anvindr! Anvindr sighed, rolling back his shoulder's and fluffing out his wings. He was tired, after flying here for the majority of the time, who wouldn't be? Anvin yawned, he was also hungry but he wasn't about to hunt on a pack's land and get in trouble for it, especially if he wanted to join the said pack. Anvin glanced around, looking at the place that he hoped would be his home soon. The Tundra was cold, windy, a place that most wouldn't want to live. But the pro to it was that there wasn't a tree in sight, and for a keiyou that loved to fly, that was heaven.
Anvin let his wings be ruffled by the wind once more, before pulling them in and checking the rest of his looks and seeing them satisfactory he set his head up and his tail low. He would be ready to faced the alpha's or alpha in the pack with a decent look and posture that didn't seem too overpowering. The perfect image of a respectable pack member. Clearing his throught, he called out to the Tundra lands.
"I am here to find a rank, a pack to accept me, and a place to sleep."
Admittedly, it wasn't the best selling line, but, he had tried.

It was an unusually clear day in the tundra, for once Cypress was able to relax a little. She was sprawled out in the sun on an exposed rock, his poorly docked tail twitched occasionally, but other then the steady heaving of her chest, she was motionless. The small yagi was enjoying a good sun soak, a small smile on her face. She had managed this far, the pack was beginning to thrive. She was able to relax, especially with new life growing in her belly.
Her pleasant nap was soon disturbed though as an unfamiliar howl called over the landscape. She started up, flipping from her side to her belly, ears twitching. Intense green eyes glimmered in the sunlight as she got to her feet, her sweeping horns cast an elongated shadow. She shook the snow and debris from her pelt, and turned toward the fading howl. It was not to far off. With a sigh she began trotting toward the direction of the newcomer.
Once she was within sight, she looked over the male keiyou from a distance, she was lucky enough to be coming up behind him. Another keiyou....it was interesting that so many winged wolves had venture to her land. If this male were to be a soldier, she'd have an aerial assault unit before the end of spring. She cleared her throat with a slight warning growl, "Seems like you have a list..."

anvindr! After only a few minutes of waiting, he was greeted by the voice of the wolf that must be one of the alphas. There was a certain elegant tone to her, and you could tell by natural posture of leadership, yes, this female was definitely a leader. He cleared his throat, and greeted Miss.Queenie with a bow of his head. "List's are always good." He said, a smile appearing on his face. He was already starting to like Queenie here.
Bringing his head up he spoke once again. "If you haven't heard, I would like to join your pack...miss." He trailed off, cursing himself for not doing his research and finding out the names of the two alphas beforehand. Oh well, he would have to learn the old fashioned way. With a smile still on his face, he awaited the next words from the green-pelted missus.

Cupressus looked the keiyou up and down assessing his strengths, he was the same height as her, but scrawnier. He seemed charming enough, but words would not get you far in the tundra. She gave a slight yawn, still waking up from her nap.
"Yes, I heard. What can you offer my pack? It's not easy living up here." She gestured to the tundra. Her brown and green pelt ruffled as a strong breeze passed over them. "I'm Cupressus. The Empress of this place." She sat down waiting for him to tell her what he could do for the pack. As well as maybe his name. She was not one to give nicknames.
((urg...sorry so short))

anvindr! "I do realize the fact that it shall be quite difficult to live in such an environment." He once again looked at the expanse of white snow, devoid of any plant life. It was pretty, but it would be harsh living.
"I'm Anvindr, no nicknames please, not a fan." He turned his attention back to Cupressus. "I can offer a few things to this pack, I could be a hunter, warrior, eh, anything really." He shrugged. "The wing's really are an advantage, and when it comes to fighting I'm decent at it, though not a big fan of doing so. Border Patrols I could do..." He sighed, ruffling his feathers and letting his eyes wander. "Jack of all spades I guess."

She listened quietly as he went on to advertise himself. It seemed to be a running theme that kieyou bragged about themselves. Maybe it was written in their code to be cocky and confident. She supposed it was a decent trait, as long as it didn't get in the way of getting things done.
"Well, we have a few keiyou soldiers already, but if you are not comfortable fighting that's fine too. I need more hunters as it is. I suppose hunters can also check the borders, we have quite a bit of territory." She looked him up and down again, green eyes studying his physique. "Flexibility is nice"
She was still wary, as she was with most new recruits. Her history of trust issues ran deep in her. It was hard to allow herself to let so many strangers near her family. Especially with little ones on the way.

anvindr! Anvindr waited till she was done talking before thinking over her suggestions. Being a Hunter would be nice, he would beable to enjoy the full advantages of the blank land that way, and patrols where always semi-fun. He smiled, yes, life as a Hunter didn't seem bad at all.
Anvin nodded, "Being a Hunter sound's nice, if you wouldn't mind me takeing the position." He glanced at Cupressus, wondering if she would mind if she shortened her name to something more...pronounceable. He sighed, not like it really mattered. Cyress, Cupress, Curessus, the name meant something to do with a tree anyway.

She nodded in response, "We are in need of hunters. We have a few as it is. " She turned, as if to lead him back to the pack lands. She had been getting so many new members lately she hardly had time to be leery. She figured that herself or Arkham could deal with him if need be.
Then, as if hearing his thoughts she glanced over her shoulder, "You can call me Cypress if you like. Might be easier than my full name." She turned and continued walking toward the dens. She fully expected him to follow."When you make a kill, you can howl for the pack to help you carry it, or bring it to the dens. You might also want to talk with the other hunters we have if you plan on taking on bigger game."

anvindr! Anvindr opened his mouth to comment, but than quickly shut it as he saw his alphaess about to talk. He nodded along with her words, better to seem interested than not, he had figured he would need to signal when he made a kill. He thought for a moment about planning a large kill with fellow hunters. It was a good thought, better than going at a large animal alone. He nodded again.
Following Cypress, assumingly to the dens. He was becoming quite glad that he had chosen this particular pack to live. He looked to the sky, yes, he was quite glad to have a land to call home.
