ones. Her eyes were half lidded, but in a cold, disturbed manner rather than some sort of aroused state. And even though her look alone was deadly, the cheeky smirk that played on her maw told otherwise.
"Did your mother not teach you any good, little one? Why when I was your age, I knew how to use my filthy mouth, and knew not to demand things from strangers."
With that said, the slick female rose to her paws to advance upon the young one. Perhaps if she didn't get the hint, Katari might just have to teach her a lesson. A lesson she was more than willing to give.

Flicking her tail, Swifty smirked. Obviously, she was getting on this wolf's nerves, which was ever so amusing to her. All of a sudden, the wolf said something that irritated Swifty. "When you were my age? Girl, I'm 52 years old. Thats young for a Sennyo, yes, but older than you'll ever be." She spoke smoothly, not faulting with her words. Who did this femme think she was? Well, if she were to make a bad move, she'd surely regret it.
"Oh, and stranger. Ignoring my question is starting to get on my nerves, as you can see, but it looks like I won't get your name out of ya'. I'll give you a pet name once I think of one." She grunted a bit and sat, her butterfly wings shimmering. Why did she always get into a arguement or fight when she met another wolf? Was it her, or was it the opposite? Shaking her head, Swifty waited for Katari to reply, wondering what she'd say and try to intimidate the Sennyo with next.
It was almost funny how the stranger thought she could just waltz in and frighten her. Well, it wouldn't happen. Sure, she might flee but that never mean she's scared. Because she isn't. Not now, not before, not after. It just won't happen, not with this stranger. She was more amusing than frightening anyways.

Thats what all the females where now days. What happened to the ladies? The females that acted like females and not egotistical males. If Katari hadn't known better, she would have thought this Sennyo to be male, with a very feminine voice. The Mortui cringed at the thought, how unattractive. She doubted this bitch had ever been laid.
"Can't you count, child? 350 years is much older than 52. Seems your mother failed miserably at bringing you up at all."
She sneered, oh this was just too easy. If the little one was looking for a fight with words, Katari had more than enough to say. She copied the Sennyo's motion, plonking her behind on the ground in front of her. A white tongue licked at yellowing jaws lazily, her magenta jewels dancing with mockery at the other female.
"Call me what you like, just don't expect any funny business. I like males, not females acting like males."

What an idiot. Swifty hadn't know she was 350! She probably seems stupid right now. With a roll of her eyes, she let out an exasperated breath. "Well, exscuse me. And to let you know, I like males to, and I ain't no male nor do I wish to be one." She retorted. She had never been good at this, yet she was engaging in a verbal war. Great. What embarrassment awaits her today?
Icy blue eyes showed no emotion, although she could feel the annoyance and anger bubbling up inside her, at the pit of her stomach. Digging her claws into the muddy ground, she shrugged it off, not wanting to blow up on a wolf who wouldn't react. Looking around her, she didn't know what to say now. She always lost her words at the worst of times! Cursing silently in her mind, she wished to be somewhere else right now. When meeting a new face, this is not what she had in mind.
