Jazling stood a few feet away from the water. The moon was high in the sky and full. It was just the beginning of spring. Her favorite season had always been spring, as far back as she could remember. There was a slight warm breeze and the air was cool. Just about the perfect time to explore the water a bit, and she jumped in.
Her transformation was a little less painful because her two back legs like many other Caella did not merge together. Though her tail did have to grow longer and into scales and fish tail and her toes knit until they became webbed toes. Her gills immediately went into effect and began to flap open and close like a fish for her to breath under the water. The world underwater was a much different place than above the surface, that was common knowledge for any Cealla.
The moon's glow was shattered as it lit with the darkness under the water and waves of light danced around as the surface overhead moved about. Jazling felt like she was in complete and utter tranquility. She sighed and a few bubbles fluttered from her mouth. If there was one thing she had learned in all six years of her life it would be this, she had freedom and peace in her watery domain. When life got hard, the underwater world was always able to wash away her unhappiness. The water was just her freedom.
As she continued to swim in place under the water, her thoughts began to wander off about a certain Cael in mind. Raynor. There is still nothing in words or physically to give that would equal the amount of appreciation she felt for Raynor. He saved her and her pups, even if they weren't alive. It would not be over rated at all to say that he was indeed her hero. He had even saved her in many more ways than just one. She was no longer a coward and she had gotten to learn many valuable lessons throughout her life. Six years was a very long time to spend alive. Or at least she felt so. Then again, if she were ten years old, six years may not feel so long anymore. But till then, six years will have to be long enough.
Jazling swam up to the surface and she then began to float on her back and used only her tail to swim her around. At the same time, her gills continued to open in close as she breathed in the air and the water. Her green eyes looked up at the sky and they were wide as she took in all of the stars and the moon. Not long after looking at this magnificent view, a song bubbled in her throat and her natural Cael instincts took over. A song of all different notes and unimaginable sounds of beauty and uniqueness began to play out to the stars as Jazling calmly floated on her back and swam with her her tail only, pushing the water around. The words of her song were easily understandable and the song went a little like something like this.
"Oh come, my darling Together we shall dance Under the moon light Or under the sun beams
In the morning dew, I swim with you In the evening darkness I sway with you
Oh waltz with me, my darling Together forever We shall dance into infinity Our love will never end
In the morning dew, I swim with you In the evening darkness I sway with you
Oh come, my darling Together we shall dance In the setting of the sun And in the morning dew
I swim with you..."
Occ: Hey... I kind of like the lyrics in this song xD

It was no doubt this was her true home, she felt at ease and connecting to something more then she had ever in the past and it was as though the fog that often shrouded the land was as much a part of herself as it was of the territory. Swirling over the waves she bent low to tease the water`s surface in greeting, letting the moon light shine through her body, and the sparkles that she reflected brought a smile upon her maw. She had not really bonded as such with any wolves within the pack, but yet she felt a more kindred link through the land with them then she had in the Children. The pack she had left would have been an ideal place for any wolf to live with plenty of support and wondrous lands to live within, but Swalleena wanted something more.
And so I have found it, she thought happily to herself, a soul. It was true, this land seemed to live as though fuelled by the souls of creatures past and almost breathed, an ancient being giving it`s haven to the Centena Accord. It was said that the land protected the wolves that honoured the Accord pledge, and by returning homage to the land the pack members demonstrated respect for their guardian. Fighting only when the call would arise, the wolves kept the sacred lands pure and safe from evil. It was satisfactory enough given the freedom they were awarded the rest of the time, Keinvarii was a gentle and yet firm Queen and Swalleena had yet to make up her mind about their King. Of course she had no choice in the matter, the High Estate would do as they pleased and she trusted in the fact that they would do it with good reason. Happy to count herself among the Noble she danced upon the surface of the waves, weaving in and out of smoke form in the bright moonlight but never allowing herself to fall into the waves.
Swalleena found herself appreciating the traditions being honoured within the pack, for she too felt the importance of connecting with the earth and she could only imagine this was why lupus felt at home within the Accord; those who weaved elemental powers would prosper in such conditions. The cael had a beautiful abundance of territory at their disposal, easy access to a clean and fresh lake that ran deep and long. The skies offered a dazzling view of the lake and as a whisp the mists that shrouded the land called to her very essence. She retained the power to heal wounds with but a touch, and though it was at a cost to her energy it was a sacrifice she would willingly make for the pack. For this reason she remained content to be a Savant Healer, the title sounding Noble and wise and inspired visions of caring wolves in Swalleena`s mind. This was how she imagined herself, caring for those that needed it, this was her calling for indeed her ability to heal was followed by her talent at soothing fears and comforting those with anxieties.
Approaching the recluse island that was said to be the den home of the Lord of Defense she noted a shape moving into the water. The moon seemed to highlight the streaks running down her pelt and she followed the wolf above the water, curious to know who was this cael. The cool colors of the night seemed to highlight the warm flecks of gold in her emerald eyes as she watched the underwater dance with fascination, wondering what it might be like to be able to experience a world that so few wolves would ever see. Swalleena moved to perch on a nearby branch, remaining partially in smoke form even though she weighed in reality very little. At 40 lbs and 48 inches she should have looked twigee, but instead she was the image of pristine and gentle grace, a figure of delicate beauty with an almost haunting presence. However Swalleena was no ghost or dark spirit, merely a wolf seeking a companion on a lonely night in a pack that called down to her very soul. And so on her royal seat she waited for the pretty cael to leave the comforts of the waters, wings wrapped around her body comfortingly.

Jazling was enjoying the beautiful and cool waters. She continued to hum the melody to the song she had just been singing. She loved that song very much. In fact, it was a common lullaby her mother and her birth pack's mothers had sang to their children. It was such a gentle and soothing sound. Not at all acerbic like. Singing the song nearly made Jazling fall asleep as she swam. The longer she thought about this, the more sorrowful she felt about her family. It was not her fault that she had started out so cowardly. It was just the way things had been. Did they even think about giving her a change? Though, suppose they did by not killing her. But it would have very much surprised her if they had the dark enough hearts to kill her. She wondered how her parents and her siblings were doing now. Did they still ever think of her? Or was she something long and gone, away and something just of the past? A memory?
No, Jazling refused that she was just a memory, something her parents washed their paws of. But things had changed, and as unlikely as it seemed, with the personalities of her patents, it was very likely that they indeed did so of her. Jazling sighed and ducked her head under the water for a moment and bubbles sprang out of her mouth and gracefully floated up to the surface and disappeared. She should be happy for them, that her siblings would have a better chance at being the alpha of the pack and her parents, if they were still alive, to get the good litter that they had always wanted. Without her. And Jazling should be happy for herself. She survived on her own, went through many experiences that she would not have had if she were still in the pack and had grown up in to a beautiful and capable Cael. If she were in the pack, she may have still been a coward and may have never grown into the person she was today. And further more, she may have never met Raynor, the Lord of Defense. So all in all, she had done things she would never had if she hadn't gotten the room to grow and learn.
Jazling continued to swim on her back, not really noticing where she was going or how far out she had gone from where she had started to swim. She continued to think about all the good things that happened to her, and the unfortunate but useful events in her longish life. Jazling would have also never gotten into this pack that was so lovely and was very glad that she had chosen it and it had chosen her. Also thanks to the Great Spirit. There was not another pack in the world, including the one she had been born into, that could have been any more perfect for her. And the leaders of the pack were wonderful and kind and she knew that she was able to trust them and the other members of the pack. Everyone was just so wonderful and nice, it was hard to believe that she hadn't heard of the pack earlier or had found it sooner in her life. Jazling really could not think or find a better place for someone like her. The pack lands were also unbelievable and some of the herbs here she had never seen before and she would surely have to learn more about them and possibly use them for healing, even with her power, she still enjoyed having the knowledge of knowing what herbs do what and all of the sort.
Jazling decided to take a look around and noticed how far away she was from the main land and was exceptional close to an island. And like a Cael pup who would never wish to get out of the water, she took a moment to dive down under a few feet then with all her speed and strength, jumped out of the water, feeling so free and nice. It was as if everything froze for a moment. The moon was bright and made Jazling look so bright and lively, and the air and water around her made her feel so alive. Slowly time began to thaw and she flipped over backwards graceful and dived down back into the water. It was moments like that, that everything was just so perfect and life was just so wonderful and magical. Its unlike anything else, except for perhaps love. And now, with the feeling still so alive inside her, she swam with wonderful speed towards the island. Jazling climbed up onto the sandy shore of the island. She was once again glad that she had her back legs and her tail. All she had to do now was pick up her tail a little higher so it would not drag on the ground. Which was quite a word of energy in it self. And then, something caught her eyes. In the mist above, there seemed to be a figure in the trees. Once she looked a bit harder, it was in fact a wolf above her.
For a moment this shocked Jazling but she then quickly recovered and but a kind and soft smile on her face. "Oh, hello there. I don't think I have ever quite seen a wolf like yourself. I am Jazling." She called up to it. She hoped that it was not just a strange misunderstanding with her eyes and the mist, she would have felt quite embarrassed if she had started to talk to something that was not there. Jazling decided to sit down and she wrapped her fish tail around her front paws. She tried to study the possible figure above her. There was a slight outline of what possibly could be wings. A winged wolf, she thought happily to herself. She had met a few of those but non of them were quite like this one. The wolf seemed slightly wispy like lovely mist around them. It was like she was not exactly 100% there. And that, was not something Jazling had ever in all of her life, had seen before. The Priestess was excited by this discovery. She loved learning about things she had not known about before, unless of course if it was something to do with her birth family and pack or her last mate or any of them, but something out of the ordinary or even just something extraordinary. The figure looked so kind and such, she wouldn't have been surprised if the figure was some sort of messenger from the Great Spirit. But what message would the Great Spirit have for her that would be so special? Jazling continued to sit patiently, awaiting the figure's answer. If the figure was indeed there.

Who only knew how old this land really was? The whisp let the mist caress her lithe body, loving the way it encircled and entangled itself into her very essence bringing her stories of ancient battles past, lost love and fierce loyal families and she breathed a quiet sigh of wonder. Perhaps it was her imagination, or maybe it was something deeper that caused her thoughts to picture such mystical happenings from the past, either way it seemed appropriate for the land bellow her. Towering cliffs with smooth faces borders majestically along the lake’s shore, their surfaces covered in moss and grass and dotted with boulders that looked as though they had been carved by ancient lupus. The whisp had seen Keinvarii add a picture on a particularly large rock depicting the pack’s survival and history the last week as the fog had shrouded the great alphess’ body. The forest stood at one end of the lake, thick and filled with mysterious treasures it extended for many miles and from it gigantic trees rose, their bark almost red and towering high in the sky they too stood watch over the pack. The foliage was rich, the earth bountiful and humid, the prey for the wolf’s hunt continuously plentiful and the air clean and clear.
There was little wonder why so many came to seek entrance into the pack; it was something that just called to the souls of wolves with true hearts and noble idealism. The new King seemed to fit well into the picture since his impromptu introduction to the pack, but Swalleena had never questioned his presence as such matters were the personal concern of the High Estate. Besides, she thought with a wistful smile, he was strong and handsome and no doubt there would be the sound of royal puppy yips to fill the lake. Swalleena dearly adored pups, they were so young and innocent and depended so much on their elders for guidance, comfort and protection.Word had also traveled to her ears that the pack had a new Priestess, a cael if the rumors were true, and the Savant Healer wondered if this female that she had been observing was indeed she. If she was then it was to her that Swalleena was to answer to, and so it only made good sense that she should build a rapport with the individual in question, perhaps she had orders to give to Swalleena? That certainly sounded exciting, she had yet to receive any specific direction, but some sense of guidance might prove beneficial in her opinion.
Caught up in her thoughts she did not notice the cael exit the water and therefore was certainly surprised to hear the other female address her. Perking up immediately she glanced bellow and decided that there was simply to much fog to get a proper view of the other wolf. In an elegant twist she evaporated into smoke form, twisting around the tree’s gnarly trunk to make her way to the ground in a fluid and rapid succession of movements. Her movements never appeared hurried even though Whisps were naturally graced with notable increased speed abilities because she controlled the movements. Extending a slim paw she touched based with the springy humid ground and glanced about her, moving towards the female. This cael, like most she had met, was very pretty, but it was her eyes that struck the whisp as the most notable. Bright and vivid green they almost glowed from her dark blue pelt and Swalleena smiled, they were gentle eyes all the same. The whisp herself possessed green emerald eyes that shone much like the gems with bright golden flakes that danced merrily in their depths. Her fur was an almost transparent white and undertones of bruised violet were visible in the creases and shadows.
As she moved closer her pelt swayed gently in the breeze, giving off the impression of an almost ethereal disposition but the genuine smile of greeting was real. With a delightful curtsy to the other wolf she said, her voice soft and lightly caressing, “Hello Jazling, tis a delight to make your acquaintance, your name is lovely. My name is Swalleena and I am a whisp and one of the pack’s Savant Healers. Pardon my forthcoming comment, but might you be the Priestess that I have heard word of?” She tipped her head questioningly, her wings and tail fading in and out of smoke form as the mist pulled at the edges of her being invitingly. She rather hoped this cael was indeed the Priestess, she seemed like a pleasant individual and if her instincts about her were right, and they tended to be, the whisp believed she would have no trouble answering to her at all.
