"Speaking"
It was early morning when a certain Caella wandered about the boarder of the Accord pack. Jazling had heard many good things about this pack even though she had just entered the land not to long ago. It also wasn't just the word going round about the pack but also something inside her. May it be her heart or her head she could not tell. Perhaps it was the will of the Great Spirit. Either way, she was going to do as she was told.
Her dark blue body walked slowly, bright green eyes looking out. The sun was just peeking up over the horizon line and the sky was colored with soft pastel pinks and blues and bright oranges and yellows. The few clouds that roamed the sky were lined in golden thread and the whole sky just looked as though it had been painted by the Great Spirit so perfectly. This scenery before Jazling made her smile and sigh contently. If this pack did happen to take her in, she could easily feel at home with this place. It was indeed paradise like for her.
She now hesitated a step. The other packs that she had belonged to before, she thought the place was also much like paradise, yet for completely different reasons. Except for the one she had been birthed into. She shivered. Jazling was glad though that she was not the same, extremely submissive wolf that she had been as a mere pup. Where as now she was a much experienced, matured, healer. At the thought of this, she continued to smile and go along her way into the territory. She knew that this place was special. Jazling just knew that this place was the place that the Great Spirit truly intended for her. And if not...well she wouldn't exactly know until then.
When Jazling thought she was far enough into the territory without making any members that may come by threatened, she sat down and looked up at the sky once more. She truly did enjoy her surroundings. She enjoyed the fresh and somehow not so crowded feel of this place, she felt roomy. Though she did remind herself not to get to comfortable just in case. There was no reason to not keep alert on any territory, good words about it or not. It was something she had learned. After all, you don't go through six years of your life not having learned a single thing. Well, not that she could imagine. Jazling's fur looked like a field of grown blue wheat as a great burst of cold wind surrounded her and engulfed her. It made her giggle some as she felt like she was having a conversation with the Great Spirit herself.
She indeed thought of the Great Spirit often. After all, she didn't just spend two full years of her life to every day study and concentrate on the Great Spirit and the power of healing. And it was quite an accomplishment when she had felt that she had finely gotten a break through and grasped a very well understanding of healing and the Great Spirit. Some didn't believe in the Great Spirit but Jazling certainly did. She believed in the Great Spirit as much as she believed that strangers could be kind to one and another. This belief came from an event in her life. One that has allowed her to be where she stood now. Had it not been for that stranger, one she had never even seen, save her life from his own pack. Actually, it was because of him that Jazling began to believe that there indeed was the Great Spirit. And although things became bad and the next big even in her life occurred, it did not weaken her faith.
That stranger, another thing that came up into her mind often. It is difficult for one to forget the face of someone she had been saved by but never got to thank. That was one of her many life time goals and even possibly on her bucket list. She wanted to be able to meet that stranger again, face to face, and be able to thank him for having saved her that time so long ago. She doubted that it would happen slightly but still, it was something she would like to be able to do before she dies. Jazling after all did owe her life to him. The perfect stranger. Jazling closed her eyes and chuckled some. Oh how much she would have missed out on if it were not for him. Sure there was a very very bad event that had happened not to long after meeting him but still. Everything had its ups and downs, that was just life that there was no changing that, and even if she could she wouldn't. Because then there would be no purpose for anything, but there is a purpose for everything. Jazling only learned to grasp that when she had been learning about healing and the Great Spirit. Its funny how everything comes together when you least expect it to.

"Speaking" The pristine lake reflected the rising of the sun with a myriad of gold, pink, white and blue, truly a beautiful spectacle to all who were awake at the time. Mist still covered the lake, ever so slightly, as it was early morning. Through the light mist appeared a dark, somber looking wolf, his coat flecked with golden highlights that matched his entrancing gold eyes. He was robust and healthy, with a sleek pelt that shined as the droplets from the mist clung around him, and the sun's rays shone through these. He was muscled, and quite large for a Cael.
"When the sun rises up in the sky, I begin to dream of you and I, While you, my love, are long gone, My sweet memories of you will always live on, And when the Great Spirit reunites us two, You will know that I have always loved you..." He sang, in a deep, masculine voice. For such a fierce looking male, his voice was surprisingly musical. Years of rigorous and demanding training had not only toned him, he had also developed agility on land that distinguished him from other Caels, who usually had more difficulty on land. He hummed along as he approached the shores, planning on catching some fish for breakfast.
However, he didn't jump in just yet, and waited on the bank, listening to the wind in the trees and the gentle lapping of the lake. Home and family, they were all he'd ever wanted. His thoughts drifted to the lone Caella way, way back... He had indeed saved her life, and in an indirect way, she had saved his: Raynor hated to imagine what he would have become if he hadn't awoken to his true self that day. Suddenly, his ears perked, and he turned to face a figure in the mist.
Could it be? Was the light playing tricks on him? He cautiously approached, sniffing: It was a she-wolf, another Cael like him. He saw smooth, deep blue as the sea fur, and looked into green eyes that shone like emeralds. He tilted his head, silent for a moment as he wondered: Can it be? Is it her? Here? Will she recognize me? Raynor cleared his throat: "Welcome, traveler, to Lake Amarenthyst, home of the Centenna Accord. I am Raynor, Lord of Defense." He waited a beat, and took a chance: "Do the mists deceive me, or are you indeed the Caella from way back then? I know this may seem strange, and I apologize if you are not she..." His voice was quieter, low even, when he asked a emotion made his eyes glisten.
The Cael hoped she would be interested in staying, because he was certain that he couldn't let her go. He'd always wondered what had happened to her: Had he saved her life, for her to simply be killed days after from lack of food? And what about her pups? He recalled she had been quite pregnant at the time. However, he saw no other wolves with her. He was immediately interested in her, and wanted to find out more about this intriguing, bewitching Caella.

"Speaking"
All was silent to her open ears. It was as if she were listening to the whole planet breath. But then the silence was broken as a deep and hansom voice sounded. Her eyes flashed open and the three light blue stripes on both of her sides looked like waves as she slowly got up and turn towards him. For a moment she didn't think anything of his appearance other than that he was black and gold but then she stared at him for a moment longer and everything in her mind changed.
There is no way.... that is impossible. Its not him, is it? Has the Great Spirit lead me to him? No, that stranger I had met must still be with his pack. But then who was this male that looked exactly like him only a bit more muscular, larger and older. Jazling blinked once she realized that she hadn't been listening to half he was saying. She caught his name, Raynor. And also Lord of Defense. Well it did definitely suit him with such a strong body like his. There was a moment of silence. That silence continued for what seemed like forever, then finely his voice came through.
Jazling felt as though hear heart has skipped a beat and all the glory of the Great Spirit had just been dropped onto her. "I have to admit, I thought I had quite lost my mind for a moment. But now I see that I am far from it. I do believe I am the same Caella in your past as you may be the Cael whom had saved me 'or yonder of years ago. My name is Jazling." She paused for a moment. "I know this is the pack of the Accord, I have heard many good things about it.." Jazling for a moment was afraid, the last time she had seen this wolf, Raynor, she had been nearly killed. However, she now felt confident that they were meeting in a less aggressive area.
"I have indeed come here, guided by the Great Spirit of course, to join... it is such luck or fate perhaps that I should be meeting you again... Raynor. And under better circumstances too." Jazling smiled and a quite like chuckle came out that would make someone imagine a splash of water going up into the air and the sky being yellow behind it so making a golden rim around the water. Or in other words, a little twinkling sound. Jazling then was quite for a long moment thinking. "...Thank you.. by the way... for having saved me all those years ago. I wouldn't be here if it hadn't been for you." She said in a quite voice but with extreme emotion within it.
Jazling suddenly felt as though a weight that had been on her shoulders for quite a while was suddenly lifted. One of the most important things that she wanted to do before she died was done. That made her feel... good. Oh so very good indeed. Jazling's bright green eyes sparkled as she looked at the black and golden furred Cael before herself. It was as if she were in some distant dream. One that was absolutely to good to be true. To meet her savior Raynor, thank him for what he had done, and possibly join a pack - that he was a part to add- all in one morning. This she knew had to be the great and wonderful works of the Great Spirit and fateful... well... fate. This was just too perfect. All of this had to be a figment her imagination. No, it was to real. He, Raynor, was too real.

With a quick ruffle of her pelt, she lifted her head into the sunlight, simply breathing in the early morning hour freshness. With one last glance at her den she leaped out of the hollowed clearing that was the entrance to her den, her courtyard as she liked to think of it, and proceeded to set off at a brisk pace towards the lake, intent on lapping up the deliciously cool water in the peace of her own company. Her padded paws made little to no sound as she moved through the thick underbrush, leave covered in morning dew brushing at her pale green, white and dark grey pelt. Later she would hunt, but for now she wanted to great the day at the water`s edge and give homage to the land where she might not be disturbed.
All around her creatures were beginning to wake, and the early cry of a loon echoed out from the lake, greeted by the twittering of a mourning dove. The little scurrying of rodent feet whispered from under the dense pile of leaves that covered the ground like a blanket and the Queen paused to nose through the foliage, scaring the small creature away with a small smile. With her nose to the ground and her soft tail sashaying behind her, the Queen took a moment to try and detect any unusual scents, but none greeted her, which was preferable. Finally the forest began to thin out and down the crest of a steady hill awaited the sparkling waters of the lake, unusually clear from mist upon this morning. The sun streaked across the calm surface, yet to be disturbed by the wind, and a loon ducked rapidly under the cover of the glassy waters.
Spotting movement out of the corner of her eye, Keinvarii narrowed her eyes and took note of the two wolves conversing on the borders of the pack. It appeared as though Raynor had encountered a loner, or a potential member, and yet the pair seemed to be almost familiar with each other. Either way her services might be needed and so down the crest she went, heading towards the pair. An open smile of welcoming graced her maw as she glanced at her Lord of Defense and she extended the friendly gesture to the female with whom he conversed. “Good morning Raynor, how do you fare upon this rather breathtaking day?” She paused to give the land a loving sweep of her brilliant blue gaze, her tail swishing back and forth in calm contentment.
Turing to focus her attention on the stranger she took note of her beautiful blue pelt and startling green eyes, features almost distinctive of a Cael, but the Queen could not be certain. Either way, introduction were in order and so she said, “Welcome to the Lake Amarenthyst stranger, I am Keinvarii, Queen of the Centena Accord. What brings you so near to our majestic home this morning?” Her inquiry was not interrogatory, simply more of a curious nature then anything for the female had not trespassed and Raynor seemed comfortable in her presence, and Keinvarii trusted his judgement on such matters.

OCC: Sorry for not having posted sooner. I wasn't sure if Kas wanted to post next or not. And lack of muse. T^T
Jazling quickly took notice of an approaching figure. But even so, her attention was directed more towards Raynor. Her mind was still fairly boggled from having actually being reunited with him, after all these years. It still amazed Jazling greatly and this only made her happier with the Great Spirit.
Jazling stayed silent as the figure greeted Raynor. She then smiled kindly as she was next to be spoken to. Queen? Why, today is quite the lucky day for such a Caella as myself. "Thank you, and pleasure meeting you mi'lady. I am Jazling, I have come here to hopefully join your pack. I have heard many good things about it and there is indeed many good things I already find." Jazling glanced at Raynor for a moment.
Yes... many good things I believe. I wonder what Raynor has been up to all these years... It seems as though it were forever and a day ago and yet at the same time, just yesterday. My, I never have felt quite like this... so contrasted that is... I wonder what other feeling I may find with Raynor that I had never truly felt before. Jazling's mind began to wander to the time of Everous. I wonder what he has been up to also... he has probably found some new mate that has given him... lovely pups.
For a moment there was a pain in her heart. A haunting pain that did come up every now and again. But to shove the bad feelings away, she came up with some happy and genuine ones. Well if that is the case, I am happy for him. He has gotten what he has wanted from the start and I might just get... Jazling was surprise at herself that she would start thinking about.... Raynor as her happiness. Though truthfully, she wasn't. And absolutely anyone could see that if she had told them. But she wouldn't, especially not with Raynor in front of her. Oh stop thinking so childishly Jazling, you are a grown adult, a healer and that is what you shall stay to be till death. She scorned herself in her head.

"Speaking" His heart gave a funny little flop as he grinned at the Caella: So she was indeed alive after all! The feeling of joy was expected, he was glad that he had somehow changed another's life so dramatically, and for the good too. However, the feeling of closeness and an almost there bond to her was unexpected, and surprised him. His eyes drank her in; she was lovely on the outside, for certain, and he wanted to get to know her better, even if he felt like he already did. Find out what made her laugh, or cry, and where did she come from, and what places had she been and... He just wanted to know everything about her. It was an odd feeling, one the hardened soldier wasn't used to.
He smiled warmly at his old friend Stone when she arrived, bringing a sense of serenity with her as usual. "Hello Stone, my queen. Jazling," He smiled as her name flowed from his tongue. It makes me think of music, and the tinkling of raindrops on the lake... The Cael thought to himself, and wondered since when had he become so poetic. "We've met before, when I was still in my old pack. The dark days, you could say." For the last part, his voice was tinged with a bitter venom that so rarely ever betook the solid male.
Those were indeed the dark days... Even if I saved one life, how many more did I ruin, even indirectly? He shuddered to think of how many wolves he'd somehow hurt. He'd never been openly cruel, like some of his old comrades, and when he had been assigned to execute another wolf it was done as quickly and painlessly as possible... However, there was still the fact that he had done it, without even questioning his superiors. Raynor gazed into the emerald eyes of Jazling, gold meeting green, and smiled again: He didn't know why he hadn't killed her that day, but by the Great Spirit he was glad he hadn't!
"It is rather I, fair lady, that should be thanking you. You changed my life that day, and for that I am most grateful Jazling. So in the same respect, I thank you for saving mine." He smiled. Raynor glanced at Stone: She probably had no clue as to what they were talking about, and he decided to explain to her. She was a dear fried of his, and his queen, and so she deserved to know some things. "I apologize Stone, I realize this may all seem rather odd to an observer. You see, Jazling and I met some years ago, when she was accidentally trespassing on my old pack's lands. She meant no harm, that much was obvious, but my..." He didn't mention that she had been pregnant, it was up to her if she wanted to divulge that information.
Raynor had been about to say "superiors", but changed his mind: No wolf was a superior being to another, and he would never be ruled that way again. "...pack's alpha was a strict, cold and uncaring ruler, who believed himself superior to all." Raynor was honest. "He ordered her killed, and I, a few comrades and my superior set out to do the deed. However, I realized that this was not right: And from then on, I knew that I would never be able to follow an order from my old pack again. Since I had swam to her using the river, I reached her first, and let her escape by showing her a quick way out of our lands and back to her own. My superiors arrived, and realized I had tricked them, and in turn failed to do my orders. The rest is history, and here we are." he finished.
He knew there was bit's left out, like Jazling being pregnant at the time, and he wanted to ask her what her side of the story was. She wanted to join the pack, and that excited him: He couldn't wait to show her around the Lake.

Keinvarii listened to Jazling`s more than polite greeting, happy to have a wolf interested in her pack and waged her tail slowly as the Caels , in turn, explained to her what had occurred. The story was a rather bittersweet tail, the Queen had always known Raynor had not agreed with his past, and the male but the male had never really elaborated on the matter and she had left him to deal with his own ghosts and haunts. After all, who was she to offer council? If anything Keinvarii had little to offer as council on such a matter, she had never been in a pack before the Alliance and certainly had never been subjected to such dastardly conditions before. The only thing she could do was listen with attentiveness and hope that it would be enough to show that she cared for her pack mates and their own troubles. Raynor was a formidable Lord of Defense and she was perfectly happy to have him patrolling the lands from even the waters to ensure that their borders were not penetrated by outsiders. His experience and wisdom could lend itself to Squires needing training and she believed he could lead the Knights with a firm and knowledgeable paw. The island had become his domain, and she was pleased she could offer the large wolf a place of his own for his own solitary musings. Sitting down on her haunches she gave an understanding nod, this pair had history and she felt joy that they should once again find each other. She did not offer pity to the pair of caels, did not betray sympathy but instead did what she only knew how to do and offered what she had to give as Alphess. "Thank you for your kind words Jazling, it brings happiness to an Alphess` heart to hear her pack has a good reputation. You are most welcome in our midst; have you an idea as to what rank you believe might be suitable?” She said kindly, her voice strong and encouraging without any harshness that she exert on those that merited it. While she gave Jazling a moment to ponder her decision, Keinvarii addressed Raynor`s explanation, hoping she would be able to say the right thing given the importance of what he had just shared with her. “I am sorry you both had to live through such an experience, I speak honestly when I say you will never be faced with such a decision in this pack.” The last was said with fierce determination and a bite to her words, a bright spark of intensity lighting her sparkling blues. Any wolf that came to seek solace in her pack would never be subjected to harsh conditions, they would find shelter and peace in her lands and within the pack they would be free to finally explore just who they were meant to be and attain new heights of happiness and self realization. In the same respect the pack worked like a close knit kingdom, unified by the combination of their individual strengths and the belief that all wolves had value, they were strong and firm without the undue use of harshness sometimes exerted within other packs. Her lands were a sacred sanctuary to the Accord wolves, a haven in which they could live their life free from terrible paths where the future was clear and clean; a blank canvas on which they could create whatever they so pleased.

Jazling smiled. There was also now a slight spike in her curiosity. Raynor had mentioned that she had also saved his life. She wondered how she had saved him. When she was pregnant and had met him, she knew nothing of his situation and still did not know of his situation of back then. He seemed so capable and not in any sort of trouble at all. So how was it that she had saved him, and even more so, from what?
"Thank you my Queen. I was hoping to join as a healer of some sort. I am very skilled in it. I also wholeheartedly believe you, your words that we will not be faced with such troubles again." She said with a soft smile and slight bow of her head. Jazling glanced slightly at Raynor and saw a glimpse of his curiosity. She knew what of. After all, the last time they had met, she was pregnant and close to birthing. Perhaps this was a good time to tell a bit more about herself. As she began to speak, she directed her words more towards Raynor.
"Yes... when we had met, I was also pregnant. In fact, very close to giving birth. If it were not for him, I would probably not be alive. However... I can not say the same for my pups." She was silent for a moment then slowly continued on. "About two weeks after he had saved me, I gave birth, but to dead pups. It may have been from the stress of that one day, being so close to being killed by Raynor's pack or it may have simply been just the will of the Great Spirit. I know that everything happens for a reason, I am sure there was a reason for that... event of my life." She spoke calmly. "And because I gave birth to dead pups... I was chased out of the pack."
"I know that I would not be chased out here if I were to ever.... try to have pups again. If I had a single shred of concern for that, I would have not traveled upon the land." Jazling spoke with complete honesty. Well, after having an experience with hers, it would be no wonder that she would be careful in choosing a pack. She took every bit of detail she found out about packs into careful consideration. Jazling looked at Raynor to see what his expression or reaction was to this part of her history that she knew he must have been wondering. And if he hadn't been wondering about that, at least he would know a little something more about herself. Plus, it would be best if the Queen knew a personal bit about Jazling, especially if she were to get a good healer rank in the pack.
