How much time, Isealdyr was not entirely sure. All she knew was that she was a grown female now, almost three years of age, and barely known. She had every chance to leave if she so wished, but now what was the point? She knew nothing of her parents now except fleeting memories and painful images. She could barely see her mother's face in her mind. It was easier just to concentrate on life now. She had been with the Alliance, and now the Accord, and kept mostly to herself. No point in making a mountain out of a molehill. Aowyn followed the albino female dutifully. A yawn escaped her maw as she wandered through the packlands; she hardly knew any of the wolves, and she didn't mind it that way. She wasn't a princess here and she couldn't be expected to be treated as one. Her white paws hit the ground softly, leaving very light impressions. Aowyn was her constant companion, and the only one who really knew her. Though she was part of the pack she kept her distance, only coming when she had to, and leaving rabbits here and there to contribute. She had taught herself all she knew, and she was content with that. Life was normal now for her; this routine, as mundane as it was, was normal. Wake up, hunt, feed, explore, go to sleep. She was constantly by the side of the lake too, her own paws dipping into the crystal depths as Aowyn, now fledged from her downy chick feathers zipped through the water, catching fish. She had grown accustomed to their tiny bones and peculiar taste, and quite enjoyed them now. She spent her nights curled up in a den near the water, with her daemon snuggled into her long, snow white pelt. So today was like no other as she came to the side of the lake, dipping her paws into the water. Even her pads were a pinkish colour, her rose eyes staring out across the water. Thankfully the sun was not up too high, or else the glare would have injured her sensitive eyes. Aowyn was in the water already, swimming past the fish that resided there. She doubted today would be any different, but on her way to the lake she had seen a patch of beautiful flowers that had never been there before. She knew that path like the back of her paw. An omen? Isealdyr wasn't one to believe in such things. xxx

What do you say to this being a get to know each other thread, the kidnapping one would be between Red and Isy I think in another incident? The afternoon was pleasantly warm, a slight chill still in the air but the brilliant sun on the Queen’s back sufficing to keep her warm as she gingerly moved towards the lake. Her body was quite swollen with the litter she harbored lovingly within her and a peaceful smile rested on her maw as she walked. The pups were growing heavy to carry around and she could no longer run, her day spent at an almost turtle’s pace compared to her normal travels and Acelan was just as happy since it meant she would not wander too far from the den. If the weight of them was any indication then this litter would be a strong bunch which filled her heart with contentment, Keinvarii wanted nothing better than to gift her pack and her mate with healthy heirs to help them all to prosper into another age. One day one of them would be in charge of the pack and they would have ever so much to learn, their little minds would be filled with tender love and instructional education that would, one day, turn them into fine adults and grand leaders. Moving through the rushed that bordered the edges of the serene lake she paused as a familiar smell came to great her senses, a scent she had been aware of before as being a pack wolf, but an individual she had not really met before. The situation was rather odd to say the least, but granted the Accord had some rather recluse individuals that thoroughly enjoyed the privacy that living at the lake could afford them, and the Queen did not mind as long as they contributed. That was the way of her pack, there was a liberty in their ranks not often seen in others and in such a vast territory most had their own nooks and crannies in which to seek solace. The lake was a place of healing and soul searching, mos that were drawn to it were noble souls, some gentle and shy and others, like her beloved Acelan, were more assertive in their ways. If they all stood together, they formed a strong force in themselves though it certainly pained her that she did not have more Knights to protect their lands. Peering cautiously through the thick reeds, her vibrant blue eyes fell upon a white wolf, her fur pristine and almost ethereal in quality as she moved by the edge of the lake, the mist of the day still not clear from the shore. Farther away in the water a creature swam, one that Keinvarii had never seen before and she wrinkled her nose in puzzlement, was this the odd scent she had been noticing more of late? The small black and white animal seemed to be a bird of sorts, and it appeared as though wolf and creature were interacting, was this perhaps one of the elusive Dajas she had heard others speak of in her own travels? Moving out from the reeds as lithely as she could given her condition, she gave a soft bark of greeting, tail swishing rhythmically behind her. Her voice however came out firm despite her vulnerable state, “Good day there, I am Keinvarii and though I can smell traces of my pack on you I do not remember your face, might you give me the honors of introducing yourself and your companion.” She looked over the other female’s shoulder with curiosity, a tilt of her head indicating her interest as she sat down with a tired sigh, the terrain wasn’t the easiest to climb over.

Isealdyr had known the previous leader, Magispar, but hadn't really met the new leader. Maybe once or twice in passing. She kept herself confined pretty much to the lake, and made sure she didn't get underfoot. She barely noticed the rustling of the rushes as the queen approached, though soon the smell of female, rank and pup was thick in her nostrils. Isy lifted her head, turning towards the source as she heard a brk. A female, larger than Isy herself stood there, her belly swollen with pup. She was beautiful, and Isealdyr instantly knew this female was the leader, despite having not met her. She had always believed in the equality of females and males, but the female before her, though heavy along in her pregnancy certainly showed these characteristics, even in her posture. So Isy dipped her head, her own rose eyes loweed from the female's blues. She didn't say anything as the female approached, though Aowyn slid towards the bank of the lake, hopping up and waddling up beside Isy's feet. Her head was framed with gold as she stared at the wolf with large black eyes. 'Alpha?' The single word rang through Isealdyr's mind as she watched the female gingerly approach. An assertive yes was sent back to the penguin beside her, and Aowyn chirped a small greeting, lowering her head towards the female. 'Say hello?' Again, Isy's reply to the bird's thoughts was silent to anyone but them, telling the small bird that she was to wait first. And soon they were being spoken too. Aowyn moved forward a bit, as if to shield Isealdyr from the pregnant queen. The action brought a small smile to Isealdyr's face; of course her daemon would be the one to think a pregnant female would mean harm to them. Her mind voiced these, and the penguin found herself staring between the two quizzically. "My name is Isealdyr, or just Isy if that suits you. My companion is Aowyn. She would introduce herself, but she not very comfortable speaking to those whom she does not know. A bad habit, I apologise, my lady," she replied with another dip of her head. Aowyn's tail feathers ruffled at the words, and she chirped towards Isy, her mind throwing some rather nasty words at the wolf. It only took her a moment to block her mind, and with an exasperated snort Aowyn waddled back to the water, sliding into it. She stayed near the shore, staring at the two. "I apologise, she... well, neither of us as used to other wolves. I used to know Magispar. She found me by the river as a pup. I... I help hunt. I leave rabbits for you, and Aowyn catches fish by the dozens. I am sorry that I have not made my prescence more known." In truth, Isealdyr liked the quietness, but she also didn't want other wolves prying into her life. It had taken her some time to adjust to the new lands, and though she remembered what had happened to her, it brought back bitter memories and sadness, things which she did not like to relive. "If you are hungry, Aowyn can catch you some fish, if it pleases you." xxx
