He had been chasing the little thing for far too long now, and had not realized he had crossed into pack territory. The tiny Myou had come so close several times to catching the white ball of fluff and the snow that was surrounding him made that even harder to keep his dark blue eyes on it. His second soul chuckled lightly at him and he simply sighed to Edmund's melancholy. The second soul was a fawn and he was a kind little thing, but he always laughed when Bambi managed to fail at catching a rabbit, which was now attempting to catch its breath as it looked wildly about.
The smaller male padded silently through the snow, hiding behind the rocks on his way towards the tiny creature. Well, he couldn't really call it tiny if it was only half his size. Yes, Bambi was very small for a Myou, not to mention a male, but that all had to do with his second soul. A fawn. Of all the things he got stuck with, he got stuck with a fawn. For the longest time, he believed that his spot would go away and that he would grow horns as his mother and father had. However, they were Myou with horned second souls, whereas he was stuck with a child. He could not complain, though, he liked Edmund.
Bambi's venetian blue eyes flickered between the rabbit and the stone in front of him. He could leap off of it and onto the rabbit, killing it quickly. He paced backwards a few steps and took a swift run at the boulder, bounding up it with ease. He jumped up and descended quickly upon the creature, emitting a feeling of calm. For a split few seconds, the rabbit relaxed and let its guard down. Within the second after that, it was dead and limp at the Myou's feet. He grinned widely, proud of his catch. For a wolf much larger in species than he, something like this would be juvenile, but he was very small.'
That made it a triumph.
Bambi paused a moment to sit down and take in his surroundings. He was content at first, pleased with the sun shining down on his back, the cool snow at his feet, and the fresh kill sitting right in front of him. His mouth watered at the thought of digging right into it, but something else caught his attention. The scent of the lands was different than what he was used to smelling. Either these lands had many wolves wandering through them or these lands belonged to a pack, something he did not want to get in trouble with. He swallowed the lump in his throat and gazed around. After all that hard work, he could not take the rabbit, for it had been killed in pack territory.

The days only seemed to get colder and shorter as the season went on. It was little comfort to the hybrid knowing that spring would soon arise. With months of blistering cold ahead, it was a far distant light in the future. Either way Duchan was out and about prowling the land. Another thing he hated about winter was how it made it so bloody hard to conceal himself, even in the night time. His dark pelt stood out like a sore thumb. He tried to make the best of it by letting the snow silence his pawsteps, which he had to admit was easier than the forest ground, but even still he found things to complain about. He would never voice these things to Ahote, or Alucio though. They were things he kept solely to himself.
He had just caught the scent of a deer when something else caused him to stop, his head alert as he sniffed around him. His long, feline-like tail flicked suddenly and then became motionless. There was a wolf, in the packlands, that he did not know. How it had gotten past the border without him noticing was a mystery to him. His lips curled back in a grimace and he found himself slowly stalking the scent. Soon blood mixed with the wolf's smell. Thankfully he was able to tell that the blood was not from a wolf, but from prey. Even still he increased his speed, his dark bulk moving steadily over the terrain, closing the distance between himself and the intruder.
He came upon the clearing quickly enough, remaining in the brush just outside of it. The dark bushes did a decent job at concealing his body, and both orchid eyes pierced through the brambles to stare at what appeared to be a very small spotted wolf. A single brow rose in question. It was obvious that such a small thing would hardly be a threat, but even still he had invaded their lands, killed their prey and now sat there, apparently dumbfounded. He let the growl bubble in his throat, filling the clearing as best he could, before extricating himself from his abyss.
"How is it that one so little can get through border patrols and pack terrain unnoticed? And kill our prey at that. I am sure you are aware that you are trespassing, small wolf. To not be would surely be an ignorance unparalleled by any wolf I have yet to meet. And still you sit here, staring around you, and do nothing? Perhaps this is some sort of bravery. Are you brave, small wolf? Is that why you have come to the Enclave's land and killed our food? Because you are brave?" He moved around the smaller wolf, his tail flicking, whiskers sensing around him. He looked much like a large caninesque panther, his glowing eyes staring right at the little wolf as he circled him. Unless the wolf had some tricks, he knew if it came down to it, he was no match against the skoll.
"Please tell me who you are and explain yourself." He spoke simply, lifting a paw to examine it, unsheathing his claws, flicking each toe before returning it to the snow. "I'd love to hear it." Perhaps it was the winter that was making him more testy than usual, but either way he was having quite a bit of fun with this little wolf.

Even though his coat was thin and often provided him with minimal warmth, it certainly wasn't stopping his body heat from leaving him. His fear rose on high, but he kept his mouth closed and tried to focus on relaxing so that he did not attract any unwanted visitors. Staring at the dead rabbit in front of him, he sighed slightly, trying to comprehend on what it was that he wanted, let alone needed, to do. For all he knew in those moments, he was being watched by a predator bigger than him, either wanting to eat him because he looked like a baby deer or wondering what the hell a trespasser was doing on their lands.
He had walked over the boundaries, more like ran over them, without even realizing what he had done. He had killed on pack lands and if anyone found him with this dead rabbit at his tiny little paws, he couldn't find a worked better than screwed. He was not really one to use such vulgar language, and such a small word as that was certainly something he considered vulgar, but there was honestly no better way he could put it. One of the biggest mistakes a loner could make was wander onto a pack's territory and then kill something for a meal. He was a very small wolf, and he could be overwhelmed by anything.
Bambi's ears twitched and his entire body hurled him to his feet, the growl initiating his stance. He slapped on his usual calm facade, even though his heart was racing in fear at the unknown source of the sound. Well, whatever it was, it was certainly bigger than he was. He paced in a circle himself, almost impatiently, until the massive creature revealed itself and began speaking to him. He listened intently, holding his position neutral as he stood there. His deer's tail stuck out straight, not too high nor too low. He was not a submissive wolf, nor was he a challenging one. He would need to remain calm. In any situation, his life tended to depend on it.
His Emoticon kicked into gear and he exerted a type of calming emotion onto the male in front of him, only hoping that it would work to make the male somewhat kinder to him. However, even he knew that the male could still reject the feelings. Bambi smiled and bowed his head respectively, "You can call me Bambi. I'm afraid, dear sir, that I've crossed the lines here. I did not intend to. Someone as miniscule as me has to eat, and this little rabbit was the only thing I had managed to come across a few miles back." He had been chasing the damn thing for so long and had just finally managed to kill it, but he wasn't going to risk his life for this.
"Hungry, not brave, I'm afraid. Bravery requires certain qualities about a person, and considering my second soul, I don't seem to have them." Bambi tried the light hearted joke, stabbing at his own second soul, whom scowled at him from the back of his mind. The Myou stood and grasped the rabbit by the scruff of its neck. Taking a few steps, he placed it at the larger wolf's paws and stepped back to a respectful distance. "I may have chased it down and killed it, but these are your lands, not mine. Take it. I'm sure your pack needs it more than I do." He felt his stomach twist in displeasure at the motion, but he ignored it.
