Once again she was placed with the task of babysitting the pack's puppies. With the snow now coating the lands in a very light blanket, though the day was warm enough to have melted some of it, the day seemed perfect for teaching the young pups how to hunt. Not many predators would be out and about today, considering she expected most to be in their dens sleeping or hiding from the snow. Besides, if any of the predators got hungry and came anywhere near the pups, she'd kill anything that threatened to hurt them. She loved these pups that much, even though they weren't hers.
Moonrose had gone on ahead of them, searching for a good place to teach the pups to hunt. Nocht was with them and she did not know how far back they were from her. However, she trusted that he'd watch them carefully just as they both always did. They babysat the pups of Satinka and Aurora quite often, just to give the parents of these rambunctious puppies some reprieve from them. She knew each of them loved their offspring so dearly, but they could be a handful sometimes. Reynard was busy being leader and even Satinka needed her days off. Aurora was overwhelmed as a single mother.
The massively scarred Lyxxus gazed out at the river, pausing a moment in her walking to look at it. She remembered the day that she met Nocht, out at the cave. She remembered how she had to find away to cross the river in order to get to the cave, and that's when he showed up and showed her a way to cross the river without getting wet. She was grateful because she could not swim, and even now she would not go near the damned liquid unless she really needed a drink. Swimming was not her strong point, and she had a feeling she'd never learn. It was something that only Nocht knew, though, because she had only ever told him.
The Guardian turned around to face the ones behind her. "Who wants to learn how to hunt today?" This had been her plan all along. They were at the age now where they were pouncing on things at random and were practicing some decent stalking skills. She had noticed these things and had decided it was about time for them to learn. Moonrose was not the best hunter, a better fighter really, but there was a real Hunter with them. She was sure Nocht wouldn't mind teaching them a few things. If she paid enough attention, she could even learn something she didn't know. "I'm sure Dipper won't mind teaching us something."

[/blockquote] Surprises come in small packages [scrolly:h(280),w(285),sy]Nocht knew that Moonrose would be waiting for them once they got back to the river. He had been with the pups already for quite some time, rousing them from their parents respective dens, and herding them towards where they'd be meeting Moon. The idea of them puppy sitting seemed to go well with both mums, who probably were more than thrilled to have some time to themselves.
Nocht knew the pups were all related, but he wasn't sure if they knew this as well. He kept quiet about it though, letting them just follow him. He kept his pace slow though, allowing them to walk beside him as well as follow. "Almost there," he said softly, his voice gentle as he spoke with the pups. It was definitely true that their little souls brought out the best in him. As one of Tinka's pups, Blaisen, sat on his back, a genuine smile crossed the male's lips.
Finally Nocht could see Moonrsoe before him and he smiled at them. "Go get her!" he said in a hushed whisper, Blaisen himself hopping off his back and bounding towards Moonrose, but stopping a few paces short and sitting himself down. He was far too cool and collected to do something silly like tackle her.
Once all the pups were close to Moonrose, he gave Moonrose a bit of an awkward smile, nodding his greeting and watching her address the pups. They definitely could use some hunting lessons, he knew. It was a good suggestion too, something safe, but also productive. Her next statement threw him off slightly. Dipper? Who the heck was that? He looked around for a moment, trying to figure out if there was someone else near them. Of course, it was just him though, and he stared at Moon hard. A single brow rose, as if to say "really?" but he ignored the comment.
"How much have you all been taught now little ones? Can you all be stealthy and silent? Maybe we can practice by sneaking up on Moonrose before she hears us..." Ha. Ha. Ha. Revenge is sweet.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,450,true] | [atrb=background,http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a190/lilDiablo_/locamid.jpg] Loca was having the time of her life however, that had not been the case a few short moments ago. Being roused from the side of her mother as she had slept had put her in a bad mood, which up until recently had not been lifted easily. She grumped and grumbled about the entire time they padded around to wherever they were supposed to go. It didn’t help that Blaisen got to ride on Nocht’s back, and even with Hal traipsing along Loca could still not be cheered up and she showed her bad moon by bringing up the rear with the slowest pace possible. She did not understand what was so very important that they had to be outside while it was cold, and her momma got to stay in the den and rest. She shook out her pelt, which was already coming through in the exact colors of her mother and blinked her bright sky blue eyes frequently as she tried to wake several times. It would not be until she saw a figure coming into her vision that her mood finally broke and swung the other way in an instant. She squealed with happiness and propelled her body forward with a lunge, nearly knocking Hal over in her attempt to go forward.
“MOONPIE!” Happiness surged through her as snow was flicked up behind her as she immediately attempted to tackle the larger lyxxus. Of course, being her size it did not work and she simply slammed into her front paws as the snow beneath her feet did not aide her in stopping in enough time. “Oomph!” Gathering her wits quickly to see Blaisen in front of her, she stood up and kicked two feet fulls of snow in his general direction as her tail lashed back and forth clumsily as she looked up at the female lyxxus who always made everything so fun for her. Moonpie was by far her favorite sitter, and when she was with anyone besides her, and her sister Angel, Loca couldn’t help but complain and loudly about their absences. She was attempting to climb atop the Moonpie when she realized that there was talking going on, and stopped long enough to slide back down into the snow and perk her ears up to try to listen as best she could, although her attention span was rather short all things considered.
Something about hunting entered into her ears and she yapped excitedly about the idea that they would be learning to hunt, that would be exciting indeed! Dipper….Dipper…Nocht…She turned to the male lyxxus and giggled walking in a tight circle, “Dipper, Dipper will teach us how to be sneaky! Dip….PER!” She collapsed in a fit of giggles at Moonpie’s paws attempting to wriggle in between them, although her wings were causing some problems in that area and she finally settled for slightly sitting in between them. “Why do we have to sneak up on Moonpie!? How come we can’t practice on something else…or someone more annoying…” Her eyes glared at her brother Blaisen intently. While she loved her brother Hal with her whole heart, Blaisen was practically the brother from hell, and he knew it…and she knew it, it was a condition of existence for them both apparently as she sat stiffly fluttering her wings and looking up at Dipper to hear his answer while simultaneously traipsing around Moonpie to attempt to take down one of her several….very delicious looking tails..
