The fall wind blew through the prairie, rippling along the surface of the tall grass, like an ocean of gold it moved in waves. High in the air the call of geese rang out, the perfect "V" shape soaring synchronistically above the dull green's lupus' head. Brilliant blues eyes gazed upward as the breeze tried to nip at her maw, observing the yearly flight. There was a hard edge to the look, almost a fierce determination characteristic of the female. Winter would be upon them soon, the first full winter season the pack would go through and this was a good cause for concern.
Sighing she let her head fall as she shook her pelt off trying to dispel this sense of worry. The pack members were all strong wolves, perfectly capable of holding their own, but still she feared that the lack of cohesiveness, that could not be broken through, might endanger them. Perhaps that was just the will of the High Spirit, the wolves in her territory seemed to be prone to enjoying their solitude and Keinvarii was content with that as long as she knew they could be counted upon. Frankly she herself had never been prone to being especially sociable anyways, it took effort and was also a taxing to try and determine the appropriate words and actions to utilize.
Pulling at the threads of her power she moved a protruding rock up higher, forming a flat boulder on which to leap upon. In the warm afternoon sun she played with her powers, turning the pebbles on the surface to blue sapphires. In the bright light they shone, casting about small rainbows of colors over her paws. Leaves blew out over the prairie field, the beginnings of yellow and orange foliage passing the female by in their hurry to seek new ground. Keinvarii was glad to see the weather turn colder, her thick fur could become incredibly stifling in the summer months.

[scrolly:h(197),w(410),sy] It had been a long night of travel ling to go from Yvitt Cove to the Connewa Meadow, home of the Philia Alliance, but Raynor had done it. He had wanted to talk to Keinvarii as soon as possible,, and so had set off as soon as the circus meeting had finished. Travel ling by water, since he was faster that way, he had finally reached the Meadow in the afternoon. It was autumn, and a chilling breeze swept through the meadow, but Raynor's black pelt kept him warm as the sun reflected off the golden highlights. His golden eyes soon spotted the female he was looking for, observing the land atop a large sapphire. The color reflected the sun well, and her brilliant blue eyes.
He approached with a friendly bark of greeting, smiling: He hated leaving the Alliance, even if he promised to visit often and wouldn't be fully leaving, after all. But he felt he needed to do the circus, to explore and make friends and allies, travel and see the world: For too long he had been kept silent and cold, confined to his old pack's lands, a soldier, following orders. That was over now, and a newer, better, more open Cael had emerged. He still kept the scars of his hurtful past, hidden away inside, but he had learned to forgive, although never forget.
He walked up to the Lupuse, and remained standing so he could better see her. At forty inches, he was big for a Cael, but average for most wolves. His muscles were sore and tired, and his tongue lolled a little, which just gave him a lazy, comical air. He'd learned to be less serious, but could still go from the friendly, charming Cael to the deadly fighter in a heartbeat. "Good afternoon, Stone, how lovely to see you on such a fine day as this. I trust you are doing well?" Always one to get to the point, he continued, his voice deep and musical: "I have some news to report, that may or may not please you, but I am here to explain. I have recently been travel ling to the Yvitt Cove, and have met with a group of travel ling entertainers, who call themselves the Circus, composed mainly of Caels but also with a Yagi. I have decided to temporarily join this group, since I find an urge to travel, and meet new wolves. I will, of course, report back often to visit and tell news of other packs, so we can then decide if an alliance is to be made by ways of a messenger later on. I would like to keep my position in the Alliance, since I still hold this pack and its members dear to my heart, but I will understand if you no longer wish for me to be a part of it..." he finished.
His tone was tinged with sadness and an unspoken apology, but something else lurked behind... Excitement at meeting new wolves, determination to help the Circus, and even a bit of anxiety. He looked her in the eyes: " Also, I wanted to come here to tell you in person that the Circus will eventually be coming here to perform, so you are told in advance. I wanted to give you the courtesy of talking to you before simply showing up." he finished, and waited on her answer with held breath. He would be saddened if she was angry or felt betrayed, but he would inevitably understand. However, in the end, he knew this was the right choice for him, and was determined to fall through with it.

[scrolly:h(480), w(340),sy] OOC: Hello, can i join this thread? If not i can just delete my post, i dont want to interrupt anything, or come in at a bad point for Raynor.
Cyra trotted along the cold ground, the grass swaying and blowing in the wind at her paws. She felt the brittle breeze penetrate her pelt and shivered slightly; her winter pelt had not fully grown in yet. Her thoughts moved along to the winter that was coming. Sharp winds, freezing rain, and fierce blizzards. Though she hoped this year it wouldn’t be as bad. Maybe, just maybe, it would be like the first winter she remembered: beautiful white snow blanketing the ground, a subtle breeze, and the moonlight shining down on what looked like an endless white realm.
She soon came upon two other wolves. From the scent carried by the breeze, she could easily tell it was Keinvarii and Raynor. A wide smile spread across her face as she hadn’t talked to either one for some time. On a chilly day like this, it was nice to be around some friends. She trotted closer and when within hearing range let out a friendly hello. She came up to them both and said “Hello Raynor, hello Keinvarii. How are you guys today? Getting ready for the winter? Because it does feel a little chilly out here now...” As she spoke, the grass around both Cyra’s friends legs grew softer and a little taller hugging them for a second, greeting them too, on behalf of Cyra.
Lately, Cyra had been not so much practicing her powers for earth, but interacting, noticing the nature around her and most of all acknowledging. Where ever she went she would mentally nod to the earth around her, and it seemed so much lately that wherever she went, she would not have to try call out to earth, it would just follow, greeting her friends with her, because if they were Cyra’s friends, they were their friends too. She was truly starting to become one with nature.

Actually, I'm glad you joined in Cyra, want Ray to talk with as much pack members as possible to say his temporary good-byes.
