Alari was practicing some twists and turns over a dark forest. She flew down for a dive and landed in a tree, luckily on a thick branch that could hold her. For a few seconds, that is. It snapped out of nowhere, and Alari fell down to the moist floor with a thud. It was dark, quiet, and eerie. There was no wind. It was night, and the only sounds Alari could hear were cherps from grasshoppers. She looked up in the sky, and squinted to try to spot the moon. Okay, okay, so, the moon isn't out, no big deal... Just, where am I? Alari stood up from her uncomfortable fall position and started to walk around, with all of her senses on 'look out mode.' Her ears were moving around, and her nose was twitching to trying to find where she was, and what was there. Alari quickly stopped in her tracks and looked back to only see her pawprints in the mud. It rained recently, and her scent and mud tracks was everywhere. Alari panicked and finally realized where she was. She was in the Accord. The Centena Accord. Alari jumped up in the air and started to fly, but she felt a sharp pain in her wing. There was something in it, she knew. I am so lucky it didn't get bent! Then again, I didn't fall from a high branch. Alari landed on the ground again, and decided it was better to be seen than to be heard, chased, and probably killed because of her wing. She sat down and spread it out to the side to look at what was there in her wing. A splinter maybe?
Alari rolled her eyes and then got up, and continued to walk. She was quite hungry, and was hoping there was some food around. Alari walked slowly, quietly, and cautiously through the gloomy forest. With her dark colors, the only part of her that might be seen might be seen from afar might be her eyes or ears. Her pink eyes seemed to glow, and her light brown ears seemed to stand out for some odd reason. Alari's tail dragged in the mud as she moved slowly. She yawned and thought to herself, Great, I'm tired, hungry, and in a territory! How could it get any worse? She started to look around for any birds, and no luck. It was too dark to see if they were even sleeping in their nests. Alari saw a a little area that was like a hole where she could fit in. It had branches and leaves for the roof, and fallen, old leaves for the soft ground below it. The hole was right between two trees, and looked like an animal had been living there recently. Who knows what kid of animal? Alari didn't even care, though. The hole or some sort went 6 feet high, and 4 feet wide. At the end, you couldn't see the other side, so I guess it wouldn't be considered as a hole. Alari crawled into there and shivered at the Fall's cold weather. She has always hated when it was cold, but there was no excuse. Like, she loves it when it's cold and there's snow, or cold and rain, but not just plain cold. "Ugh, It's like the breeze above me is stiff," she said to herself in a small whisper.
Alari curled around before flopping down on the ground, but then quickly stood up. She realized her scent was already strong, and she didn't need any more hints that she was in territory. So Alari just sat there for a bit, looking around, hearing for small sounds, smelling to see if anything was there. Alari sat there with her head held high, as if she was mocking the things that frightened her. It's what she does. Alari never tries to show fear, she laughs at the face of danger, and she does it for two reasons. To prove who she is and that she isn't scared. And if she was ever going to die, she would go down with pride.

Ácélan stretched once he reached the forest, yawning and shaking himself when he had done. He couldn't sleep. Too much wolves were in his den and, well, it wasn't very comfortable. With that thought, he made a quick mental note to kick his puppies out when he got back. They were old enough, a little over one year old, to get their own dens. Old enough to sleep alone, but not old enough to survive alone, and this was why he wanted them to find dens close to his and Keinvarii's den. He blinked and started to move deeper into the forest. This was where he met Keinvarii for the first time, and now he got four healthy puppies, all of them practically adults. It was terrifying thought. The king was five years old, yet the idea of having puppies was still scary and he was surprised that he hadn't fled yet. But he knew he would soon. Probably. Not today, that was for sure, as he wanted to see his children all grown up and happy first. He let out a snort. His paternal instincts kept kicking in and there was nothing he could do to stop it and it was a damn strange feeling. Ácélan was strangely proud of his puppies, even if they were naughty. They were living creatures with their own thoughts and attitudes and, most importantly, they were his. It had been more than a year since his children were born, and this odd feeling hadn't passed yet.
A mere thought of them brought a grin to his face as he moved through the dark forest, with his head high and his gait confident. He felt strong, protected, invincible. However all of his happiness dissolved once he caught the scent of a strange wolf. Ácélan perked up and hurried over to the source, with every intent to kick them off his territory. Literally. It wasn't long until he spotted a dark mound with a couple of pink eyes. "Hey! You! Get up!" He walked over to the stranger to prod it roughly in her sides. It was definitely not her greatest idea to trespass Ácélan's territory today, with his puppies not quite yet adults (therefore needing protection in his eyes). "You've got three seconds to explain why you're here before I kick you out!" Before he even finished the sentence, his lips curled into a snarl, baring his fangs, and flattened his ears.

Alari's ears quickly moved when she heard a sound. It was a wolf. She smiled to herself, being prepared for whatever was going to happen next. Then, the wolf came up to her saying, You have three seconds to explain why you're here before I kick you out! Since Alari didn't know what rank this wolf was, and since she was in pack territory, she would have to be nice. Alari stood tall, and smiled at the wolf politely. "Pardon me, sir for trespassing onto your territory. I was practicing my flying when I messed up a dive and stumbled down here. I tried to fly away, but my wing is hurt." Alari lowered her head a little bit to show submission. She then spread out her wing quickly so the wolf could get a glance at it. "I mean no harm, so please do forgive me. I am Alari, by the way, Sir.". Alari straightened her head again as she slowly and gently wagged her lion tail. Alari then suddenly flicked her tail on the ground swiftly, but she was still smiling.
She really didn't mean harm, and if she did, it would be both rude, and she would probably get killed. "I have something to say, if you don't mind. Why wasn't there any wolves around here? There really should have more guards patrolling at night. You never know what could happen here. Also, if I was different and I wanted to attack you territory, which I don't, there wouldn't be any wolves around here to stop me. I'm sorry for saying that about your pack, but it was just an opinion." Alari smiled and did a small shrug. She put a paw forward and shifted around before her next words. "I swear, if I were here, I would fly around all night looking wolves. Well, all night until I fall asleep." Alari smirked slightly to herself as she gave her second opinion. She wasn't lying, she was slightly giving small hints. She was thinking for a little while that it was time to join a pack. Telling pups stories, finally make some friends instead on annoying every wolf she meets, and most importantly, finally being loyal to something. Alari left her family when she was one, and has been living alone for a year now. Every wolf that she meets is nothing like her. She's always wanted to be able to actually talk to a wolf she had something in common with. So since packs are a large group of wolves, Alari might finally find someone at least a little like her. Even though she plays tricks or might taunt wolves, she wouldn't do it as much as she did before. She would only do that to wolves that either were asking for it, or if she was playing around with another wolf.
It was getting colder, and Alari shook her fur and shivered as if she was drenched in water. She wagged her tail a little bit and smiled again. Alari looked up, but only to see branches and leaves from that strange little den. She took a step forward and took a long, deep breath to only let out a great sigh. Her ears moved around for any other signs or sounds of wolf. Finally, Alari spoke again. "Wonderful territory you have, by the way." Alari then bowed down, smiling.

Her excuse better be a good one or she would be sorry. Really sorry. Ácélan had a history of having an evil temper, but ever since he met Keinvarii, his temper was slightly settled and controlled, but that did not mean it was gone completely. In fact it was there, bubbling inside him, fuelled by his overprotective parental instincts. It wouldn't take much to get him totalled riled up. The great black wolf simply stared at the feathery mound as she moved to stand up, facing him. She appeared confident, but he was pleased to see that she wasn't a fool once she moved into a more submissive position. Her excuse sounded plausible enough to make her appear less threatening, but it did nothing to quell Ácélan's anger. Coldly, he stared at the female for a long moment before acknowledging her; "Alari. She seemed friendly enough, but he shouldn't judge too hastily.
But that didn't mean he didn't think her as a clumsy idiot: "Well, can't you be more careful?! We don't want to have dead keiyous littered all around here!" His icy blue eyes flashed, and his muzzle wrinkled with a hint of snarl. Then he saw how she paused slightly as if thinking about something before went on to criticise his pack. Ácélan's ears went forwards in surprise and his eyes widened as he let out a chuckle of disbelief. Okay she might be harmless but she was an idiot. An idiot who probably was going to face Ácélan's wrath. "Are you serious? I'm pretty sure that we guard our boundaries well, because, um... oh yes, I am here! I'm here, guarding my frigging pack's borders, idiot!" He growled lightly, and crept around Alari. She was an arrogant bitch, wasn't she? Well if she was in his pack he would immediately knock some sense into her giant head.
Well, this female needed some lessons shoved into her head. Lessons of respect and politeness. And oh, there was no time better than right now. The giant wolf made one more circle around Alari before leaping at her, wide paws outstretched to pin her to the ground, snarling. "I am Ácélan Hákonsson, the King of the Centena Accord," The king's eyes gleamed viciously at the female, "And you ought to show me some respect, peasant! Don't you ever imply we're defenceless or lazy."

Alari lowered herself a little once the wolf snapped at her for being clumsy. "I-I'm sorry sir. I was being quite idiotic, flying around here so stupidly." She looked up and the wolf and smiled faintly. She couldn't help but to lower her ears a little after her comment about the wolf's pack. Clearly, he wasn't in the mood for opinions. Alari winced as the wolf talked, his voice full of hatred. She stood tall again once the wolf finished so she could answer, softly, "I'm sorry, I really am! I just thought there would be more than one wolf patrolling here. Clearly I was too foolishly blind to talk about your pack sir. I am very, very sorry." At that moment, Alari then realized she was dealing with an alpha here.
Why an alpha? Out of all of the wolves, an alpha? Really? She thought to herself as the wolf circled her. Then, that's when she fell over onto her back, and her eyes widened with surprise. This wolf just pinned her! Alari had to think of something, and she had to think of something fast. She could be torn up any minute, and Alari had a feeling she was about to be. So that's when she had to speak, in her calmest, sweetest voice. "First, nice to meet you King Acelan, and the pleasure is all mine. Next, I wasn't saying that your pack was lazy, I was just giving out a highly idiotic opinion. I wish I could take it back, I really do, King! I am terribly, terribly sorry."
Alari stopped looking up at the wolf and lowered her head, then, she put her tail between her legs and gave a small whimper. Her eyes closed preparing for the next part. She licked her nose nervously before opening her eyes again to whimper and look up at the wolf with her eyes sparkling with water. "I should've never acted so stupid. If you're going to draw blood, if you make it quick, then that would be grand. I don't have time to suffer. If you aren't going to draw blood, then that is pretty smart, and, well. Never mind. Why would a King listen to a peasant like me? I probably already sound so foolish right now, might as well be a pup. Why? Because that's how I act most of the time. A bitchy, stupid, smart-ass pup." Alari flicked her tail and then whipped it onto the ground continuously. Her breathing became slower, and she shut her eyes again. Wow, this wolf actually hasn't killed me yet. Can alphas even kill loners? Wow, I am really, retarded.
