On her way back from one of her weekly trips to the ocean Sylva had decided to take a slight detour trespassed. Originally she had not meant to but she had started by walking straight towards Lumera Valley and she was met by a swamp. Without another thought she had continued walking and soon she was trapped by water with only one way and that was ahead into the territory of another pack. She had not been too concerned with the pack as she had tried to evade the water but the swamp itself was slippery and even the ground was wet. One false step and all the effort she had put into avoiding the water was foiled. Now unlike most water the swamp’s water was murky. It clung to her beautiful skin, turning her brown. The bits of white fur she had showing in her fish form were now born, even the dark blue was a different colour.
She tried to claw herself out to dryness but she only ended up in sliding back down into the water. She must have tried five times before eventually sitting in the shallow depths and looking around. She was in a shallow area and wherever she decided to go she would have to drag herself until she found deeper water. Her tail would be no help here, her heart clenched as she remembered the pack. They would kill her if they found her trespassing. She did not know much about the packs of the land she had decided to call home but she did know wolves. She shook her head, trying to calm herself down and then she began to drag herself.
She place her two paws in front of her and pulled until her body was aligned with them once more, she repeated this process until she was a few paces away from her starting point, her fin was beginning to dry out and it was cracking. It send rivulets of blood streaming down the fin. She turned herself over so that her fin could become a bit hydrated once more. She didn’t like this place much and it was most likely because she had never been here before that she had gotten into the predicament. She sighed, she was already tired and a way out wasn’t anywhere close. Soon as her strength was up again she would try haul herself onto the surface again. The area here didn’t look half as slippery.
