OOC; I'm sorry, I'm kinda out of muse
Night. A time of silence, solitude. The sky was clear all across, glittering with stars and a bright, giant moon. Down below, the swamp continued it's every day life in a rather calm manner. A single male Lupus stepped upon the muddy ground, deep blue eyes glancing around the strange landscape. A swamp. He had been to some along his travels, but this one had a calm domenior to it.
Jerrad shook his pelt before he continued to step on the muddy surface. He passed trees, along with a wide array of flora. He scented the air and got a whole spectrum of smells; mud, grass, flowers, trees, water. Water. Only then did he notice his tongue was dry, wanting water. He loped around some logs until he found the water.
Leaning down, he let his tongue slip from his mouth and lap at the water. When he had his share he stood back up and glanced around. For some odd reason, this place made him calm. He sat down and breathed in the air once again.
"What an interesting place..." His ears twitched to every sound, every frog and cricket. He sighed, feeling a faint and familiar emotion slowly creeping up on him. "Once again I'm alone..." He lowered his head and stared at the water, watching as it twisted and shifted.

Sunchaser streched herself from her position in the trees. A moment ago one in the clan had howled the all clear so she was just taking a small break as the darkness descended. She looked down as she heard the sounds of foot steps and lapping. She tilted her head as she watched the blue coated male. He was rather beautiful to her but then most wolves that had blue in their coats were. She sighed she was missing her amte and didnt know were he was.
Shrugging, she glided down out of the trees to land a few feet away from him. "Hello. Welcome to the Quesse Anar Clan. I am Sunchaser the alphess of these lands. Who are you?" She tilted her head agian as she watched him. He seemed to have that same loneliness she was experiencing as of late.

As soon as he heard the voice, Jerrad was back up on his feet and craning his neck over to see where the voice had come from. His eyes had lost their calm luster and gained a slightly cautious glance, though an underlying layer still portayed his loneliness. It was a female Keiyou. He turned his body towards her and stood his ground in front of her. They were near the same height, though he had more meat on his bones. His deep blue eyes shone at her as he stayed silent for a moment, listening as she introduced herself.
"Sunchaser, alphess of the Quesse Anar Clan..." He reviewed the words, shaking his fur. He lowered his head, knowing he should show respect to those in a land that wasn't his. He slightly relaxed his body and opened his maw to speak. "I apologize. I didn't realize a pack lived here." His words were clear, hinted with his faint Arabic accent. His tail twitched anxiously behind him. The female didn't seem like the type to chase away intruders, though he knew not to underestimate others.
Noticing he hadn't introduced himself, he kept his eyes locked on hers. "Jerrad." He murmured, shutting his mouth abruptly and falling silent. He sighed faintly, glancing at the clear skies. He was hoping to get silence, though the presence of another wolf brought up old feelings of comfort. He didn't know what he wanted anymore.

Sunchaser watched him from her blue orbs which were currently a pure blue of the ocean. She wathced him from these, seeing his reaction to her. Moving forward she sat across the water from him. " Do you mind if i join you for a little? I am not due back to the camp for a bit but i did want some company." She laid down, looking like a sphinx. She would talk if he wished to but it seemed he wanted quiet. So why not?

Jerrad eyed her as she moved, watching her lie down. He relaxed his body further, sitting back down. He had noticed her generally calm attitude. He closed his eyes for a moment and thought. "She seems as lonely as I. I mean, if she's willing to take the company of a random male that's tresspassing on her territory, then perhaps she could use someone to talk to." He turned his deep blue orbs back to her and grumbled to himself. He wasn't one for doing things without a price, but he didn't like seeing others wolves filled with the same loneliness as he. Especially females.
The gears in his head worked to think of something to start a conversation. He cleared his throat, pawing lightly at the ground. "Er... So, Sunchaser... How long have you and your pack been living here?" He looked at her again, curiosity now taking control. This place was wonderful, despite it's muddy exterior, and he had so far enjoyed it. Perhaps he could find a new home here. Only time would tell.

Sunchaser watched Jarred, resting on the ground and just listening to the sounds. Her towers perked as he spoke. She looked up at the sky and thought about it. "Hmm if i had to say i think we have been here for about a year. Before that i was a traveler."She sighed and shook her head before looking at Jarred agian.
"What brings you to this place?"Her blue eyes grew slightly darker as she tried not to think about Chance. She really was worried about him and its not somthing she was used to. Even after a year of being together and having had pups she still wasnt used to the mate thing. She watched the blue male, had he lost someone to? Even if hers might come back she still was worried.

His eyes wandered to the cool night sky as she answered his question. It really wasn't all that important to him, just a random conversation starter. When she inquired his own reason for being here, he brought his eyes back to her. They had gained a haunted tone to them, like he was being tormented by something; and he was. Ever since the death of his brother, he'd never been the same. He couldn't live down the shame and regret that he felt, because he knew it was his fault his brother was lost. He swallowed hard and shook his head, pushing aside the feeling and returning back to his calm state.
"I'm also a traveler... Have been for three years now." His voice trailed off for a moment, making a note that there was more to the story but that he did not want to share it. Ever since he had been banished he tried to forget about it. But it kept coming back, coming to haunt his every thought.
Jerrad sighed and looked to his paws. "I've seen many places; but so far," he nodded to the swamp around them. "This has to be one of the best places I've visited." He breathed in the crisp scents once again. They reminded him of home, for some reason, even though nothing of his home was anything close to here. But it had that strange feeling to it. And it was quite relaxing to him.

Sunchaser listened to him speak and nodded her head. Three years was about right for her travelings. She didn't know what happened to her parents. She assumed they where killed by the Lyxxus that had attacked her in the first place. Her eyes scaned the clouds as her ears twitched at the sounds of prey in the marsh as well as far off sounds of her clan. She was tuned to each sound of her territory as such she probally heard more then others that lived here or stangers unless they had good hearing or observatoin skills.
She listened to him and smiled. "If you would like a place you are more then welcome to live with us. We do not like violence though we do what we must to protect the clan. Everyone has a job, doesnt matter of age and the positions can always change. But if you are loyal and dont cause to much trouble besides the normal mischief and what not then you are more then welcome to come here. I know it would take some time of course to see if you like it but perhaps youd like a trial period. See what we do, who we are." She watched him now, wondering if he would join them or not. Of course that was all up to him. She would not push him for that was not who she was. Her body rose and she shook her self, opening her wings for a moment before letting them settle back down. Her blue orbs gazed at him wondering what he was thinking.

Jerrad brought his eyes back to her. A place to stay? Even if it wasn't forever, he hasn't ever really stayed in one spot for more than a day. Only now did he realize that his paws were tired, begging for rest, along with a faint growl in his stomach. He blinked at her and slowly nodded. He could feel her eyes watching him, waiting for a response. He quickly thought for a moment. "She's offering me a place to stay..." His thoughts trailed for a moment, tail twitching anxiously. Should he accept?
He cleared his throat and looked back at the wolfess. "Er... Well... If it's not too much trouble..." His deep blue eyes turned back to the sky of glittering stars. A breeze came by, ruffling his fur. His eyes shone a look of longing. "I haven't had a place to call home, even a temporary home, for a long time..." He brought his eyes back to her again, the corners of his lips lifting to a slight smile. "I'd love to stay here a few days, maybe longer. If that's ok," he was strangely in a good mood, something he hadn't seen in a while. The strangest part was he was comfortable around Sunchaser, someone he had just met. Perhaps he was ment to come here. So far, things were being perfectly put together like a puzzle.

Sunchaser ducked her head when she heard the growl of his stomach. She smiled at him as he spoke. She watched him, waiting for the words to reach her. When they did she smiled agian and chuckled softly. "If it was trouble i wouldnt have asked and probally would have chased you off. " She tilted her head and listened to him, nodding her head. "I truthfully didnt think i would ever be the alphess of a pack but here i am. Now this is my home. If you find that its your home to great, if its not then i do understand. But i would try give it sometime, perhaps it could change your wandering ways as well."
She moved forward and then jumped over the water. "If you are hungry i know there is some fresh kill at the camp." She looked at him, tilting her head a moment. She was still curious of this male, didnt know why just that she was. Inwordly she shrugged before walking off in the direction of the camp. She looked over her shoulder to see if he was following.

He nodded to her, watching as she leaped over the river. "It's already growing on me; for some reason it makes me feel calm. Which is strange considering it's a swamp." He shook his fur and stood, watching her as she began to walk. He followed a few feet behind. "Oh, I promise I won't eat much. I'd hate to be a burden to your pack."
Jerrad huffed lightly as his paws met the muddy ground again. Even though he did like it here, it would take some time to get used to the mud. He followed behind Sunchaser, sighing. "Thank you, Sunchaser. It gives me some relief to know I can stay here," He casted her a slight smile before it vanished again. He was in a real good mood, if he was smiling as much as he was.
As they walked, the Lupus yawned. He was getting tired. Though, the growling in his stomach was getting the better of him. Perhaps this place could be his new home; he didn't see why it couldn't.

Sunchaser moved through the damp forest. He paws steped lightly as she moved. If she was a human you would think she was a dancer. Her towers perked back to him and smiled. "If i thught you where to be a burden I would not ask you to be a part of the pack. " She chuckled softly before going under a low hanging tree branch. "When i first came here i felt the calm as well. I don't know why the swamp seems to calm but it does. Their are dangers of course but truthfully its worth it."
Sun looked over her shoulder at him. "No problem. Every pack needs those that are loyal and sometimes a new face is just what a pack needs to bring it together agian." She saw his smile and smiled back. Then she saw the yawn and chuckled softly. "Ill take you to your den. If you find that it is not to your likeing feel free to spruce it up or come talk to me. All the dens are filled with dry moss for bedding. No bugs or anything that could be dangerous. Usually its the cubs jobs when we have them but usually everyone just pitches in and helps out."
She moved over the grass, soon seeing the sparkle of the area that was her home and the clans dens. As she neared the closest mangrove she poked her head in. Seeing new moss she nodded to herself before moving and getting under the roots. She moved so that he could come in as well. It was big enough for 3-4 wolves to fit in thie roots so their was another set of moss in the tree as well. However none currently inhabited the same den. "When we get more members we will be doubling up on the dens. However usually dens are kept to each wolf. The other spot is usually for a mate. As we have more then enough trees this will be your home until you choose otherwise." She looked at him with her blue orbs wondering what he saw.

Jerrad watched as she walked, being slightly mesmertized by her walking. She moved so gracefully that it was even close to his sister's magnificent dancing. Even though she had been born with a disorder, she was quite the dancer... Until she had her fall. He shook his head, noticing a distance gaining between them and speeding up. He listened to her talk as they entered the camp.
Breathing in once again, he followed her to the den. He ducked under the roots and moved in beside her. Casting a glance around, his deep blue orbs glittered with an old look he'd lost long ago. He suddenly felt home sick and he held his breath, feeling a slight fear creeping over him, threatening to play over everything that had happened. He shook his head furiously and pawed at his nose, forcing himself to calm down.
Realizing he probably looked weird, he picked his head back up with a forced smile. "Erm! It's wonderful. Kind of reminds me of..home." His voice lowered slightly at the last word, but was barely audible. He looked right at her, the smile off his face again. "Thank you so much for letting me stay here, Sunchaser. I really appreciate it."

Sunchaser showed him his new home and watched what he did. She saw the different look in his eyes and just watched him, seeing the feelings flash across his maw. Her blue orbs took in him shaking his head and pawing his nose. Her head tilted to the side as she watched him, waiting for him to calm himself. The forced smile, it spoke volumes to her as he spoke.
"Home is where you make it. While it might not be where you were born, home can become anything. It travels with you." She smiled at him and nuzzled his neck."No problem Jerrad I hope you will enjoy it and perhaps make this a home like ive made it mine." She moved past him out of the den and streached, moving so that her front paws where down and it was almost like a long bow. But one could tell it was a strech. Then her wings popped open with a little sound before she closed them agian. Her body shook itself as she looked over her shoulder. "If you wish to rest i can show you around the rest of the clan territory later."

Jerrad slowly nodded to her, his eyes wandering to the floor of the den. How he did miss his home. He missed spending the nights with his brother, talking about everything. He sighed softly and took in her words, deep ocean eyes looking back to hers. "Well, I guess she's right about the home part." He shook his fur and watched her move out of the den.
Her nuzzle felt strange, only making him more home sick. He hadn't been shown affection since before he was banished. A weird noise assembled from the back of his throat but was barely audible. He quickly corrected himself. "Thank you, Sunchaser." He felt his stomach growl but his legs were shaking lightly. He sat down, yawning. "I think I'll rest for a little bit. That would be very nice of you." He nodded as he lightly bowed his head to her. After all, she might be his new alphess.
