What would it take,
Quiet like the snow...
{This was the younger him}
OOC Information
OOC Name: Foxxy
Link to Previous Character: Rylee
General
Name: Dokimer
Alias: Doki, but he'll go by anything you call him
Species: Yagi
Gender: Male
Age: 9 years
Pack: Loner
Rank: n/a
Physical
Height: 38 in.
Weight: 170 lbs
Appearance: Dokimer looks quite strange for a Yagi wolf. His fur is a light cream color, fading to white at his legs, muzzle, and tail. He does have brown on the top of his head, his toes, his tail tip, and his hips. His eyes are deep brown, though dulled from his years. His fur has thrown less colorful than it used to be and gray has formed especially on his muzzle. His horns have grown some since he was younger, but they are still quite small, especially for one of his species and age.
Doki does have fangs, but they aren't much to call fangs. He has strangely overgrown claws, and he doesn't have the horns along his back as many other Yagi's do. Something else that is special about his appearance is his second, fluffy little tail. It was a birth defect and he is not able to use it. The last thing is his front right leg. It was broken when he was younger and never healed correctly, causing a bad limp. Combined with arthritis, he has a very hard time going long distances. His bones have grown brittle and he's lost some of the little muscle he had. Because of this, he is very weak.
With everything that's happened, Dokimer has lost all drive to make himself look presentable. He is in horrible shape and has terribly mangled fur. He is often very sick, and really shows it. His voice is still deep like a males, though has a much more soft and gentle tone than others. Being small for his species, especially for a male, he is quite strange appearing to others.
Other: He's very old and sick.
For things to be quiet,
Mental
Strengths: Hiding, kind, can usually sense others emotions, a lover.
Weaknesses: Timid, pessimistic, uncertain about life, lonely, depressed.
Personality: Still very timid and pessimistic, he hardly takes things on very often. He always prepares himself for the worst in situations. He is extremely uneasy about life, believing he had failed at it. He has very bad guilt issues and blames himself for everything that's happened, as well as whenever something goes wrong. He's lost faith in himself and has gained a new fear: death. He is terrified by the thought, even though he knows it can hit him at any time.
He has always been the same, sweet, softhearted wolf he was before. He cares deeply for everyone around him and always puts everyone above himself, no matter who they may be. Low self-esteem has always been common to him, as well as low confidence. He will give up easily when a challenge presents itself because he thinks he can't do it, and because he's too weak to fight back. Always a lover, he’s never liked fighting, nor been able to fight. His passive nature leads him to be extremely submissive to whoever will try to be more dominant. If something that’s very stressful comes by, he’ll simply just shut down and do whatever it takes to get out of it. He has tried to let go of things, but finds he dwells in the past all the time. He has a very hard time letting go of things and has nightmares from his past, even though some things may not entirely be his fault. He’ll have a panic attack if he freaks out too much. He has fixed his stuttering problem, though he still does when he's scared or nervous. Embarrassment comes very easily to him and he's found he is really a shy wolf that doesn't think he's worth anything to anyone.
He is a very lonely and depressed wolf. He wants to be loved, but feels like he doesn't deserve it. He curses himself for ever being a coward and wishes he could have changed things. The holes in his heart run deep and possibly may never be healed. He has grown very desolate and seems like he's always somewhere else, gazing at empty space. He hasn't smiled for years.
History: As a little pup, Dokimer lived a sheltered life. He was forced to stay in the den, never to travel into the outside world because it 'was not safe.' He never knew his father, and his mother never spoke of him. Even as he grew older, he still depended on his mother. One night, his mother did not return to the den. With much thought and hesitation, he slowly stepped out of the den and had his first real look at the world.
Doki never found his mom, but he did start venturing around the territory. When he was familiar with it, he went to another one. That was where he met her. She was beautiful and guided him to her pack. He was gladly welcomed, but some did not like him. Hally's mate noticed that she was hanging around Doki a lot, and one night threatened the poor wolf that he would kill him if he got any closer. He tried his best to stay away from Hally, to save himself and her.
Though, one night while he was out at the lake thinking, he heard yelling. He went to investigate, hiding in the bushes. Hally was pinned under her mate, who was taunting her. She was yelling at him to get off, but he didn't and even snapped his jaws in front of her. Feeling a sudden burst of courage for his love and leaped out, hesitantly telling him to let her go. He took this as a threat and went around, grabbing Doki's leg in his jaws and snapping it harshly. He fell to the ground, stunned. Before he could do anything else, Holly threw him off Doki and saved his life. Doki was immediately taken to the healer, who said his leg would never heal.
After his leg was healed, Dokimer wanted to leave because he felt like he was making trouble for Holly. She refused, but he left anyway. He wandered alone until he found a refugee in the tundra. The new pack took him in and even made him their Doctor. He felt like he was finally beginning to find himself. Though, he felt like he was a burden to the pack so he left. Month’s later, he returned, only to be greeted by his deranged Empress that scared him away again.
For three years he lived his life a loner. He barely made by, making do with what little he had or what he could get. He grew very lonely, having little to no contact with wolves over the time. He wanted to go back to his real home since the very beginning, but found himself too guilty to return. Sickness and disease quickly took him over. Unable to take care of himself and with no pack, it was a miracle that he's survived this long.
One night he had a nightmare. It was first of Hally, then of the back he left behind. The following morning he felt horrible, but suddenly compelled to return. He knew he could be dying any day, but didn't want to die without fixing at least some things. He rested for a couple days before taking the plunge and ventured for the Tundra. After the many tiresome days it took him to get there, his sadness spiked when he found it abandoned. Where had his lovely pack gone? He now wanders WonderWhy, hoping to find someone he knew before before he dies.
Other: None!
