[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,465,true] | [bg=ffff00] Faye had never felt quite so relaxed in her life: With the warm air setting her at ease, and the stars shining brightly in the sky, she easily smiled to all the wolves around her. Magispar's answer had impressed her, and she was looking forward to being part of a pack with all these wolves. When Faye noticed the pups entrance, she smiled even more, her yellow eyes lighting up: She had even heard one of the pups, Hoshi, talk about stories briefly, and she hoped their mother would be okay with her teaching them some, once she got to know Faye better.
" My name is Faye, and I am a Sage for this pack. I am glad I could meet you all, and I look forward to becoming a part of this pack with you all. And might I add that it's an even greater pleasure to meet your pups: They're wonderful." she addressed Cyra, Phoenix and her pups. To show she was friendly, she winked at the pups, grinning from ear to ear: Pups and stories were this mature wolf's soft spots. I'm glad I decided to settle down, Faye thought to herself, and I look forward to playing my part in this pack.

(OOC: Keinvarii, how do you want to handle your appointment as Advisor? Shall we RP out everybody thinking about who it should be and deciding together- in which case here would be the best place- or assume everybody has talked and decided together beforehand and knows already?) [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,500,true] | [atrb=background,http://i.imm.io/56Mq.jpeg]"I'm Magispar," the dark wolf replied to Cyra. "It's brilliant to have you with us... the pack is growing really quickly." She gazed around, having done so more than thrice already during the meeting but still not really being tired of it. She was so incredibly proud that the pack had managed to come together under the ideals she believed in so strongly. "I agree with Keinvarii," nodded Magispar. "It's important we find some allies... but we also need to be careful how we pick them. Like, I have some friends in the Children. But I wouldn't go to them for an alliance, because they don't have gender equality, and to me that's the worst of all unfairnesses. Females in the pack-" she almost added like most of us here, but thought better of it- "can't gain high ranks or have as much influence as males. It's unfair, so I would say we shouldn't ally with them. That's only my opinion, anyway," she finished, "and I'd like to know what the rest of you think." She considered. "So, Children would be out, plus Phoenix and I... may have antagonised the Clan, so I reckon they're out too. The Cadre, too, isn't exactly very equal. All the lower ranks have to obey the lower ones, and the only way to get a higher rank is to fight for it. If you were clever but not a good fighter you'd never win a challenge and always just have to obey others. I..." she paused, "dislike the Cadre. Of course, as always, this is just my opinion." She stopped and thought for a moment, then continued, "The Republic would be a good ally for us. They don't normally involve themselves too much with others, but they're democratic, and even if you can't be a leader, you have a say in who is the leader. I reckon that's slightly fairer than a lot of systems, so we could be allies with them. Then there's the Knights- they'd be an okay ally, they value acceptance... so anyway, what do you guys think?" she asked. She sat down, looking around and considering. If they did want allies, they'd have to send an embassy over to ask if the two packs could be friends. She was wondering who would make a good ally. Somebody who could protect themselves if it all went horribly wrong, somebody who was absolutely loyal to the Alliance and would try and get the best deal for them, and somebody capable of talking sensibly about a friendship between two packs. Obviously, she herself would do the job fine, because if she did say so herself she really was rather good at such things. But ideally, two packs to possibly befriend, two messengers- and it would do Keinvarii good to socialise a little more, she was coming out of her shell rather brilliantly. And Faye, of course, the Sage with lightning powers. Perfect. If the other wolves agreed about the packs they should ally with, she'd suggest sending the two as messengers immediately.

OOC: First ever Calyx post, here we go! (Phoenix's pup was renamed for those of you who don't know.)
Calyx followed his mother into the small clearing, slightly amazed at the sight of all the other wolves there. Since they smelled like his mother, he didn't think they'd hurt them. His sister bounced around and complained to Phoenix about getting under their paws, while Calyx followed silently. He avoided stepping in the hot patches she left as she walked. She found a spot to lay and he laid obediently with her, watching Hoshi bounce around some more.
Calyx placed his head on his paws and stared at the other wolves, most of which had different colorings. It was hard to tell who they were, as he didn't catch any of it, but he kind of remembered Magi. She was there, in the cove. He gazed at each wolf while Magi talked away, suggesting strange things that he never heard of. He turned his head and looked at his mother. "Momma, who are all these wolves? And what are allies?" His reddish-gold gaze was innocent and questioning, wanting to know the answer soon.
OOC: Sorry if it was bad, I didn't have much time to write it. Evelyn will post next.

Evelyn gave a light snort. Allies? She wasn't good at that sort of thing, as making friends was not her specialty. It had proven to be that way when she met Stone, for the lupus nearly got herself killed when all the lumen meant to do was play a harmless joke. By the time it was over, she knew she shouldn't have antagonized the poor girl, but she didn't realize she would get that kind of reaction from her. She made a mistake, but she was glad Stone was all right.
It was obvious Magispar was waiting for a response from them, so Evelyn bounded in first. "I, for one, am not good at making friends. I never have been." She paused for a moment. "However, for the sake of trying to work in this pack, I will attempt to help the Alliance make allies." Honestly, she really hated the idea of allies, but this was her pack now, too, and she knew she'd have to try.
Evelyn shifted her weight uncomfortably, glancing back at the pups to calm herself down. The sister was a little rowdy and she thought it was cute, but the brother was quieter and stuck closer to his mother's side. That was cute too. Evelyn found their pelts to be of a beautiful color, then decided to approach the mother and the pups, but stayed a respectable distance away. "You have beautiful pups, Phoenix. Such vibrant coat and eye colors..." She chuckled. "Forgive me, I tend to appreciate color more than others, I always comment on it." She shook her head and watched the pups, content for the moment.

ooc: It's probably best just to assume we're all good, though I can only speak for myself, but it seems schedules are busy of late so another post may be too much at the moment. What do you guys think? Stone listened attentively to Magi's suggestions, her focus unwavering. The Republic and the Knights sounded like good choices, but Stone was also interested in the Quesse as they were reputed fro being rather peaceful and equal in some of their ways. Plus they had good healers, and the pack may have need of such talents in the future. So she commented in return, "I certainly agree to the proposed packs, though I might add the Quesse clan as they are reputed as being peaceful and we may one day have need of their reputed healing abilities."
She watched Phoe's pups different styles of interaction, noting the behavior for future reference. Turning her eyes back to the group she added, "I believe that at least two wolves should be designated for the task, their acceptance of course necessary as there is no must in this situation. It would just be a safer way of traveling as one wolf alone is left in a rather vulnerable position." She glanced over at Evelyn thinking that the last statement perhaps did not apply to her as the lumen seemed rather efficient at looking after herself to be truly honest.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,465,true] | [bg=ffff00] Faye nodded, listening attentively to Stone and Magispar talk about allies, in complete agreement: She had a friend with the Children, a younger female called Kasmira, and she had never mentioned anything about inequality between genders. However, Kas seemed to be a bright and cheerful sort, and might not notice such discrimination.
She noticed another one of Phoenix's pups join them and smiled at him, noticing he was quieter than his sister. Both were very cute, but she had a particular fondness for the quiet and shy ones. Her mind focused on the alliance suggestions, and she mentally nodded: They would all be good choices. She could mention the Children again, but decided against it: They could always focus on making a more diplomatic approach later on. For now, the three packs they suggested seemed fine to her.
Truthfully, the wise wolf had not made any enemies, yet not a great deal of friends either: She simply remained to herself, and only engaged in conversation or battle if it suited her needs, or her new pack's now. She focused her yellow eyes on Magispar and Stone, nodding her agreement: "I think those are excellent allies. However, if we do forge a bond between our packs we must consider how much we are willing to help them, also. I sincerely doubt there will be any large battles, but it may be wise to consider if we'd all be willing to depend on and fight as one with our allies." Faye suggested calmly, having thought it through for a moment.
Realizing she might sound bossy, she quickly added: " Of course, we could always make a vote for who we want as allies. I, for one, agree with Stone and Magispar." the Sage said. Her stature was peaceful and composed, as she looked around calmly. " If you are looking for volunteers to act as ambassadors, I would be open to coming, if that's alright." she also added, since diplomacy and tact were her main attributes. She then quieted and waited for the others, her turn for speaking over.

Each wolfs attention was either focused on the discussion of which pack was best to have for allies, or admiring the pups, each one putting in their own input.
Charis stood at a distance, within earshot but not directly in the group. Vibrant yellow butterfly wings were folded in an awkward position on her back. Her smooth black coat made way for a white underbelly, and yellow paws. Eyes darting around the clearing, she observed. The discussion seemed to be going in a good direction, and nodded slightly thinking it was probably not best risking getting into it with some of the more different packs. A butterfly fluttered past, making Charis smile. It had been the same one Hoshi had seen earlier. Ignoring it as it landed on her, she let her mind wander to the pups. Neither was overly big, and she wondered slightly what age they were. She herself was not fully grown, and she felt she had to remind herself that she didn't have as much input as a completely grown wolf might.
Carefully inspecting each wolf; which one might be her mentor? Charis thought to herself. A rather proud wolf caught her attention, it’s paws and ears were tipped in black, while for the most part white with red eyes. Remembering a comment the wolf had said further back, a direct confrontation to Magispar; the apparently non-leader. A shiver of fear went down her spine; she wouldn’t want to tangle with that one.
Her eyes once again wandered to the pups, and they fearsome mother. Charis couldn’t help but admire the mother. Flames lit her way in the utter darkness, and provided light for her children to play in.
The one who had apparently called the meeting seemed kind and loyal, someone who would make a fine mentor Charis noted in her head. However she remained wary, knowing that first impressions could easily be false.
Another white wolf in the clearing, one who seemed to hold a menacing power, that Charis couldn’t quite put her paw on. This wolf seemed quite wise and thoughtful.
A sigh escaped her, Charis felt nervous in the midst of such great wolves. She could only hope that she could be as good as them one day, and finally prove herself. The butterfly once again fluttered past her face, and Charis flapped her wings in response. The butterfly swirled in the air for a moment, before landing gently on her nose. Charis crossed her eyes trying to get a good look at it before it fluttered off.

Phoenix nodded and smiled at all the compliments she was getting on her pups and they warmed her heart, even though they were no specific species they were still treated as one and that was all she had wanted for them to be treated like everyone else. She looked at Calyx who was laying by her side and then to Hoshi who was bouncing around in her own fantasy world. "Hush Hoshi, sit down and pay attention they might answer some of your questions, and if you dont want to sit by me you may sit wherever you want as long as you are not getting in the way." she nodded to Hoshi then turned her attention back to the meeting and the possible allies. The ones chosen were fine with her and she thought no need of her input for it was mostly the same.
She dipped her head in greetings to each of the new wolves who joined giving a smile to Cyra as she passed but turned her head to see a small young wolf with bright yellow butterfly wings fluttering upon her back. She tilted her head, she had never seen this species before and it would be good to get to know her so she would be able to recognize the species next time. The young female seemed to be hesitating and a bit nervous to join the group. She flicked her tail towards the butterfly wolf beckoning her to come forward. She looked hardly over a year old and most likely be taking the apprentice position in the pack and in need of a mentor.
She could be someone for her pups to play with and ask about apprentice duties and what not and maybe show them a few things. She smiled at these thoughts and softly greeted the black, yellow and white wolf. "Greetings young one and welcome to the Alliance, theres no need to be afraid we won't bite." she smiled trying to encourage her to come forth. Phoenix always had a soft spot for pups and would be just as caring as if they were her own.

"Then, if we're all in agreement, it's settled. We'll send out ambassadors to the Clan, Knights and Republic." She turned to Evelyn. "You won't need to make friends if you don't want to, or aren't good at it," she told her. "Nobody ought to have to do anything they don't want to do, least of all in the Alliance. We can pick others to be ambassadors, and you don't have to be friendly with the packs we pick as allies, just not attack them." Magi returned her gaze to the clearing. "If you're OK with it, then, Faye, I suggest you be one of the ambassadors... I will volunteer to go to one of the other packs, and we will need a third. Keinvarii?" she asked, making it a question aimed at the green wolf. "Once we've decided this, unless anybody else has some more concerns, we can end the meeting..." Magispar nodded, then retreated a few steps to stand next to Charis. She grinned at Phoenix's comment to the Sennyo. "Well, we don't bite hard, anyway," she joked. "But either way. Charis, welcome to the Alliance. You'll need a mentor," the dark wolf told her. She wasn't a fan of beating about the bush, preferring to have a point and get to it. "You can pick one, and if they agree, they'll be your mentor. Alternatively you can wait for somebody to approach you, or let me find you one. Your choice." Nodding to the wolf, Magi continued, "Tell me when you've thought it through some more." The Guide then returned to her space near the centre of the meeting; she did not sit down, preferring to be on her feet as they finished up. Hopefully choosing the ambassadors and Charis' mentor would be the last things to need fixing and then the meeting could break up- Magi knew that while she might love the meetings, many of her pack felt nervous with too much company.

She wandered the land remaining close to the riverbank, so as not to get herself lost out in the open. Mishka had never really liked being out in the open for long periods of time, especially when one was alone, but being within the land she could call home soothed her slight anxiety. Although feeling contented by the thought that she was completely free to roam the pack boundaries, Mishka subconsciously still felt somewhat uncomfortable for not learning the lands from another pack member. After all she had only met Magispar on her initial stumble into the alliance and since then had seen no other being. Mishka decided it was needed of her to introduce herself to other pack members. She stopped walking and stood completely still with her head held high, so that even the smallest of sounds could be heard. There was bubbling ripple of water as it flowed gently along the river and the whistle of the breeze the wound its way through the tail blades of grass. Mishka’s auricles pricked at the sound of voices that had ridden towards her on the wind. They seemed close and Mishka was surprised in herself not to have heard them sooner..I must stop allowing myself to become deep in thought, it throws my guard off balance .. she growled slightly to herself.
Mishka followed the sound of voices, as they grew stronger in her ears, one of which becoming familiar. She recognized the voice to be that of the kind female that had welcomed her in. She was speaking with, what Mishka could only assume were pack members, of creating alliances with other packs. A topic that Mishka could honestly say she knew nothing about. Although still at a distance, her exceptional eyesight meant she could see the pack clearly now, all of whom were very different to one another. Mishka recognized Magi, who was stood amongst six other wolves, one whom had two pups beside her paws. Her eyes softened after glancing upon the young pups, for she felt somewhat nervous of making her presence known the group. Mishka was only young and after all had never received experience of being part of a pack. She sat and waited until Magi ended the current conversation, as she did not want to intrude, then made her way slowly and quietly towards the dens and her new pack..

Charis was hesitant; she didn’t want to mess it up. However, she had been beckoned. Padding her way over, her paws thumping quite hard on the ground, and to her embarrassment, nearly tripped and fell over a rock. "Greetings young one and welcome to the Alliance, theres no need to be afraid we won't bite." The red wolf said in welcoming. She sat across from the wolf, keeping her distance. Then stammering, returned her greetings “Hello, I’m well aware you only bite when needed.” Making sure to smile a friendly grin, and to wrap her tail casually around her legs “Those are some nice pups there, and um, how old are they?” Charis question curious, she herself being no older than two years. Her splayed across her back a vibrant yellow, and her voice gentle but loud. Her antenna twitched uncomfortably.

She did not expect all the pack members to quickly offer up their names as she expected a few to be shy or in Evelyn’s case was not extremely friendly. Which was perfectly acceptable with Cyra. She smiled at the welcomes and like everyone else, couldn’t help but to notice phoenix’s pups. The last time they had meet, phoenix did have her pups with her. Cyra smiled at the big balls of fur then at phoenix if as to say, 'your pups are lovely'. she lingered her gaze on the pups for a couple more seconds then turned back.
She wasn’t active in this conversation as she was new to the pack and didn't know a lot about all the other packs either. She stayed some distance away and quietly listened to the packs mentioned as possible allies. The wolves such as Magispar seemed quite knowledgeable about the topic, so Cyra sat there quietly listening. When Magispar said the meeting could now end, Cyra stood up, nodding her head to the others showing she had no concerns and waited to be dismissed.
It was then she turned her head to stretch her neck when she noticed another wolf she had not seen before. Cyra could tell the new one was young, maybe 2 or 3? She assumed this was another new member in The Alliance. This new wolf seemed nervous, so acting friendly Cyra said “Hello! My name is Cyra.” Cyra smiled at the young one kindly.

Evelyn nodded at Magi's words, glad she wouldn't have to go anywhere and end up screwing this up for the pack. That was the last thing the old Lumen wanted to do to her new pack. She was busy gazing at Phoenix's pups, but certainly did notice when a young Sennyo came up shyly. She appeared rather young, only a few years old. The Lumen smiled, she had learned to respect those species who lived long like she did. However, this wolf was young and Evelyn was interested when Magi said something about a mentor.
Could this be my chance...to do something of worth? She wondered, standing to walk closer to the wolf, only to come up beside another, a female who called herself Cyra. She glanced at the wolf and forced a smile, "Nice to meet you, Cyra. I am Evelyn, a fighter. Forgive me for my lack of friendliness, it's not like me to make friends or be in a pack. It has been 100 years since I was last in one..." Evelyn chuckled, it really had been a long time since she was last surrounded by so many wolves.
She turned her attention to the young Sennyo. "Again, forgive me for my lack of friendliness, I'm not quite used to being in a pack just yet. It has indeed been a long time. There's no need to be afraid of my old self. I'm usually laid back and fun. I was curious about this whole equality thing these wolves keep speaking of. I'm curious to find if it exists." Evelyn paused, giving the wolf a moment to catch up on it, but offered a happy smile. "What is your name, little one?"
Evelyn certainly hoped she hadn't scared the little Sennyo, she wanted to be on good terms with everyone in the pack, no matter how small or young they were. She hoped she hadn't offended anyone and suddenly decided to herself that she needed to return to her prankster, happy self.

Calyx watched the white wolf warily as she approached and spoke, saying how pretty they were. Colors? He supposed he liked colors too...but apparently not as much of this female. Her eyes were red and they scared him a little. He didn't do much to show it, but curled closer to his mother's side to get far away from her as she passed him and spoke to a butterfly wolf who was looking at them.
He turned to his mother and spoke again, "Momma, what kind of wolf is that white one? Her red eyes are kinda scary..." He didn't want to be mean to the big white wolf, but she seemed old and large, much bigger than him. "What can she do?" He wondered, thinking whether or not she was a Lupus or a weird looking Yagi like him, horns not having grown in yet.

Although this was another new species, it was with some relief that Mishka discovered she was not the only one new to the pack and so she relaxed a little in her walk. As she came closer, and within view if others were to look her way, she toyed in her mind how to address all the wolves at once without seeming rude. Although the pack was equal, Mishka was unsure as to the rights of speaking out freely.. Not that she really wanted to speak out to all at once anyway, as her nerves were getting the better of her. She had never been part of a pack, or even come across wolves she did not know and therefore did not know quite what to do in addressing them.
Just as Mishka considered turning back to try meeting with fewer wolves later on when the meeting had disbanded, a brown wolf had stood and turned her head towards Mishka. The female’s eyes were a bright green and had the mark of a green leaf upon her forehead that stood out against her brown pelt. Mishka could only guess that she was another wolf who had power to control the elements. This one did not seem as involved in the conversation as some of the others.. perhaps she is new here also? Mishka contemplated to herself. She had called out “Hello! My name is Cyra.” in her direction. Mishka instantly turned her head to look behind her, incase there was someone else she was addressing. Realizing there was no one else around, Mishka smiled back to the wolf that had said hello to her in a kindly manner.
Mishka padded closer so she was now just outside of the group, she had never been with so many before.“Hello, nice to meet you Cyra!” Mishka spoke back in friendly tones and a smile upon her face. She was glad to be in the presence of more welcoming wolves. “My name is Mishka and I’m afraid to say I am completely new to the Alliance. Have you been with this pack long?” Mishka stretched uncomfortably and gazed around the group again now that she had a better view, before resting her eyes back on Cyra with a pleasant smile.
