OOC Information OOC Name: Plumeria Link to Previous Character: n/a
General Name: Sumeria Alias: Sumee, Meri Species: Eremus Gender: Female Age: 2 Pack: Loner Rank: n/a
Physical Height: 36 inches Weight: 42 pounds Appearance: Thin, lithe being with light sandy fur. Her pelt is mostly a white-cream color with some darker shading around her ears, muzzle, and along her back. The tip of her tail is a darker brown than anywhere else on her body, with a lighter brown streak leading to the base. Her hooves are dainty and are slightly lighter than the rest of her, with the tips being the same pinky-brown as her nose. Her neck is slightly scruffier than the rest of her. Her eyes are a vivid yellow color. She has a higher-pitched voice than most others and her voice has a youthful cast to it. She moves in a lithe, graceful stride except for where it impedes her movement due to the shape of her feet. In direct sunlight she is almost completely white. Coat is often covered with a light layer of dust, making her appear darker than she is. This is due to her living environment, and that she dislikes going through water.
Other: Streaks of brown curve from the corner of her eye, down towards her muzzle.
Mental Strengths: Open, compassionate, polite, eager to please, will to succeed Weaknesses: Impatient, often takes on more than she should, shy and withdrawn, confused about her own self-esteem (sometimes over-confident, sometimes not enough), easily hurt feelings
Personality: Sumeria is very communicative to those she knows. She is eager to make those around her happy and is quick to jump to help them. However, for the most part she has few friends and sticks to herself. She longs for attention from others and often seeks it. She's open-minded and is accepting of anyone, including those others would more quickly shun. Sumee dislikes pups though as she finds them too clingy and attention stealing. Sumeria dislikes water and getting wet, though she knows this is often necessary. At the same time she marvels at the wonder of weather such as rain and storms as in her natural home they aren't often seen. Some of her favorite past times are digging, frolicking, and generally acting puckish to smaller life around her. While her personality is open and sweet to other wolves, she finds no greater joy than that of tormenting her would-be prey, even if she's not hungry at the time.
At the same time, though, her impatience often gets the best of her and she'll spoil a good moment by acting too soon. This is most often seen when hunting but it can arise while she's interacting with others as well. When she meets other wolves she's shy and withdrawn, and unsure about what to say. At first she will try to appear confident and ready to take on anything, but those that know her long enough eventually see that falter. If one was to comment on her actions she'd feel hurt and dejected and may lapse into silence again while she recovers.
History: It was a cool breezy spring night when she was born, deep under a rock in the desert. The scent of her mother was the first thing she knew, as with many other pups born into the world. This scent was musky and slightly fresher smelling than the dirt and sand around her. It was also different than the fleshy smell of her siblings, who had not quite acquired their own scent. Foremost in her memories of her parent was the scent of the life-giving milk that fueled her for the first months of her life.
Sumeria was the first to crawl her way to the front of the den, tense and eager to explore the outdoors. Each step she took into the great outside of her initial home excited her more. She didn't get far before her mother scooped her up and carried her back into the dark and clammy den. It was another three weeks before her mother returned from a hunt and called them to the surface. She and her siblings - two males - clambered out and ran to greet their mother with joy.
Thus she began her lessons of how to eat formerly living things, how to hide from the sun, and exactly which way to hunt the prey she would eat. She learned that each animal that they could feed upon in the desert also had it's own dangers. This thought frightened her as a pup and she ended up being the last to successfully bring down a jackalope. Her late kill was a disappointment to her mother, but was understandable.
Her life was fairly typical for a long time. She ventured forth with her mother until she was close to a year old. She followed and hunted with her. When she hit her first breeding cycle her mother cast them all from the den, feeling threatened by the males and not wanting to compete with her daughter to keep the den. Sumeria didn't quite understand her thoughts but she set out on a familiar path.
She journeyed in this way, in a straight line from her den, until the land became strange and new and had smells and sights she hadn't yet encountered in her life. Curious and amazed by the world around her, she began to live the life of a nomad like many other lone wolves might choose to do. She slept where she willed, avoiding territories of other packs, and ate whatever food she could happen to catch when she needed sustenance. In this way she has lived her life until now.
Lonely and often unsure of herself, Sumeria has started the search of finding others that may accept her into their home.

Hello Plumeria and a huge welcome to Wonderwhy! On behalf on the site I want to wish you a great and active stay and hope that you enjoy your time with us. My name is Somatra and I will review your bio today, so let's get started so we can have you out there and having fun...
Your Appearance is looking really great, however the profile form states a minimum word count of 150 words, at the moment yours is missing 60 or so to reach this limit. Please elaborate a bit more before I can accept it, what you have so far is excellent! You currently have 5 strengths which is fantastic, however your weaknesses are standing at only 4, please add another to balance it out.
Her Personality is a beautiful elaboration on her Strengths, I would like you to mention more about her weaknesses in it because just as the good in chars is important, so is the bad.
Her history is p e r f e c t and I simply must commend you on the brilliant lack of spelling errors and grammar issues, this was a pleasure to read! So once you have fixed those things up reply to this thread and I will gladly look it over as soon as I can!

Thank you for the warm welcome, Somatra. I've fixed her appearance and it's at 167 words now. I also added a weakness and included a small paragraph in her personality that highlights those. I'm glad her history fits so well. ^^; I used to have a very similar character-acceptance-setup on my site, so I knew what you'd possibly be expecting.
Is there anything else to change?
