Snow had begun falling, it left the ground covered in a thing blanket of white. If Angel didn't have wings she could have blended in perfectly, though the flakes collecting in her feathers were trying hard to hide her. The white Kieyou remembered that she was born in the winter. Her mother had been of a different pack, one where the snowstorms had swallowed them before her father could save them. He had taken Angel first but when he went back they were gone, consumed by the snow. Angel feared the winter.
Instead of being in the warmth and comfort of family and pack she was out sulking. In fact Angel had been sulking for quite a while. She was nervous about meeting her little siblings, so nervous in fact that she had avoided them all together. Her father, her siblings and especially that Satinka wolf. She knew it was wrong of her but she was jealous. Angel had always excepted that her father's duties came before spending time with her, it was for the good of the pack. But now, this woman was taking even more of her father's time.
Angry, Angel began to run. Trees with golden and brown leaves passed in a blur. She ran until she was breathless and still the anger had not left her. Tears of frustration welled in her eyes but she shook them away. Spreading charcoal black wings she flew into the orange, reds and yellows of the threes. She found refuge on a low branch and watched as the wind and snow washed her paw prints way. She didn't hate the pups, it wasn't their fault they were born. But she didn't want to meet them either. Not yet. Not while she still held resentment for them.

Rarely did the little female seem to be found around her own den, no she was intent on exploring for as long and as far as she could go without anyone watching her. Little did she know, she and her siblings were often watched by more than one pack member. They all knew what she didn’t, she was one of the heirs, and the alpha and his Queen’s pup, if anything happened to her, there would be problems. But thoughts like these did not occur to the little princess, her black tipped face and wings made her easy to pinpoint, especially with the little snow flurries here and there. Since Loca had never seen snow this was an exciting time for her. Her mouth opened wide and she tried to eat the snowflakes with vigor!
It would seem nothing could phase the little she-wolf’s joy, her black wings, much like a crow’s flapped excitedly, although she was not old enough to even begin to talk about flying. But she danced around on the earth before her, and looked for signs of someone around who wanted to play with her. Her sky blue, mother’s eyes, watched the horizon, and even looked up into the sky for anyone who might be close. She barked once, twice, and then a third time, listening to the sound echo throughout the valley, or as far as her small voice would take it. It was when she had looked up that she saw a white, small looking wolf in a tree. She bounded over to the base of the tree, and stood on her back legs, one front paw on the tree, “HI UP THERE!” Her voice carried on as her tongue lolled out of her mouth.
Loca had no idea or perception of what private time was, or why no one wanted to play with her. To Loca, no one’s moods mattered but her own and right now she did not see the other female obviously wanting to be alone. “Did you get hurt? Why are you up in that tree….you’re not a squirrel, or a bird!” Loca sat back on her little haunches and stared up at the female….”You’re pretty….want to play!” If no one knew Loca well enough they might think she truly took after her name of being insane. But no, the little female was quite coherent, she just did not have a verbal or mindful filter. Whatever Loca felt like saying, or thought, she said much to the chagrin of her mother and father. She had heard she had half siblings out there, five to be exact, two brothers and three sisters, but she had not met any of them yet….today was probably her best chance.

The echo of Loca's yips caught Angel's attention. There were only five pups in all of the pack... all of them being related to her. She tensed her body for take off but it was too late, her little sister had spotted her. Pale yellow eyes peered down at Loca, who looked so much like Angel. Black muzzle and wings. The only difference was Loca had one black ear, blue eyes, and her fur wasn't quite as white as Angel's. Anyone would be able to tell that they were sisters.
It was obvious that Loca didn't know who Angel was, and honestly, Reynard's eldest daughter wasn't quite sure she wanted Loca to know. With a sigh Angel flew down from her hiding spot, bringing a shower of autumn with her. The trees were getting ready to shed the last of their leaves and then winter would be upon the valley.
"I'm not hurt," Angel said carefully considering Loca. Angel had never had to too be a role model. She had alway just done whatever she wanted. Demanding her father to teach her how to read the cave paintings. Getting him to come look for her every time she ran off. She couldn't do any of that anymore. He had other things to worry about now.
"Your Loca Jaci right?" she paused, should she play with her? Loca had done nothing wrong, after all. It wasn't her fault that Angel was bitter. But already this pup had defused some of Angel's resentment. After all, she was like a mini Angel, "Sure, I'll play with you. What do you wanna play?"

OOC: Just joining in, sorry if I'm interupting.
Cresent sighed as the snowfall gently covers her bright pelt, making her body look like an overgrown autumn leaf thats fallen in the middle of a snowstorm. She shook off her pelt and looked at the two pairs of wings that seem to be sticking out of the snow. She licked her dry lips and sniffed around, almost unable to find the two if not for the snow that covered them and their scent.
She grined and walked over to the two younglings. "I hope you two arn't getting into any trouble," she said softly. Cresent never exactly liked the cold, and was shivering because of it. She dug a small hole in the snow and laid down on the patch of dying grass, hoping it would make her a bit warmer. Cresent simply watched the two and wondered if they do end up getting into a situation, if she could possibly stop it. Cresent sighs. Great, now I'm getting paranoid again...everything's going to be fine... She assured herself.
"So, what are your names?"

She was literally her big sister, just like her mother had said Nocht and Atlan were her big brothers. Her other siblings were all around the same age because they had been born on the same day, but Angel, Angel would be special to her because everywhere Loca looked she had brothers her own age, and bigger brothers, but no older sister. Though she didn’t know it yet, Angel would be an imperative part of her growing up, her confidante, her playmate, and her family. For right now though she was another pack member, albeit younger than most, but older than her whom Loca would connive or charm into playing with her.
Although she had called Angel pretty she was still not aware that she herself had had her mother’s good looks and would only grow more pretty with time. Perhaps that was a good thing, she was already spoiled enough, but no one could debate her father had wonderful taste in females he chose to mate with. Most likely her brothers would inherit their father’s keen eye for beauty in others, as Loca really didn’t care if someone was pretty or ugly, as long as they paid attention to her and liked her, and pacified her. As Angel descended on her, Loca pranced around with leaves and little snow flurries…”You made it rain leaves!” She jumped and ran around stirring up more leaves and flurries as she did so.
“I am happy you’re not hurt, hurt wolves can’t play…or that’s what my mom says!” She eyed the other wolf carefully and leaned forward to sniff her…”You smell like my dad! Have you seen him?!” Again, the poor pup did not know just how close she and Angel were, but she would soon find out, by scent, by looks, even by their personalities. She squeaked with unquenchable joy when Angel said her name…”Yes…but let’s call me Loca….I don’t like my middle name..” She scrunched her little nose up and jumped right up to Angel’s face, “Whats your name?!” When Angel said she would play she just about died of happiness and ran around Angel, her wings flapping slightly, poking her neck out assertively….”Uhm…how about tag? You’re IT!” She slapped Angel with one of her wings gently and began to race off.
But that’s when she noticed another wolf, who came over and lay in the snow. That wasn’t very exciting to Loca but she squealed and tried to avoid Angel, “My name is LOCA! Do you want to play tag with us?” She screeched and tried to jump to avoid being caught by anyone, her youthful energy making her seem boundless and unable to be stopped. Except for the fact that she still hadn’t figured out how to balance herself, AND her wings while running…which made her sort of…waddle while running. Her semi long tail with it’s small tuft of fur trailing behind her as she ran circles around the wolf laying down, jumping here and there flapping her soft wings gently.

Cresent smiled and got up, shaking the new light blanket of snow off of her shining pelt. "I'm Cresent, very nice to meet you, Loca." She softly said. Cresent smiled at the idea of playing tag with a pup, she loved pups and never wanted any pup to go through a horrible past like she did, but she had a job already, to protect them. It would be hard to focus if she was running around in the snow with a defenseless pup.
Cresent sighed. "I'm sorry but I can't play tag with you, I'm a sitter, I need to protect you, and it would be hard to do that if I was busy playing tag. Maybe another time," Cresent said in a close to monotone voice. She didn't like the idea that she couldn't play with them, but didn't like the idea of them getting attacked or injured even more.
Cresent laid back down in the patch of dying grass, that while she was up, a light blanket of snow covered because of the wind. She scooted the snow off of the patch gently then resumed watching the energetic pup. I hope I can defend them if they get in a situation.... She thought. No, no, no more paranoia today, today I'm just going to watch the pup, and hopefully nothing too bad will happen that is out of my control.

Angel's ears perked up as another wolf joined them. Was there no way to get alone time in the pack? The Kieyou sighed, she had already agreed to play with her little sister, what was one more wolf. She laughed as Loca got excited about the leaves that had fallen in Angel's wake. This kid was definitely related to her. Faintly she wondered if her mother and Loca's mother looked similar. She wouldn't have known, she had never known her mother.
"No trouble," she laughed, her mood lighter then when what it had started as. She wondered if this Crescent wolf was new. It was hard to tell with the amount of Lyxxi that joined the children. Though she had never seen one with those markings before.
Angel jump, shaken out of her musings by Loca's gentle wing tap and shouted 'Your IT'. She let the pup get a head start, running over the the Lyxxus who politely declined. So she had been sent to protect the little princess. Well that was fine with Angel, she had enough to worry about, like catching up with her clone. The elder sister bounded over to Loca, who's attention was caught by the Lyxxus. She pressed her muzzle to the crown of Loca's head before dancing away.
"Your it," she sang playfully.

Although her distraction had now cost her her position of not it in the game. Huffing slightly at the other wolf who did not want to play with them, she stuck her nose up and snorted, “Fine, be a stick in the mud, or sit there, whatever..!” She was about to trot away in a huff when Angel appeared out of nowhere and tapped her on the head. “Oh darn it!” She turned and flapped her wings a few times full of excitement, “Here I come!” she barreled off after the bigger female who looked a lot like her, attempting to catch her, but her pace was uneven and zig zagged slightly. She kept watching Angel move and how she looked and she said, “You look a lot like me! Like a snowflake!”
Giggling as she ran she managed to finally catch up a little bit Angel on the tail with her small milk teeth. Letting go immediately, she turned a cheeky grin to her playmate and said, “You’re it now!” She turned on her heels and immediately pushed off a small mound of dirt as she ran in the other direction squealing slightly, turning around a rock, she decided to use that as a means to avoid being tagged again. Whenever Angel came to one side, she ran to the other, with a Cheshire type smile. In a panted voice she said, “So who are your parents?” It would be obvious Loca wouldn’t know who Angel was, she had not been around since they had been birthed and neither of her parents had told her she had other siblings, other than Hal and Blaisen.
Her blue eyes stared intensely at Angel across the rock, they were an amazing set of sisters, even if only one of them knew they were related. Loca was simply delighted with the fact that she had found yet another playmate to seek out when both of her parents were gone, which seemed to be a lot lately. She placed an indignant frown on her maw as she thought about the fact that she did indeed feel ignored by both her parents, and resolved right then that tag wasn’t what she wanted to do anymore. She walked around the rock and sat next to Angel…”Do your parents leave you alone a lot too?” Her sad eyes looked up at the bigger female.

Cresent grinned at the two playing around and the cleverness of Loca by getting near the rock, it was pretty strategic for a pup to think of. She laughed a bit, this pup may be very strong when she grows up to be an adult, she thought. Cresent had gotten up and walked to an area near the rock so she could keep a closer eye on the two.
She dug another small hole, more like a little dent in the ground, and laid down. She saw that Loca had walked to the other little one, and spoke to her. Cresent wondered what could be going on in the pup's hyper mind to make her stop playing, with the little information she knew about Loca, she loved to play.
Cresent sighed, it was getting colder and colder, her last few winters outside of this area were very harsh, when she had ran from her old home to WW, she had a very hard time finding prey then, and she started worrying about starvation, but not just her, the pups as well, what if they starved?
She shook her head. "No, just no," she whispered to herself. "We are not going to starve, this time there's more than one wolf working to survive winter, it's going to be fine."

Angel laughed at Loca's assessment. Snowflake, what an actuate description. Beautiful and delicate, yet small and humble. Already her resentment for this pup had dissipated. How could she ever think she would hate her little sibling? No one had stolen her father away, it was Angel who had distanced herself.
She jolted a little as Loca nipped her tail lightly, surprised that the younger pup had caught up. Yellow eyes followed her doppelganger as the younger she-wolf raced behind a rock. Watching her, Angel felt like they were truly family. It didn't matter that they had different mothers, this pup was her little sister. Her special little sister. She wanted to guide Loca, keep her safe. Angel had never had a best friend. She had never really had friends at all. Nocht, Atlan and her had never really played together, the High Chief's daughter had always been running off on some new adventure.
Smiling she bounded after Loca, out of the corner of her eye she noticed Crescent settling into the snow. She hoped the Lyxxus wouldn't get too cold or bored watching them. Angel was just about to leap over the rock Loca when the little white Kieyou stopped and came over to her.
“So who are your parents?”Loca asked as she sat down next to the elder, "Do your parents leave you alone a lot too?”
Angel hesitated, unsure of how to answer. Loca looked so lonely in that moment. So similar to Angel at that age. The white and black she-wolf sat down next to Loca, wrapping her lion tail around the younger. "My mother was from another back but died when I was born," she started cautiously," It was a harsh winter and a blizzard was coming. My father, your father, was only able to save me. Our father was chief at the time and very busy so I was left on my own a lot. But father always loved me. And he and your mother defiantly love you Loca," she finished kindly giving the younger's head a loving lick.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,450,true] | [atrb=background,http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a190/lilDiablo_/locamid.jpg]Loca had all but forgotten the baby sitter watching them, for as much as Loca cared the sitter might not have been there. It was a pup’s duty to run off and try to escape the watchful eyes of guardians, if only to find new playmates and new adventures. Unfortunately most times the new adventures and even new playmates turned out to be completely dangerous, and the sitter was required. But with all things, wisdom came with age and Loca was still too young to understand the need to have someone watch her constantly, if she gave it more thought she would most likely to cause one of her tantrums of epic proportions. If anyone was going to be watching her it should be her mother or father, but they were always too busy. Even the thought darkened her already ebony face and put a spark in her eyes of irritation.
She liked being so close to Angel, she smelled very familiar to her, and it went beyond a sense or scent of pack. Angel had taken time to play with her, even came down from her perch, she hadn’t hurt her or teased her like Blaisen did and so she was delighted with the larger female. Loca had no idea however the events that would play out come very soon, she had no idea that she not only had one half sister, she had a total of three, and two adopted siblings, and two full brothers. The extensions of her family tree were so momentous they were beyond the scope of the little female’s brain. But for once she sat patiently and waited for Angel to answer, valuing the female’s opinion because if she were like Loca then they would have much in common, and it would only tie her closer to her new playmate.
When Angel wrapped her tail around her, Loca made a soft sound of happiness and leaned on the larger female for comfort. These were how her moods came and went, she could go from playing to sad and lonely and depressed rather quickly, and it didn’t take much of a trigger for it to happen either. Now she looked up with her mother’s eyes into Angel’s face and her muzzle quivered lightly as she listened, tilting her small ears forward. “Your dad….and my dad….are the same dad?!” Her eyes opened widely, and her mouth opening to pant slightly…”THAT means we’re SISTERS!” She bounced for a moment before half listening to the rest of what she said about being loved. She received the lick and pushed up on her back feet and placed one paw on the larger female’s shoulder trying to lick her face. “I always wanted a sister, it’s hard to have two brothers!” She snuggled up to Angel, rubbing her scent along her before falling on her side slightly and wriggling around. “How come you don’t sleep in our den? You should, you should come and nap with me!” She had no concept that Angel might not nap anymore, only that she would be stuck to the other female’s side like glue now…

She grinned at the two and their differences and similarities, and sighed.
Her mind started to wander around, going from protecting pups to realizing she didn't even have a den here in the pack lands yet, when she was running to these new lands, she would sleep in trees, but Cresent had never thought of a real den.
She thought of what kind of den she would be able to live in, and considering these conditions, she thought 'underground'. She used the Lyxxus retractable claws and dug a divot, which turned into a small hole, which over time turned into a burrow suitable for about two small wolves, or a few pups, to fit in.
Cresent then began to gather an amount of the fallen leaves and places those inside the burrow/den to make it warmer, and had went inside to settle down. She smiled at what she had made, and was able to still keep track of the pups without having to go too far away.
"Little pups, if you get tired, feel free to enter the burrow-den I dug," She said, feeling proud that she alone created this, even if it took a little bit of time, and was also able to keep watch of the pups while doing it. Hopefully with this little den, she could survive the winter.

ooc: I would like to mention that Angel is nearly two years old, which means she almost an 'adult'
Family was nice, Angel realized. She had gone from her father and her to having five younger siblings. Sure she had always had Nocht and Atlan but she never really took the chance to get a long with them. She laughed giddily at Loca's excitement to Angels revelation that they were indeed sisters, not just in spirit but in blood.
"I'm too big to sleep with father now," Angel chuckled,"Besides, he has your mother, and you and your brothers. I couldn't possibly intrude on that."
She smiled kindly at the pup. Angel realized now how much she would have missed out on if she had avoided her family anymore than she already have. Now that she had met Loca she was determined to meet her other siblings and be in their lives as well. "I'll take naps with you whenever I'm not very busy, alright?"
Angel's head shot up, her attention caught by Cresent, who she had forgotten was their. The white Kieyou had to swallow her annoyance at being called a 'little pup'. Granted the other wolf might be two years older than her but she still felt slightly disrespected. Angel let out a breath to calm herself, after all the Lyxxus was just trying to do her job. "Thank you Cresent, we'll keep that in mind," She said politely.
Angel turned to Loca and asked," Are you getting tired?"

How could she not have known Angel was her sister? Did she have any other mysterious siblings that she didn’t know about? She hoped there were more girls, her brothers made her life so hard as it was, she did not want more brothers who would torture her, or run away from her and not want to play like Angel did, or Moonrose, Moonrose could be her sister right? For a long moment her face clouded over with confusion. She tried to slide in between her paws, wriggling her wings to try to essentially fit under the female like she had her mother on numerous occasions. When she felt she was sufficiently cuddled in against her she sat down and began to think on siblings, and looked up at her older sister for a long time.
“Do we have other siblings I don’t know about? Besides Hal and Blaise?” When she explained she was too big to sleep near her, Loca’s whole face drooped and became sad. She didn’t understand just how much older Angel was than her, and she didn’t understand why she wouldn’t want to come sleep near her….She sniffled and put on her sad face looking up at Angel…”But if you don’t sleep with us, how will I always find you? You’ll be gone at night times!” The idea that Angel might ever become inaccessible to her was putting the small dependent puppy on edge and she scratched and dug into the soft powder below her, her ears falling against her head in sadness. She simply did not understand, and being so young she had no control over the swings her moods seemed to be taking.
But then Angel would brighten the small pup’s world by saying she would nap with Loca whenever she wasn’t busy, which Loca figured would be all the time, because Angel would just be busy with her! Her eyes brightened as she looked up and she yowled, happy and pacified once more by the promise her big sister had made to her. She wriggled in tighter to her, seemingly comforted by just touching her, and inhaling her scent, making a memory for her mind of someone who was important to her. When she asked if she was tired, Loca enthusiastically shook her head no, but as she opened her mouth to reply, her stomach rumbled and gurgled ferociously, blocking out any words she might have said. “Erhm……not tired…but I am very hungry!” This would mean a trip back to find her mother, and as most pups Loca would eat, and then most likely fall off into a nap once her stomach was full….”Angel will you take me home?” Crystal blue eyes stared up at one of her new idols.
