Jade gave a nod to Nelio and Oomara acknowledging their comments but paying more attention to her sister as she had missed her lots. She smiled when she started nuzzling her and wagging her tail. But became confused after she spoke, a travelling group of cael? What was this all about? Sure it sounded fun but that meant they wouldn't be sticking around and then she may never see Tawny, she would have to leave the clan and leave all her duties behind. Her thoughts were interupted by the sound of Nelio continuing what he must of been talking about before, listing duties and positions and such. She was confused even then, she turned to Nelio when he had finished "I am so very sorry to interupt, but may I ask a short explanation on this subject as I have seemed to arrive at the end or rather in the middle of the conversation. Nothing to detailed is needed s Im sure I will figure it out eventually."
She folded her golden fins so that only her sleek emerald tail was shown then dragged herself further away from the lapping waves and onto the drier sand. She gave a quiet sigh trying to peice together all the information and put it into something that made sense. With this idea of a cael circus came the decision of whether or not she was going to stay in the clan and let her sister leave with the group or to go and stick close to her. And by the looks of it she didn't have much time to decide, if she was to go with the group she would have to travel to the clan to notify Sunchaser before nightfall. Her head was beginning to spin, she mentally shook it then turned back to Nelio awaiting his answer.

My issue is I’m not that good on land…” Mari lowered her head in embarrassment. It wasn’t her fault she was a clutz; she was just too afraid of what could be on land that she didn’t even try to get out and run. She was better in the sea where she belonged. She lifted her head to continue listening. When she noticed her mind start to drift she snapped it back into reality. Rankings; that’s what they were talking about. Clearly she could already tell Lio was the Ringleader and had always been. Tawny was somewhat strict and organized in mind and appearance. She would definitely be the organizer. Plus she had first dibs being the second to join and all.
Performances, performances. She already had about four ideas rushing through her head, imagining what they would look like. And so far they looked amazing. She was a little nervous to put them out there but she did anyways; what did she have to lose?
”I have some really cool ideas for performances and music. I’ve actually taught myself some really cool jumps and stuff. Like my favorite being the logroll dive and some others like the angel spin and aerial slicer…”
If Mari wasn’t careful she would just start blabbering and never give anyone else a chance to talk so she shut up and possibly let the others think about it. She was a creative one; possibly she could be the one coming up with ideas for shows? [/scrolly] | |

[scrolly:h(370), w(340),sy] The points Nelio was making were definitely good ones and they were things she could see happening so easily. She knew being perfect was not something they would come by so easily, but it was just something that had come to cross her mind. She would be the one to make sure practice would occur every day and that they would get the acts down. She wouldn't be too harsh, as that wasn't really her style, but she just wanted things to work out. Hard work was something that needed to happen in order for that to work. "I realize that perfection is not something we can come by. However, hard work is essential when trying to obtain it. I don't expect practices to be perfect, but it would be nice if performances were flawless. That is my only concern about the acts. I also don't wish to push anyone too far, especially if they can't do something. All fears and abilities need to be taken into account. That's what makes this hard."
It was true that water would not always be available, but there wasn't really any place in the lands that there wasn't water. Besides, for most acts water was rather essential. Ice could be used as well, but she didn't think that there was an act they could do without water. However, being land oriented would help them greatly. Her legs weren't that strong at all, as she spent most of her time in the water, but she would make sure she'd run in the sand a few times a day. Sand was hard enough to move around in as it was, learning to run in it was another. It would definitely help. "That's understandable. I suggest running laps on the beach a few times a day. That would probably help strengthen our legs greatly. Nothing like running on sand and trying not to fall flat on your face." That was Tawny's attempt at being funny. "But...I would give up my life for anyone. If we are going to travel together, then we are to act like family. That is one of the only ways to survive."
Tawny laughed at his comment on charms and whatnot, grinning widely. "I have no objections at all. Your charm and wit should get a headliner and everything. Your own cave and whatnot, no?" She chuckled at her own words. "No, I'm kidding. I don't have any objections. I was about to nominate you myself." As he continued to speak, she was surprised to hear him say something about her being the organizer. What he said about her ability to think things through so well made her skin burn. She didn't really like receiving compliments, they were strange to her, but she held herself back from saying anything. "I don't have a problem taking that position." She then listened to Oomara as she spoke how she could do several moves in the water. "I'm sure you have good ideas, Oomara. However, I think its best if we stick to three ranks. Ringleader, Organizer, and Performer. Everyone should be able to input their own ideas and opinions about things. I think acts should be left up to a group meeting and coming up with them, then organizing them into a performance."
She almost didn't want to tell Jade she was leaving the Clan for the purpose of making this group, but she had to for the sole purpose of getting past it. Whether her sister wanted to come or not was her choice, not Tawny's. She desperately wanted to tell her she should come, but she would not make decisions for her sister. "Jade... Nelio and I have left the Clan to make this group. I didn't want to leave you without saying goodbye, but I couldn't find you anywhere. We'll be traveling about the pack lands and performing for them for immunity. That way we can travel through their lands and such without getting attacked. I'm sorry, Jade, but there's nothing for me in the Clan anymore..." Tawny looked away from her sister as she went away from the water, her gaze somber. She didn't want to leave her sister, but Jade's actions depended on the beta female's choice. Tawny could only hope she would either come with her or they could part on good terms.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,500,true] | [bg=00c5cd] There was so much going on in Lio’s head it was hard to distinguish where everything should go, and the more everyone talked and tried to figure things out he found that all the voices seem to blend into different pitches and tempos. It was like a dysfunctional melody, and he knew for a few long moments his eyes were glazed over and he was obviously somewhere, anywhere else. In the long list of things seemed to float away on the water before them. When Jade spoke he seemed to snap out of his reverie, but instead of answering her he instead turned and laid his eyes on Tawny. It would be better if her sister told her how things would be and then she could let her make her own decisions. While Lio would gladly welcome another or more Cael his mission was not to take the Cael from other packs, only to offer some joy and light to other wolves while providing a purpose for himself and others beyond the day to day grind of pack life.
In the small silence between answers he spoke directly to Jade, “Perhaps it would be better if your sister, Tawny were to explain it, and then by all means you could take however much time you need to decide on your own plans. While I and the others would surely welcome more members into the group, I will not lie to you, it will probably never be an easy life, full of traveling and possible dangers. If you choose to stay you like the rest of us will have to practice, become stronger, say your goodbyes and contribute in one form or another.” Having said his peace he would give Tawny the floor to explain to her what was happening and what decision Tawny had made. He saw the bond between the two Cael and it made him smile, family was so precious and he did not want to be responsible for breaking them up, nor did he wish to be responsible for taking them both away from a pack either. The decisions would weigh heavily on them all.
When Mari began to speak he smiled and turned to give her the full weight of his stare and attention. “That is a very noble answer. I know many Cael are not used to traveling on land…and I do believe we can alternate between traveling in rivers and nearby water sources, it does not all have to be land travel. But I also believe we are much safer in numbers than we are alone, so don’t be afraid..” He could not promise that they would never come across dangerous situations or paths, but he could promise if they were all dedicated to a cause then they had at least a little less to worry about. When Mari began to tell them that she had found some interesting moves his ears perked up. “I think we would all benefit from the things you have taught yourself Mari, maybe when we all get in the water you could show us?”
He liked that she felt comfortable enough to tell them she had ideas and wanted to contribute, that was utterly important. When Tawny took her time to speak he listened intently as well. Considering he was the second Cael enlisted he knew she deserved his full attention just like the rest of the females. “It will be hard Tawny, and I have a feeling no performance will be flawless, even hunters who have been hunting for years miss a catch here and there due to distractions, weather and things beyond their control. I admire your dedication to the cause, and your ability to see that fears and abilities will play a major role in what each Cael can do.”
He chuckled at her attempt of humor when running in sand but the truth was he saw each of them falling time and time again. Heck there were land wolves who hated walking in sand or snow, it made walking ten times harder. But he nodded his head, “Walking through the sand, and taking a partner and climbing the cliffs would not be a bad idea either, plus we can help each other with dives.” His chest puffed out at her talking about his own cave and headliner. Well of course, he was Nelio after all. He looked at all the other wolves to see if they agreed and were unanimous.
He nodded to Tawny about keeping the ranks down in number, after all they were not a pack, they were a traveling bunch of gypsies, they only needed one leader to lead them in travel, and through the acts, and one organizer who placed things where they needed to go. Looking back at Mari he smiled, “I think ever wolf who performs has an equal voice, Tawny’s job would simply be to oversee completion and make sure that performances can all run smoothly together. You will always have a voice here..” His metallic silver eyes burned into the smaller female’s with charm and acceptance before he turned back to Tawny.
It was a hard thing to see Tawny talk about her leaving the Clan, especially to her sister, but she did it just like she talked about the ranks, with class, firmness and professionalism. She stated quite bluntly that there was nothing there for her anymore, and Nelio respected that. Sometimes it took a lot to say goodbye, or say that something was not working out for you. Those with real courage and heart were like them, making the move to make changes for themselves. He turned to Jade, and with a gentle, but blank face he waited for her answer to her sister’s explanation.

Jade gave a nod to Nelio then turned to her sister giving her a lick on the cheek before she spoke. "Well wherever youre going Im going, Ive already lost you once Tawny Im not ready to lose you again." She smiled then gave Tawny another lick then turned back to Nelio "Im in. I can be of a great help and it does sound like fun. I can do the travelling on land aswell as in the water as my legs are as strong as my tail. I have many abilities that I feel could work for the best as I do believe all of us have." She finished with a nod and turned back to see her tail disappear and replaced with her legs.
She got up and walked further up the shore away from water so as not to get wet again, she then sat down and started to make a list of things she needed to do. She needed to notify Sunchaser of her absence then she would probably have to learn a few things and such about the performers before the acts started. Her thoughts trailed off as she waited for the group to continue with organizing.

Oomara listened quietly, forgetting to keep track of what was happening. Things just kept fading in and out for her. Way too much being said and planned, and she was starting to get overwhelmed. Another reason she liked being a loner; less talk and more action.
Mari lowered her gaze form the male cael as his eyes burned into her own copper ones. She didn’t like being stared at squarely; it kindof scares her. She avoided their gazes entirely. She kept her eyes on her paws and mind in the clouds like normal. She somewhat heard what was going on; Tawny explaining why she left the clan to Jade and Jade telling them she was in. Okay, more females. Fun. Her ears flattened slightly but perked back up to hide it.
I doubt I’ll ever be able to keep up… and now that I think about it my ideas don’t seem very good….
She mumbled to herself, not quite silently but not too loud as to the others possibly understanding her. With how close she was to Lio she wouldn’t be surprised if he understood her; she scooted back and away slightly. After a moment she turned away from the group to go for a swim; leaping into the water she swam downwards to gain speed upwards in a jump. At the last minute she decided the first trick was her logroll dive.
Angling her body a certain way she burst from the water, her body spinning rapidly and gracefully. Her legs and fins were all tight against her body for more aerodynamic form. Closing her eyes she shifting her head and weight back downwards and split the water easily with little splash as she re-entered the water. Repeating her deep dive and preparation, she was determined to try her angel spin.
Leaping from the water she went straight upwards, her body spinning in perfect rhythm. At the peak, she spread out her fins and forelegs were bent close to her chest, and the mist flying from her pelt somewhat looked like wings behind her. A beautiful sight that was. Twisting her body sharply she dove straight back down into the water. Diving deep she prepared herself one more time. She was getting tired yet the adrenaline pumping through her veins gave her extra energy.
Jumping out at a certain angle, she headed towards the shore at a very quick speed. Almost as if she was flying. The blue cael looked similar to a blur. Her wide finned tail made a whistling sound as it sliced the air. Smiling, she rolled onto shore and leapt up into an upright standing position. In her roll her tail shifted back into her leg form. Shaking out her pelt she raised her head in a motion of ta da!

[scrolly:h(370), w(340),sy] The golden scaled female prayed that everything would go well with her sister. While it was true that she did not want to lose Jade again, it was not her choice in the matter as to whether or not the girl was coming with them. It was all up to how her head worked and how she wanted to take her life. Giving up a beta position was hard, but she wondered if family was more important to her. As she waited for an answer, Tawny reminisced on the day she had lost Jade. She remembered the swimming in the river to practice with their tails. It was Jade's turn in the water and Tawny had been taking a break beside her parents when the storm hit. The dam behind Jade had broken and she was swept down the river and off the edge of a waterfall. Tawny had screamed so loud for her that she had lost her voice for the next several days. Then Tawny went to the Clan, and it was there that they were reunited.
She was all too glad to receive a lick from her sister, then her words reaching her ears were like sweet music. It was something she had wanted to hear, something she had only been able to picture in her head at first. But to actually hear them was something else, something much better than just pretending to have heard them. A smile graced her lips as she returned Jade's lick, "I don't want to lose you again either... Thank you, Jade." You could say the Cael was all too overjoyed when her sister agreed to be part of it all. As she watched her sister get farther from the water to get her thoughts straight, Tawny's tail began to wag excessively. It beat against the sand and scattered it in all directions. It accented her smile, and not to mention the pure joy she felt upon hearing her sister's answer to this.
She had heard everything that Nelio had been saying, but was too wrapped up with her sister to notice that he had finished. By the time she looked back, Oomara was in the water and swimming. Tawny watched with a renewed interest at the female as she burst suddenly from the surface and tightened her appendages against her body, allowing the air to run around herself better. She spun rapidly as she sailed through the open air, probably making a couple of them dizzy. Tawny tried not to focus on the spinning and give herself a headache. Instead, she paid more attention to how it made the girl look. It was a useful trick, and it was impeccable, to say the least, especially the way she spread her fins and legs at the peak. Almost gave her the impression that the blue Cael was flying. Tawny smiled when she hit the water and propelled herself onto land, shifting back to lupine form.
"Brilliant!" Tawny yipped, the wheels in her head having been turning right from the start. It seemed like an automatic thing, as though it never shut off. With a grin, she stood and took a few steps towards the female, standing almost directly in front of Nelio, but just slightly past him. "That was excellent, Oomara. I can see how that trick could be used in many ways, and with more than one wolf. Can you imagine how fantastic that would look if two wolves were to do it at the same time? What if they were close to one another and spun around each other, then spread their fins and legs when at a safe enough distance away?" The female bounced around slightly in where she stood, the grin on her face seemingly never-ending. Everything just seemed perfect to her right now. "Oh my, I'm getting so excited about this already!"
OOC: Ahaha, Tawny's a silly girl. xD

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,500,true] | [bg=00c5cd] Lio felt as though the time for talk had ended, they were clear on what the group needed: Members, acts, strength to travel and loyalty to each other. Those were the main things they needed, the few ranks and jobs had been assigned and so far each of them were willing to put in the commitment to the group. Most besides Jade had said their goodbyes, and now it was time to act. He had heard the small murmur from Mari and he sighed inwardly. He hoped that in time her confidence would build, perhaps with more members, or more traveling. He did not know how it would affect her that she might not be fast, but really none of them might be extremely fast no matter how much they trained. They were different than other wolves and because of those differences traveling would be different for them.
The reunion between Jade and Tawny and their promise to always be together and not lose each other again was touching. It actually made Lio’s heart murmur and beat for the family he no longer had, the sister he had lost. It was what his life was made up of apparently, saying goodbyes and being forced away from those he cared about. He knew now that joining the Clan had been a very quick way he thought he could get his family back, or at least start a new one, but with time he knew that was not what he wanted. He wanted a family, yes that much was still true, but he also wanted to experience life for as long as he could. The fact that they now had four members was a good start to something that could be excellence.
It would seem Mari shared his thoughts that there had been enough talk for everyone because he watched as she jumped into the water and began to swim. As she leapt in to the air, his breath caught in his chest and came out in a long whooshing sound of approval. Her form was excellent and he knew if only for her own reassurance she was showing them what she could do, instead of trying to explain it. Her next set of movements has his heart racing, he could not wait to get into the water himself and attempt some kind of move like that although he knew it would take time to get even the basics of it down. Soon he saw her fin and that she was racing towards land.
It was impressive, she was impressive and he backed up on the sand and bowed his head to her. “I agree with Tawny, your display was breathtaking, I am sure you could entertain crowds all on your own Mari!” His mind did agree that the move would be complete with a few more wolves with excellent timing…”That was exactly what we needed, the time for talk is done let’s all get into the water and show the others what we are capable of, and what potential we have, because that is just as important as anything else!” Standing and shaking slightly, now that he was nearly covered in sand thanks to Tawny he made his way into the water.
His legs immediately changed, and he grimaced, no matter what age Cael you were or how often you made the change it ran the gambit from unpleasant to well and truly painful. He submerged himself and shook off the sand beneath the water. The light shined through the water and glimmered off the bright blues of his tail and he began to swim in circles, warming himself up by riding the waves. He came in close to the shore and then made his way back. When he was a good distance away he looked toward the shore to see if the others were following…
