The Keiyou swooped and glided her way around the snow-covered trees, hitting a bunch of them which sent snow tumbling down towards her. Fortunately for her, she was a Keiyou and had easily avoided the frosty snow. Now as the sun sets over the horizon, Dime can't help but to fly atop the trees and nestle in it's embrace. Before she landed, she made sure to check that her wings were as beautiful as they were before she flew from her earlier branches. Eyeing a few twigs here and there, she began to build a nest for herself even if she had already built one some few acres away. It was because she didn't like staying in the same place for too long.
Being a Keiyou, one must not take refuge in a place for so long. Then what are your wings for?
"I know, I know. I get it. Thanks for the wise words sis." Shaking of the feeling that her sister was somehow able to get into her head.
Alas the sun was now halfway down and Dime slowly had risen just to stretch those long wings. They were aching like mad. The few drops of sunlight had shone onto her rusty-brown coat giving it just a slight tinge of red as her markings swirled to look like they were attracted to the light. Just beyond the distance she could hear a wolf's howl, her ears perked up but lay relaxed again.
"It was nothing. Sounds like some male wolf calling to his mate. Doesn't concern me at all but what bothers me is that I'm. Sooooooooo. Boooored!"
The sound traveling throughout the hectic snow made a slight buzzing noise leaving Dime frustrated. She had been flying in the morning and found nothing to entertain her except opening and closing her wings, been flying all afternoon and found no one except a jackrabbit to which she swiftly caught and ate and now it's sunset and still no one has come out of the shadows.
*I swear the next wolf I see. I will make sure to lunge and beg the wolf to entertain me even if it does not want to*
Thumping her tail patiently she waits for another wolf.
