OOC Information
OOC Name: Baylie
Link to Previous Character:
General
Name: Baylie
Species: Lupus
Gender: Female
Age: 2 years of age
Pack: Loner
Rank: n/a
Physical
Height: 33 inches in height approximately
Weight: 71 lbs
Appearance:
Baylie has a small, dainty frame with long spindly legs that would seem almost absurd yet on her seem playful and adorable in appearance, and when paired with her impish facial appearance her puppy hood is easily present still in this adolescent. Her small size and weight makes her nearly dismissive if not for the intricate patterns of blues, blacks, tan colors with splashes of white curly fur, that when paired with her bright piercing blue eyes is a striking appearance. However, she does not particularly notice this nor does she appear to care about how she looks because she sees herself at a disadvantage when trying to blend in.
Build:
Baylie's build in a few words would be described as spindle like and dainty of her recent adult hood while her impish qualities are still retained even if slowly fading as she progresses further into adult hood.
Coat colors:
Baylie's coat colors is a maze of various patches containing deep blues, blacks, light tan coloring along with large sections of white particularly found at the back end of her body. Such coloring while beautiful hinders her abilities of hunting in the day, particularly in open areas and instead must hunt in the night time or in shady places.
Other: The air around her seems electrified and energetic, almost as if lightning could burst forth at any given time. Also due to this she also tends to have her fur slightly standing on end, giving other wolves tiny electrical shocks when coming into contact.
Her walk while most would think to be clumsy is surprisingly graceful and not in the least bit clumsy, however much like her when she walks she seems almost ready to bolt, hyper and finding deep difficulty in keeping still.
Mental:
Strengths:
Element Affinity: Electricity
This is what she has decided to use for the rest of her life, striking down with bolts from the skies someday. Seeing how it matched her personality of being unpredictable and hyper. However even with the close match of personalities, her abilities thus far is very crude, hitting targets is an impossibility unless by complete chance. She has not been and adult long thus this is the reasoning behind her lack of skill, however she is determined to learn and is open to any teachings her fellow Lupus have to offer.
Speed and agility:
Due to her small size and weight she is able to run across short distances with powerful speed and agility as the product of her long legs and small frame. She is also able to run long distances though quite taxing on her after time passes, her true strength is in short and very fast sprints over mangled terrain.
Weaknesses:
Small size and lack of physical strength:
While her small size might give advantages of speed and agility as well as that annoying knack of getting into places other, bulky and large wolves might miss, the effects of harsh weather conditions paired with the fact she is much smaller then many other wolves leaves her at a disadvantage. Conflict is not her thing that is one thing that you can be sure of.
Lack of control with electricity:
As mentioned her abilities with her electric affinity while powerful are highly crude in fashion and not likely to hit anything in particular that she is targeting. Therefore, for the time being this will be used as more of a bluff then actual attacking of another individual. However she is very eager to learn, wishing to improve upon this and one day becoming able to use it for combat reasons.
Personality:
Bouncy, bubbly and very hyper. Baylie is a puppy in a recently adult body, still enjoying to play run and be young. However this isn't always the case, like the affinity of lightning she is unpredictable in her moods. One moment she might be childish and immature, the next she can be serious and seem very wise for her age. However despite this she is a very loyal wolf, pledging herself to her packs well being and putting their needs first and thinking about herself later. This put aside however she is very good with pups still one herself at heart, playing their games and interacting with them on a playful level, even interacting with them more so then she would an adult wolf. However when she succumbs to her mood swings she can be seen among the older wolves that will have her, conversing about thing's such as the perfunctory perhaps seen in the packs daily chores or some other matter that interests them at the time. One would willingly diagnose her as having multiple personalities when in reality she just likes listening and playing with the entire pack as a whole. To be honest she has a very kind soul and has no reservations or biases to any race or age of a wolf. Though recently she has been quite bitter and quite, keeping to herself and only sometimes playing with pups or looking for any contact at all. She refuses to talk about it sadly, keeping it all inside.. She seems almost bitter when her serious side decides to show up.
History:
Baylie used to be apart of a pack before being forced to leave it by force from her father. Why? Because of who she was and what she could possibly do one day. She had always been separated from the others, seeing reason where other pups could not while also being ridiculously immature and childish about matters that were to be considered serious. Because of this she was picked on, thinking something wrong with her mentally due to the fact she always thought things through differently, her mother tried to shield her but it was never any use whatsoever... They would simply bully her when her mother was not present to keep her from harm, even in front of her father who would simply stand back and watch, claiming to his angered mate when she demanded answers that Baylie needed to gain a back bone. Though oddly, it never bothered her because she would always see the pointlessness to resistance, so she kept to herself, holding it all inside herself. This went on until her recent second year of life, where she with her endless amounts of patience finally snapped. Her father had started pointing out her flaws, how she was different and should strive to be like the others, how she was smaller then the rest, how her legs were too long, how she was not normal and sick in the mind. For some reason this hits a particular nerve and she disagreed for the first time in her life. The conversation quickly went downhill into a match between herself and her father where her father actually struck her, a mixture of powerful emotions ripped through her. This is when her powers were revealed, a large arc of lightning shot from the sky and hit the tree behind her father, shattering the wood and starting a fire within the tree.
Her father knew that could possibly have been him.
And thus banished her from his sight never to be seen again.
She has been on her own ever since, roaming the lands in search of a new home, desperately hoping she might be so lucky as to find one.
Though now slightly cautious of others she almost thinks this would not be such a good thing, yet she know she wouldn't last long otherwise.
To be, or not to be.
To join, or not to.
This is the question
