Morning light filtered into the little den that contained Conerion and Sunchaser. Sun woke up to the light streaming on her eyelids. She snorted slightly, seeing the light threw her lids. Sighing softly she woke up and for a moment she had to remember why another wolf was so close to her. She growled softly then stopped herself mid growl as it came back to her. If a wolf could blush she would be blushing right now.
Stretching as much as she could she slipped past the male and into the cold. She stretched her limbs, letting her wings come out and flap softly. She wouldn't be leaving for she really did want to see if perhaps this would be her new pack. Once she had stretched properly she moved back to the den, her body cold once more. However just with the two good meals she now had more bulk on her body. Not a lot of course but enough to know she would make it threw the winter.
Her blue orbs turned to the male. She sat down on her haunches, letting her tail wrap around her legs. It would be wagging if she let it but if the male wanted to sleep in then she would let him. She did however give a wolf version of a smile for she couldn't wait to see if this was to be her new pack. As she waited her body shivered slightly for she still had snow on her fur. Grumbling slightly to herself she backed up and shook her body, being careful not to wake up the male or get any of the snow on him. Now she was snow free but still cold.
Frustrated she grumbled once more to herself before laying down and curling up, watching the male and waiting for her body to get warm again. Sunchaser looked at Conerion and willed him to wake up. Even if she wouldn't go and force him awake she was ready to meet, hopefully, her new family. While she was thinking of all the possibilities her body started to quiver with her excitement. She growled softly to herself willing her body to stay still but she was turning into a pup and she was slightly scared all at the same time.

Coneiron stirred in his sleep, visions of mutated wolves oozing pus through their bloodied and decomposing bodies plaguing his mind, an army of mortuis come to remove his son. Coneiron stood helplessly in the middle of the Hvitur Rocks as the monsters with their heinous red eyes tore down on Tauxic, the anguished cry of help from his mate screaming in his ears. Coneiron made a move to lurch at the monsters but his paws remained glued to the ground, fire rising to infect his lungs as the rocks were cast in a morbid red glow. Coneiron watched ominous black shadows trek across the rocks as if the demon wolves had managed to convince the shadows to ally themselves with their malicious plight, their mouths agape in horrid grins.
He could see his son atop a rock, the sea of flesh rising up the tall formation, jaws snapping at the little pup as Tauxic remained frozen in terror. Though he could not see his mate he could smell her blood through the wave of rotting flesh and nausea struck him, bile rising to his throat. He could not save them, couldn’t save himself and as the wolves descended on him … Coneiron woke with a disoriented lurch, panicked eyes gazing about furiously as the brute remained caught up in the nightmare. But it was not horror that greeted him but the quiet tranquility of his hunting den on a wintry morning. Heart beating rapidly he noted Sunchaser just returning to the den and he shut his eyes, needing to calm his racing heart and still his distressed mind.
It had all been a silly dream; Tauxic and Lupa were safe in their home den, probably snoozing in the rising light of day. Sighing he opened his aqua eyes and unceremoniously yawned, breathing in the crisp and cold smell of the day. Pleasantly enough he greeted, “Good morning Sunchaser, I hope you slept well. Are you ready to meet the pack’s superior?” He gave her an encouraging nod before rising and exiting the den, stopping to take in the bright sun that streaked down on the clearing. Arching his back he stretched, shaking his fur out and licking at some snow, the cold particles melting instantly on his tongue.
With a last glance over his shoulder he threw his head up and let out a strong howl, requesting the presence of the High Chief or Chief at their convenience of course. The sound reverberated across the hills and into the distance and Coneiron sat down to wait a reply. “They will here the call and answer soon enough, we need not but wait for the time being. Tell me, how do you feel this morning?” Sunchaser had appeared more stable to him, but if there were any injuries still paining her he was sure a Healer could be summoned to tend to the wounds.

Sunchaser watched the male and when he yawned showing he was awake she tried hard not to tremble with excitement. Though what she wanted to do right now was bounce up and down. Yes she was really happy and she was ready. When he spoke she nodded her head. "As ready as I'll ever be." She smiled, her mouth opening and her tongue hanging out with her happiness. Shaking herself she followed the male out into the cold again. Her ears twitched as he howled for one of the superiors.
Once more her body was quivering with excitement. She was scared though for she didn't know what would come of the meeting. Blue orbs turn to watch the snow as it rained down above them, her body shaking slightly from the cold but more from how happy she was. She cocked her head a bit as he spoke once more. "I am feeling well. Truthfully much better then I did yesterday or have felt in awhile. I am truly hoping that this is where i am meant to be, that this will become my pack and family." She blushed for she was feeling better about being around the strange wolf. Though if she became a part of the pack he would no longer be a stranger would he?
Her eyes traveled back to the male for a moment before looking around at the scenery now that she wasn't worrying about finding a place to get warm, or a good meal. "Did you sleep well? I am truly sorry for keeping you away from your mate and your son. If i am allowed into the pack i will look after them when you are unable to." She looked at him out of the corner of her eyes, wondering what he would think of that. Yes she was a stranger but if she really did become part of the pack then she would look after all the wolves because they would be her family. However because Conerion and Lupa has shown her kindness she would be doubly aggressive to anyone that tried to hurt them or their pups.

YUEH Coneiron's howl would find itself filtering through the Chiefs audits as he slept within his large den. His muscular form would fit an twitch in the dark, a firm scowl upon his aging features. He was dreaming, and it was clear to see it was not a good one. The howl would echo through the dark, making the large white behemoth stumble in the shadows as he ran. Like in his everyday life, so too was this dream. Colorless. Frustratingly hopeless. Alone. He would whimper to the sky, trying to find the owner of the howl. What was a calling song on the outside, was a mournful cry on the inside. His heart raced with incredible fear as he realized he would not find the owner of this howl, destined to forever chase it till he collapsed with exhaustion. It only drew louder, piercing his ears and suffocating his soul. More desperate would it shriek, until the Chiefs ears would ring forth and bleed, waking the large brute with a spray of dirt from the den floor. His sweating body shook as the cold morning breeze swept through, his fangs ground together so tight the taste of his own red liquid tainted his tongue. He gathered his breathing, blind eyes darting back and forth out of sheer instinct. He could hear the other howl now, the real one, not the sickly distorted sound that had invaded what usually was his few hours of serenity. Shaken, the Chief raised his heavy body from the floor slowly. The emptiness around him didn't help, and a huge paw reached out into the tense air to feel a mate that wasn't there. It was getting to him much more lately, for reasons unknown to the albino hybrid. Growling with frustration, Yueh hauled his massive frame outside. He stood for but as moment, breathing in the crisp fresh air as if to clear his constricted lungs. He would yawn, but his body was far to tense for that. Instead, the Chief jogged through the center of the pack gathering area and on toward his comrades call. He was almost instantly greeted with an unfamiliar smell, obvious that the Guardian had bought the Children a new member. In no mood to be his ever playful self, Yueh cleared his throat gruffly, nodding to the only wolf he held in high regard next to Reynard and his Queen. "Morning Coneiron, my friend. What is it that you need from this old brute today?"The Cheif mustered a genuine smile, as genuine as one could be after what e had just witnessed. As he waited for his answer, a beautiful Keiyou would emerge from the guardians den. "Speaking" Coneiron was glad to see he had been able to help the female, and although he needed to leave his family for the night the deed was done and for the better of the pack. Smiling gratefully and Sunchaser`s offer he inclined his head in acknowledgment, "It would certainly alleviate my concern if I knew they had someone to watch over them in my absences. Think nothing of it, duty to the pack is met well enough and they are not without protection though I cherish being able to return home once this affair has been discussed." His tail gently wagged in the snow, sending little waves of frozen crystals into the distance.
From his stand point he could see the fast approaching white brute, and despite the wolf`s age Yueh still retained an incredible grace to his movements, something most wolves could only hope to achieve. He gave the Chief a bark of greeting and dipped his head in respect, moving aside so that Yueh could get a better look at Sunchaser. "Good day Chief, I raised the call for we have a wolf that is interested in gaining entrance to the Children`s pack. She has spent the night in our lands under my supervision, I hope this does not cross any boundaries but I deemed it too late to raise a call and disturb you or Reynard`s slumber. Her name is Sunchaser." Turning to Sunchaser he gave her an encouraging nod and a friendly smile.
"Sunchaser, this is Yueh, the pack`s chief and second in command, you are in good hands with him." Satisfied that he had given the proper introductions he fell silent, cocking his head to the side to see how the Chief would proceed. Official affairs had not always interested the lupus, he had gained the proper training in his own pack to direct them but up until this point in time they had not grabbed his attention. Now he was curious as to how such matters were properly conducted, having only his own to base opinions on. He knew Sunchaser would be fine under Yueh`s direction and it pleased him that the Chief had answered the call so fast when he was under no obligations to drop his affairs at such haste, a good show of character in Coneiron`s books.

Sunchaser came out of the den, shaking her body to get the little bit of snow and water that she hadn't been able to get off of her off. However as soon as she did that snow flakes fell on her. Her head lowered slightly as she grumbled, looking very much like a frustrated and disgruntled wolf because that's exactly what she was at this moment. However it was probably a bit comical as well. Shaking herself once more she looked past Conerion at the white wolf behind him.
She body froze for she didn't know how to react to another wolf around. Her first instinct was to growl. It took all of her will to not let it come out. Yes it would take her awhile to get used to other wolves being kind but until then she would be a fierce fighter. Her body shivered slightly in the cold and she couldn't wait till she was her old self, where you couldn't see her bones. Her stomach growled as she thought that thought before looking at Conerion for confirmation that this was who she thought it was.
Her towers twitched as he greeted the chief, then motioned for her to come forward. All her giddiness was now gone for it was replaced by a slight fear. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath before moving forward and inclining her head to the other. "Good morning. I'm sorry that we had to disturb you. As Conerion said my name is Sunchaser. I have been a loner all my life and am hoping that i can finally settle down into this pack." She looked at Conerion nervously before turning back to Yeuh. "I have heard good things about this pack from Conerion and having met Lupa as well I believe this is where i am meant to be." She looked at the male and waited for his decision.
