[scrolly:h(420), w(340),sy] IC Normal, "Talking!" Thinking Sky was in a panic, in all her two years she had never broken a wing, heck! She had never even sprained a wing, but there she was, hurtling toward the ground at speeds that would have made her poor mother faint. But just 20 or 30 feet before she hit the ground, she hit a tree and managed to dig her claws into the thick bark. Struggling to climb on to the limb she was holding on for dear life, she thought quickly about how bad it would be if she died, and ended up a mangled carcass on the beach. Beach? Where the heck am I? Sky thought, still clinging to the tree. She had been flying toward the Children's Lands, hoping to visit Kasmira, a flower Lupus, when strong winds blew her over here, to the southern lands. Panting, the small, white and gray Keiyou managed to pull herself up on the tree branch. She lay down to rest, when she realized that over in the eastern corner of the sky, there was a large black cloud, coming her way! A winged fish migration! Sky jumped up, and stretched out her wings, ready to fly, when sharp pangs of pain jolted her back to reality. She could not fly, she could not catch fish. She could not get down this stupid tree! Sky, feeling sad and miserable, curled up in a ball. The fish would see her a long ways off, and she had almost no chance of catching something. The buzzing of their wings were the last things Sky heard before she fell asleep. Sky woke up with a jump as thunder boomed. Whimpering, she flicked water off her lion tail, and then shivered. It was pouring rain, Sky had never seen this bad a storm, even in the spring. A bolt of lightning crackled and sizzled down to earth, leaving a tree- only a hundred or so feet away- ashes and cinders. Sky yelped at the sight, but then with a jaw rattling explosion, a lightning bolt struck the bottom of the tree and it fell. Howling in pain as a tongue of fire licked her paw, she raced off, ignoring the pain in her paw and wing. The fire was quenched quickly, and the rain died down in a little while, but Sky felt like it was still raining. She whined and lay down, wishing for the days when she was still in her pack, was betrothed to another Keiyou, and her parents still loved her. Those were the good old days, she thought sadly. But after the 'good old days' came the bad days. When she was imprisoned in a cave, on a mountain, with no food or water except for the meager scraps Wind gave her. Sky remembered when Wind had been imprisoned, and it was her job to feed Wind, and make sure she was ok. But that had all been in the night. In the day, she was happy, romping around with her brothers and her betrothed, but that had all changed when the Chief realized she had been helping Wind, he threw her in the cave and took Wind out. Her parents had cried, but then tried to forget her, her brothers helped her sister, but then slowly changed their allegiance, but Wind still tried. As for her to-be-mate, he had simply stood aside and let the Alpha do what he wanted. Sky laughed, a mirthless, cold, laugh. To think, that she had once experienced love? As she laughed, she thought about her appearance. Beauty was in the eye of the beholder, but as far as Keiyou's went, she had to admit she was pretty, but not glamorous. No, she was just plain old Sky, white and gray, with dove-feathered wings, and a long scar down her flank, with sky blue eyes. Attractive, but not so much that it stopped her betrothed from finding a different Keiyou girl. They had both died though.... Sky whimpered, feeling guilty about surviving the other pack's attack. From what she knew, she was the only wolf that survived. "Lot of good that did me! I'm gonna die on this stupid beach! No food, no healer, no way to get back to the Tundra!" Sky growled. She could try walking to the nearest pack, but she would probably get killed, or the pack could kill her. Besides, where was the nearest pack? Sky had no idea. I guess it's better to stay here on this beach, where I can't see any predators.... She thought. "Yep... I'll just stay here, and maybe someone will find me..." " She fell asleep with a faint smile on her face, alone on the shore of a beach. OOC: Sorry for long post! My muse for her just took over! [/scrolly]

OOC: When I saw the name Kasmira mentioned, I just had to post... ;D [atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,false][atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,450,true] | [atrb=background,http://i1218.photobucket.com/albums/dd415/Somatra1/fbg.jpg]
[scrolly:h(370),w(405),sy] Lightning sizzled and cracked through the dark and cloudy sky, and thunder boomed along with the crashing of the waves, a dangerous song. Rain poured down and the calm sea breeze had now turned into an angry and irritated roar. Yes, it was an angry storm, maybe one of the last of the season, but far below on a beach strolled a white wolf. Rain cautiously approached, soaking her to the bone, unsure of what to make of this strange creature who dared venture forth.
Faye's yellow eyes scanned the beach through the rain, completely soaked, even the blue markings on her paws. She'd been told before that she'd make a nice Lumen, if not for her bright eyes and blue markings, and she smiled at the memory. Her long legs swiftly carried her along the beach, but the lightning kept away as her eyes flashed dangerously: Faye wasn't afraid of storms, in fact she liked them, mostly since she could control them to a certain degree. The new Philia Alliance Advisor had been out for a long walk, a small break from her pack lands, and had decided that the beach would be a nice place to go, maybe even catch a glimpse of the rather handsome Cael, Raynor.
However, he was nowhere to be seen, and the Lupuse understood why as the storm raged. Suddenly her yellow eyes caught a flash of movement hurtling towards the ground, and in a moment whatever it was vanished. The old Faye would have ignored whatever it was and walked away, but the new Faye, the more sociable Faye, knew that whatever it was could be hurt or lost. Probably a Keiyou... She mused to herself, and began to use her lightning powers. Instantly electric bolts covered her from head to toe, energy crackling and sizzling around her, her own personal storm. She lit the way all around her, and cautiously approached a small form on the ground.
She stood near, lighting up the dark day, and looked down on the Keiyou. "Hello. Are you alright?" She asked, her voice smooth and serene, calm and rational. Faye watched her attentively, and waited.[/scrolly]

[scrolly:h(420), w(340),sy] IC Normal, "Talking" Thinking Sky stirred in her sleep. She was dreaming about when she had fought the evil black Keiyou, and she dreamed he was only a inch from her throat. She jumped up, and nearly hit another wolf on the head. "Woah! Who are you? What are you doing here? Do I know you?" A whirlwind of questions jumped up her throat, but she swallowed and said, "Um... I don't mean t alarm you, but we are in the middle of a dangerous storm and should probably get to cover to make sure we aren't struck by lightning.." Her voice was calm, but she peered suspiciously at the wolf. Why the heck would a wolf be wandering around in a storm like this? She wondered. The small white Keiyou did not try to hide her suspicious look, but then she remembered something. "You're a storm or thunder Lupus, right?" That had been the type of power the old crazy Lupus had, she mused, but this female, well was a female, and didn't look very old or crazed. She brushed off the memory and smiled at the Lupus. "Well, you may stand in storms like this with no fear, but I'm afraid I will have to find some sort of shelter or something. By the way, do you belong to any pack? Not the Empire by chance?" She flicked her lion tail and shook her wings, trying to rid them of water, but to no use. A few gray and white feathers fluttered to the wet sand, but the rain stuck firmly to her wings, and she sighed in exasperation. She looked back at the Lupus, who she was interested in, and wondered if they could be friends... She seems nice enough, Sky mused, but then again, she laughed inside, you have met many people who seemed what they are not...[/scrolly]
