The swamp had been a bit of a disappointment. She had spend the night there and no one was coming to say goodbye. She wanted desperately to see her sister one last time, but there was no sight of her. She had left the swamp with low spirits and a sunken heart. However, she would not let that get in the way of her new goal, her new job. She was going to help Nelio with creating a new pack, one that was made of Cael and one that traveled around in order to perform for other packs and earn a sort of immunity. It would take a lot of planning and a lot of recruiting in order to make a decent enough of a show. It wrenched her heart to leave her sister without even a decent goodbye, but she had already promised Nelio she would help. She was a Cael of her word.
Tawny sighed as she padded along the beach, making her way around to search for Nelio. He said he would be waiting here, in the Cove, waiting so they could plan out their course of action. The sand seeped between her toes and itched the skin as it eased between her furs. Her head was held low as she attempted to push the tears away from her beautiful copper flecked, silver eyes. To anyone else, she looked like a plain, dark brown wolf with nothing of interest to hold. Almost like an earth Lupus. In truth, she was a Cael, one who could transform the back half of her body into a long mermaid's tail. She had glittering gold scales and, as pretty as they were, they were the reason she had been made fun of so often. She pushed the thoughts away and shook her head, trying to remain focused on the matter at hand.
She let out a sigh and faced the sun. It was late afternoon at best, as it was nowhere near close to setting but it wasn't quite noon. It did not matter to her. She needed to find Nelio in order for them to begin their planning of the Cael entertainment pack. She wondered if it would be a pack or if it would simply be a group that everyone could come and go as they pleased. It would be better off as a pack so they didn't mysteriously lose members. That would cause the downfall of the group in itself. If there were no members to this thing, then there was no entertainment or there would be no acts for them to play out. Members were a necessity. Tawny let out a yawn and sat herself down on the sand, deciding to take a moment to rest. She needed to clear her head for a few minutes before she went and found Nelio.

Mari yawned. She was tired; she had stayed up all night trying to tricks. Her tail was beginning to grow stiff from soreness. Could My legs possibly be less sore? She rolled her eyes. The pale blue cael dragged herself painfully onto a shale stone and lay down, warming and drying herself. Her tail was just beginning to dry and turn into legs when she heard another wolf somewhere near. She waited a few more moments before stumbling into a standing position, legs braced. Her back legs trembled from lack of use. Well I was right. They aren't sore.
She hesitantly took a few shaky steps away from the water and leapt off the rock onto soft sand. She shook her faded pelt and looked around, her copper orbs glittering with curiosity. She had already made two friends; could this possibly be another? She noticed a brown wolf laying in the sand a few yards away. Her eyes looked lazily at it; she had a sense that it was a Cael just like her. She walked closer and nudged it's neck gently.
"Um... hi there. I'm Mari. Are you waiting for someone?.."
She laid down beside the stranger calmly and gazed at her, admiring her rich earthy pelt. Yeah hers was a pale blue, but she felt out-of-place. She wished she could appear somewhat normal to others...

Tawny was absorbed in her own thoughts and her guard had dropped down dramatically. She had not even sensed the other wolf coming close to her, nor had she noticed she was in the water or on the shale. She had let her guard down to think and she would have cursed herself for it greatly if the female who had approached her was hostile. For a moment, when there was a nudge on the back of her neck, she believed it to be Nelio. However, the scent was strange and so was the appearance. It was definitely a female by the looks, scent, and sound of it. She blinked, startled by the sudden appearance.
For several moments, the female didn't know what to say to the blue furred stranger. The way she had laid beside her made it almost appear as though she had known her for a very long time. It was almost like they had been friends forever. However, that was not how Tawny saw it. She assumed her lack of response would throw the female off, make the former Clan member seem as though she hated her. Instead, she offered her a sweet smile. "I'm not waiting for someone, I am looking for someone. We plan on starting a traveler's group together. Before you get the wrong idea...no, we are not mates. Nor are we in love." She paused for a moment to let out a chuckle. "Forgive me, where are my manners? My name is Tawny. I am a former Teacher for the Clan. What position I hold in this new group I am helping create I do not know. We still must organize everything."

”Oh I see… And I wasn’t going to ask about you and your friend. I was merely just curious. And what does this travelling group do? I’m a little interested in it…”
The blue Cael tilted her head slightly in curiosity. Her name was Tawny, which was an interesting name for a Cael. She wondered if the only reason she said that her friend and her weren’t mates was so that she wouldn’t feel alone or maybe they were but Tawny didn’t want to say anything. She gave a small sigh, wishing she could have a mate that cared. So far none seem interested enough in her. Maybe she just wasn’t good enough… she never was for anyone. Why do you think she’s been a loner for so long?
She stood up clumsily, and shook the sand off her pelt. It was beginning to itch her skin. Mari laid down again, more in front of the former Clan member. Her copper eyes seem to gaze through her as she zoned out slightly, daydreaming of the water sliding through her pelt and her ‘perfect mate’ swimming by her side. He never spoke, she thought of him as a mute. She shook her head slightly to snap back into reality.

Tawny smiled at the young female, content with her presence. She wouldn't be a threat to her and she was all right with that. The thought crossed into her mind as the female spoke to talk to her about entering the group her and Nelio were going to create. It would be a good idea to start recruiting now rather than later. However, the question of whether Nelio would appreciate it now or not crossed her mind. She did not want to offend him. After all, it was his idea to start the group and it was not hers. She had simply offered to help organize things and create the acts that they would be performing in front of the other packs.
She sighed, it was now or never.
"Well, we plan on forming a traveling group of Cael. We plan on performing for other packs as a sort of...deal for immunity. That way we can travel in their lands without being chased out. It might be hard with some packs, but it's still worth a shot." She smiled at the thought of adventuring all across WonderWhy with a group of lovely Cael. She thought of the possibilities and opportunities it could present. It would take a lot of pre-planning on their part and, as she thought more about it, having Mari with them could be a big step in beginning that process. She smiled nervously, "Of course, it will take a bit to kick it off at first. However, we both have our hearts set on this. He convinced me that Cael are meant to be more than just fishermen. We have beautiful voices are in naturally graceful in water."

"Talking" Narration
"I think it's a lovely idea! Um... Would I be good enough to join?..." She asked hesitantly, she lowered her gaze ot her paws in more of submission or shame she couldn't decide. Mari was never one much for asking of something; she waited until the offer was given before she gladly took it. She pressed her paws intot he sand; it felt good to her. The cooling temperature soothed her paws. She really wanted to go swimming again. Her tail thumped quietly on the sand in excitement. Maybe joining this pack thing was a good thing; she'd make herself worthwhile, possibly meet some new friends, if she was lucky enough she'd maybe find a mate... She shook her head. Friends and job first, mates later. She smiled happily at Tawny, her tongue lolling in her open maw.
Her nostrils flared as she caught the scent of fish. A sound gurgled from her stomach. She looked hopefully at tawny, but waited patiently for an answer. The salty sea air freshened her lungs, and the waves lapping on the shore seemed to be calling her. Oomara's copper orbs gazed longingly at her home.

She could only smile widely when Mari thought the idea was a lovely one. That was good, seeing as it was Nelio's goal to find others who believed they were worth something more in this world. It was reassuring to hear her tell the female that the idea was a good one and that it was not a bad one or a stupid pipe dream, as Nelio had put it. Tawny had to reassure him that the dream was worth carrying out. After all, he had given up his beta position in the Clan just to do it. She felt the same way about how inactive the Clan was being and that there was really no reason for them to be there anymore. She had practically begged him to allow her to help out with creating the group. "Of course you can join. I'm sure Nelio won't mind. Members are probably one of the most important things we need right now."
Tawny listened to her stomach growl and she herself smelled the fish in the water. She also saw the hopeful look on her face. "Go ahead and go fishing, Mari. I'll call for Nelio." She stood up and walked a few feet away, unsure if Mari had gone into the water yet or not. She did not care at that moment. The thought of a new member was exciting and she simply had to let Nelio know. She threw her head back and released her beautiful voice into the sky, calling out to her friend. 'Nelio, my friend, I am on the beach! I have a friend with me as well. Please come to us!' Her call came to an end and her voice cut off. She stood there on the beach, eyes scanning it. In the next few moments, all she could do was wait for him to arrive.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,500,true] | [bg=00c5cd] Lio had spent the night running through the sand, working out his leg muscles, the best way to do that would be with some resistance walking and he could not think of a better way to walk through something resistant, except to walk through sand. By the time he flopped down on the sand his legs were throbbing but he managed to look nearly normal walking on land. Then again he had also had plenty of practice during his times of travel to and from the swamp to the cove, and during the traveling he had done with his family. It was underneath the stars and snuggled in the sand that he let the waves wash over him, the sand and sat scrubbing at his skin and pelt, and bringing his tail to life. Under the moon and stars his tail, looking like that of a mermaid flopped him completely in to the water.
Happiness and joy surged through his heart as he leapt out of the water, and turned his body before landing back in the waves. It would seem like forever that he rode the waves, his tail powerfully pushing him on his way through the depths, and up in to the air before splashing back down. He howled, and barked for joy when he hit the air, his chest feeling as though it was burst with all the activity, but he could feel his muscles growing stronger with each leap, and he could feel his love for the cove in every ounce of water and each grain of sand that tumbled over his pelt and tails.
It had been early morning when he waddled off into one of the shallow caves that dipped inward to flop down and sleep as he was weary. He idly wondered how things were going with Tawny and if she had had better luck than he had with saying goodbye. He had sat there for the longest time looking for Sun chaser and had gotten no response, and he just had a nagging pit in the bottom of his stomach that she would have no more luck than he had. He curled his tail around himself and soon knew nothing but darkness as he slept to the sounds of the waves crashing ashore.
Soon however, the afternoon sun was peeking into his makeshift den, and the sparkles coming off his blue flecks and speckles within his natural coat glittered in the sun. He was now completely dry, and as he awoke his legs stung from their workout the day before. Grimacing with his maw he hesitantly made his way to the outside beach and stared out over the water. It was truly beautiful here and he hoped every place he and Tawny went would have it’s own majestic beauty like the Cove. It was in the middle of this reverie that he heard Tawny’s call for him and he smiled and turned, and would have taken off running to the call if he wasn’t so sore.
With a smile on his face he walked up the beach until he saw her brown form in front of him…and someone apparently close to her. For a moment his face frowned in dismay, had she brought someone from the Clan? Who had she befriended? Curiosity got the better or him and when he did arrive in front of her, he smiled and snuffled her shoulder in a friendly way. “Welcome back to the beach Tawny, how did going back fair?” His eyes watched Tawny more carefully as she answered, and when she was done he turned to the other female Cael. Very pointedly he spoke once more, “Who is your new friend? Would they care to introduce themselves?” He nodded his head slightly, ears cocked, “I am the famous, or rather infamous Nelio, or simply Lio…”

Narration "Talking"
The Cael wagged happily as Tawny dismissed her to catch some fish, but she did not want to leave her new friend. She listened to the brown female's call, and looked around as a brown-ish male wolf walked out to Tawny and nuzzled her shoulder. Mari looked at the wolf he claimed himself as Nelio, and took a breath as he spoke to her. His response sounded slightly sharp in her ears and she lowered her gaze submissively. He was very handsome, she realized, but would not say or make it noticeable.
"Oh I'm sorry please excuze my manners. My true name is Oomara, but I'd like to be called Mari if that's all right. I found Tawny laying here on the shore and just wanted to see what she was doing..."
She raised her eyes to look into Lio's silver ones; she gasped quietly for they were beautiful and intriguing to her. The shy blue Cael took a few steps behind Tawny as if to hide but gazed back at the male Cael, her copper orbs level. But Mari beingMari, her eyes shifted to the waves lapping on the shore that seemed to be calling her name. She took a few steps back and headed to her flat shale stone that was always warm and laid down upon it; the rock warm and dry beneath her pelt. It's warmth seeped into her skin and she lowered her head to her paws, watching the other two wolves that seemed like very old friends.

Tawny's eyes scanned the beach for her companion, then her tail picked up its wagging speed when she finally saw him. She barely saw the smile on his face, meaning he was somewhat glad to see her, then she spotted his momentary frown when he laid eyes on Mari. She had feeling it would probably go over this way. However, she just wanted to give the young girl a home and it could be with them. Members were an important start when beginning a group such as theirs. She was lucky she had come across the female on the beach. Well, it was more along the lines that Mari had come across her. After all, she seemed to get the drop on her by approaching out of the blue.
She smiled at Nelio when he approached them, then snuffled her shoulder in a friendly way. She gave his shoulder a light nudge in return, greeting him with a small yip. It was in those moments that her excitement began to get the better of her. She could not wait to begin planning. Her smile, however, turned to a frown when he asked how returning to the swamp had fared for her. She fought the tears. "Not so well, I'm afraid..." She paused for a moment to sniffle, then pushed all the emotions away. She did not want to embarrass herself in front of her friends. It was a disgracing thing to her. "I stayed the night there and I called for Sunchaser, as well as my sister, but no one came. I waited for awhile, but there was nothing. I returned today so that I would not keep you waiting."
Tawny made no move to speak when he asked who Mari was, so she left the young Cael to answer for herself. She did so, saying her real name was Oomara, which the brown furred female found very pretty. Mari was a good nickname for her. She smiled softly as she seemed to be flattered by Nelio's presence, then tried to hide behind her. She seemed to regain herself and then returned to her shale slate that she had been laying on earlier. The female was aware of Mari watching them from that stone and she gave her a small smile, then returned her attention to Nelio. There were so many things that needed to be discussed. She did not know if Mari could help out with things or not, but she was sure that the female was say something if she wanted to be involved. The former Teacher would not stop her.
Her copper flecked, silver eyes rested on Nelio's face. "I am sorry if you disagree with my accepting her into the group. I only assumed that members would be a good thing to gain since the group is new and needs to be started in some way." She bowed her head low to the male, then lifted it back up. She was apologetic that she had done something that would have been better off going by him first. However, she felt as though she could not turn Mari away. There were only so many things the female could tolerate. Turning away a nice Cael like Mari was not something she would stand. She didn't want to turn the female away and she hoped Nelio wouldn't either. "Anyways... The planning begins here, does it not? What is the first thing we must attend to?"

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,500,true] | [bg=00c5cd] Lio watched the other, seemingly younger female carefully, it was not a trust issue, it was simply that Lio had a lot on his mind. As she lowered her head he quizzically looked at Tawny..”There is no need for that here Mari. I am not your alpha, nor your dominant wolf. We are all just travelers here, Gypsies if you will..” He watched her intently watching him, and he tilted his head, Lio knew he was attractive but he usually did not get such a powerful reaction so quickly. Within moments of meeting him the other female was off to the water, and a rock she seemed to enjoy, and so Lio shrugged. She could be caught up when he and Tawny actually figured something out.
He was content when Tawny nudged his shoulder in a return greeting and he smiled, and settled down next to her, returning her yip with a small bark of his own to show his enthusiasm for seeing her. When she began to tell him of her experience when she tried to say goodbye his heart went out to her. She had family in the pack at least…he did not. He could only guess how hard it would be for her to leave a place where her sister remained, and she did not even get to say goodbye…”You did not have to worry about keeping me waiting, we might as well remain in the cove until we get some planning done, so if you’d like to make another trip back to try to find your sister there will be no harm done, I have found a nice den over there…” He nodded his head in the direction he had came..”It has a wonderful view of the water but is set far enough back that you don’t get unrepentantly wet during high tide..” He smirked and looked at her once more as she seemingly lost her emotions..
His eyes turned to Mari for a moment while she lay away from them, and he placed a genuine smile on his maw for her, and nodded to her to let her know she was within his attention as well as Tawny’s. Neither of them had any intentions of ignoring her, and she welcome to come back when she was done fishing or whenever she would like…When Tawny began to speak again the male turned and looked in to her eyes as she spoke with the tone of a teacher, and an older female who had obvious maternal instincts. “I am not upset about you bringing her along with you, you are right, it’s good to start off with members first with this group we are trying to make. Plus the more members we have the more of a show we can put on. Have you given her the basics or are we just going to inform her as we come up with things?"
“I suppose the first thing we need to attend to is what we can all offer in terms of entertainment. I am not so much a singer in front of people, but I could easily announce and enthrall people with my looks and voice. I guess that makes me like a ringleader of sorts. I have also been experimenting with some moves in the water that might be of some entertainment, but routines would have to be established among members. Like if you and Mari wanted to do an act, you two would have to practice. We could act out like dances or plays in the water without words, or add in songs. Like you and I could do a tragic romantic dance, or song while we are in the water…ideas like that. This is why you were right members are very important. The more members we have the more acts we can do without us each doing all the performances. We could have like you and Mari do something like clownish but gracefully sloppy..” He didn’t know if he was making sense but he knew they needed an idea pool to draw from.
“We will probably need to spend a lot of time in the Cove practicing, and coming up with new acts, and songs, and ideas. The area is perfect for diving and practicing and attracting members. After we get the acts down, the order and possibly another member or two then we can work out where we can travel to, and in which directions we wish to take. Its important we have all our ideas down now so we don’t know to spend unnecessary time in pack lands coming up with things. I think most packs will grant us immunity, I just don’t know for how long…What do you think? What are your ideas?”

Jade had been doing nothing in the swamp for weeks, she kept up with her duties as beta but once those were done she had nothing left to do than swim, hunt or just lay around. So she had decided to take a break from the murky waters of the swamp and take a walk down to the cove were she would be able to swim to her hearts content and feel the salty wind on her face. She wondered were her sister was or what she was doing, she had called out to her awhile back but she had gotten no reply so she had grown a bit worried.
And just as if on command she spotted pawprints in the mud aswell as her sisters scent leading out of the territory. She brightened up a bit as now she knew that she could be easily followed but at the same time she was curious at to where or why she was leaving the territory. The prints were headed towards the cove aswell so she assumed that Tawny was headed there for the same reason she was.
She had quickened her pace to a run a firm pace straight towards the cliffs. Her strong legs was something she took pride in, while most other caels are clumsy on land she was as good as any other wolf. The closer she got she noticed a few other scents hanging in the air. One she knew as Nelio's but the other one, a female cael, was a mystery to her. But she would soon find out, she neared a point of the cliff and looked down and on the beach she saw her sister sitting beside Nelio and the other female cael sitting on a flat stone not far apart. It looked as if they were discussing something and with that curiousity nagged at her. So with a great leap she jumped off the cliff plummeting towards the sea's water.
The impact was harder than she thought due to her height but it was quickly nummed by the the cold water and as her back legs became transformed into her odd tail. She broke the surface and began to swim towards the group and a swift speed. She glided upon the water her golden fin wings resting on the surface of the water and her emerald tail beating the water. She soon was close to them calling out as she finally pulled herself up on the shore beside Tawny. "Hello, what are you guys doing here in the cove on this fine afternoon? And I believe introductions are in order don't you think? I am Jade and who might you be?" she gave a friendly smile as she adressed the female cael.

[scrolly:h(421), w(340),sy] The blue female continued to watch the two; Nelio laying close beside Tawny and giving a small cry of enthusiasm. An unknown feeling to her bubbled calmly in her stomach. Startled she sat up and gazed out into the ocean. What is this feeling? She asked herself. It bubbled even more roughly when he gave her a smile even though he seemed more interested in Tawny. Could this be what they call jealousy? No, she wasn’t jealous. She couldn’t be. If they were a couple that was up to them but dependant Mari needed someone too… maybe more information on this travelling Cael group would give her something to lean on… her mind shifted back to his words.
“No need for that here Mari. I am not your alpha, nor am I your dominant wolf…” maybe that’s what she needed. Someone to pull her back down to earth like no others have done. But then a shot of fear struck her; what if they throw her out like her family did? Telling her that she was nothing and didn’t deserve to live? Maybe she was a useless wolf… Silver tears dripped off her muzzle into the water as she thought about her old home and family. Well, at least what was. Maybe she wasn’t supposed to join in on this thing they had planned; being a loner was simple and the norm for her. She shook her head. “You need to do something else besides mope! Maybe you will find someone in the group for you!” The cael spoke to herself. Even if he had more than one female she wouldn’t care; all she needed was somebody to love. Glancing back at the two, she observed quietly.
“Good lord! How many other wolves are coming?”Mari thought to herself as she heard another Cael splash through the water. Her copper orbs darted to check out the other female; she had a strange emerald green tail and a blue stripe down her spine. Oomara tilted her head; how much stranger were these people going to get? The other female’s mouth just spewed; she blinked blankly as a few questions fired rapidly from her mouth. When she addressed Mari, she lowered her head in a bow.
“My name is Oomara. You have a very nice name, Jade.” When the female gave her a friendly smile, her tail beat on the sand and she stood up to walk clumsily over to the group. Laying on the other side of Nelio she Listened intently to the conversation; or tried to. She kept her eyes locked with Jade’s and Tawny’s, almost too afraid to look into the male’s.

With most of what was said by Nelio, Tawny could only nod to his words. He wasn't the alpha or anything, the group was just a bunch of gypsies. There was no problem with that. However, Oomara's reaction to her male friend almost irritated the brown female. It was almost completely unnecessary. Sure, he was attractive, but she didn't see a reason for her to react so strongly to him. She returned to listening when he said she did not have to worry about keeping him waiting, then spoke of that they would more than likely be staying here until things were organized. In a sense, he gave her permission to say goodbye again if she wanted. She would be sure to try at least once more, for the nagging in her heart for Jade was too strong to ignore. He then spoke of her bringing Oomara. "I've given her the basics. Just what the group is basically intended for. She doesn't know much more than that."
She listened intently as he basically explained the first order of business would be seeing what they could offer in terms of entertainment. That was an understandable thing to begin with. Acts would be an important thing to go over, especially since they would require hours of practice until the act was gotten down as flawless. Yes, Tawny was just a bit of a perfectionist, but even she knew that there would be problems in practicing the performances. There could even be flaws when performing in front of packs themselves. That would probably make her angry, but she had to keep her cool. She thought of doing an act with Oomara. Perhaps something along the lines of a beauty act would take place there. When he said something about the two of them doing a tragic romance act in the water, she blinked a little in surprise, not really expecting something like that. She didn't mind it, but...a romance thing was just weird to her. Love was something that had avoided her for awhile.
She understood what he was saying perfectly. She was not a dumb Cael, hence her reasons for being a Teacher, but she did wonder if they could really make this work. Starting something like this was hard, there was no doubt about that. She sighed, deciding to share her opinion when he asked for it. "I think your ideas are lovely. They're very good and substance can be put into them even further. Most packs should grant us immunity, yes, but I think it would be a good idea to make sure we are always near water just in case we need an escape route. I also have a bit of an idea about ranking, but only to keep order in the group." She wanted to make sure he understood that she did not want to give each wolf a specific rank. "I think there should be something along the lines of a Ringleader, an Organizer, and the rest will be the performers. The ringleader can guide us, the organizer can organize the acts and things like that, and the performers are the...well, performers. Their input should be taken into consideration when putting acts together, though."
In that instant, she head a massive splash in the water and turned her head. She didn't see anything at first, but then she emerged from the surface of the water, seeming to glide across it as she came at the brown female. Tawny was off her haunches as soon as the female made it to shore and came to her. "Jade!" She cried happily, nuzzling her sister's face. She grinned widely, ignoring the questions that she directed to Oomara and the answer the blue Cael had given. She didn't even notice when Oomara came to sit beside Nelio, she was just too happy to see her sister there. She stepped back, her tail wagging excessively. She was bound to hit someone with it eventually. "Jade, we're here planning the start of our traveling group of Cael performers. I didn't get the chance to tell you this is the reason why I left the Clan."

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,500,true] | [bg=00c5cd] He was listening to everything going on around him, intending to give his full opinion but it would seem they would be joined by yet another Cael. Lio was astonished there were already four of them in one place, he wondered if more would come and join them, having heard their calls to each other, or had the word already gotten out about their plans? He was having this thought as Jade pulled herself onto the shore and sat beside Tawny. He knew Jade from his time in The Cove but not extensively. He simply smiled and nodded to her and with a gentle voice said, “Hello again Jade, it’s always a pleasure to see you be it here or anywhere else..”
Out of the corner of his eye he had seen Mari cry…and speak gently to herself. But instead of leaving his conversation to comfort her he simply stared at her and when he could try to catch her eye he motioned for her to come sit nearer to them. She could be a part of their discussion by no means was it off limits to any and everyone else. When she finally did come and lay down next to him he gave her a friendly nip to her shoulder, if anything to show her he was affectionate with those he considered close friends, and if she was to join their endeavor they would all be close.
He turned his attention back to Tawny and waited for Jade’s questions to be answered before he began to address the things Tawny had spoken of. “Well this group experience is going to be a lot of learning for any and all members even the two of us. There will be a lot of trial and error and mistakes are going to happen whether we like it or not. The faster we accept that the easier it will be to accept it when it happens. Perfectionism is going to be something nearly unobtainable, even when working by yourself it is hard to get so take that in to mind with each idea you come up with.” He seemed intentionally looking at Tawny when he spoke these words because he could see her processing everything he said very intently, and he could almost hear her wheels clicking in her mind.
He then took his turn listening to her and what she had in the way of offering an opinion as to what he had said. He nodded when she stated they might need an escape route however he had to voice the truth once again. “We must also be prepared for the fact that water may not always be available..During out time of practice we need to not only prepare our tails to be muscular and our swimming to be fast we also need to work on strengthening our legs. There may come a time where we need to run and no member should be without some form of escape be it water or your own legs. While we may be loyalty to each other we have to decide just how loyal we are. Is anyone here going to lay down their life for anyone else? If we are being chased and someone is not fast enough how would you help? Or would you?”
Unfortunately these questions needed to be asked, this small group needed to know how far they could trust and depend on each other when it came to the nitty gritty because they may not always be able to swim away. Lio held Tawny’s eyes for a long moment, he even looked into Jade’s and then finally turned to look into Mari’s eyes. He waited a moment before continuing letting that thought sink in with all of them. He had listened to her state that some ranking system should be implemented and he agreed whole heartedly with this. “Perhaps, because I am so charming, and witty and more willing to use my voice I will take the position of Ringleader if there are no objections?” He smiled, joking around with the first half of his statement while he looked at them. “Secondly I think you Tawny should be the organizer you were the second member to join, and I see you really have a way of trying to think things through in a complete way and I think that would really come in handy with organizing the acts. Plus I know you would be good enough with the performers to take their wishes and inputs into account.”
At this point, he decided to lay back and let the others speak and offer up new ideas and such. It was brainstorming sessions like these that would help them to get on the ball with acts that they could do, and how they could start training their bodies. He was genuinely excited about the idea, they might start small but soon enough he saw the idea just blossoming into something spectacular.
