Wandering along the breeze Swalleena was so immersed in thoughts of the past that she did not have the faintest clue how far she had drifted. In her smoke form she covered great distances at rapid paces, a ghost in the wind. Today her thoughts were focused on her lost son and the life that could have been his but was cruelly taken by a fatal sickness. She could still remember his adoring purple eyes, focusing on her in a constant questioning face. He had been forced upon her when she was kidnapped to give a dying pack's alpha a female to sire purebred whisp on. In this respect her son was not a wanted one, but his angelic face held none of the darkness his sire's had.
When she finally broke free from her dismal past she found her self on the extended ledge on a cliff. Completely disoriented her emerald green eyes tried to pierce through the dark night. Seeing nothing but the deformed shape of tree shadows she pulled her wings closer about her dainty white and pale bruised violet shape. Through the trees a mist began to form and she advanced gracefully along the edge of the cliff as the ocean spray came up to try and pull her in. Glancing own Swalleena was glad the cliff was a high one for the water could not reach her.
Moving along she made it to a section where the cliff ledge extended to form a grassy place to rest, an edge cut out from the towering rock's face. High above her the cliff came to a peak and as she glanced out to the sea all she saw was great waves of fog descending upon the land, the warm water meeting with the cooling air. Sitting down she kept her body partially in smoke form, melding in with the midst and fog. It was a perfect spot to rest, camouflaged from predators and rest she must for she could not hope to wander back home in the obscure darkness.
No stars shone and the moon remained hidden from view, leaving the female feeling alone and rather stranded. A single tear fell from her eyes as she realized this was the way it had always been. In the night she whispered, "Where has the light gone?" The question more of a metaphorical nature then a literal one.

[scrolly:h(230),w(410),sy] Lawson ran swiftly in the night, his dark brown, thick pelt perfectly hidden from view. There was no moon, no stars, no light: Just the way he liked it. The Yagi lifted his large black horns high in the air, his orange eyes glowing eerily. His paws thudded the ground rhythmically, a constant thud like his own cold, cruel heart. The scar over his right eye marred his face, which would have been a great loss for another wolf: Lawson was rather handsome whithout it. But he almost liked it, since he thought it gave him a tough look, and more importantly reminded him of the betrayal of his own family, the bastards.
He snarled silently at the thought, twisting his features and baring his large saber fangs. The brute was so immersed in his thoughts that at first he didn't notice a pale white light ahead. When he did, he abruptly stopped, at the back of the ghostly wolf, his eyes narrowed, and he waited, poised: What is this strange wolf? he thought to himself. Seeing ghosts, are we? His voice hissed, but Lawson ignored him. Suddenly he remembered something his mother had long ago taught him, about a breed of wolf called a Wisp. His bobbed tail wagged back and forth ever so slightly as he smiled.
How interesting... What an opportunity! He thought gleefully, and approached cautiously. "Good evening, fair lady!I am Griffith, but you may call me Griff for short. You seem sad tonight, dear. Is there anything I can do?" he addressed her in his usual low voice, and grinned gleefully inside: The best part was that no other wolves would be able to smell the Mafia off him, since he was new and hadn't met any other members besides the mutineers.[/scrolly]

He hadn't really gotten to know her much, but so was all his other relationships with the ladies he met. He trudged along the rocky cliff sides, finding the terrain a but painful on his pads. His usual Sandy pelt was much duller and faded, almost orange in comparison from the lack of light surrounding the area.
"It's really dark out tonight..." he noted to himself, scanning for any signs of life. Then his eyes rested on two other wolves.
One seemed almost angelic, like a god. Judging by the body language, this wolf seemed a bit glum. Another female in need of assistance maybe? His heart began to flutter. But from where he was he couldn't tell if they were a male or not. Then he took note of the other wolf... obviously a Yagi... and of decent size too. That one must be a male. Even female Yagi's didn't get that large in size. Damn, looks like he was beat to the punch.
"Whatever, if they are two males I want no part in it... though since I have never seen such a radiant species of wolf. Hmmm..." he mumbled to himself quietly as he crouched low to the ground and started to crawl closer behind some larger rocks. Nautic just wanted a closer look, curiosity killed the cat.
