[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,500,true] | [bg=00c5cd] The blue speckled male had spent most of the morning sleeping, though it was not due to laziness. He had decided to do most of his practicing at night time and close to dawn, which left him to sleep most of the day. When he awoke half the night was spent running across the dunes and in the sand to stretch and strengthen his legs so that he did not appear quite so clumsy and was stronger to travel. After his legs could take no more of this punishment he lay down in the sand and rested for a while. Then when he felt as though he had regained a little stamina he took his rubbery legs to the small forest and hunted what game there was to be had. Because of the traffic that came to the cove he sometimes had to go out of his way to find anything so much as a hare.
However, the running, exploring and even hunting were preparing him for the journey ahead. He hoped the females were training and trying as hard as he was though he knew their journey together might be short. Some wolves were loners, and they would be loners their entire life, being in a group was not for them. It was also possible that once they saw other lands that were inhabited by a pack the other females were comfortable in, they would wish to end traveling. He mentally prepared himself for the idea that he may indeed end up doing this by himself. He would never deprive one of the female’s from their happiness but it would be sad to lose those you had grown close to.
Having found a rather large rabbit he enjoyed the taste of land animal, nearly as much as fish at this point. There were some key differences, one being that ocean fish and creatures were saltier and seemed to have their own unique blend of tastes. While land prey seemed more earthy and fatty. He had sat in the dark, the moon shining down on him and his dinner as he ate in silence. For as many wolves as he scent up and down the beach on his escapades he found it rather interesting that he did not run into any of them, in fact since their meeting he had not seen Tawny, Jade or Mari either…Not that he would track them down but a hint of worry did nag his mind. They were not that far from the Mafia territory…
The beach may have seemed safe but with unscrupulous wolves running around, it was dangerous from males and females alike. That was another reason he had picked a rather..well hidden den. Because he no longer had the security of a pack, and would be no good in a land fight while he was drying he knew during the early morning and afternoon he would have to be concealed. It was amazing how one’s thinking could change in a matter of days while being on their own. He knew that with time he would further adapt to living without a pack but for right now it felt like a vacation.
Moving back toward the water, or choosing if he should practice diving in, he hit the water either way and quickly lost his land legs. This pain was something that was never completely gone, after all bones were breaking and reforming and the body completely changing. There was pain involved no matter how you sliced it. Once in the water, most of the time during this season it was warm from the sun beating down he spent a few moments splashing and swimming about. But tonight he splashed around for longer, seemingly playing about. It seemed as though he was waiting on something…or perhaps someone..

[scrolly:h(370), w(340),sy] The night was cool, and definitely caused shivers to run down the female's spine as she tread along the cliffs. Up in this area, she felt the full brunt force of the nightly breeze that passed through here. During the day, such a thing was pleasant, but sometimes couldn't be because it carried the heat with it sometimes as well. At night, it was cold and it was only made colder because of being so close to the sea. Though the night was as beautiful as it always was, the caverns of Yvit Cove had always been much more comforting. Honestly, she seriously wished she did not have so much on her mind, or she would have retreated back to the cove and curled up in a little spot to warm herself, then fall into a deep sleep. Sleep...it was something the poor girl needed. Exhaustion was not something she needed right now, especially with helping Nelio.
There were many things on Tawny's mind at the moment, especially the stress of everything going on. She had to think of things, ways for the acts to become organized. Not to mention everything about Jade. She knew here sister had told her that she would come with them, not wanting to lose her again. This she could understand, but she was also aware of Jade holding a beta position in the Clan. She wondered if her sister would be willing to give up a rank like that to take the rank of a performer, the lowest one in this group of gypsies. Nelio held the highest, considering this had all been his idea, and no one had had any objections about him taking the Ringleader position. She had been given the Organizer position, the one who kept the acts straight and gave direction to them all. Oomara and Jade had become the Performers.
Sighing, the brown furred female stopped at the edge of one of the cliffs, spotting something down below in the water. Something was splashing around and she peered closer with her copper flecked, silver eyes. In a moment, she realized who it was and a smile came to her face. It was Nelio, making his nightly rounds apparently. She had come to notice that he did not often train with the others during the day, but did at night. She supposed it would leave him more time to sleep during the day, in the warmth when things were comfortable. She chuckled at the thought and walked away from the cliffs, picking a spot where it would be easy for her to get down them. She did just that, coming to a spot where she had to jump a few feet to land in the soft sand. At the impact, her knees buckled and she collapsed, reminding her of how weak her legs were.
Tawny sighed and got to her feet, dragging herself towards the water. She stayed away from it, not really willing to get wet at the moment. Perhaps she would live with it if she were splashed and pushed into the water, she would live with it and not complain. She just hoped talking to the male or doing something would occupy her, keep her mind off the things she was thinking. She did not want to burden anyone by talking about it, so she believed some training would do her good. Or...something along those lines. She sat down in the sand, allowing the coolness to relax her as her gaze followed her companion as he went in and out of the water. Her voice penetrated the splashes, speaking loud enough for him to hear, hopefully. She spoke only when he was above the water, "Good evening, Nelio. Training, I see?"

[scrolly:h(575), w(340),sy] The night was beautiful, and Zippora loved the way the cool sea breeze played with her poppy red fur almost lovingly. Night was her favorite time, and she'd neede to get away for a bit from her pack lands in the East. Her fiery eyes scanned the horizon, and she noticed two forms far away. Curiosity naggued her, and she decied to approach cautiously: One never knew what kind of dangers lurked here at night.
She breathed a small fireball to light her way, and it floated along beside her, bathing her muscled form in a warm light. It meant the other wolves might see her, but she was an excellent fighter, and was confident in her abilities to defend herself if need be. It was a rather lonely night, and some company wouldn't be bad right now. Zippora would spend the night here, though not on the beach in the open. No, she'd climb back up from the way she came and find a sheltered are on the cliffs most likely.
Soon she came upon them, one Cael swimming in the water, and another sitting on the beach. Zippora approached, though kept her little fireball lit so she could better see who she was talking too, and it offered her some warmth. "Good night, strangers. I am Zippora, a hunter for the Children. What brings you to the beach at night?" She questioned, smiling warmly, her fiery orange and yellow eyes curious. She stated her pack so they would know others would notice she was gone. It wasn't that she thouht these wolves looked malicious, but simply a precaution. It was nice have a pack, wolves to rely on, and especially having her sister back. Zippora was feeling better and less shy by the day.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,500,true] | [bg=00c5cd] There was something so…chilling about the night around them. He was enjoying himself, no doubt the gentle caress of the ocean and it’s sands and salts against his fin was utterly soothing, wiping away any imperfections on his tail of blue. When the slightest bit of light hit it, it gleamed brightly, as did the speckles along her generally natural colored pelt. He could have chuckled even giggled with the sheer sight and motion of the water rocking him into a lovely sleep. That is, if he were tired, because he found himself so much more full of energy at night time, the lulling of the ocean did little more than relax many of his tired and sore muscles.
It was during his play time, that suddenly the scent of another wolf carried on the breezes around him, and he brought himself half way out of the water, with his eyes peering out, almost looking like a hair alligator. His ears went back playfully, having recognized the scent of Tawny! His Coordinator! He watched with concern as he saw her impact with the sand, and even though the normally giving substance gave way when you walked on it, give it a hard impact and for some reason it became more sturdy. He watched her legs crumble from beneath her and almost left the water to check on her. But as with all things she persevered with strength and began to walk over to him.
He called out from the water, “What a lovely thing it is to see you tonight bathed in the moon light we have. What brings you out during the night? I thought I was the only one who came out during the night to train?” Lonely as it was he thought with a now underwater smirk. He was having fun submerging half his face, looking so very ominous he thought. In response to her comment about training he lifted slightly and smiled. “Well I don’t know about training… I feel more playful, and the ocean is helping to carry my worries from my shoulders this night..”
He turned on his back, with his front paws in the air and splashed a little water her way, not enough to hit her, but enough to tease her with the fact that he could if he wanted to. He paddled in a circle in front of her on his back, doing the upside down dog paddle…(Great yoga term by the way) and turned to smile at her, before his eyes caught another light in the distance. He abruptly rode a few waves until he hit the beach and watched the glowing light. A fire would simply be devastating for the Cove and Lio was aware of what he would have to go through to keep members of his own group safe.
However the closer the light came, the less inclined he was to believe it was a fire of any kind. Soon he saw the red pelt of a wolf, assumedly lupus, because she was too big to be a lyxxus. He tilted his head and turned back to Tawny, standing protectively near to her, his tail dragging behind him in the sand. When the she wolf got close enough he listened to her introduction, and smiled nodding his head. “It’s a pleasure Zippora from the Children. I may only speak for myself, but my name is Nelio, and I have no pack, I am Ring Leader for the Cael Circus newly formed. I am here tonight to train, or rather to play..” His eyes turned to Tawny as he waited for her to speak next.

[scrolly:h(370), w(340),sy] Tawny moved away slightly when he sent some water her way, scooting back and farther from the waves. She was not too keen on getting wet at the moment and she'd find a way to stay dry. She smiled at his answer, though. It amused her. Training was the important thing in their situation, but he wanted to play because he felt playful. She supposed she understood...somewhat. Everyone did need a break every now and then, even the most overworked and hardworking of wolves needed one. As she thought about it, she considered joining him in the water. Perhaps it would be good for her to gain some relief from the hot days of training. It would be nice to have the ocean carry the worries from her shoulders, just to have it all lifted and floating away for a few moments. Even if it all came back when it was over, momentary relief was still good.
"No, my friend. I was just taking a walk. You see, I haven't seen Jade in the last few days...and she won't come or respond when I call her. I'm just worried is all. I thought a walk would help me relax a little bit, but it hasn't seemed to do me much good." Generally, she was not one for complaining, but she expressed this concern with him for a reason. Jade was part of their group as well, and it was right to be concerned for her well being, especially when she would not answer to calls and could not be found anywhere. She swallowed the thick lump in her throat, trying to push her worries away from the forefront of her mind to the darkest and deepest hole in her mind that she could find. She just did not want to think about such things at the moment and, as she gazed at the water, she was about to join him.
However, something interrupted the peace when he washed himself upon the beach, staring intently at something that was down the way. Curiously, the female turned her head and spotted a ball of light getting closer and closer. Before the wolf was near enough, Tawny could tell what it was. "A fire Lupus... What would one being doing so close to water?" She mused, more to herself than to her companion. Her ears twitched and she glanced at Nelio when he stood protectively near her, perking her eyebrow. She knew he was smart and protective, possibly from his rank, but she was perfectly capable of defending herself, especially against a fire Lupus. The stranger greeted them, and Tawny offered a smile. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Zippora. A lovely name, you have. You are also rather brave to approach two Cael right by the sea. You are at an obvious disadvantage against us." The brown furred Cael chuckled a little. "But rest assured, harming you is the last thing we'd think of. My name is Tawny, and I am the Coordinator of the Cael Circus."
