She was thankful her legs elongated to keep her above even the deeper still liquids. She had given up on chasing her lupus friend quite a while ago, he seemed too persistent to shrug her off and lose her along the way. She sighed inwardly, maybe it was for the best. She couldn't remember what happened after she awoke from the incident where he set the prairie on fire. All she knew was he had been angry at her and had told her off.
She recalled vaguely of waking up next to him, her fur feeling warm and her stomach full and content with an almost bloated feeling. A small blush that escaped as she felt embarrassed and raced off, hoping he would be okay when he awoke. Why the swamp? She was unsure, it just felt right. It felt like home to the little eremus, maybe it could be home to many other wolves too? Surely she wasn't the only wolf that thought of the wetland as such? Though she was still very alone and had yet to run into any of her acquaintances along the way.
"I wonder where that Sennyo and Myou went..." she coughed dryly as she struggled to get over the amounts of smoke she had inhaled before. At least Leo couldn't catch the swamp on fire, it was simply too wet for the most part... Why was she still thinking of that fire lupus anyways?! She scoffed at herself as she placed a paw up to rub her itching snout, again from the tinge of smoke it too was irritated. At least her eyes weren't watery, here genetics had prevented that with her second set of eyelids. But what good would a staring contest help? She sighed again as she tried to focus on what she needed to do.
"Obviously, Leo doesn't want anything to do with me, he probably hates me. So that leaves at least the magician and Artellia... at least three is a good start for a pack... right? Ugh! Who am I kidding?! I will never be able to start my own pack, much less run it..." she sighed again, feeling her face heat up as she fought tears in her eyes. The sun had completely set by now as the full moon made a graceful accent above the mangroves and black willows. Nepara watched in awe as she waded out of the water to get a better look.
"You understand my problem... don't you? I wish you could speak back to me... but a good listener is always welcome too..." She giggled lightly as she stared up at the orb of reflected light, she was careful about wrapping her body up and around a tree to get as high as she could and not get stuck. Many times she would have starved or drowned had not another wolf been there to untangle her. Thankfully her body was understanding and allowed her to climb almost to the top. She sighed again as she rubbed tears and sleep from her eyes, she leaned back against a stable branch before peering up at the moon again. Bringing her comfort no one else was possible of, at least not anyone she felt she had the pleasure to meet yet.
"Oh, why doesn't he understand? I just want us to be friends... I.. I thought he was my friend... was I wrong?" she asked once more before laying her head down on her paws, letting her tail dangle a couple feet below the branch she had laid on, just not low enough for any wolf below to reach. It showed pink skin underneath where all the fur had burnt off, another reminder that pained the eremus. Nepara sighed once more, sleep calling to her in the moonlight of the chirping crickets and fireflies of the swamp.

[atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,500,true] | [atrb=background,http://i132.photobucket.com/albums/q21/winkatuck/leoleoleo.png] <DIV align=justify>It was dark. But it wasn’t. The darkness was a living thing, moving and weaving before him, constantly shifting into another shape. It took the form of shadows that seemed prepared to lunge at him, before they melted back into the darkness. Somewhere in the pulsating blackness that filled his vision, he was aware that he was floating. He felt some logical thought drifting around him, unable to clasp at it. He was floating in a black sea. Could he swim? He didn’t know…He couldn’t remember. Thoughts were escaping him. Words that he once knew, had become foreign to him, and was replaced with a sense of awareness…Of what he did not know, for he had no words to describe it. Somewhere, deep within him, he knew that this was not reality. This was a dream, but it wasn’t. This was just a world of darkness. The thoughts did not reach him in his current state. He was too far gone, drifting on and on. The water was turning sticky now, and he felt a sense of panic. The floating sensation was replaced with a sickening plummeting sensation, the black water disappearing, and plunging him in a thick darkness. For a while, all he was aware of was falling. The falling sensation should have ended with a distinct flattening impact ages ago, but it did not. He began to slow down, until he stopped completely. He was still in darkness, but every now and again a word would flicker through his mind, before becoming lost to him. It was as if his mind was reactivating after a long time of being unused. Images flew past him, driving away the darkness. A wolf. His mind supplied the word as the image flashed to that of another. A lupus. His mind supplied again, gifting him with the realization that he was indeed a lupus. This one was female. This one was dead. His sister. The information was speeding up, suddenly filling him was knowledge that he had been missing. Another wolf flashed by, this time an eremus. The name was supplied almost immediately. Nepara. The name connected to another image. That of fire. Nepara, fire, lupus. He was a fire lupus. Fire…he created fire. Why? He felt himself plunged into a memory. Fire, lapping at his pelt. The stinging sensation, as the fire grew. A burst of flame. The prairie turning to ash. Nepara… the smoke…Leaving. Then what? Annoyance replaced his confusion. He tried to lash at the darkness, but he didn’t seem to have a solid form. This was a dream. The words were whispered into his ears, but were not enough to rouse him. His tail lashed, except he didn’t have a tail. That was not enough to rouse him. This wasn’t reality, but it was as hard to escape from as reality was. The darkness shifted again, becoming a solid, looming form. He tried to back away, but he was rooted to the ground (even though there wasn’t a ground, nor did he have a body to back away with). He felt jaws clamp down on his body, tearing at his flesh, releasing pouring blood. His felt his flesh melting, until he was nothing but bone. The bone soon turned to ash, and he returned to a state of unawareness.
He was in a forest. The trees formed a perfect shelter from the bright sun, and created shadows that allowed them to hide. They were travelling again, although they were being cautious this time. They had smelt another pack, close by. He was leading, although technically he wasn’t dominant, his father was, but it was accepted among the small pack that he was more powerful. He glanced behind him. He saw his mother, trotting behind him. She looked frail and weak, because she was. Her gaze was cold and hard, piercing through his body with yellow eyes. Behind her was his father, he wore a look of dissatisfaction as he always did. He was struggling to keep up, panting hard. He was unfit. Even further away was the two elderly wolves, hobbling along. They were painfully slow, and looked beyond tired. They were incredible skinny, and their eyes were distant. He wondered if they still remember who they were. He wondered how they were even still alive, being as old and weak as they were. He turned his gaze back to where he was walking, being greeted with the sight of Faye, his sister. He paused, hesitant. She was smiling at him, a warm smile that glowed with radiance. Her eyes were happy and trusting. He blinked, his gaze turning to her chest, where a massive gash was oozing blood. Another gash was on her side, also pouring blood. Her fur was stained with the red liquid. She was staring at him now, waiting for a reaction. “You’re dead” He commented, turning around, leaving her behind. His small pack was no longer behind him. He rushed ahead, wanting to escape the echo of his sister. He skidded to a halt, another wolf appearing. Nepara. He swallowed. She didn’t look angry, but she looked disappointed, and her eyes shone with disgusts. Her hackles raised, and she stalked towards him. The forest transformed into flames. Tall, and unforgiving. In this world, he was not fire resistant. Neither of them was. The fire lapped at their fur, turned their flesh into liquid, and once again his bones were being turned to ash, and he lost himself again, in a burst of flame, that led him back to the dark unawareness.
The third time he regained his awareness, he was in his own body. By the prairie, by the small puddle of water where he had fallen into unconsciousness. He was alone. He got up, walking towards the puddle that now seemed miles away. He looked at the waters surface, preparing to drink, when he saw his reflection. His face was half melted, revealing sickly pink skin, and his cheekbones were poking out. His eyes were glowing. Not their usual grey, but red. His reflection grinned at him, revealing rows of pointed teeth. A maniacal laugh escaped his reflection, and it lunged for him, sinking its teeth into his neck.
He gasped, waking up properly. His breathing was irregular, and laboured. He started to panic, trying to take deep breaths, to fill his lungs were air, but it was hard. He couldn’t seem to get any air. His body was shaking violently, and sweat was clinging to him, matting his fur. His skin felt as if it was on fire. He was disorientated, glancing around his surroundings, half expecting some shadowed monster to pounce on him, and tear him apart, until his bones once again became ash. It was night time. It was silent. That felt wrong. Even in the dark, you could hear noise, even if it was only the rustle of grass, or the chirp of insects. He blinked, assuming he was in another nightmare. His surroundings remained the same. He rose to his feet, swaying as he did so. His head was throbbing violently. His thoughts were too muddle, so he was acting on instinct. He approached the puddle cautiously. He watched his reflection for a while, waiting for to change, but it never did. Carefully, he lowered himself, and began to drink. The liquid was nice and cool, and helped his burning fever slightly. He turned away from the puddle, and headed towards the area he knew had been burnt. No wonder it was silent. All the animals had either left or died. He felt the ground crunch beneath him as he walked, unsure of what he was searching for. He realized that he was unaware of what had happened to Nepara. He thought back, trying to remember if he had led her to safety, but the memory was beyond him He couldn’t even recall who he was, not that it occurred to him that it was unusual. Retracing his steps, he headed towards the puddle, but found no trace of Nepara. There had been no charred remains, so she hadn’t burnt to death. Had his thoughts been less muddle, he would have scented the air, and followed her trail, but his mind was currently preoccupied with fever induced memory loss. Once again acting on a power he did not understand, he left the prairie, heading towards the south. The journey was twice as long as it should have been (even though he was unaware of the direction his paws were taking him), as he kept stumbling, and collapsing, or trying to attack shadows that looked like threats in his disorientated mind. It wasn’t until he reached the marshland did he realize this was where him and Nepara had first met, and where she was most likely to return. It was the only territory close to the prairie, but far enough so as not to be found easily, that wasn’t occupied by a pack. His thoughts were becoming slightly less muddled, although he could feel his fever getting worse. His vision was getting increasingly blurry, and all his steps were unsure, and he was shaking uncontrollable. He stumbled towards the marsh, battling to keep his eyes open. Glancing in front of him, he saw the eremus he had been looking for, although he was still unsure as to why. His vision was becoming more blurry, and the ground seemed to be shaking. He could feel his heart beating in his chest. He was going to call to her, but then realized that he had forgotten her name. He blinked, the world spinning around him. Heat was rolling off him in waves, and sweat poured off his body. He was confused. Why was he confused? He let out a sound, somewhere between a whimper and a growl, his body shaking more.

Nepara felt herself in a swirl of mixed emotions as she slowly opened her eyes, something wet startling her as she struggled to keep her balance, forgetting she was up in the air. The eremus gripped tightly as she sighed with relief, her tail whipping back up with the rest of her sheet white form. She blew her blonde tufted hair from her face as the sky slowly let down it's tears of sorrow for her.
"The sky... it's sad... why?" as if to answer her pleas, a noise emitted from below her as she looked down, slowly allowing her body to stretch and bend towards firm ground surrounding the lone tree. Her eyes betrayed her as her gaze met neutral optics and a black pelt... that of an all too familiar wolf. She wanted to be upset, she wanted to be angry and attack him for hurting her like so. But Nepara couldn't bring herself to do so, she felt her whole body convulse as she slowly approached the other wolf, he mouth gaping open in awe once more as she sighed, slowly running her cheek across the left side of his face to rest on his shoulder. The eremus whimpered back as her tail slowly began to raise and wag.
"Leo... I... I thought..." she began before pulling away and placing her forehead on his, then gasping. "Leo! You're burning up!" She rushed off to leave him there to fish behind the large tree as she came back with some moss caught in her maw as she gently squeezed a bit of cool water out of it before dropping it at lifting it back up with her tail as it elongated, wrapping around the moss and placing it a top the lupus' skull.
"I-I'm sorry, I... I should not have... attacked you..the prairie... it's all my fault..." she felt the steady downpour begin as her pelt stuck to her sides and dripped of the sky's tears. "We need to get you out of this rain..." she laughed lightly as she peered around for a place to stay. A couple of mangroves not far from them seemed entangled perfectly for them both to fit into and still have room. She was slow to try and coax Leo to follow her, when she reached the entrance she looked back towards the fire lupus with a shy smile... water dripping from her maw. "H-here... it should be nice and warm and cozy. Don't worry, I'm sure I can find somewhere to stay for the night..." Almost maternal instincts kicking in as she tried to almost mother her friend. Her personality temporarily all serious.

Leo…the name seemed familiar. It was what the female was calling him. Was that his name? It must be. She seemed upset. Why would she be upset? He flinched as her head rested on his shoulders. The touch seemed icy cold. She brought her head towards his forehead, the touch seemed unfamiliar, although it was pleasant. He was disappointed when she withdrew suddenly. Calling the name again. He blinked. Burning up. The image of the fire he caused flashed before his eyes, followed by the image of the dream, where they had both burnt to ashes. He backed away, hackles raising. He stumbled slightly, and struggled to regain his balance as the world swirled around him. He blinked. She was gone. So she was just a dream. He was startled when she made a reappearance, clutching a ball of wet moss in her tail. He felt it rest on his head, and glanced at her, trying to stop the world spinning enough for him to examine her. He knew her. He knew her name. It was in his head, drifting just beyond his reach. She was beginning to stutter now. Attacked him. Was that true? It sounded similar to the dream. Maybe it was real, but it couldn’t be. In the dream they had both been turned to ash, unless half of it was real. He frowned, swallowing nervously, glancing at the shadows as if they were about to attack him. He felt exposed, and vulnerable. Rain? He turned his gaze to the sky, regretting the small action, as it sent the world into a spinning frenzy, causing him to stumble to the side. He hadn’t been aware it was raining. How long had it been raining? He focused, feeling the droplets seem to sizzle on his pelt. She laughed lightly, and started walking towards some entangled mangroves. She turned towards him, with a shy smile, trying to coax him into following. He felt like he was trapped. Was this another dream? Perhaps an hallucination. He felt himself swaying again. If it was fake, he would find out soon enough, but if it was real, he needed to trust the eremus. He padded towards her, examining the mangroves. It seemed safe. He blinked at her words, confused. Why would she stay somewhere else? “There is room for both of us” He pointed out, his words slurring slightly. Surely she was aware that they could both share the same space, if he was aware, even in his disorientated state.

She was unsure. Was Leo okay? The normally fiery bundle of fur usually disliked any sort of physical or emotional attachment to anyone, especially her. What caused him to change now? He seemed distant, she hoped his fever would calm down overnight. Maybe that's all they needed. A good night's rest. She gave a goofy grin as she nuzzled into his side, following him into the makeshift den.
"Okay Leo, but I don't want to hear it in the morning when you wake up and we're huddled together..." she giggled as the roots slowly headed underneath the surface, a spacious and wide opening was revealed as the earth was pact tightly around and over the roots to make a shield between the wolves and the murky waters above. She could slightly hear the sound of rain from outside as thunder roared. She had never been in such a devastating storm before. But her trust lied in the swamp, it would not abandon them to the hands of nature's weather.
She took some space between her and Leo before shaking the remaining water from her fur and laying down a foot or so from him. Nepara was unsure he wanted her close to him. Even if she longed to have him close. Everything in her mind was betraying her, but to the old Leo... she was just being polite and thinking to what his normal reactions would play out as.

He smiled slightly at her words, although there true meaning did not penetrate the fog in his mind. He pushed further into the den, pleased that she followed him. He noticed her blushing, but he thought nothing off it. It didn’t occur to him to think anything of it. His mind was too muddled. He frowned as she shook herself, laying down far from him. He thought back to when she nuzzled his shoulder. She didn’t seem reluctant to be close to him then. Besides, the feeling had been nice. He heard thunder roar outside, and listened to the rain. The storm was powerful. He took a few steps closer to her, suddenly unsure of himself. In the back of his mind, he was screaming at himself for showing weakness, for sacrificing his pride, but it did not register within him. He padded closer, so that their fur was almost touching when he finally settled down. He watched her for awhile, unsure of what to do. He needed sleep, but now that he knew he was in a place he could easily rest, he was reluctant to leave what he thought was reality, and return to those fever induced nightmares. A question presented itself in his mind. It was more of a memory, something he had thought before, but this time, he had no inhibitions to stop him from speaking his mind. “Why were you upset?” He asked, watching to see her reaction. color]

Nepara noticed his uncertainty when he moved close and laid near her, the question coming out suddenly. She was caught off guard as she lifted her head up to look at him and whine slightly as she responded. "Y-you don't remember? We got into a fight and I kinda started it... I'm sorry... maybe I took what you said a bit too seriously... but we're beyond that. We don't need to dwell on the past, now do we?" she smiled again before cuddling closer to him, one of her hooves coming up to his side possessively.
"I love you..." she yawned, dazed as she licked the side of his face, lulled by the pitter patter of the storm outside. "O-of course, as a friend..." she blushed again, trying to cover it up... she didn't want him to become offensive.. at least, not like the old Leo. She shivered slightly as she drew herself into him closer, to try and preserve the heat between their bodies.
"Do you think... we could actually have a pack live here? I think it's nice in all..." the eremus threw out her own question, not expecting an answer or a snide remark. She nuzzled her head under his chin as her snout grazed his soft fur layered on his neck and chest. For once, she didn't care if she didn't end up with another eremus. She just wanted the moment with the fire lupus to last. Would things be different in the morning? Nepara was unsure and was almost afraid to fall into sleep or at least do so and wake up to him the way he used to be. He was much nicer now, but then again, something else was different about him that was amiss. She still missed the old Leo that constantly teased her.
She sighed softly as the night began to takes it toll on her as she drifted into slumber once more, hoping that in the morning the lupus would be okay.

He listened to her explanation, the image of the blaze flashing before his eyes before disappearing into oblivion. He supposed there was no reason to dwell on the past, as he could barely remember it. He could barely remember anything. His name was Leo according to the eremus, but he felt reluctant to use it. He didn‘t want to be deceived. He raked his mind, searching for her name, desperately wanting to know. This female meant something to him, that much was clear, but the details were lost in his mind. He sighed inwardly, as she licked the side of his face. It felt nice. He perked his ears at her words. Love me? He felt something stir within him, but he was unsure of what it was. As a friend. The same thing stirred again, although this time the feeling was unpleasant. He scooted closer towards her, as she rested her head beneath his. The question was bizarre, and unexpected. Or at least he thought it was. Given his current state, the question had every chance of being completely normal. We? Were they making a pack? When did that happen? He felt a memory twitch, but nothing revealed itself. He listened to the storm again and thought. Possible. There was no reason why not, there was fish, and there was prey, and even shelter. It would be a bit dangerous for pups, not that there would be pups. At least, not their pups…Or…He wasn’t sure. He added that to the increasingly long list of things he didn’t understand. He remained silent as she fell asleep. He watched her for a while, taking in her warm scent, that filled his body with pleasure. He examined her, although this time he was not searching for information, rather, he was taking in all the details. Her soft while fur, which reminded him of snow. The small tufts of blonde fur between her ears, that he had barely noticed before. The albino wolf was pretty, it seemed. Earlier, he had noticed her eyes. Like blue orbs, with a magenta centre. Her appearance suddenly seemed fascinating and he documented every small and precise detail, hoping he would remember it once the fever had past. After a while, he rested his head on her soft fur, and drifted into unconsciousness.
He awoke early. The storm was still raging outside, and the sun was just rising, giving very little light. He blinked, noticing his position and frowned. Moving away carefully and quietly, so as not to wake Nepara, he padded outside. His fever seemed to have settled down over night, but his fur was still matted, and he felt sticky with sweat. He let the rain wash over him, hoping to cleanse his body, and his mind. His mind was still rather numb, although it was no longer trapped in a thick cloud of fog, and he was capable of thinking, although his thought process seemed slower than usual, and he felt rather drowsy. He thought back, glad that most of his memories remained intake, although, he was still unsure as to what had happened during the fever, which had caused him to wake up next to the Nepara. Last he knew, he had collapsed, after helping her escape from the fire in the prairie. But now, he was in the swamp, and was lying next to her. It was possible that they had both just collapsed, and ended up tangled in each other, but that didn’t explain how they had got to the marsh. Maybe he had walked this way, and found shelter, before collapsing, and then she had appeared…and what? Slept next to him for no reason. It didn’t make sense. He cursed, letting the word slip out, although it was light and unlikely to wake her, especially as it was muffled by the sound of the storm. What had caused him to get sick? The burning sensation when he eventually stopped the fire. It was linked to his power going haywire. Somehow, he had managed to make himself ill by losing control of his power. He felt a stab of sorrow, and regret. That had been the first time he had lost control of his power, and he had done it in a show of weakness. He was currently mourning for his pride, which he was desperate to revive. He contemplated trying to purposefully create fire, but he was still suffering from the after effect of the illness. He returned to the shelter, lying down away from Nepara. He watched her, surprised when irrelevant facts popped into his head, about the colour of her eyes, and the blonde tuft between her ears. The fact she was an albino. He had never thought of this stuff before, but it seemed as if it was engraved in his thought process, and it was distracting. He wanted to discover why she was here, sleeping with him, but there was little he could deduce from a sleeping body. He felt an emotion stir within him, and he panicked, surprised. He clamped down on it, pushing it back down, deep into oblivion. He was losing control of his emotions and his power, and it was because of Nepara. He growled slightly, tail lashing. He turned his back to her, and fell back into sleep.
(Ok, same goes for you, you can wake him as well if you want)

Birds chirped merrily as the orb of fire rose gently into the sky. The wind was shallow as the trees and small tufts of grass swayed in it's breeze. The white female shifted as the light rays penetrated to her sleeping face.
"Ngh.... wh-huh? W-where..." She slowly got up, nearly bumping her head by elongating last minute. She shook herself as she yawned and stretched, peering around the den to see Leo had moved. When she noticed he was still asleep, Nepara crept out into the morning light. She took a deep breath in as she sighed, taking in the lovely surroundings the swampland provided. She giggled, it was nice to not be traveling alone for once... she like Leo's company. But would he be different when he awoke? And how much different would he be?
She leapt over the side of the small piece of land, sticking her snout into the water as it elongated like a swordfish. She snapped aggressively yet playfully in the water as the fish below swam swiftly away, a couple bobbed to the surface as the red liquid tainted the murky waters near her. She managed to catch a couple whole and a few bits of others here and there. Guess she needed to work on her technique more. She shook the remaining water from her maw as she picked up the fish and dropped it near the entrance to the makeshift den.
The eremus took one or two for herself as she began to much hungrily outside. She began to wonder what would happen between her and Leo now. Would they become closer, or be driven further apart. She debated leaving after she finished, a new goal set in her mind. She thought about what he said about other eremus, true.... she had not looked very hard. Maybe she would part with him and search for her own kind. Even though nepara wanted to be original she also wanted to know she fit in. Maybe... it was for the best.

When Leo awoke again, the sun was pouring in, forcing him to shield his eyes slightly. He experimentally stretched his body, pleased to see that the affects of the fever had nearly worn off. He yawned, and heard his stomach grumble. He hadn’t eaten for a few days now. He had been hunting before the fire, but Nepara had scared it away. And, he hadn’t felt hungry during his fever either. He rose to his feet, and surveyed the den. He noticed that Nepara was gone, and that sent a wave of panic through him, which he quickly dismissed. He didn’t care what she did. She was irrelevant. He told himself, trying to stop the onslaught of emotion. He sniffed the air, noticing her scent was still fresh. She was probably still around then. Not that he cared mind you, but still, it would be interesting to see her reaction to seeing him. He might get some answers as to why he woke up next to her. He licked his fur a few times, the sweat having been drowned off in the rain, yet his pelt was still slightly ruffled. After he had returned his coat back to its glossy, sleekness, he stalked outside. He saw Nepara immediately. She was eating some fish. He raised an eyebrow, smelling the blood on the air, and seeing the mangled remains of the fish. It clearly wasn’t a precise hunt. He watched her for a moment, before sitting down, his tail curling around his paws. He raked his brain for something to say, which didn’t involve the loss of his power, or him waking up next to her. He had decided it was best if he pretended not to remember waking up next to her, after all, he didn’t remember anything else that happened while he was suffering from the fever. A question popped to mind, something she had said as she was attacking him. It seemed a little random, and he couldn’t think of a reason for it to be on his mind, unless they had spoken about it while he was in a fever. Maybe. It might give him some answers too. Besides, he needed to join a pack, and neither of the packs he visited really liked him. Slow down, he thought, this could be all nonsense. Find out more information before you even think about joining. “You mentioned a pack?”

The fire lupus made his appearance as it sent chills down her spine. Since when did he have that effect on her? Nepara shook the feeling almost as soon as it approached. Then another question came and she felt her fur heat up with excitement.
She finished eating before turning to look at him again and smiled "Why, yes I did mention a pack! It will be the best ever and I already know quite a few wolves willing to help too! You could join us when it gets started! It will be loads of fun!" The eremus mused, standing and trotting in a circle before sitting a foot from him, taking a playful pose. "It would be here, ni the swamp! What do you think Leo? You wanna join us? It will be of celebration and party! Let Us Celebrate the Night!" she howled as it resounded throughout the swamp.
She wondered what the other wolf would think of her idea? He was, after all, her closest friend. He would guaranteed a higher position if he could prove himself to her and the other Jester... Jester of Magic! Speaking of said sennyo, she had not seem him recently, she hoped he would make another appearance soon. He had told her that he would help make her dream come true after all... didn't he? Nepara awaited eagerly a reply from her lupus friend. Maybe he needed to look at the rest of the packs before deciding? She hoped he would eventually come back and at least visit them. becoming a leader meant she had to stay put within her territory. That saddened her but brought her a sense of grounding and responsibility she longed for... to lead a pack into the darkness and liven those with dark spirits.

Leo listened carefully, analysing her words. The bit about the other wolves sparked his interest. Something about this pack must be desirable if other wolves were interested, but he still wasn’t convinced. He glanced at her, wondering if she had the makings of an alpha. Would she understand the hardship and responsibility that came with leadership? He wasn’t sure. However, he was aware that it would be unlikely that he would have to follow orders, and he would be more or less, still free if she was leading. Also, he doubted that he wouldn’t be allowed to leave if he changed his mind. It had appeal, that much was certain. “Who are these other wolves?” He asked, licking the fur on his chest, while keeping his gaze on her. He might know some of them, after all, he had come across several loners in his journeys, and it might help him assess the value of this pack. He was just gathering a few bits of information, before he joined. He was still unaware if he would remain a part of this pack in the future. He doubted he would be allowed into the Mafia after his fight with the alpha, and the children wouldn’t trust him, although he had taken a liking to Altan. Still, it seemed he had also taken a liking to Nepara. He hesitated in his thoughts, and stared at her, his gaze revealing nothing of his inner thoughts.

The talk of forming a new pack buzzed into her sonars as she wandered toward the scents that she recognized. The Lupus also had contemplated on beginning her own formidable pack. However she didn't besot over the idea, as it was just a mere thought of starting a Chapter, of tough bitches. Bitches who started no shit, took no shit, and stood up for their freedom. They could be outcasts, unwanted females that were booted for attempted to defy authority and so forth. It would be a unique chapter of sisterhood, and not many wolves would be daft enough to be messing around with that. Females where worse than male when it came to battle, and much more cunning. Despite the strength issue, this was where brains came into play. Pantera grinned at her own thought, but didn't know enough tough gals who'd be interested. She wasn't willing to join a pack, unless she had a commander position or higher, because she felt she was worthy.
The onyx cloud drifted toward the two, her orange eyes soon meeting Leo's, figuring that the guy would easily turn his back on her like he usually did, and took the cowardly way from her path. Not that Pantera was here to stir up turmoil, no siree. She was simply here to pass time, and converse with fellow wolven; if that was okay to do.. Her eyes swayed from Leo, and onto Nepara, and she offered a delighted smile.
A pack huh?
She started, as she stopped and brought up her left paw, and examined a broken nail, down to the nail bed. Oh it was painful alright, and it seered through her soul like a welder would steel. She dropped her paw and looked toward the two once more.
I was thinking of starting a Chapter myself.
She kept it short and simple, didn't want to get into the details. She wouldn't be discriminating if males desired to join, however; she was aiming more or so on female only pack. Males allowed on territory; and for breeding, typically Alpha males or powerful loner males to keep the sisterhood chapter strong.
She offered a smile as she sat a few feet away from the two, in the middle. As if to assess any expression to her speech. Not that she cared, but thought it would be nice to switch off ideas from each other.
