The white furred Lumen dragged her black paws onward, keeping her body straight. Her black tail and ears twitched continuously, crimson eyes keeping themselves on the meadow before her. Evelyn knew Stone said to come here if she wanted to meet the others. She wanted to, believe her, but she was almost...afraid to do so. She hadn't been around more than one wolf in nearly 50 years. Stone was the first in a long time to show any kindness to her and was good enough for the Lumen to put her trust in.
The scent of the Alliance became stronger as she walked closer and closer to the bushes. Feeling uneasy, Evelyn debated upon making herself invisible, but didn't. She trusted Stone's word that she would be safe, that this pack was based on equality and that no one would attack her. The main reason she had come was not only to meet the others, but to see if this pack held the equality she was told of. Evelyn growled slightly when approaching a rock, climbing up to the top and standing there. She had no intention of doing anything but keeping watch for her Lupus friend.
"Where are you, Stone...?"

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,500,true] | [atrb=background,http://i.imm.io/5pev.png] Stone trotted into the clearing, her nose sniffing at the cold night air. Admittedly the night was young yet, but already the dark sky provided a nice cover, only the pale and luminescent rays of the moon to guide the wolves's paths. Blending into the shadows she used her stone sight to read the echoes from the rocks. It appeared that she was indeed second to reach the meeting grounds of the Alliance as the familiar and welcome shape of Evelyn was reflected back to hey.
Emerging from the tall grass she gave a yip of greeting so not to alarm her new friend. The night could play tricks on wolves, and a cautious warning seemed like a polite way to go. She spun around a couple times to form a nest like shape in the grass and sat down, wrapping her tail around her body. It was a rather comfortable position, and it felt good to take a break from all the patrolling. With a content sigh she said, "Are you there Evelyn? I apologize for my late arrival, I needed to grab a bite to eat." And what a delicious bite the young deer had proven to be, thought Stone as she licked her chops at the memory. Hopefully the others would get here soon, there was much to be discussed.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,465,true] | [bg=ffff00] Faye approached the pack's meeting place gracefully, the Lupuse's long white legs carrying her the distance to a flat stone. She made sure to come out where they could easily see her so as not to alarm anyone. She knew some wolves were very sensitive to being caught off-guard, being one herself. Her yellow eyes scanned the two wolves already there, and she was relieved to find she recognized at least one of them as Stone. She stretched and layed down, her head resting on her white forepaws. Alright, she told herself, now is the time to finally practice your social skills with more than one wolf at a time...
" Good evening, everyone." She directed her introduction mostly at the new wolf she didn't know: " My name is Faye, and I'm a Sage. I thank you for inviting me to this meeting, Stone. I am looking forward to meeting my new pack members." She smiled at them both, her tail slightly wagging. She knew some wolves could be intimidated by her height and sometimes her proud nature, so she tried to be extra friendly when meeting new wolves so as not to scare them off: She didn't necessarily dislike conversation, but only when there was a reason to have one would she join in.
Meeting her pack was a good reason to Faye, and so she had come.

(OOC: I was considering calling a pack meeting just for a thread like this, but this is perfect. Thanks, Stone! ) [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,500,true] | [atrb=background,http://i.imm.io/56Mq.jpeg]Magispar's feet were light as she trotted towards the clearing. She knew Stone had asked all her new recruits to come and meet here, and she would have done the exact same if she hadn't been busy for the last few days. She regretted her absence from the pack at a crucial time; in a way, she would have liked to be the one to call the meeting. But she recognised that Stone had been right to do it; and besides, she told herself, this is the Alliance, where all wolves are equal. There were other things to do, apart from meeting everybody. She had discussions she'd like to have with the rest of the pack, points to raise that normally she would raise at a full pack meeting. But it was better this way; a full formal meeting... well, the pack was young yet, and she preferred Stone's way; just an informal gathering of the wolves in the pack. With a flick of her tail and a bounce on her paws, she bounded into camp. Three wolves were already there, sitting; she recognised Stone, but neither of the others. She was just in time to catch one of them saying she was Faye, the new Sage. Magispar grinned. "Hey, Stone!" she called out, trotting down until she stood besides the main rock. She gave her friend a nod and a smile, then turned to the others. "Hello. I'm Magispar, the Guide, or you can call me Magi." She smiled at the white wolf. "Nice to meet you, Faye. Good to have you, we need a Sage." She cast a critical eye over the wolf; she was white, with yellow eyes, and appeared to be a Lupus like herself. She wondered what the Lupus' power was. Either way, her friendly tone seemed to indicate a nice enough wolf. She could imagine herself getting along with this Faye. Nodding to her and smiling, she turned to the other wolf; white, with black ears and tail and red eyes. Magispar smiled again, but this time it was half to herself; a victorious smile, of sorts. She recognised the wolf's species instantly; of course, Nazirah, her co-fouder and co-Guide and possibly mate, was one too. They had a similar species-scent, and the red eyes confirmed it. "Hi," Magispar said to the other wolf. "Nice to have another Lumen in the pack.... if you don't mind me asking, what's your name?"

Evelyn cast Stone a greeting yip from where she sat upon the top of the rock, "I am here, Stone." She waited patiently, feeling at ease near the Lupus. Her ears pricked high when another Lupus entered the clearing. White fur, yellow eyes. She watched her warily, rising to her feet and feeling her fur wanting to bristle. She kept it flat as the wolf introduced herself. Faye, a sage. The Lumen assumed that meant she was a healer of the pack.
Evelyn was aware of another wolf entering the clearing just as Faye said what her title in the pack was. She stared at the new wolf with her crimson eyes, beginning to loose that feeling of ease. She hadn't been around this many wolves in a long time and equality was her biggest issue here. She wanted to test these wolves, other than Stone, to see if they really believed in the thing she didn't even fathom a thought about. The female introduced herself as Magispar, or Magi, the guide of the pack. She seemed like the one that would lead the pack, one that would call the meeting, but Stone had called it, giving the Lumen an idea of what equality looked like.
Evelyn crept down off the rock and walked over to Magispar, close enough that their noses were nearly touching. Her crimson eyes bore into the guide's. "You are one who believes in equality." Her voice was smooth, even. She wanted to be teasing, but kept it to business. "My name is Evelyn and I am a fighter. I joined this pack because Stone captured me and I owed her a wish. She wished for me to join and I held true to my word. She speaks of equality here. I am 200 years old and grew up without believing such things. I am giving you a chance to prove to me this "equality" exists."

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,500,true] | [atrb=background,http://i.imm.io/5pev.png] Stone got and waged her tail in greeting, it was always a joy to see Magi. As her first actually friend the light lupus was high on her list of loyalties, followed directly by Evelyn and Faye. With a welcoming smile Stone replied, " Hey Magi, nice to see you! Faye and Evelyn are the two new members I had mentioned. They seem like a great bunch." This was stated with a touch of pride, she had learnt a lot about her joining experiences and it was actually quite fun to meet the new wolves one on one.
She watched with trepidation as Evelyn approached Magi, she was not sure how the light Lupus would respond to the unique Lumen's approach. However, it was a fair response that demonstrated honesty and Stone was certainly curious to hear Magi's response. If the two did not reach a place of agreement she really did not want to have to choose sides between her friends, both of whom held many admirable qualities. Her eyes darted between the two, as she instilled trust in her friends. Magi was much too positive to take offense like Stone, and Evelyn was really quite reasonable.
She glanced over at Faye to see how the lupus was handling the situation. Apart from Magi, the wolves present were used to being on their own, and under the circumstance everyone seemed to be handling the change rather well. "Thanks for making it here Faye, hope it's not too overwhelming yet." She grinned, if she was correct there were still other members that she had yet to meet, how would it be to have them all here?

OOC: Because I absolutely have to, ;D and my favorite one of all: [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,465,true] | [bg=ffff00] Faye nodded and smiled to Magispar's greeting, glad to have yet another friendly pack member. Calm, Faye simply remained lying down, though raised her ears to catch the conversation between Magispar and Evelyn: A Lumen, she had said? Interesting, to have lived 200 years... she thought to herself. She found her own respect for Stone and Evelyn to be growing, and she was sure Magispar would soon earn it too.
She understood Evelyn must be testing Magispar to see if this pack truly was equal, but Faye felt that she herself did not need to: She trusted this new pack, and trusted her instincts. No, there would be no tests form Faye tonight. However, she respected Evelyn's decision, and it made sense to her: Faye herself had had some trust issues once she ran away from her old pack, feeling crushed by her parents aspirations for her to be the alpha just as they had been.
She had seen other wolves betrayed, and even herself, in her seven years therefore she knew, being 200 years old, that Evelyn must have seen much more that herself, and had her own reasons to test Magispar. She realized Stone had said something to her, and she answered: " No, it is not, and I am glad I could meet all of you." she kept her answer brief, mostly because she didn't particularly like talking much, but also because she was interested in Magispar's answer: How did this pack define equality?

Phoenix walked through the hollow her pups bouncing at her heels her ears and tail tip lit up with bright red flames guiding her through the early night, the sun had just set and the sky was a deep royal blue and the first stars were just starting to shine. She could hear the voices of other wolves ahead, she had been notified of the meeting by Magi and a smile grew across her face as she could smell the distinct smell of Lupus's and she soon came into sight of them. Signaling for her pups to stick close to her she approached the group of wolves warily, it usually took awhile for Phoenix to trust wolves for many she had once trusted had led her astray. She kept her tail and ears lit as she walked through the grass.
When she arrived she scanned her surroundings and the wolves around her, she knew none of them except for Magispar but they all carried the scent of the Alliance so she relaxed a bit. She dipped her head politley in greeting "Greetings, I am Phoenix, one of the fighters of the pack, and these two, she waved her tail to point at her pups, are my pups, the reddish-black female is Hoshi and the russet male is Calyx, and if I may ask your names?" she was polite and willing to make friends, she heated her paws flames around them and burnt a hole through the grass heating the ground below. She circled it once with burning paws and lay down gesturing for her pups to lay beside and not to get under any wolves paws.

I was trying to get rid of another window but it did some weird anti-loading thing and minimised itself at the last second and I ended up closing THIS WINDOW and deleting my entire post. *sob* So, this post will be much shorter than I planned it, 'cause I'm not typing all that out again.) (OOC: And Phoenix, sure. I'll bring Hoshi in straight after this.) [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,500,true] | [atrb=background,http://i.imm.io/56Mq.jpeg]Magispar looked back into Evelyn's eyes as she spoke of giving her a chance to prove that equality exists. She nodded slightly, her eyes not leaving Evelyn's. "I cannot simply tell you it and hope you believe it. If that was going to work then you would not be telling me this," Magispar replied with quiet sincerity. "If I cannot express the pack's equality in words to you, I will have to hope that actions can speak louder than words and keep looking for a chance to prove myself to you." Suddenly a grin spread across her face as she heard Phoenix's voice and she turned to see the red wolf. "Phoenix! It's brilliant to see you, I'm so glad you could make it. Your cubs are beautiful," she complimented her. She considered for a second introducing the other wolves, but then decided not to. Names were the property of their owners, and she wouldn't take the choice to give them away out of her new packmates' paws. She took a step back and gave herself the rare joy of a long, deep, contemplative breath; she drew air in, eyes half-closed, and tasted on it the joy of being alive, and her pride in this moment, and the cool beauty of the evening. "So," she said, throwing her voice out across the clearing without being loud. She turned and took another step back, making sure she could see every member of the pack. "This is the first time all of the Philia Alliance has been together at once," she mused. "And I hope I see here the beginnings of trust, and hope." She let her gaze travel over the other wolves, looking each briefly in the eye. "I believe I do, and I will honour this until the end of time," she vowed quietly. Taking the time to feel the cool evening dew under her feet and see the first few stars in the sky, she fixed the short moment in her memory. The first ever meeting, if informal and without every member present. She smiled happily, completely at peace with herself for a brief time. She was confident that, in time, they would all come to trust each other. For the first time since the founding, she felt again a small swell of pride in her chest at the pack that had come together under the banner of equality and freedom.

(OOC; first ever Hoshi post. Trying to make her sound kinda childlike and this RP post is completely failing...) [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,500,true] | [atrb=background,http://i.imm.io/5Ei5.png]Hoshi huddled against the side of her mother, eyes wide as she gazed with wide-eyed innocence around the general gathering. There were lots of wolves- more than she'd seen together before in her life, she thought, or at least the parts of her life she could remember. Stuff was a bit hazy sometimes.... ooh look! Butterfly? No. Not butterfly. She shook her head. No. You're not a cub anymore.... okay, you are, but butterflies are for babies. She smiled at the big black wolf- all wolves were big to her- she'd forgotten her name, but she remembered her from the caves. Oh yeah, the caves! Those were ages ago. Like, half a lifetime. She nodded. They were hazy, but she remembered. She looked around happily as the black wolf gave some kind of speech. When she had finished, Hoshi looked up at her mother. "Mummy, what's the Philia Alliance?" she asked. She had some vague notions... pack. Packs were good, she decided. And if these wolves were the Philia Alliance, she liked them. She skittered away from her mother as she heated her paws and started burning things again. "Mummy!" she complained haughtily. "You know I don't like it when you do that!" Nose to the ground, Hoshi started moving back towards her mother, carefully testing the ground to see if it was cool enough to stand on. She stared crossly at her mother. "Why can't I get under wolves' paws? They seem nice. Besides I won't annoy them. And the ground's all hot now, I don't like it. Why can't I have cool powers? Like a superwolfy from pups' stories! Pow, pow, pow!" She was off in her own little world again; like all cubs of her age, she was not exactly very mature.

Evelyn was stunned, feeling the hints of a real smile tug endlessly at the corners of her mouth. She held Magispar's gaze as she spoke, "In my 200 years of life, no one has been able to give me a straight answer like that." The Lumen found it impressive and felt her respect build for these wolves. There weren't many things the old wolf trusted anymore and none of which she had ever given a chance. Trust was a fragile thing, but Stone might have just proved to her that it was worth saving. After all, she wouldn't have wished for Evelyn to join the pack if she didn't at all believe so.
Evelyn watched the red wolf emerge from the dark. She sighed, "So many Lupus..." It was then that she noticed the young pups. They were adorable and Evelyn couldn't help but smile. She had always loved pups, how small and innocent they were. They were the very picture of good, having done nothing wrong with how long they had lived. They were beautiful pups and she almost wanted to go greet them. However, their mother was probably not too intent on sharing. Phoenix burned the ground with her paws and Hoshi began complaining Evelyn chuckled, "How cute..."
She turned around, her attention now on Faye. "It's nice to meet you, Faye. I'm sorry I've ignored you some." It was then that she turned around and looked at Stone. "I have to thank you, Stone. This might be worth your wish. I think I might just like it here." She stalked a little ways from the others and near a bush, laying down beneath it. She remained out of the way of everyone else. She wasn't new at this, but being around this many wolves reminded her that it has really been a very, very long time.

And by the looks of it, they were mostly lupuses too. As a gentle breeze passed by, she trotted up to the other wolfs and said, “Greetings, my name is Cyra. The newest hunter and member of the Phillia Alliance.” Though she had been mostly on her own for a year, she was not afraid of crowds, and looked kindly into each of the other members eyes. She tried to look friendly and happy as she did so, then added, not wanting to be rude, “I hope I did not interrupt anything,” and with that, laid her tired, muddy paws, out before her, on the soft grass and laid down.
It has been a while since she had a chance to relax, and she didn’t feel the least bit intimidated by this crowd. There was a forest nearby, which relaxed her, but at the same time strengthened her. The grass beneath her was plentiful and soft and the smell of budding flowers washed over her nose with every breath. This really is the place to be, she thought.
She looked up once more to the members of The Phillia Alliance before her, and nicely asked “If I may ask, what are your names?”

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,500,true] | [atrb=background,http://i.imm.io/5pev.png] Stone looked at Phoenix's pups with quiet amusement; they were undeniably cute. She had never seen pups before, therefore being able to meet the two balls of fur in her first pack was quite the experience. Grinning unabashedly she said to Phoenix, "Thanks so much for giving us the privilege of meeting your adorable pups." She turned to the cubs smiling and said in a gently voice, "It's nice to meet you two, you have a formidable mom. Don't worry about getting under my paws, you're welcome to bug me anytime." She hoped she had not gone against Phoenix's wishes, but she had wanted to put the pups at ease and include them in the meeting.
With a slight wag of the tip of her tail she replied Cyra, "Hi Cyra, the name is Keinvarii, but feel free to call me Stone. Welcome to the pack, it is great to see us growing so fast." She glanced at Magi, a content look in her eyes. It was thanks to the light lupus that they had this home; actually it was thanks to her that Stone had left being alone and was now part of this family. It would seemed that most members had made it to the meeting and Stone supposed it was time to start a discussion. Turning to Magi she said, "Being relatively new to the group, I would like to hear what plans you had for us. You had previously mentioned some rather interesting ideas that I think are well worth the energy. Personally I would also like to bring up the topic of our political relations with our neighboring packs. Being a small group I was thinking that until we develop a stronger foundation it may be a good idea to establish a friendly link with them in case we should ever, or they should ever, need help."
Cocking her head to the side she waited for her words to sink in, the sound strong and firm across the night sky before adding, "This is only my opinion of course, and I would love to hear your thoughts on the matter." She in no way wanted to take over, but being practical in nature she also wished to get down to business so that the pack could grow in security and be comfortable knowing that they were safe.
