She spent her days hunting and gathering herbs to help the pack members remain healthy. During the spring time it was easier to gather many herbs but at the same time she had to be careful to leave seedlings and many of the new sprouts so they would have the growth of the herbs throughout the summer and into fall when they would become sparse once more. Between that and watching as her pups began to learn how to fly, just as her mate was attempting to re-learn how to fly. Tinka herself felt jealous each time she took to the skies because her mate might not ever be able to simply carelessly lift into the sky, to see the brightest blue when the sun rose, and the dark royal blue as the sun descended. Or fly close to the twinkling stars, and brush the clouds around his wings. She had made sure that she did not fly around him as not push it in his face that she could, she walked more, turning the activity into something a little more graceful then most keiyou who lumbered about on their four feet on the ground.
Her sons and daughter would be nearing adulthood soon, and Tinka was amazed at their growth, and just how fast things had moved. It seemed like just yesterday she had given birth to the three bundles of joy of her and her mate. It was not too long ago that she had also discovered Reynard’s tryst with Aurora either, but she had pushed that incident far away. In fact she had pretty much forgiven all parties, although she did not speak to Aurora it was not out of any desire to be mean or isolated, quite the contrary. She wanted to be close to the other female, she wanted her to come back and have things be as they were. Aurora had now had two litters, and Tinka felt better prepared to speak to her now, knowing how she had obviously felt when Nocht and Altan had grown up and did not need her, for she was experiencing that now…and it made her want another litter of puppies. Her heart ached to nuzzle another batch of offspring, another set of pups to carry on Reynard’s line. Not that he did not have plenty of pups to do so, between Nocht, and Altan even though they were adopted, and gorgeous Angel, and Halcyon, Loca, and Blaisen but now he also had two other daughters..but even that knowledge did not stop her from wanting more pups.
She sighed as she slowly walked through the forest this evening, the stars just beginning to peek out from a now darkened sky, and her head raised as she walked, although keeping a slow pace as to not knock her slightly extended wings into anything. It would seem being a mother, and having her past as well as all the things that had happened with her mate recently had aged the Queen, she was no longer the innocent female that she may have seemed when she first arrived. Her body had filled out more with the coming of the pups, but by no means could she be called anything other than slender, but she moved with more knowledge of herself, and her place. She was Queen and by being such she was also the mother figure for the pack, injuries, illnesses, problems, these things were brought to her attention by those that trusted her, and if they put their trust in her Satinka had no problems taking care of those under her charge. She was a fierce mother, and healer, and she had no intention of giving up any more patients, or family to that beast called death. Even though she had lost a patient a few months back who wasn’t even a member of the pack it still haunted her.
She looked around for where her mate might be this evening, although they shared a den, most of the pups had found their own sleeping quarters now, as it was hard to fit ten pairs of wings into one den, she and her mate had been graced with quiet time. But with the coming of warmer weather she knew Reynard would be stubborn enough to be out patrolling the borders, and thinking about the future and all that could happen during the upcoming year. She stopped for a moment and exhaled, there was a time when the night might have enticed her to stay in her den, but now she seemed unafraid, and not so much that she thought that nothing could happen, quite the contrary she simply refused to be run by her fears and things that went “bump in the night”. Her eyes scanned the sky above her and she flapped her wings to stretch them out before she lifted off into the sky. For a long moment she felt guilt stab at her heart but she knew she could not stop from flying. It was ingrained within her mind as a keiyou to love the sky and she could not imagine not taking to the sky at least once a day.
As she took to the sky and flapped her wings, feeling the uplifts and wind pushing through her pelt her tongue lollied from her muzzle into a happy smile. She made a few yips and barks as she soared over the skies, the meadow and rolling hills below her seeming to blend into one large scenery. But above her that is where she truly found beauty and her eyes reflected the stars, it was one peaceful night amongst many she had had within the territory she had decided to call home. It would be a short flight but a flight none the less. The only thing that would have made it better was her mate soaring beside her, but just as she knew it broke his heart to not be what he once was, so it broke hers too, knowing that she may never share the skies with the lanky orange and black male who had long since captured her heart, An errant tear slipped it’s way down the side of her face and fell from the sky and down to earth, a gift one might think from the tragic flying Juliet. ooc: Figured I'd shove Altan in here, he needs to socialise with members of his pack a little more! [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,450,true][tr][td][atrb=background,http://i453.photobucket.com/albums/qq254/Eldarwen5/Wonder%20Why/Tables/Altan2Mid.png]A L T A N DON'T SAY THINGS WON'T GO MY WAY
Altan still hadn't exactly settled back in at home. The young lyxxus knew there was no way he was leaving again and yet he couldn't help but feel a little out of the loop, as selfish and childish as it sounded, it was down to all these damn pups around, what use was he now? Reynard had a ton of real pups and Aurora now even had a litter of pups that she hadn't abandoned. From what he could tell entire pack was all happy and joyous about it, all apart from him.
Someone would possibly be a little shocked by this turn of events though. Here was Altan, the sociable attention seeking of two often found alone whereas his brother, Nocht, the quiet isolated one frequently played the part of happy sitter to those pups and had better friends within the pack than Altan had. He personally hadn't questioned this strange turnout, though perhaps someone else within the pack had. Maybe even Reynard himself could have been concerned, the lyxxus wouldn't actually have known. As much as he loved the keiyou, there was a slightly envious side of Altan that hadn't allowed him to actually settle back in, and it wasn't just those pups it was the fact that he was only a hunter now.
He hadn't put that ego of his aside and it was what led to many evenings like this one. Altan would spend time helping the pack, doing things that needed to be done and then having too much time left to himself to do nothing in. He had long since learnt his way around the lands, cheeky explorations as a pup had helped with that, though it didn't stop him still wandering around the lands, whether a walk, run or climb something to keep himself occupied for a little while.
This evening he was simply walking, a calm pace with an empty mind. He kept alert, just in case anyone else was about, no matter what jealousy he felt he wouldn't turn down a chance for company, he didn't really like being alone so much, would have stayed away from the pack for longer if he did. Sure enough though that alert nature soon drew his attention to something as further ahead he caught sight of someone leaping into the sky. A keiyou that was certain though from this distance and with them soaring into the sky, Altan wasn't actually entirely sure who it was. There wasn't much he could do about it though, and after watching for a moment, simply continued with his walk now with another thought, another slightly envious one. Surely it would be fun to fly.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,230,true] | [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,500,true][atrb=background,http://i600.photobucket.com/albums/tt87/Tye-Lily/Comissions/tinka3.jpg] [scrolly:h(171),w(420),sy] Satinka had been flying on auto pilot per say. She was doing a lot of thinking about the size of her family, and not the pack sense of family. Reynard was a fertile male, and she knew in addition to Angel and their three children together he also had two more with Aurora. Now this did not make Altan or Nocht any less members of their family but she had to admit maybe she hadn’t done all she could for the two males whom Reynard considered his sons. After all, she and Nocht had a very…tumultuous relationship with one another. It had never seemed to go particularly well whenever they were around each other, most of the time because she always saw him as an obstacle to her doing her job as a nurse. As for Altan, she had never even met the younger male, when she had come into the picture it would seem he was heading out of the pack lands about the same time, and during that time it was none of her business to ask where and why he was going anywhere. It almost made her feel guilty, she hadn’t tried to interact with Aurora’s pups either but from what her own young ones said, relations with their half siblings were less than pleasant. Only Angel and Nocht had stepped up to the task of lovingly taking the youngsters under their figurative wings.
She made a slow descend, much like she had seen Yueh do…although he tended to dive bomb the earth making everything on it shake with an abundance of force. Where as Satinka gently descended, and put her paws out into a slight running motion so that even as the ground reached up to seemingly meet her descent she could still keep moving albeit the pace of a fast trot per say. In the night with the moon above her pelt, between the whites, creams and grays she seemed to blend entirely into something forged by the moon, and with eyes the color of a cloudless beautiful sky she knew and had known for some time why Reynard had fallen for her. To her it might have been strictly physical on his end but to her, he was her world. He had given her everything and more and for that she had loved him for quite some time now. She was about to find something to eat, or perhaps go on the hunt for some herbs she knew where easier to find during the night time when she was aware of another being not so very far from her. While the scent seemed to be slightly mingled, some of it was varied, places that weren’t familiar but most of it was that of a pack member.
A slow smile spread across her face, she enjoyed the time with the pack mates, many of them had been overjoyed to have their leader have new pups and the storytellers had made it a point to tell them plenty of brave and courageous, even funny tales that kept them talking for hours. Even the hunters and warriors were all taking turns with them, but Tinka rarely got a moment with just another pack member without the pups, and she felt like it would be more than a pleasant experience, and so she turned her body and began to head off toward the scent and the few sounds she heard. Whoever it was, was not trying to be stealthy or hunt anything because their pace, scent and sounds told her otherwise, and for a moment she felt like she might be hunting something. She chuckled for a long moment and then saw the color of the wolf in front of her. He was very much so male, and reminded her for a long moment of Nocht. But this male was definitely not Nocht which led her to believe the male she was looking at was Atlan.
She cleared her throat and sat back on her haunches, having quit followed him. She didn’t know if he would stop and turn around, after all if he was anything like his brother he would keep walking, or turn around and give her the silent treatment. She was not so sure she could deal with two Nochts if she was honest with herself. She had come to care about the moody dark red male, and she would never want anything to happen to him but she did not think he thought of her as a mother figure. To Nocht she was the Queen, Reynard’s mate, and a healer but not a mother, at least not to him, and for Satinka that was fine. Coming into a mixed family was always difficult, she could tell that from the pack she grew up with but there was often very little you could do about it. So in this instance she decided to put a bright smile on her features, which brightened her eyes and she wagged her tail, it slithering against the ground beneath her. Her voice trickled out over the night to make it to his ears without her having to feel as though she were shouting at him as she reached out for the first attempt at communication..
“Hello, Altan is it? Please forgive me if I don’t have it entirely correct…my name is Satinka, I am Reynard’s mate and I have been wanting to meet you for some time now. I know..well I heard you had left, did you journey far? See many great things?” She couldn’t help but to tell the truth, Tinka was never one to lie about anything, not knowingly at least. She knew that Reynard considered Altan a son, even if it wasn’t by blood and so Satinka felt like it was not only her duty but pleasure to know every younger wolf, pup, or anyone else he considered family. It was very important for a Queen to be well informed about her pack. Reynard had already trusted talking to her about several matters involving the pack and to give him a well thought out opinion that could truly be used it had to be backed up by information. So as much as anyone thought she was just his mate, or just the mother to his pups, or just a healer it went far beyond that in actuality. She was more than content to stay at his side for as long as he needed or loved her and with their ever growing family she could not help but to feel secure and proud of the pack she called home and family. It wasn’t really too often that similarities were discussed between Altan and his brother Nocht. Anyone who knew the pair knew that their differences ran not only in appearances but in their actual personalities as well. Nocht with his dark red coat was certainly different to the bright, vivid shade that was Altan’s fur and respectively one was serious and quiet whilst the other was far more sociable and attention seeking. In fact based purely upon appearance traits that they shared, well it was simply their eye colour and of course the white mark upon their heads, though each boy did have a different shape.
Now in all honesty, Altan knew it himself, he was probably far more likely to be compared to Aurora in appearance as opposed to his brother. Even if he wanted to, he couldn’t deny the fact he had inherited some of his mother’s genetics, one glance at the pair and you could easily hazard a guess at them being related, no matter how he viewed the female. Perhaps it was good for Aurora to have one tie to her son, though Altan personally wouldn’t consider that fact nor would he agree with it either. He had been perfectly fine with simply Reynard, and of course sharing his father figure with only Nocht and Angel.
The young lyxxus continued upon his walk now, quickly choosing to ignore the flying figure above him. Whilst they may have technically been in the same area of the lands, in truth they were far away from each other, one soaring through the sky the other walking along the ground, there was no way for him to ever reach the other wolf even if he had reason to. Fortunately Altan didn’t really see their being a reason, for a wolf to so boldly move through any part of the pack’s lands, ground or sky was a rather foolish thing to do unless they actually belonged there and as he had already realised, there wasn’t anything he could do if they didn’t.
A while into that walk Altan became distinctly aware that he was no longer alone, there was someone upon the ground with him. With winds blowing the wrong direction it was of course mainly that clearing of the throat that gave his company away, and the young lyxxus hastily came to a halt, head turning to look over his shoulder to catch sight of a keiyou. Perhaps it was the same one he had seen in the skies earlier on, the very company he had been sharing all this time. That didn’t matter though, and he listened as she began to speak and introduce herself.
Now whilst Satinka had needed to guess whether or not she was looking at Altan, the lyxxus certainly only needed the one shot. He had been confident before she even spoke her name that he was now in the company of Satinka. She was the Queen of the pack after all, a fairly important figure and one he ought to be able to recognise. On top of that although he had never spoken to her, he knew that she was Reynard’s mate and that he felt meant she deserved more attention than simply the fact she was Queen, others may not have realised it, but Altan had a lot of respect for the red keiyou.
Now Satinka would be in for a surprise if she was expecting anything like another Nocht. As already mentioned the two brothers whilst close to each other, were very different and even with his hidden envy, Altan was still far more talkative, especially now he was in a better mood at having been recognised by someone. "You guessed right, I’m Altan" He confirmed his identity for her.
Whilst having been identified was a rather pleasant thing, someone other than Nocht, Reynard and Aurora knew who he was, Altan found a far bigger surprise from the statement that Satinka had wanted to meet him. "Really, you have?" He couldn’t help but question it, if only to be confirmed to boost that ego of his a little bit more. And then with more words, his mood continued to improve. Reynard evidently had spoken about him, even though he had been gone for a while and in that time he had acquired a number of other pups. It was a lovely thought; that clearly Altan still mattered to him.
"Yes I have been away for a while." Now that didn’t need to be confirmed really, she already knew that fact as she had heard it from Reynard and hadn’t seen him at all for quite some time. "I visited lots of different places. Some of them are really different to here actually, like further up North, it’s colder and they have way more snow." She hadn’t really known how to approach Altan, but in taking a interest in him she had gone about it the right way. Another chance to talk about those little adventures and the knowledge he had gained was good for him. He had of course matured a little though, and wasn’t about to continue rambling on about every single little detail of his travelling as he may have done when he was younger.

Throughout her time in the Valley she had tried to assimilate as much into the pack as possible. Her natural friendly nature did most of the work for her and she became aware of the fact that many wolves she had run into were enchanted by her ability to almost immediately care for them, to show them compassion and love. She supposed, now at this point in her life she could look back and see that she was always made for something softer, the gift of healing, to be a mother, and many other things. A look of sadness overcame her heart as she thought of her mother and how much she missed her, and her many siblings. Not that she didn’t have a fulfilling life here in this pack with her own mate and children and she knew she could never go back, and never be happy with the past she could not help but mourn the loss of her mother, who was more frightened than she was when learning to fly. Her mother who always looked at her pups with a knowing air of their future, and who had love shining in her eyes for her father who broke many a rule to continue to love her. A soft exhale of breathe was the only clue she gave that she might be thinking of something else.
As she looked at him, trying to learn more about him from his appearance Altan was essentially an enigma to her. His disappearance and her lack of interaction with him made it difficult to ascertain anything specific about him other than his physical features. She had never known Aurora’s mate who fathered Nocht or Altan but she could see the similarities between both males and their mother but she could see that Altan was a bit closer to the physical looks of his mother. Although their personalities seemed entirely different from each other and even what she knew of Aurora which only made her more curious than she had been to begin with. It would seem that the male in front of her had a nice temper and disposition which made Tinka want to hear more about his travels and more about himself. She was more than thankful for her mate as she looked on the smaller lyxxus, Reynard had gone beyond himself to raise so many small ones, not only his own daughter but others as well. He was not only the father to his own but a father to the entire pack and she knew in that moment that they were a match made by the Great Spirit. For only such a being could bring them together to be the perfect pair to lead a pack, not only as leaders but as a mother and father to those who needed them.
She gifted him with a very bright and genuine smile as he confirmed that he indeed was who she had said he was which made her feel better. She could not even begin to imagine how humiliated she would be if she were wrong. Not to mention how bad he might feel if she couldn’t get his name right or know who he was. An invisible wave of tension bled it’s way out of her body and down through her claws in to the earth and she gave herself a small shake to even out her coat a little as her tail swished back and forth without giving much through to it. One might call it a nervous tick but she actually wanted to try to appear as settled as possible if they were to have a conversation of any meaning or length. “Oh indeed I have! When I did come to the Valley it would seem you had already departed, and even then I wanted myself to become acquainted with other pack members who knew the area…But then as I became Reynard’s mate I thought it was even more important that we meet. After all, anyone so important to him, as you and Nocht are, well I just couldn’t help but wanting to meet you. He is a very good judge of character and so I knew you must be special.” She ended her small speech with a smile because she knew it was true, Reynard thought the world of both of Aurora’s pups just like he thought a lot of her new set of daughters. She couldn’t explain it, it was just in his nature to be fatherly.
After a moment of stretching she listened to him and nodded as he told her a few things about his traveling, like the north having more snow, which she figured but she was interested in how he had handled it. After all, lyxxus were not he hardiest of breeds and even she with the ability to fly had avoided the north, the weather, and the cold, it just would not sit well with her. She sat back for a long moment, giving her muscles a good rest as she nodded and smiled. “Yes in the time you’ve been gone I suppose much has happened here, you have more than enough siblings scurrying about, I know Angel has had her hands full with the little ones chasing her about, and Nocht and Moonrose have taken to the pups much better than I had ever thought they would.” She chuckled slightly as her sky blue eyes looked at him, “Of course they haven’t had the chance to bond or pester you, but I am sure they will, give them time..” This was all said in good humor of course, but she also knew her pups, and they tended to attach themselves to anything that would entertain them and she could only imagine how Altan could keep them busy for hours with the tales of his adventures and the places he had seen. Her smile at this point could not have been more bright.
“But I won’t bore you with that, I am much more interested in hearing the details about where you’ve been. Did you run into other packs? The north I know is cold and has more snow than us, so how did you manage? Was it dangerous? What about the south? I personally haven’t seen it but I know there are beaches and probably an ocean and many other things…I would love to hear about things from someone who has had the experiences and having been there…I mean if you feel like telling me..” She knew some wolves who never wanted to talk about themselves or what they did but Satinka did not see Altan as a wolf who had those issues. She also didn’t see anything wrong with admitting that she had not done that much traveling, at least not to the extreme climates in any region. But this was nothing to be ashamed of, no she rather saw it has she had a host of other experiences she could speak of if asked and she had much more fulfillment than most wolves could boast and so with a gentle, interested look and smile she waited to see if Altan would indulge her curiosity. In the same way that Satinka knew very little about Altan, the lyxxus knew nothing about the keiyou, not beyond the simple little facts like she was Reynard's mate and mother to his three pups, their names weren't entirely engraved into his mind, he hadn't paid them nor his sister's much attention at all. Nocht on the other hand certainly had however, though he hadn't even seen too much of his brother again since his return. Possibly due to that better connection he had with the pups and now their mother too. Satinka wasn't his mother though, he had no issues with her and perhaps now was the opportunity he had to try and fix the fact he knew nothing really about her.
The response she gave to his surprise at her wishing to know him was a little over the top in some ways, even Altan could see that not that he really cared. The attention and the flattery was welcoming really, especially considering he hadn't gotten much lately, none really since his return when Nocht and Reynard had been pleased to see him. Things had kind of settled back down again now, though he himself hadn't, he couldn't really with all these changes happening.
From that point however the pups were brought up. First of all how they got along with Angel and Nocht, and then how they hadn't but would probably have the chance to in the future. He couldn't deny it if he wanted to, sooner or later he was going to end up getting stuck with them in some form. Perhaps being bullied into it by either Reynard or Nocht. Satinka seemed to think they'd get along, Altan had his doubts though. Had he been able to read Satinka's mind however and realise the reasoning behind that belief, he may have felt slightly better. Apparently even though she barely knew anything about him she somehow still felt that she liked him. Perhaps it was simply down to Reynard's judgement but that didn't really matter.
Thankfully though they didn't linger too much on the pups, Satinka turned the attention back to him and in all honesty she probably couldn't have chosen a better route to lead the conversation down. He was able to speak with ease again, and a lighter mind. The topic wasn't on those pups that everyone for some reason seemed to love, it was back on him.
"Was really cold. Didn't stay there too long unfortunately. I know someone from the pack there though, the Empire. Didn't get close enough to the pack or him though unfortunately." He mentioned, failing to point out the reasoning was the weather on that lengthy mountain climb. Not knowing the lands and shelter points he'd had to call quits and head back to a place with better weather.
"And the south, I went there. Was really warm in comparison. Didn't go to the jungle though, have you heard of the Hellion Mafia? Well I had and they certainly didn't seem like wolves I wanted to meet. I did see the beach and the ocean though. Don't ever drink from that if you ever go there, it's not like the waters in the river." And here was a chance to show off some knowledge too, normally he only got to speak of his athletic abilities though even that he didn't get to speak of much now.

She had been in the valley for over a year now and that year had brought more than a serious amount of change for her and many others. Heart breaks, heart aches, journeys, and personal growth seemed to be happening for every wolf. Altan had been journeying out on the physical side of things while she watched Nocht, Moonrose and many other wolves in their age range fight their inner battles and journey within themselves constantly…It made her wonder about Altan, did he fight those same battles? Or was he lucky enough that he knew who he was, mostly in and out, and simply craved outside experiences and stimulation? For that had been how Satinka was when she was younger, she was brought up with a very firm sense of self and self knowledge however, her pack did not leave much room for exploration…especially not for females. Her mother of course had known this and had pushed her out of the nest despite how it may have hurt her, of course being gone she didn’t know if her mother pushed her other daughters out of the nest as well..or if she had been the only one.
From everything that Altan told her, he had had relatively good experiences, unlike her. Her experiences of trying to maintain a mate, a pack, and some semblance of a normal life had failed miserably until she had came to Lumera and found Reynard. Then all the pieces had fit, surprisingly enough, which brought her to the thought of wondering if that is how it was for all wolves. When they found the right place did things just “fit” or “click”…and if not is that why so many wolves wandered around for the majority of their life? She knew there were several wolves in many of the territories who did nothing but migrate south for the winter, north for the spring and summer and everywhere in between at different opportunities. In a way she was curious about wolves like that, rogues and loners, but she knew she could never be one. While she had enjoyed traveling and being away from her birth pack she had tried on several accounts to settle down, it had been ingrained within her mind, and so she knew deep down, that having a family was the way she needed to go.
Because he did not have much to say on the topic of pups, she let that topic go, even though she like every other mother, Aurora, Lupa, herself and many others were in love with their own offspring. Every mother thought their pups were the most beautiful or would be the most talented in one way or another and she loved the time she could spend with other mothers, it gave them all time to gush and the pups a chance to torture someone else. However, it was always easier when they were younger, as they got older they gravitated toward their father, or other figures who could teach them things without the embarrassment of their parents lording affection and concern over them. But now the conversation turned back to traveling and Tinka raised her ears attentively, pushing them forward to hear him speak about how cold the north was but that he had known a wolf in one of the northern packs…the Empire did he say? She didn’t know much but she did know that the Empire’s lands were not too far from one of their allies, the Enclave, and although she had not been that north she could only gather that the land and weather up there was treacherous at best.
Her respect for Altan grew as he spoke, not only because he had made the choice to travel but also because he obviously had common sense as well not to push himself beyond his own measures. She had met wolves in her lifetime who had no sense of self preservation to the point of recklessness, and at this point she spoke, “I think it takes a strong willed wolf to know that there is always a point where you have to consider your life over the goal ahead. Sometimes we just can’t all do the things we want to do. If I go flying into a storm, I always have a choice, and landing and waiting it out is preferable to becoming fried by a lightning bolt…” She tried to smile at her own joke for a moment before continuing, “Of course I can’t imagine many wolves being able to live in such a cold climate…just like the desert is so hot..I’m sure there are wolves built for it but it just seems like such a hard…struggling existence..” Perhaps she had been spoiled by being in the valley with just how good things had been but for her either extreme of temperature would only be inhabited by the hardiest of wolves.
When he began speaking of the south she nodded her head, she had indeed heard of the Mafia, and Reynard had the same bad taste in his mouth over those wolves that Altan seemed to have, even Nocht. But the only wolf she had seen from the Mafia was Brightness…and he seemed like a rather harmless wolf. He was even cute if the little brute was rather quite large for his age. He just reminded her of a big puppy who didn’t mean to hurt anyone…and here he was a prisoner of their pack…in case Altan didn’t know she decided to remain quiet about it after all, the golden hybrid had not been seen for several weeks, even months now maybe he had run away…She nodded carefully when he told her the ocean was not like river water and to not drink from it, but she tilted her head..”Is it dangerous? Poison the ocean?” She was curious because eventually she had hoped to go there and she would have liked nothing more than to have the benefit of his knowledge for her own trip, “I mean..there is water somewhat near the ocean that is safe….isn’t there?” Her wings were folded in tightly, almost in anticipation as she wanted to ask him more questions, “Did you see any unusual wolves? You know…I hope to travel too…I would love to see the different healing plants around the different climates…I suppose I envy you, having already done this traveling and here you are younger than I…But…I mean if you want to know anything about me..feel free to ask I feel as though I am interrogating you…” A small smile appeared as she looked at him, genuinely liking him and their conversation. Your eyes As we said our goodbyes Can't get them out of my mind And I find I can't hide From your eyes The ones that took me by surprise The night you came into my life Where there's moonlight I see your eyes
