[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,500,true] | [bg=00c5cd] This was it, he had come to a decision. Lio had spent many days in the swamp now, doing nothing but thinking. He was beyond bored, and could not fathom this continuing for much longer, while he appreciated the ideals of the Clan he found himself more at the Cove and other territories than he found himself in his supposed home. He sat by the water, looking at all the beautiful flowers and the gentle serenity of the area around him. It was beautiful here indeed but he knew it wasn’t for him. He needed something closer to where he was from, if he wanted to really be in a pack at all.
While it was harder for him to travel being a Cael he had felt the need more than once to go far beyond the boundaries of the Cove or the Swamp, to seek out new places, and new wolves. This wanderlust had become much more than he ever thought it could be and he was no longer content to remain in this small area. He thought about Sunchaser for a long moment, knowing the news may come at a bad time but he was just no longer happy here. It would be sad considering he had joined and she had given him the beta position, but he knew there would be other wolves happy for the position.
It was now, that he was finally dry after his last swim within the swamp water that he stood on the earth below him, claws digging in to the gentle earth. He knew he would have to find Sunchaser, no one else could deliver this message for him, under no circumstance would he allow it either. He was not running from the Clan with his tail between his legs, he was walking away with his head held high because he knew it was right. His chest heaved with a sigh and he began to head to the area where the wolves nested within the roots to try to find his alphess.
The speckles of blue against his coat would give him away before anything else, and his slow, careful steps carried him over many roots, avoiding the water for a reason. He needed to be able to stay dry and move quickly if he had to, when you had a large tail like he did, the likelihood of him moving anywhere quickly was small, and with him wanting to start this journey he knew he needed to be dry and able bodies. He placed his nose close to the ground and tried to smell out sun chaser, he huffed in irritation as it took longer than he had originally thought to come to an area where he knew she had been just previously.
He should have expected that she would be hard to find after all, she had responsibilities, new members, pack structure, and many other things that had to be handled. He had even heard rumors about her mate coming back into the picture and he knew she would in the end have her happiness. Just like he was taking a step more towards his own happiness. It seemed the weight of telling her was bringing him down and making him slow. So for a long moment he stopped and straightened his spine and threw his head up and howled for her to arrive where he was. He was not commanding but rather asking for her appearance, and she would most likely be faster coming then he would be going. Now all that was left was the irritating, anticipatory waiting…

Sunchaser had been darting around the pack a lot mroe then normal latly. Some of her clan mates where leaving and some new ones had arrived. She knew not everyone was right for the clan and because of this she was okay with people leaving if they needed to. Sometimes they found a mate in another pack and sometimes they just needed to find a place that was more like home. She felt a little lost because there where some good members leaving but she knew pack members come and go but the friendships last.
She was currently on the hunt for Chance, wondering where he had gotten to. He seemed to be avoiding her or hiding something from her latly. And she was curious what. However he was still in the clan and so she knew she had nothing to fear but was still curious. Her head lifted as she heard Nelio howl. She tilted her head before taking flight.
She twirled before she landed where Nelios howl came from. She spotted him and trotted over to him. "You called?" She smiled and looked at the cael in front of her. Would he be leaving? She hoped not but she did know the travalers wanderlust herself. If she didnt have responsabilities as the Alphess of the pack she probally would have traveled more.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,500,true] | [bg=00c5cd] Lio was just about to give in and just get going, he had tried and no one could say anything but that when it came to something like this. Before he knew it however his soon to be previous alphess turned around in the sky ahead of him and landed before him. Relief and guilt washed over him but he pushed them aside this would be entirely business. No grief of hard feelings involved at least not in his case. He stood on the root, and met Sun’s eyes with his own, he was not disrespectful even bowed his head slightly in respect as he watched her.
“Yes, indeed I did call you Sunchaser and I appreciate you answering my call. It would have been a sad day indeed if you had not came.” He sighed and looked off into the distance before he spoke again. “I have called you to say I will be leaving the clan…I thought this would be the place for me to settle down and remain but it is not. I have other plans and other dreams and they do not involve staying in one place. While I appreciate everything you have done for me, taking me in, and making me beta male I have just come to the decision I must leave. I will be departing shortly after our conversation, having not really anyone to say goodbye to besides you. I hope with all my heart your pack remains strong despite my leaving and that it thrives…”
With that he straightened his back, and swished his tail slightly from side to side waiting on her answer. In truth no matter what she said he would be leaving, but he would not just stalk off without giving her the proper chance to say her thoughts or goodbyes as well. He felt the ebb and flow of the ocean calling to his heart and he knew the first place he would go would be the Cove, he couldn’t help his love and attraction to the place. His metallic silver eyes watched the keiyou though, waiting on her reaction patiently…at least he looked patient…in his mind he was itchy to get going on to his next adventure.

Sunchaser listened to what he said, tilting her head as his words reached her. She sighed and nodded."I understand Nelio. There are times i wish i could leave but as Alphess its my duty to stay. That and i dont think i could leave this place for long, not anymore."She smiled softly at the male and moved forward, licking him between the ears.
"You are always welcome here Nelio. I do hope you will come and visit."She smiled as she backed up. It was not a full blown smile for it was holding her sorrow as well. She would miss the beta, but she did not hold people to her pack if they did not wish to be there. She would need to find a beta that could take his place. Now her thoughts were swirling with her was able to do the job that he had done.
