General OOC Name: Crow Name: Inaba Moon Alias: Ina, Moon, Hare, Speechless Species: Mortui Gender: Female Age: Four [undead] Pack: Loner Rank: n/a [would like to join mafia]
Physical Height: 35 inches Weight: 90 lbs Appearance: Inaba is a slate grey color from head to toe underneath it all. The only other stray colors that litter her pelt is a stripe of electric blue from the tuft of fur atop her head down to the tip of her backbone, or what's left of it anyway, she also has some stripes down her hind legs that are quickly smeared by her rotting flesh covering the ends near the toes. Two more strips of blue lace the side of her muzzle on both sides but do not connect or cover the top, to finish the electric look she has quite the mane going on on the back of her scruff of her neck and the blue travels halfway down it in the one area. To add, she has a stripe of white that followed under her maw and down underneath her tail.
Poor Inaba does not have a tail anymore or skin and muscle under her bottom jaw [though she has some of the muscles to hold and move the jaw] so her tongue just lolls about, making it quite hard for her to speak properly. Her right eye has been gouged out and all that remains around the rotting hole is a pink scar line down the middle. Her right ear has also suffered as she can barely hear through it, sounds that come out only seem like muffles or underwater speech,it's torn to pieces and has started to rot as well.
Parts on her hind end and the front left part of her chest are where hair is starting to fall out and the exposed flesh is changing colors and soon to rot as well. Her only eye left is a shocking electric blue as well.
Other: Purchasing Hallucinations for her so she looks somewhat presentable to other wolves as a regular lupus.
Mental Strengths: - Quiet
- Polite
- Friendly
- Hallucinations
Weaknesses: - Gullible
- Indecisive
- Flusters a lot
- Tends to stray
Personality: Inaba tends to put up a protective front, especially if her true form is revealed to someone. She tries to hide what she really is by creating illusions that she still has a complete bottom jaw and tail. Since she is still real young and inexperienced she cannot really do much more and sometimes can only fix her jaw. Ina is really shy since she is afraid what other wolves make think of her if they see what she really looks like.
Ina tends to be gullible and easily fooled since she is still young and a bit childish at times. She cannot help it to let people in easily that actually like her. Though she is quick to fluster and come up with suspicions that her only friends secretly do not like her at all. This makes her indecisive and causes her to stray a lot, not being keen on big life changing decisions. Though she is quite used to change since birth.
It is also a lot to get a word out of her cause even with hallucinations she still has a bad lisp since her tongue has trouble staying in place to form words and can give her away. If you can get her to open up though she is quite friendly and polite to her friends and loved ones. It doesn't take much to open her up either if she really trusts you.
History: Inaba's history isn't quite like others. Her and her siblings were born prematurely since their mother's girth rotted through and couldn't hold the weight anymore. Most of them were stillborn since it was too early for them to finish forming. As for Inaba, she was the biggest and healthiest of the soon to be litter and was just barely old enough to live.
As if life was already out to get her, they were the only three mortui in an all lupus pack. The others frowned upon them for being different, for having a 'disease'. For being different. Everyone and even the adolescent pups would pick on her when she was finally old enough to stray from her parents den and out into the world that she believed was so beautiful in her bright blue eyes.
"You're a freak!"
"Yeeeeeaaah! You will be just like your mommy and daddy, have that disease!"
"Ewwww, stay away from her, otherwise you'll lose your powers and catch it!"
They would continually tease her like this. It wasn't so bad, I mean... she was still fully intact and looked like a normal lupus so far. Life was harsh but to Inaba it would change, for the better. One day, not long after she turned around almost two years old. She wanted to prove to them that she was a lupus... that she had a power. She knew her colors meant she had to control something powerful, didn't it? So she traveled to the outskirts of the pack and saw some stray prey. She chased after it and thought hard to try and think what her power was and how to use it.
She had not even realized by the time she opened her left eye that she had tripped onto an erect branch that pierced through her right eye. (The branch wasn't long enough to pierce to her brain just so we know :3) Ina cried out in a howling scream as the numbing pain surged through her body. When she finally moved from where she laid, hoping her eye would magically heal itself when doing so, she ran to the nearest pool of water and watched as the blood trickled down her maw and onto the soft grass beneath her. She sobbed quietly to herself. So she was a monster just liker her parents...
Rage took over her now as she clawed at her right eye, prying it from its socket and tearing it to pieces. Still burning with sorrow and tears blurring her vision, Ina thrashed in anger again as she clawed at her bottom jaw and sobbed to herself calming words with bitter anger attached. "I'm normal! I swear! I'm not a monster! No, it just can't..." she paused and hiccuped. "I-it just can't..." When she finally awoke from her own terror, it was late night and she peered into the waters again, her bottom jaw was left with only bits and pieces of her lovely white fur. Her innocence was diminishing as fast as her body now.
She was quiet and solemn for the next couple of days as she made her way through the pack. Insomnia had taken over her body and she felt too depressed to eat. Ina didn't realize this was only her true mortui colors showing. Her parents tried to convince her she could stay in the pack and live in peace. She believed them and nodded, promising to try again. Other wolves stared at her in awe when she finally reared her head again. The same wolves approached her and snarled.
"Look! It's Inaba!" one of them chuckled evilly, his violent ruby eyes pierced through her heart and soft mentality.
"Did that even hurt?" one of the other wolves pretended to be concerned and Inaba shook her head a little bit. It had hurt just not a whole lot.
"You hear that guys?! It didn't hurt! Oh then I guess you won't mind this!" one attacked her face from the blind side and she turned away in fear of losing her other eye. A tearing of flesh resounded as her ear was torn from it's place. The blood making it's way down the side of her face.
"Or this!" another one of them called out as they yanked on her tail viciously yet playfully.
"ssshhhk-op!" the mortui cried out as they tortured her, trying to get away.
They all paused and got silent as she spoke suddenly. Then laughter was surrounding the helpless wolf.
"Did you hear that?! Haha! She can't even speak right anymore-stupid mortui!"
"Guess she shouldnt've scraped up her jaw huh?!"
"Speechless! Speechless!"
"Haha, floppy tongue!"
The others danced and bounded around her as they mocked her. She felt her body shrink in size and she ran from them. Crying to herself quietly as she did so. The young mortui had not even noticed the other wolf still had her tail as a prize. She had not even felt it rip from her body.
That night she argued with her parents that she was better off alone to die somewhere or per say rot somewhere dark and pitiful where no one would ever find her. They told her to stay and work it out but she refused to listen at this point. They weren't the ones torn to shreds for fun. So she stayed the night out in the woods and awoke in front of the same pool of water and glanced at herself and felt a boundless joy.
"I'm perfec again!" she panted merrily, then noticed her lisp again as she tried hard to pronounce perfect right. She sobbed as she saw the mirage disappear and realized she could cause hallucinations.
She left her pack lands and decided to try and live a life with friends she could love and trust and a pack that could at least use her and not mind what she looked like. Ever since then she had had a hard time finding a true home that will keep her, causing her to wander from pack to pack and hope for acceptance. She would try to hide what she really was underneath it all at all costs.
Hide that she is truly dying, from the inside out.

I'd suggest making her older, so that her hallucinations would have manifested enough for you to do what you want with them. Also, remember that mortui's eyes turn red after a while, but I don't think you have to worry about losing her other eye just yet. I'd also add a few bits of tendon and muscle to her lower jaw to keep it from falling off completely, just near the hinge.
