Lupa awoke from a light sleep. She had managed to sleep the whole night, but it was only because she had dug a tunnel into the snow and make a den for herself. It was early dawn, and she shivered in the cold. The snow flew in all different directions, and the wind stung her face. She let out a yelp as a hefty piece of hail hit her in the face, on her tender nose. She squinted into the snowstorm, hoping that it would end. Unfortunately, that hope was not gonna be real anytime soon, if mother nature had anything to do with it. Even as she moaned and groaned, the wind picked up, and she ducked back into her snow tunnel, two purple dots peering out from the gloom.
They were her eyes, and they were not only purple, but had flecks of silver in them, the opposite of her coat, which was short, sleek and silver, with streaks and marking of purple. She had long lashes, and usually wore a scowl on her face. Her tail was shorter then other lupuses, due to an accident where she cut herself with her lightning so bad, the pack's healer decided it was best to remove from her tail, from the cut and down. She was pretty, but not glamorous, and she didn't really care about her appearance, or what males -or others- thought about her.
As she peered out of her den, she spotted a herd of mountain goats trot by, fearlessly braving the storm. She sighed, envying their thick, warm coat which enabled them to romp around in this weather with only feeling a bit of the cold. Lupa was past cold by now, she was freezing her pitiful ass off. Her den was warmed then the outside, but by no means that meant she was comfortable. She was located at Maximus Peak, probably the most coldest place on the damn mountain. She retreated farther back into her tiny, cramped tunnel, and cursed her luck.
Where she wanted to be: The valley. Or at least the prairie. Where she was... Shinkou Mountain Range. She had never been to the tundra, or the taiga, but she doubted they were colder then the mountains. She heard a rustling noise and poked her head out, wincing at the horrid cold.
As it turned out, the noise was not a wolf, it was a jackalope. She reached out and before the animal could move, killed it and dragged it inside. It was not very large, or fat, it was lean and sick looking. Disgusted, Lupa threw it back outside and lay down inside her den. She curled up and fell asleep. She was tired of the storm, hopefully it would be over when she awoke...
