[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,502,true] | [atrb=background,http://i1090.photobucket.com/albums/i369/mo_avalon/WonderWhy/kalybg.png]The little spitfire sunbeam was prowling through the plains, as she made her way through the land around her, the grasses brushing against her pelt in their soft dry caresses. Although this time of year there were even flowers around her and while the two year could give a damn about the beauty it brought to the land she had to admit it looked like a nice place to live. Especially opposed to the last time she was here and that other idiot wolf persisted in arguing with her even as she tried to help her..”Moron..” However, the pretty flowers and tall grasses was not the reasons he was here. There were several actually, and her shoulders bunched up just thinking about them as she made her way away from the river bank where she had washed herself up from traveling. She hated the water so very much, but she just couldn’t stand to be grimy and dirty either. It would have been a comical scene watching her dip on paw in after another with a large grimace of pain on her face, but for anyone watching she made sure her look of hatred would keep even the birds quiet.
Now she was semi dry, having found a nice light stone to nap on as she puffed out in all the colors of the morning sun. One of the reasons she had left the Valley, at least for now was because she couldn’t stand the idea that she might run into Brightness. She had decided if he was going to avoid her like the plague, she was going to avoid him, no one ever had to know she crawled into her den at night and was lulled to sleep by the old and dulling scent of the wolf whom she had fallen for. A prisoner no less, and a brute, as she thought about him her two tails lashed independently of each other as she wrinkled up her nose and made a sound that was very close to the sound of an angry hiss. Her shoulders dropped down as she began to nearly lay down in the grasses around her. The secondly reason was far more selfish, it was the annual migration of flying fish!
The lightly colored lyxxus could not help herself but to travel easterly and try to be the first one who would catch the fat, delicious flying fish. She was too impatient to wait for when they arrived at the valley and so here she was crouching down and waiting for a low flying fish to grace her with it’s presence. Sure enough her midnight blue, almost black eyes finally caught sight of one coming closer, swimming through the air with a fluid grace, she tensed her legs and soon spring shot herself in the air to try to wrap her claws around it…”BONSAI!” Her war cry rattled through the air as she sprung up and tried to grab the fish, the clever fish however had outwit several predators before, and quickly dodged, throwing it’s weight right into her face. Having been smacked by the fish she flipped her body with a yowl, clawing at air as she twisted and head back for the earth at high speed. “Nooooo!!! DAMN IT!” With a thud she landed back on the ground, and hardly on all fours.
It was with a heavy groan that she opened her eyes, her vision blurry…”Stupid….stupid fish…who gave fish wings anyway!” Speaking of wings, as her vision began to blur, she looked up at the sky and seemingly saw the clouds above her, and they were put together in a rather odd shape. It was a white keiyou…with wings! She shook her head trying to remove the image from her head as she thought about exactly what it would mean, would Bri be out here too…would he find her?! Her heart surged with hope as she looked up at the supposed sign, the image being interrupted by several fish, only raising her hackles more. It looked like the keiyou with was diving to the ground, so she had to assume that soon she would come into contact. She hated this power, this…craziness that sometimes allowed her to see things that were coming, and she had only told a few other wolves, but she supposed it came in handle…thirty percent of the time.
Refusing to give up she walked a few more feet and found a new patch of grass to hide in, she was extremely determined to find her way to a flying fish and eat them! They tasted just right, like a faraway land, salty, and slightly oily, just the thing she needed to keep herself looking and feeling fit. Too much fatty deer meet, and not enough stringy rabbit meat, and she would look like something you could scrape off the meeting rocks in the valley. She would not have to wait long though, another fish was swimming rather low, looked to be female, and quite large, this time instead of trying to grab it Kaly decided to try something different. She lunged, slamming her whole body into the fish, knocking it to the side and down to the ground. When she noticed the fish hadn’t hit the ground she jumped on top of it, and slammed her claws into it’s eyes and raked them down the fished back quickly killing it. “See if you elude me again you stupid fish!” Growling with a victorious sound she quickly bit into the juicy underbelly and began to feed, using her claws to dissect the tastiest bits…all the while looking for the keiyou that was “supposedly” going to show up.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,450,true] | [atrb=background,http://i1110.photobucket.com/albums/h448/soarly/Wonderwhy/Tables/Draugtableback.png] The wind had been particularly helpful today; it had lifted the small keiyou into air easily and carried him all the way from the plains. It was really fortunate for him that the wind had decided to prevail until he reached his destination. Now that the wind had fallen considerably, Draugur had to begin beating his wings every few seconds to stay high up, in the midst of the clouds. He could not see anything below with a thick fog-like substance blocking his view. Clouds. Snorting, he tilted his wings downwards slightly to start his slow descend to ground. Or at least a few metres away from the ground; he just wanted to have a better view of the prairie. Despite his youthful appearance, Draugur was quite old in heart and soon he suddenly found himself yearning for a walk through a nice landscape now... No! He twitched his ears self-consciously and swore to himself that he would never admit that ever again, not even to himself. There were several years ahead of him and there was no need for him to soften now.
Once the albino keiyou thought he was low enough, he stopped his descent, and flew straight with his tail raised upwards, skimming the cloudy substances above him. How he had missed flying casually. Not flying to reach places, just... flying. Now that he thought about it, he never had many chances to just fly in his life. Either he had been busy with his pack, busy with coming up plans to break Reynard, or busy chatting up the females. He shook his head lightly, they were just pitiful excuses. This sensation, the sensation of soaring in the skies, was exhilarating and it gave him a great sense of freedom. For a long moments, he allowed himself to be wrapped up with this freedom his wings gave him.
Until he heard a shout below. Irritated, Draugur looked down, searching for the screamer. He couldn't see anything for many minutes, except for several colourful bunches of flowers. Perhaps he couldn't see the wolf because it blended well with the flowers... No, wait. He squinted his eyes, and saw a moving ginger figure. And it was tiny, perhaps that was why he didn't see her earlier. He lowered slightly to get a better look, but high enough for him to escape her notice. Draugur couldn't hear her mutterings, but he could clearly see that the tiny wolf was triumphant. She must have gotten something. A fish perhaps, since she was close to the river. Draugur lowered his body again until he was gliding only a metre or so above the grass tips.
That was when a sickly familiar scent hit him. Draugur wondered why he had run into many Children wolves recently. Lupa, Nagami, and now this lyxxus. It was as if someone up there wanted to torture him by showing how much his pack had grown in his absence. Finally his paws hit the ground and grass immediately tickled his lower flanks. He was in a clear view of the female and soon he found her movements quite intriguing. It was quick and sharp, not entirely unlike to an elusive wild cat. Of course she was a lyxxus, but somehow, she appeared much more in tune with the refined side of her species than most lyxxi.
"Nice fish?"

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,502,true] | [atrb=background,http://i1090.photobucket.com/albums/i369/mo_avalon/WonderWhy/kalybg.png] Kaly had been enjoying her fish intensely, the oils in the fish's skin would make her pelt shiny, and the though a piece of two eluded her grasp she finally slipped her claw around all edges to finally get all the meat she could out of the fish. Her triumphant hum of delight came from deep within her chest,or o almost a near purring sound as she sat back and then lay near her kill, a few bites left as she lay on her side, enjoying the moment of sheer laziness. In the valley she could indulge in this past time all she wanted, and though she had taken up throwing a rabbit or two into the prey cache she liked the idea of being away from the pack and lazing off. Here no one would find her and tell her to get back to feeding the pack, or doing what was best for the pack and not for herself. She doubted Reynard even knew she was still around or what she was capable of, from everything she heard he was so entangled in his own personal family drama he had not given out new ranks or even called a meeting to let everyone see or show off their skills and why they thought they should have a higher rank. She snorted slightly, her eyes wide open as she thought, rolling onto her back and watching the clouds.
Perhaps she was not meant to be a pack wolf, especially not a pack like the Children who focused on family ties and all that mushy junk. Being two now she could choose a mate if she wanted to, but she didn't want to...”Well thats a lie...” her mind began to huff, 'It is not!' She spoke aloud to herself fulfilling her own prophecy that she was crazy, “You'd mate with Bri in a second..” 'Yes but he thinks he is better than me, or he is afraid of me..or he just plain hates me.' “It doesn't matter anyway who wants pups and all that nonsense. Stupid to be tied down by mewling, loud, milk suckers...” She snorted and brought her two tails up in a wave like motion and then dropped them. She must have looked ridiculous, laying there on her back seemingly wafting air with her two tails, a large sunbeam colored fluff ball. Surprisingly no flying predator decided to make her a snack, however she would have been prepared, her larger ears would have alerted her, and then her claws would have protected her, although she had not had any dealings with a dragon or enemy there was no way to escape of fight off.
It was then, as quick as lightning that a winged wolf descended and she shot straight up into the air, landing on all four feet, a rather heinous look on her face as she stared at him. He was no Bri, that was for sure, the hybrid who had won her heart would have outweighed him by a substantial amount, and Bri looked far more dangerous physically. But in Bri's eyes there was never any evil intention or cruelty, and in his keiyou's eyes there shone a...devious nature of sorts, not to mention his eyes were not a natural color...but red....Kaly's hackles raised up and she backed up a few steps. She had seen him in the clouds but she was not sure what that had meant other than his arrival, and that obviously he could fly within those clouds, especially since he was white, almost...eerily so. 'Wait a moment...' Her mind flashed back to the first pack meeting she had gone to, the one where Reynard had taken a Queen...and this wolf was there....in fact every wolf nearly hated him...well those that knew him and those that didn't had heard enough that they were willing to fight this white keiyou..but why? He didn't seem so dangerous...
Kaly eyed him suspiciously..maybe he had a power that scared the other wolves..but she didn't care. She was not afraid but cautious as she was with anyone she didn't know. When he commented on her fish..her ears swivveled with her own devious look, filling those midnight eyes, her slitted pupils almost barely visible making her look nearly blind. “Yeah...want some?!” With that she slapped the fish, or remains of the fish with her claws, winging it in his general direction so that the slimy thing was shot practically into his face. Smirking slightly she stood to the side, her tails lashing back and forth as she sized him up, “Do you make it a habit of interrupting people's meals...their...meetings...?” Her eyes were not entirely friendly but her voice was not at screeching level which meant she didn't feel threatened or on edge. This wolf was someone..perhaps not a good someone, but Kaly's interest was peaked as it often was with things she should never be interested in, Bri being the perfect example...
“Why is everyone afraid of you? You're white...like a fluffy cloud, and you have pink eyes...” With that comment she strode up to him, circle about, stepping underneath his wings here and there, even poking around between his legs, fully inspecting him while trying to stay away from legs and claws lest he become a little temperamental about her poking around. To Kaly, it was unheard of for a wolf to be mentally frightening, to be around someone who could twist your mind and emotions to the point where you feard them intensely, no her own powers had done that, so she was more afraid of herself than a wolf who out sized her or could crush her physically. Satisfied with her inspection she sat back in front of him and said in a slighter higher pitched voice, “Why aren't you skulking around the Valley Draugur, or did Reynard permanently run you off the last time you ran into him? I mean I know he's lanky...but you're not a beacon of muscles either...” The look on her face was happy, Kaly loved to bait other wolves and make their life...difficult. One day it would get her in trouble but so far her powers hadn't shown fit to show her when..

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,450,true] | [atrb=background,http://i1110.photobucket.com/albums/h448/soarly/Wonderwhy/Tables/Draugtableback.png]Draugur's muzzle wrinkled at the smell of the oily flying fish at the lyxxus's paws. Fish had never been his favourite prey; they tasted odd compared to the familiar wild meat of rabbits and deer. Besides Draugur did not have a right body or weapons to grasp a slippery fish and pull it out of the water without it slipping away. His eyes moved from the ripped fish to the surprised lyxxus who was in midair at the sight of him. He could not keep his face straight when he saw her face; soon laughter, which was bubbling in his throat, burst out of his muzzle, stretching his pale lips into a huge satisfactory grin. It must be the angriest face he had ever seen, even though her face alone was striking enough. Her deep blue eyes contrasted richly with her shocking amber fur. Once she seemed to regain her composure, he noticed the familiar traces of suspicion crossed her face.
The look of suspicion was one of the most common face expressions he saw on the Children wolves's faces, who had heard about him, whenever he ran into them. Obviously this lyxxus had heard about him. A small satisfied grunt escaped his mouth, so his name still lingered in the Children. He did not care if it was tainted. Actually it did not matter to him whether his name was tainted or not, he just wanted to be known, not forgotten. Oh really, it would be tricky for Reynard to forget him with all of the old members still around. Oh, and Skyler. Especially Skyler. A smirk appeared on his muzzle, Reynard must have a tough time seeing Skyler without thinking about Draugur.
Draugur's dark amusement disappeared quickly when the lyxxus's fish hit him squarely in the face and flopped down at his paws. Spitting at the fish, Draugur glared up at the tiny orange wolf, "I asked you if it was nice, not to throw it at my face." His paw raised to his face to wipe off any splatter of the fish and his tongue swept his lips. "Yeah, not nice. I can see why you tossed it away." Into my face. Looking down at the fish, the keiyou tried to grasp it with his claw, but unfortunately they were too blunt to grip the slippery flesh. He was going to slap this female in the face with this fish, but only if his paw would pick up the fish. The lyxxus's next question distracted him from his concentration. Draugur's head snapped up to look at her directly. She knew. She was at the meeting. Narrowing his eyes, he searched his memory for her. The only lyxxus that came up was the scarred one who had threatened to flip him. After a brief moment of searching for the scar, Draugur finally concluded that she wasn't the same lyxxus.
Twitching his ears, Draugur smiled at her with a hint of mock sympathy, "Unfortunately, yes. How else can I talk to you wolves?" By 'you', he meant the Children members, but he didn't know if this lyxxus would pick it up. This actually interested him; the meeting had been a year ago, if not more, yet there were wolves who remembered him. Perhaps he should make his visits more frequent, just to refresh the Children's memories. It was shame that they decided to behave quite hostilely towards him or else he would visit once, or perhaps twice, a week. No, in all seriousness, it was actually silly that the wolves had decided to be all pissed at him without knowing anything about him. They were following Reynard blindly. That type of loyalty was incredibly admirable, yet foolish. Extremely foolish.
Another amused smile tugged a corner of his lips as this lyxxus started to compare him to a cloud. How old was this female, really? She looked young, but she behaved really young too. Perhaps she would be a lot more fun than he expected. "Fluffy clou--? How very observant of you." He allowed this female to prod at him, except for a few moments of him attempting to shove this female away. "You're very precise, aren't you? I'm a wolf, not some kind of an odd eel." Once the female had finished prodding at his body, he sat back. She must be curious why everyone was so jumpy around him, especially at that pack meeting. At least someone was interested to know more than to spit threats at him.
His first reply to this lyxxus's next question was a giant snort. This girl was really inquisitive, wasn't she? "How do you know I haven't been skulking around the valley recently?" He allowed his tail to sway behind him, slowly flattening the grass behind him. "Don't tell anyone this, but your scouts really suck." He smirked before he suddenly realised that her question was supposed to be an insult. Fine. He would insult her back. Okay, perhaps not her personally, but her pack. "Didn't you know that I have been seeing someone from your pack quite frequently. And I still am." His brows raised and his smile wider. All he said was true and he wondered if this lyxxus knew this. Even though Angel wasn't very involved in the Children, she was still a well-known member and he wondered if she had let something slip. "Aaaand, that someone had been feeding me pack secrets. Like... hm..." He broke off slowly with a mock thoughtful look on his face, "Ah yes, Rey being attacked by a calagris. That was a shame." Draugur's face wrinkled in a mock pity, while his smile was still as broad as ever, giving an odd contrast to his face. His common sense had tried to tell him to stop several times during his taunts, but his sense of arrogance had prompted him to continue. Even though it was very risky for Angel, it was lovely to poke fun at this lyxxus's knowledge. Or rather lack thereof.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,502,true] | [atrb=background,http://i1090.photobucket.com/albums/i369/mo_avalon/WonderWhy/kalybg.png] It was obvious the male in front of her didn't care for fish from the smell to his later reactions, which just made Kaly entirely too happy. She filed it away for future use, as she did with anything that other wolves gave her a reaction. It was the reaction she loved, and so using things other wolves didn't want anyone to know, like how they felt about other wolves or what they were afraid of was always a high point for Kaly. It was one reason she loved torturing Nocht, although he was creepy looking and never smiling, she could sure get a rise out of him like nobody's business, and it was rather fun, the entire process, even out-running him. She saw that he was laughing at her, and if she could have turned a deeper shade of red or warmer colors she would have by temper alone. Having someone laugh at her was a for sure fire way to get her blood going a little higher, although she did not entirely know his reason for laughing, usually it was her size or the way she did things others found funny. To her though it was an automatic insult, and had he been someone she knew better she would have raked her claws down his sides in retribution.
To be fair, she had no reason to be truly suspicious of the wolf in front of her, she didn't know anything about him other than the fact that he had tackled her alpha during their meeting. But she did not know any history and she seriously doubted many of the other wolves did either. Truth be told, Kaly had stepped back and watched the whole scene go down with a rather large amount of delight, she had been in the territory very little time before a meeting with a bunch of nobody's and then a fight, for the battle hungry lyxxus youth it was a good day. But then now that she was two, as evidenced by the two tails which twitched and swayed independently of one another she was still hungry and ambitious, but now she was just not so sure of what and where to place her ambitions. Pack life was turning out to have few benefits, where once she would have put Bri in the benefits column now he was more of a reason to avoid the Valley, the only thing tying her there was her ties to Coneiron...and really beyond that there was nothing. This little epiphany pulled her ears back against her skull and a small frown appear on her muzzle.
“I figured you might as well taste for yourself, why take my word for it, I could be a pathological liar..” She snickered slightly, pushing her more depressing thoughts into the back of her mind. “It was a perfectly fine fish! You just have bad taste.” She snorted slightly and brought her claws up to her face where she licked at them, still tasting the fish against them and her paws where the oils and fats had clung to. She never understood why most wolves didn't eat fish, especially the keiyou after all, they could fly and it would make catching the stupid flying fish that much easier. Her eyes squinted slightly as she watched him struggle with the fish, were all wolves that weren't lyxxi so inept? “Try talking to someone when they don't have a mouthful of food, trying to catch their food, or conduct business that has nothing to do with you.” Not that she was defending the pack or anything, more her own hunt and meal that he had interrupted. She was still trying to find out why he was here right now, and why they were talking, what purpose would it serve?
She ignored his comment about being observant, it was interrupting her observations and she deftly weaved in and out between his legs when he tried to shove her away. Oh she would not be dissuaded so easily, she was extremely persistent and pig-headed when she so chose to be. “You are weirdly colored, your eyes are strange and you have no color in your pelt, of course I have to be precise, I've never seen anything like you up close and personal so for all intensive purposes you might as well be an eel, slippery and slimy enough that is for sure.” She answered with a smug, and insulting grin, showing off her sharp, but smaller teeth as though she could do anything more than shred the skin around his legs and stomach. “Well now, I suppose I don't, but I spend a lot of time walking around, supposedly hunting for the pack, more or less looking for more interesting things, so if you are skulking around, it is within the skies or the trees, because your paw prints and scent aren't nearly as prominent as you are making them seem.”
At the comment about scouts she shrugged slightly, “Who cares? Maybe they do, maybe they don't but I don't see exactly why they would be in a tizzy if you were around any way.” When he spoke of seeing someone within the pack she smiled slightly, she would let him run his mouth to see exactly what he was saying and if it was worth anything to her. She had wanted to be a Guardian but, she wasn't exactly sure what she wanted now, to stay in the Children and try to claw her way up past Reynard's own family, or if she should just move on and try somewhere else. Instead she simply shook her head still smiling, “Really? Well if you are, you are meeting with them under the radar, perhaps someone you have a tie to...family perhaps..?” Her eyes were seemingly black even in the light as she stared at the white male before her. As he spouted off about Reynard's attack she snickered slightly, “Whomever is feeding you information is feeding you nonsense. Everyone in the pack knows about it, hell the Children's allies know about it, a random wolf could have said it, or any wolf in the Children, they all have the biggest mouths anyone has ever known. You must know something better than that if you have a spy, Fluffy...”

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,450,true] | [atrb=background,http://i1110.photobucket.com/albums/h448/soarly/Wonderwhy/Tables/Draugtableback.png] Almost every lyxxus Draugur had met was rather stingy and feisty, especially females, and this one was no exception. Even though he appeared so prideful and careless, there was a part of his mind which was wary of the quickness of this lyxxus. He tried to keep his eye on the lyxxus's sharp claws and teeth discreetly as he didn't know where she wanted them to go any time soon. Basically he did not trust her, much more than he would normally distrust anyone. Despite this, Draugur still found her amusing and, well, his possible plaything. Steadily he kept his albino gaze on her, wondering how much did she know about him. It was rather unfair that she knew him and he did not know her but, hey, he wasn't complaining. To be recognised by a stranger was a wondrous thing.
"Perfectly fine fish! You just have bad taste!" Draugur mocked her, trying to imitate her quick, sharp voice, but sadly failing. Quickly he spoke in his own voice to cover up his blunder, "No. They're too... oily." He flicked his tail disinterestedly, "Good for you perhaps if you like your fur greasy." He had heard some rumours about fish keeping a wolf's fur sleek and healthy. Of course, he brushed it off, claiming it preposterous and saying the effects of eating fish was no different to eating land animals. As far as he knew, his fur was healthy despite not eating fish, and that was enough for him to disprove the theory. "Besides, it seems that I have to repeat myself," Heaving a great sigh, Draugur spoke to the lyxxus in the same way a teacher would speak to a pup, "I did not say I want to try it myself. Savvy?" Once he had finished his previous smirk returned to his muzzle. It was in his nature to belittle others, especially females. This explained the damage of Skyler's confidence and Siren's naïvety.
He twitched his small ears at the female's next remark about interrupting meals, but did not make any comment. He did not come here to hear various socially acceptable ways to incite conversation. He did things the way he wanted to do them. However, Draugur liked her quick and sarcastic wit. It was refreshing to hear others saying what they were thinking without any sly twists or hidden meanings. Of course, Draugur was a crafty wolf yet he liked to say whatever he was thinking very often. It cleared any possible tensions and secrets between him and another wolf in some way. Also there was a fact that he did not like being lied to or made a fool of.
The albino keiyou frowned at the ginger lyxxus as she left him, "Yes, I am weirdly coloured and I do have strange eyes and colourless fur... But so does your Chief." Was this lyxxus so ignorant that she forgot about that white Chief? A memory of the great white hybrid (he shuddered at this point) with couple of great wings and sightless eyes standing in front of Reynard came to him. He snorted. Reynard was ruling a pack away from its original belief. At the beginning Draugur had decreed that no females and no hybrids may have an expectationally high rank (except for a Queen, the only female rank which was responsible of giving her leader new heirs). It disgusted him to know how much his pack had deviated from its original intentions. Now it was a... family pack. Really, what was that? He knew that by now everyone was related to each other in some way. So was the pack starting to be incestuous? The thought of his pack like that sickened him. That was why he should bring that orange keiyou down. Before he did any more damage to Draugur's pack.
Draugur glared at the lyxxus after she made a comment about him not having a 'prominent' scent, but chose to say nothing. However her next statement made him grin, "Why would they be in tizzy? Oh, I don't know. Ask Reynard, he'll be able to explain it to you better." He chuckled, " And I have a reason to believe that he had ordered you, his wolves, to keep an eye out for me." He shook his head, shrugging, "If I was nothing, he wouldn't do that." It was funny to see the lyxxus denying Draugur's importance when there were several obvious evidences that indicated otherwise. Pitiful but funny.
The albino male snickered at the lyxxus's suspicions. It was interesting to know how her mind worked. Her mouth seemed to think aloud without even pausing to think privately for a moment. "I only have Siren, my mate, and Skyler, my daughter. Siren, um, well she's not too smart, and Skyler... You've seen her." He scratched his ears thoughtfully, "Not very brave, that Skyler." Draugur bristled slightly once he had finished the sentence. That was a lie, unfortunately, as he remembered her shouting at him and left him behind in the canyon not so long time ago. But she would always be a coward, no, a hybrid coward in his mind.
"Oh no, no, no, I think that was a good titbit of information, actually." Draugur wriggled slightly to get into a more comfortable position, "Imagine what would happen if a rival pack gets that kinda information. That the Children's leader is severely weakened and is unable to fight for himself, and therefore unable to fight for his pack." He was quiet for a moment to allow this thought to fester in the air and hopefully in this lyxxus's mind. Then almost dismissively, he continued, "If I was the rival leader I would finish him off as quickly as possible... Oh, that's just me." He shrugged at the last part. This lyxxus's mind was really sharp and it pleased him. If only she was more... flexible, then perhaps he would find her an incredibly good ally. "And perhaps the reason I haven't heard anything else is because there's nothing else happening." After a slight pause, he narrowed his eyes, "You know me, but I don't know you. That is hardly fair so may I have your name?"

She would rather constantly be doing something than sitting around doing exactly what she was doing now, talking. It never really led to anything good as far as she was concerned. Most others used it as a way of complimenting each other, which was one reason why she couldn't stay in the valley too long. Someone was always on top of or in someone's business. 'Oh you caught a rabbit you're so fast', 'Oh you're having another litter? Great job getting pregnant..' Like having puppies was such a big freaking deal, her fur began to stand on edge as she thought about the wolves that made up the pack she had joined, and more and more she felt like it was a mistake. Just being two she didn't quite think like an adult but she was getting there, and the closer to that thinking she got the worse she felt about her decisions and where she should be. It was an entirely irritating process for the lyxxus who made a habit out of being right in many occasions.
She watched as he tried to mock and mimic her and for once instead of exploding she tilted her head and watched him. Why would a grown wolf step down to condescend down to her? Let alone attempt to mimic a voice he could not possibly reach? “I doubt no matter how much you practice, you'll ever reach the tone and pitch you are looking for.” She sat back on her haunches and looked at him, she was truly trying to analyze why he was tolerating her instead of flying off somewhere, unless he thought she could be useful to him in some capacity. If that was the case she thought with a small, mischievous smile, she could find uses for him as well, she had always wanted to try flying...'Too oily' She could not see the oil as being a problem, if anything it helped the fish go down easier and faster so you could catch the next one, and it didn't weigh you down nearly as much as other heavier meat, which not only did not contribute as much, it made you fat! “Grease has nothing to do with it, plenty of wolves eat fish and they don't look greasy the only ones who do are those weird plant...thing...wolves...” She had never actually seen a Kukkien but she thought they were weird from the sound of them, so they worked as an example.
“And I did not say you said you wanted to try it, I was rather being a complete bitch if you want to get absolutely technical.” She fluffed a bit of fur on her leg in front of him, shrugging off his talking down to her. Normally it would have gotten her screeching at him but at this time she just couldn't have cared, for some reason his very presence was making her think more about herself and everyone around her, and it was taking the edge off her attitude. Somewhere, deep inside she just did not want to give him a reaction, where with Bri and Coneiron it might have been amusing, with him she thought somewhere deep inside he was just as into convincing a reaction out of her as she was to him, which was amusing but also gave her pause before she decided to push anything to the limits. At the mention of the Chief of the pack she just shrugged. “I could care less. I just said you looked weird, not unique.” Oh yes she was just being a full on bitch at this point but she really didn't care about the Chief, was he here now? No the giant hybrid of some sort wasn't, and she hadn't seen much hide nor hair of him around the packlands either.
“You know you keep telling me to talk to this person, or that person, or remember this or that. The truth is, I think you are very content knowing that I am talking, and thinking about you. You want attention, you are like a pup who runs around doing stupid things for attention, like the Queen's first litter, all begging for the attention of anyone who would look at them..” She snorted slightly in distaste, she had no desire to birth any pups or have to pay attention to them in any capacity. “He may have said to keep an eye out for you but that could possibly be because you entered his territory un-invited, and attacked him. That is why he said to keep an eye out, not because I believe you to be the high threat you see yourself as. But I am not Reynard, I can't say what he thinks, just what I think when I look at you.” Shrugging slightly she dipped her front end down and stretched out her back, her claws coming into complete view for him to see. At the mention of him having a daughter and a mate she shrugged slightly, how any female could tolerate him long term was unbelievable...”I wouldn't know who your daughter is, or whether she is brave or stupid or any other number of personality flaws..”
When he spoke about how good the piece of information was she didn't move, it might be true, he could give it to a rival pack, but then what? She decided to voice that opinion, rather question, “Even if you gave it to a rival pack and they took him out. What do you have to offer them? If they fight for the takeover of the pack or even the valley that still only gives you one minor victory, and that only gives you a minor victory over Reynard.” Thinking on it, and what she knew of the nearby packs she spoke once more, “Even if you did manage to convince someone the Mafia is the only place you could turn to, and you would have to have a large bargaining chip to make it so they wouldn't eat you alive.” Yawning slightly she looked at him, “Plus you've seen the kind of idiots that follow him, you'd have to have enough wolves to kill them before you could get to him, and they have nearly doubled their numbers since they have female guardians.” She smirked slightly, knowing that would stick in his craw if nothing else. “My name is Kalylia.” She was not ashamed of her name, nor afraid of him enough to hide, but she did pad right up to his side and inspect his wings...”So you fly all around hmm? Flying might be fun...” Idly she stretched up on her back legs as she looked enticingly at the space in between his wings, looked like a perfect seat to her, as she looked at him with devious intentions.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,450,true] | [atrb=background,http://i1110.photobucket.com/albums/h448/soarly/Wonderwhy/Tables/Draugtableback.png]As the lyxxus pointed out Draugur's mistake of attempting to mimic her words, he scowled at her slightly. She was really a smart-ass, wasn't she? He should know because he was one himself. He was rather sassy and so was she. So in a way she was both irritating and impressing him. In an annoying way. Draugur could not see why she was a Children wolf; the lyxxus did not possess the typical gentleness and a big heart that most of the Children members had. Actually now that he came to think of it, why did she join that pack? No, this was not jealousy speaking. If she was as quick-witted as him, then why would she join a pack that was all about family and kindness. Like a... Like a great big family where you had to be nice to each other, including your in-laws. In what world did that exist, really?!
And now she was talking about the oily fish and the benefits of eating them. It was getting boring talking about this fishy topic, so Draugur just watched her under his half-closed eyelids patiently, as if he was listening to an eager pup who thought he had an awesome story to tell. "Kukkien." He blurted out. "The 'weird plant... thing... wolves' are called the kukkiens." He snickered and shrugged, "You've got so many things to learn about, kiddo." Draugur was leaning towards her when he said this, so once he had finished the sentence, he retreated and concentrated on his tail, which was brushing along the grass idly. "Thank you for clearing that up for me." He gave her a scornful look, which promptly turned into a smile. It was somehow satisfying to hear a female calling herself a bitch. Especially this one, because she was indeed a bitch. And this didn't mean he didn't like her. On the contrary he found himself liking her blunt words and careless attitude.
"Then don't be so surprised if you've seen a wolf like me before, then." He swayed slightly with his shoulders rising and falling a little, looking down at this female with dislike. Draugur wasn't weird. Sure, he was a tad uncommon but he wasn't weird. These plant wolves were weird. The fish at his paws was weird. She was weird. But not him. He was too interesting and... unique, no matter what she said, to be weird. "Just because something is uncommon, it doesn't mean it's weird." Draugur gave a tiny shrug and there was a slightly offended look on his white face. Her remark brought Draugur's memory of being constantly rejected by packs forth in his mind. It was an unpleasant experience, and believe it or not, it had knocked some confidence out of him. Of course, this all happened before the Children was formed. Apparently the alphas were worried of his recessive genes being passed on or something. Their worries proved unfounded though, because he had several children (not as many as Reynard though) and no one of them had his albinism. He thought it was rather unfortunate as he found this mutation pretty. As Siren once said, he looked like a fallen angel.
The lyxxus's speech about him being a huge attention seeker caused Draugur to frown. Not in anger or annoyance, but in curiosity. Was he like that? So... unplanned and... well, like a headless chicken running around. That wasn't very... intriguing, was it? However all this was what this female thought about him, and it didn't mean it was true though. Despite looking like a headless chicken, Draugur did have some plans up in his sleeve, so to speak. Angel was one of them. But what made him really pleased was to hear that the attention was indeed on him. That was his first step in most of his plans. "Thanks for letting me know that whatever I'm doing, I'm doing it right." He smiled another grin with an obvious arrogance. Draugur briefly flicked his eyes around him while the lyxxus continued to speak. It was something about her not being Reynard. But really it was silly to criticise an alpha who knew the albino keiyou so well. To this lyxxus he was just another stranger (but with a certain obsession with her pack), and Reynard, however, who knew him for so long, therefore he knew what Draugur was capable of and was right to be wary of him. "Wait, wait, wait. You can't be telling me that the Children has no trespassers. Or else Reynard would tell his pack to keep an eye out for several wolves." He paused. "Uh, yes there's a thing about me attacking him..."
He shook his head to dismiss what he had just said, and cleared it up with another defence, "Do you really know me?" He snorted with laughter, "No, of course you don't. But Reynard does." This was enough reminder for her not to criticise anyone just because they think differently. It was rather hypocritical of him, but it was true nevertheless. As he finished his last sentence, the lyxxus stretched before him, and he found his eyes were being drawn to her pearly sharp claws jutting out of her paws. He could easily imagine how much of bloody damage she could do to him with these claws. Fortunately for him, she distracted him by mentioning Skyler, surprising him by saying that she didn't know her. Draugur stared at here for a while, as if he was thinking of something to say. Then he made a non-committal grunt instead. Skyler wasn't worth talking about, especially with this female who didn't seem to know anything about her, which was odd because she stuck out like a sore thumb.
He nodded at the lyxxus's words with his pale lips forming a pleased smile. She did have a point, but ruling a pack wasn't what he wanted anymore, but it would be nice if it happened to him anyway. What he really wanted was to have his revenge on the orange bastard. "Good girl. You're not as stupid as you look, are you?" He chuckled, "But unfortunately you got me all wrong." He flicked his tail at her, amusement obvious in his eyes, "I'm sure you know by now that I'm not a ruling material. Hell, I ditched the pack twice or perhaps more, I don't remember." Looking down at this lyxxus with a laughter bubbling on his lips, Draugur shook his head, "No, I want nothing. I only want Reynard to learn. No one double-crosses me and dances away unscathed." At this point, his pink eyes glittered with a cold, burning desire for a revenge, which quickly disappeared as soon as he said, "And I can promise them a valley. Who would turn away a large beautiful valley with plentiful prey." He raised his brows and inclined his head slightly, "Not me, that's for sure!"
Draugur nodded to acknowledge her name, Kalylia. "Kalylia, I'm pleased to make your acquaintance" His habit of being polite to strangers was tricky to break. He noticed, when he met her dark blue eyes, that Kalylia was eyeing at him in a peculiar way before walking up his side and stared at his large wings. "No, I walk around, showing these wings off." His wings flapped once before settled back to their original position, at his sides. Kalylia was now on her hind legs, staring at Draugur back. It took a moment for him to realise her devious plot and jumped back, flinging his wings open upwards in alarm. "NO! I'm not a ride for you to use!"
