I will link you via pm too just in case it get's bumped down/hidden] The dense forest pines sang with great relief of the spring arising. The sun high up in the sky as the dark clouds covered it to let the pack lands get some rest from its harsh rays. Crow slowly trudged along the beaten path, something on his mind. He continued until he was mysteriously shaded. He looked up into the great depths of the scenery above as a light drizzle began and hit his snout. He promptly sneezed and shook his pelt of the intruding water. The sprinkle soon became a downpour on his body. He began to wonder where he might find some dryer grounds. I wonder if... he thought to himself as he spotted a nearby cave and made a run for it. Usually fond of water, the large yagi could not muster why of all the days he wasn't keen on being sopping wet. Guess his genetics still tore through somehow. He slipped on loose dirt as it soaked up all the clear rainwater. The male landed face first into a huge pile of mud. Just what the yagi needed... Now he would have to spend hours cleaning his pelt out. Though Crow wasn't big on this, it kind of reminded him of the older days, from last year. When he met Tor and when he didn't care what he appeared as, when he had no experience and no responsibilities. The male sighed as he slowly lifted himself from the puddle, his whole bottom half drenched. Frustrated again, the wolf shook himself... but still had the dark murky color attached to him from the shoulders down. "Guess now is as good as anytime to get to dryer land..." He sighed bitterly as he solemnly made his way towards the mouth of the cave, the rain pelting him as he simply shrugged it off... he didn't want to slip again. He would take his time and make his way easily. He slowly padded into the cold and dark carvern, shaking his pelt from excess water again, the droplets falling from his horns and muzzle still as he sat and turned to watch the rain at the cave's mouth. Not bothering to see if it was already occupied or if someone else was stranded in the cave with him in the darkness. There he began to ponder where the circus would travel next, if Tor would be happy with Lio or someone else besides himself, and if he could still...could he? He let out a low howl as he began to form notes, and for the first time in a long while... the yagi began to sing. "If the world stopped turning, If the end were today, could you hold up, If I told you I would stay. I would tell you 'it's alright', I would sing you to sleep at night, I would make sure you would make it, let us be together or say goodbye. let us be together if not 'it's alright' let me say goodbye, let...me" Crow had paused as he wiped a stray tear or two from his eyes. So he had not lost the power to be graceful in battle and still kept the power to sing well for a yagi. What was he thinking anyways, falling for a cael that could not hear his beautiful voice anyways?! He howled again in sorrow as he wrapped his tail across his paws and shivered. Right now, he only wanted her to be his friend again. Right now, he was just cold and right now, he wanted everything to be alright.[/scrolly] |
