Dreamith wandered into the cave after Cyra, and it seemed to Cyra as she was still cold. Cyra thought it was a lot warmer inside the cave thanks to Somatra, but maybe caels got cold more easily?
Then Dreamith found a small crack in the stone wall. Cyra observed as Somatra used her ability to control air to test if there was something behind there. When Somatra turned back to them, she looked as if she was bursting with excitement at the discovery of a passage. Cyra admired Somatra’s sense of adventure, and suddenly knew that they were going to explore the passage no matter what it took.
Cyra came up behind Somatra to look through the crack in the wall. She peered through, not being able to see much, but enough to see that it did indeed go back quite a ways. She took a step back and it was then that she realized that it was not a crack in the stone wall, but it was hole in-between many rocks that had made the wall. The stones fit perfectly together and it looked as if they were purposefully placed as they were. This made Cyra extremely curious to see what was back there. The stones didn't look to big and they cave didn't go up that high, so, being an earth lupus, concentrated on the rocks tried to push them forward with her power into the passage. Just as a tester she gave them a little push and a couple small pebbles tumbled off. She did it a bit harder and a few small stones followed the pebbles down to the ground. Then, she concentrated with all her might and as hard as she could shot the rocks forward with such force that they tumbled down in a massive crash. Usually she was strongest in controlling greenery than rocks but she quite happy with how this had turned out.
The dust gradually cleared and showed Cyra a passage, just as Somatra said, that looked as though no other wolf or animal had treaded these grounds in a very long time. A thick layer of dust and dirt covered the stone floor with not a single paw print, and the same goes for the walls. Just then a strong musty scent hit her and she gagged. It was as if the air had been trapped there for a thousand years un-able to move, and at the chance rushed out into the fresh air. She looked back at the others, mostly to move her nose from the smell but could hardly see them through the dust that was picking up again.

OCC; Yes, I think that may be a smart idea to take the OPEN down.
BIC; This was all excitement. There was Som becoming interested and excited about Dreamith's finding and then Cyra becoming interested and then using her power controlling, and becoming excited. Dreamith was ever so glad to have even brought up her curiosity of the fact that there was another room or er, passage that was behind these naturally and strangely, perfectly placed stones, blocking, but not stopping all their of the female's curiosities.
Dreamith held her breath and closed her eyes as the dust and dirt flew out at them as the rocks and stones fell into a piled and higher ground. It took a few long moments for all of the natural debris to settle. Yet, after uncovering her face, she still coughed and slightly gagged at the stale and low humidity air continued to swirl around the wolves.
Dreamith became overwhelmed with excitement and went to the first step toward the tunnel, making the first paw print. The fact that she had made the first print in this ancient tunnel sent shivers up her spine. She looked back at the others through the dust, waiting for them to fallow.

The wall was a pile of rocks, and as it were the earth lupuse seemed to move them out of the way rather effortlessly a true show of successful elemental manipulation. However the dust that followed was none to the air lupuse's liking as her usually sleek and shiny fur was quite dusty. Sighing she shook herself off and created a pocket of fresh air around her to protect her nose from the suffocating scent.
With that precautionary measure taken it was now back to the marvelous matter at hand and incidentally the was a unanimous and silent agreement between the wolves that they were to explore their findings. The deliciousness of the moment was perfect, and Som bounded off after Dreamith, trying her hardest to memorize each nook and cranny as she rushed ahead on a small current of air only to stop and sniff in crevices while she waited.
The air did lose someone of it's dryness further down, and though she could yet smell water, the sudden change in moisture seemed to speculate at the possibility that there may be an underground well of some sorts. Sitting down she waited for her friends as her tail waged furiously and she chimed out in excitement, "Imagine guys, we may be on to something big here. I wonder how deep this goes? I wonder if we'll make it back out?" The last thought was a tad worrisome, but Som disregarded fast enough. [/scrolly]

My comp crashed 4 times (no joke we had a storm) and I lost my post 4 times.
Cyra stood in the entrance to the tunnel, blinking the dirt out off her eyes furiously. Through the blinks she caught Dreamith stepping ahead of her and making the first paw print on the dust covered ground. Cyra could see the excitement in her eyes. She looked at Dreamith for another second imagining the thoughts that were going through her head. Dreamith must be very happy that her own little discovery of a hole in a wall had created this adventure. Just then she caught Somatra running up behind into the passage holding nothing back. Cyra was a little shocked as she herself probably would have entered such a foreign territory and terrain a little more carefully, but she saw Somatra was not the same. Cyra could help but to think and possibly admire Somatra’s sense of adventure. Cyra thought she was going to go on forever but Somatra kindly stooped and looked back to wait for Cyra and Dreamith.
Cyra was more cautious entering the extended cave then when she usually was entering a new place. For this place was different from all she has been. She wasn’t exactly scared, but had never been underground, surrounded by solid stone walls that were even too thick to break if she used all her power she had. This fact made her take a couple steps slowly, unlike Somatra, into the cave. That and the fact that she had heard Somatra wonder if they were ever to get out....Cyra shuddered, discarded the comment and walked a few more steps into the cave.
She was close to Somatra when she to no one in particular, “this is REALLY cool.” As she looked around her new surroundings. The she addressed her friends and said “so, uh, see any interesting?” she was hoping one of them would find another tunnel. Maybe it would lead them somewhere? Maybe it would take them deep into the mountain? Maybe they’d find a new underground world that no other wolf had ever stepped paw into? These thoughts are what trampled her thoughts of caution, and filled her head with curiosity and excitement. She suddenly raced forward wanting to see more and more badly what was down here as the seconds went by. Then she caught herself and stopped realizing this wasn’t just her adventure this was all of theirs and they should stick relatively together. Though she was too energized with the feeling of adventure to sit down, she turned around to see where about the others were.

Dreamith let Cyra go ahead of her, she was still looking at the single and first paw print. She had been all her life, to shy for an adventure. This was basically a dream come true. Dreamith looked up and breathed in deeply. It was not the smell of old air mixed in with new air that she was breathing in, it was a new energy that had made her body shake ever so slightly. With that, she bounced after Cyra and Somatra.
Going further in the cave, it became slightly hard to breath. Yet, there was still a bounce in Dreamith's step, adventure was still further up ahead. She looked at Cyra. "It is really cool... I think this whole thing is interesting at the moment. I am mean, come on, think about it! We are traveling under a mountain. Has any of us done this before? I certainly haven't. I haven't ever experienced real adventure before." She said with a slight chuckle. It may have sounded slightly funny but it was true. She didn't actually know if everyone has an adventure at some point in their lives or not. She just knew that she was experiencing one now.
Each step foot slightly echoed and the walls were becoming wet, at least ever so slightly. Further down, the single tunnel they were in split into three. "Er... which three tunnels down there are we going to go through?" She said, looking at her friends.

Frowning slightly she sent some air flowing ahead, perhaps this technique would help to offer some guidance again? The first tunnel seemed to get rather small as the air flow became rapidly constricted, and so Somatra was less interested in this option. The second just seem to come to an end and drop, and from this point she could not tell how far it fell which could ultimately lead to some broken bones to say the least.
However, the third and final tunnel was certainly more promising as it continued on without too much constriction and soon her air mixed in with a more humid flow, suggesting perhaps an underground stream. A drink would be welcome as the air was stuffy and dusty. Waging her tail once more she voiced her findings to her adventurous friends, "Looks like the first tunnel funnels off into a rather small and narrow passage and I think it'd be too small for us to pass through. The second just seems to drop off at one point into a shaft, I can't tell how deep it is but I'd rather not find out. I vote we take the third tunnel, it only gets slightly smaller and I think there is water up ahead. I don't know about you guys, but I could use the drink." She took a few steps in that direction and waited to see if her friends would follow. [/scrolly]

Dreamith answered Cyra’s question saying that this whole thing was interesting. Just being there was amazing. Cyra couldn’t agree more. The three of them walked on a little further together. Cyra observed that the air around them was getting a little moist when they came to a fork in the tunnel. More like a three way fork. “Er...which three tunnels down there are we going to go through?” asked Dreamith. Cyra was thinking the exact same thing. She cocked her head and opened her mouth to say “well I'm not sure. Let’s just take one and see where it goes.” When she closed her mouth almost immediately as Somatra started to do something with her wind powers again. It seemed as if she was testing the interior of each tunnel by sending some wind in and seeing how it went. Cyra stood by patiently and she couldn’t help but to think that there couldn’t be a better three wolves for this adventure. Dreamith to make the discovery, Cyra to open the passage, and Somatra to choose tunnel that won’t, hopefully, lead them to death.
When Somatra finished talking about which tunnel would be probably the best one that would take them somewhere farther, Somatra took a step towards it. Cyra stood there for a second longer marvelling at Somatra’s powers. However, the next second she took a step forward, and unlike when she was entering the passage, she didn't hesitate. The danger didn't even come to her mind this time. She stopped beside Somatra and said “Well then it looks like we are going this way! But, um, I don't think I’ll be taking a drink from the possible stream down there.” Cyra finished, thinking the water was possibly just as stale as the air when they first entered.
Cyra continued along the new tunnel, looking around at the rough, moist walls. The tunnel was smaller than the main one, but still roomy enough for her to get through without touching the walls. Somatra was correct in the tunnel not getting much smaller. It was staying pretty wide and it seemed as if it stretched on forever. Cyra started to walk faster, and then all of a sudden, while she was looking at the ceiling, she heard a crack from under her paws. She snapped her head down and saw a crack snaking its way around and through her paws and body. Cyra gasped, her eyes wide. The split second before the ground broke, she felt cold sweat spreading over her body, dread filling her mind as she thought, thought, What if there is nothing below this? She tried to jump from the area and call back to her friends, but it was too late. She went plummeting down, the remains of the rock falling with her.
Cyra shut her eyes and tensed her body for the two seconds before she splashed into yet another stream. This shocked her out of her thoughts and brought her back to reality. There was a strong current sweeping her away and pulling her under the water. The water was warmer then that of outside, but still uncomfortable and cold enough to dangerously slow her body down. She clawed at the sides and floor to no avail as all that she accomplished was bringing up mud and silt. She desperately sucked in for air, only to get water fill her mouth and lungs. Cyra’s thoughts and vision became to blur, and her body was getting weaker and limper as the seconds passed by. Only one clear thought of consternation filled her mind, No...

OCC; Its alright Cyra, i am just glad you haven't forgotten about us or anything lol.
BIC; What a thrill! The energy of going on an adventure was still pulsing through Dreamith's blood, rushing as if she was upside down. She pranced after them. They were walking for a little while. Dreamith looked at the rocks around them. The rocks didn't seem to interesting. She hadn't noticed anything happening till she realized that Cyra had fallen into the water. Where the heck did that come from?! Dreamith jumped into the water after Cyra and not a moment later did her tail and legs merge together and transform into the normal..ish fish tail. She swam until she got Cyra and she carried her with the current. Not to long there was a ledge that she could see and dragged Cyra onto the muddy land, it was sable enough where Cyra wouldn't get carried away again. "Stay here." Dreamith said befor going back down and going to where Som was. "Can you swim?"
OCC; Arg, sorry I took forever to finish this pathetic post. T.T Every time I go to post this reply my muse dies.

Just so this post is safe I am making this a WIP until I can get to it later today or tomorrow at the latest. Thanks Cyra for the reminder!
BIC: Somatra watched in trepidation as Dreamith plunged in after the disappearing Cyra, there was naught Somatra could do as the current was too strong to allow her to support herself as well as the other wolf. Bouncing from side to side she tracked the Caella's movements with her eyes, sighing in relief when the wolf emerged from the water to drag the soaked Cyra to a ledge.
The gumption that Dreamith had demonstrated was remarkable and now the wolf was swimming toward her. Could she swim? She certainly could under normal circumstances, but she eyed the water warily as the current had seemed rather strong. However, Dreamith was nearby and so there was naught to do but to test it out. In a determined voice she replied, "I can I think, though don't go too far." With that she slipped cautiously into the water and paddled with strong movements of her limbs, confident in her ability but careful to not get ahead of herself.
Somatra's movements were not as graceful, nor as fast as the Caella's but she still managed to make it to the ledge on which Cyra now rested and heave herself up, shaking the water out of her coat in the process. Glancing at Cyra she asked in a concerned fashion, "Are you alright trooper? That was a rather nasty way of going about taking a bath...Do you think you can continue on?" The lupuse glanced down stream, noting that the ledge become precariously thin, if they were to continue on they may have to swim...
Things had become more dangerous, Som decided it would be wiser to tread more carefully if they were to continue on this path of discovery less they too become trapped souls looking for a way out. Of course she could not help but blamed herself for Cyra's mishap; Som had thought the passage was secure as her investigations had not found any threat. She would do well to remember nothing was conclusive as it was this way of thinking that had caused her friend's fall. Somatra bowed her head briefly, sometimes her excitement got the best of her; but it was worse when it got the best of others. [/scrolly]

Is it dragon time soon? if so we gotta let Arty know. Also its some ones elses turn to make a discover as Cyra just found the river. Maybe Som?
Cyra was drifting away, her body limp, when all of a sudden she felt strong paws getting a grip on her body. Her mind was blurry and she couldn’t exactly place what was happening, but quick enough she was pulled the opposite direction and lifted up onto what felt like a small cold rock ledge. But just as quick, the paws disappeared with a couple of words she couldn’t exactly hear. She blinked her eyes a couple of times and moved her muscles. They were stiff and a little num, but she was rapidly gaining control. She heard voice above her, “Are you okay trooper? That was a rather nasty way to take a bath.” All of a sudden memory flooded back. She slowly got up, more than a little cold, and look around. As Cyra thought, they were on a ledge, hanging over a flowing river, traveling deeper into the tunnel. It was dark, and blackness consumed the end of tunnel making it impossible to see where it was going or where it would end. She blinked a couple more times, getting a clearer image and shook her body free of the water. “Ya, I’m good. Just a little shocked and wet but I’m okay.” Cyra looked to the ceiling and noticed a little ways down, a big gaping hole that she must have fell through. Fortunately it wasn’t that I high from the river. She then looked to Dreamith and happily and more than a little gratefully said “Thank you Dreamith. You saved my life. I don't know how I can ever repay you for this. Thank you.” And with that she smiled thankfully and look back to the black river.
Obviously, Cyra couldn’t swim that well. At least not when she was panicking. But maybe if she used her head and stayed calm she could? Cautiously this time, she stepped her paw into the water. The environment gave her nothing she could use to her advantage. There’s just rock, she thought. When she suddenly had an idea. With her paw in the water, the wiggled it around, and brought up some silt and dirt from the bottom of the river. This stuff wasn’t complete rock so her affinity for earth could help her. She continued to bring it up and up until there was a long steep column or silt beneath one of her paws. She willed it to stay together, and slowly brought her second paw in and did the same thing. It was like walking on stilts. Not wanting to tire herself out she stepped out again and let the column fall. She turned back to the others and said, “So, um, what is the plan now? I'm okay to continue but I'm not sure where this would lead. Should we go on? I found a way to, well, kind of walk through it and I'm sure if anyone needed I could defiantly build them a little walk way too.” She finished thinking of Somatra.

OCC; I do believe we can be in the dragon's lair right now, or we can go through a little more tunnles to make it more like a maze, some tunnels having bats or something and then tumbling into the dragons. Either way will be fine.
Did Dreamith just save Cyra's life? Dreamith had always been the helping hand kind of wolf, but, saving a life? It was a bit mind boggling for her still underdeveloped brain. Dreamith blinked hard and could only tilt her head towards Cyra in acknowledgment. She sucked in a huge amount of air then coughed it out. The air in here didn't seem as old as it was closer by the entrance but it was still moist and un-breathed in for years. Dreamith listened to Cyra.
"Well... there really wouldn't be any fun to going back... as if we hadn't had enough fun already." Dreamith laughed, though, rather a nervous kind of laugh. She continued, "I think we could continue, at least we know that there is now water paths through this place so we all need to watch our step." It was stating the obvious but she still said it anyways. Dreamith looked to Som. "Do you think you can continue to swim? I think I could carry one of you on my back so we could go a little fast. But I don't know, what do you guys think?" She now looked at both of them, while Som had gone onto the land, Dreamith stayed in the water and swished her fish tail about to keep her in place and keep her head above the water.

[scrolly:h(515), w(340),sy] ooc: WIP must talk to the sunny about the dragon first. Thanks once again for the reminder Cyra!
Looking down into the water she supposed she could swim, her thick fur was well adapted to cold temperatures having been raised in a harsh environment. Somatra could only hope the river would not run too deep nor too far because the fact of the matter was that regardless of how well she might swim, it was simply against nature to be able to do so for long periods of time. "Oh I suppose I could manage, it can't be all that difficult...As long as these walls don't close up."
With that decision made she slipped cautiously into the brisk water, paddling with strong strokes and immensely glad they were to swim with the current. With a bit of extra energy she caused the air to go still so that the surface remained smooth and without too much movement, though the undertow continued on, unaffected by the happenings at the surface. At least I shall be getting a bath she thought wryly as she pushed forward.
"Alright then, if we are going to do it we had best get to it!" She pushed forward, allowing the current to tow her along in its merry fashion, paddling to ensure it did no ensnare her and drag to its depths. In fact, it seemed content to have inhabitants in its midsts, gurgling its way through the twists and turns of the tunnels. It was certainly exhausting work for the land dwelling wolf, but she gritted her teeth together and persevered, giving a slight yelp when she briefly lost control and popped into a sharp jutting edge. But she pushed on despite the challenge; after all was that not what adventures were for?
Soon the river seemed to widen and the undercurrent dispelled, or dived deeper as the water became colder and turning a corner she saw it split into to passage ways, opting to follow the wider tunnel deeper into the cavern then any wolf had probably stepped before. It was not long before the air seemed to clear and she sent it bursting forward to examine the path ahead. Sure enough the river seemed to amass together in a large pool and she spoke up eagerly between panting, "It is clearing up ahead, there seems to be a pool and where there is a pool there might be solid ground!" She eagerly pushed forward with slightly renewed energy, looking forward to resting.
Sure as the wind had told her the river formed a pool in a large cavern, the ceiling much higher then before with large jagged tooth shaped stone adorning its surface. She paddled to shore and walked out of the water, giving her fur a sold and strong shake as water went flying over the stone floor. The large room did not seem to have an exit, ending in a blank wall, however the wind told her otherwise and she followed the flow of air to the right corner, where a gap large enough for a wolf to pass stood. Sticking her head around in curiosity she was greeted with sparkling lights, blinding her efficiently. From the brief glance she had only managed to see a room bigger then the one in which she now stood, a rather sparkly one at that. Turning around she said cheerfully despite her tired limbs, "I don't know what we've got ourselves into, but it is sparkly!" [/scrolly]
