The mists swirled around his immortal form as each heavy pawstep hit the ground. The gold seemed to suspend itself in the air as he moved amongst the mist, leaving a trail of his being as he moved to and fro. It was easily evident that the male had some purpose behind moving, as his brown, gold and red body parted the mists as he came through. His mind was empty right now, and so he needed to find a host. The sensation was tickling now, but he wouldn't let it get any worse. He had seen first hand the loneliness caused by having no host in his parents, and how it had ultimately meant their annihilation. He scowled as the thoughts hit him once more, but he knew he would find another host. Persuading wolves to believe in him was no hard task for Aox, and so the harbinger had little doubt that he would find some. Preferably a pack, he mused, his ears flicking a bit. He could hear thoughts, words, feel the prescence of a pack and so he moved towards them.
He was just on the fringes of a pack and he could hear muddled thoughts moving around in his mind. Celebration, grandoise... his nose twitched a bit but he waited. 'Aonydis was not one to intrude on a pack without being... invited. Someone would come to the outskirts eventually and that would be his chance. His magenta eyes peered out around him, as his large body swept under him as he sat upon the ground. They found nothing save mist and the golden trail he had left behind him. He had yet to run into another harbinger in all his years of existence, and he didn't plan on running into one now.
The wait did not seem to take long, despite it almost being a full day since he had sat down upon the ground. Aox, being a wolf with an unlimitless existence, had little concept of real time. An hour felt like a minute to him, days hardly longer than hours. His tail flicked every now and then, sending a cascade of gold into the air. Soon.
