"Ah,so this is lake Amarathyst,eh."Rasskal said to himself out loud.He had heard good things about the lake, but had assumed they were exaggerations. But as he looked around at the old vast oaks, the enormous cedars, and plentiful bushes that jostled for positon in the sun. Also the lake reflecting light, and the mist mixing together make a beatiful sight. But it was the sheer number of prey in the forest that made it amazing! He had practically tripped on some deers on the way to this spot, and the synesingers literally lined up to be eaten. He had of course, replicated the pattern of seeds,so that when he curled up in a ball, they flocked to him.But their were dangers, getting sucked into the marsh, the mist confusing you and making you bump into a tree, and getting knocked out, being easy prey, drowning, and worst of all the roots!Rasskal had been trying to slice off of a root his paw had been snagged under for a hour or two,and had almost gotten it off.He was here so he could join a pack.He would miss freedom, but being in a pack was safer.Plus,he had never formal ly learned to talk, and had next to no social skills. This would be a learning expirience. That wolf Kenivari,Kaliviri,Kalamari or whatever her name was has going to officially put him in the pack.He caught a glimpse of a green gray pelt.Best make myself presentable he thought. To late,a wolf was steping from the shadows.

It was out of the ordinary and rather peculiar for the Queen was a very hardy and healthy lupus with added power strength that had been gifted to her by a lumen seasons ago. In addition, she had gained a bit of weight in her midsection, nothing extreme as of yet and might have been attributed to her over eating… Occasionally grumpy she had even snapped at Acelan yesterday without much cause and she was beginning to think that their union may have indeed taken fruit within her body. The idea of being pregnant was mildly frightening, mostly because she feared something happening to the pups, but all in all she was overjoyed inside for it meant that she would have heirs to give to the pack and that she would be able to fulfill nature’s calling that demanded she have her own brood before her time passed. Walking out of the dense temperate rainforest she looked upon the vast expanse of the magnificent lake that graced the heart of her pack lands and smiled, allowing the breeze to come and tousle the soft downy white fur on her cheeks. Her black nosed took in the fresh humid scent as a hawk flew overhead in the blue sky that was but lightly dotted with fluffy soft white clouds. In the distance she could see a loon swimming around the lake, small babies upon her back as her mate fished for food not far off and she laughed, so the creature had indeed found herself a lover as well in the winter months! Feeling in better spirits now that she was closer to the lake she trotted closer, paws touching upon the smooth rocks that lined the shore as she slowed down and took in the sight of the small crashing waves that lapped hungrily at the shore. The water was a dark blue and reflected the sky on it’s surface, the liquid relatively calm today as the wind took a break. Moving confidently into the shallows she slowly allowed the cool water to travel up her legs and to reach out at her stomach, refreshing and fresh it took away the dirt from her pelt and invigorated her senses. Moving deeper she soon needed to paddle to keep afloat, leaving a trail of ripples as she passed through the water, not but the sound of birds singing to disturb her peace. Having cleaned her pelt sufficiently she leisurely retreated back to the shore, shaking herself out as droplets of crystalline water flew into the air, reflecting back the light of the day. Up ahead a figure loomed, the distinct shape of a lumen visible on the shore and at first she though it was her good friend and confidante Evelyn however upon further inspection she noted it was a stranger, one whom she was not familiar with having seen in the neutral area of her land where she allowed strangers to roam in safety. Walking forward with sure footed and confident steps her vibrant blue eyes gleamed with interest, she had not seen another lumen in the area before and she wondered what this one might want. A solid and yet friendly bark came from her throat as she finally came into range, her dull green and grey pelt without shine but bouncing with thick softness. Her voice came out evenly, “Good day my fine fellow, what brings you so near to the Centena Accord lands? I am Keinvarii, Queen to the Accord, might you need assistance with anything?” She gave him a genuine smile of welcoming, her tail still raised to assert her own rank while she remained unaware of this male’s intentions.
