[atrb=border,0,true][bg=6e854c]is it just me or am i inconsiderate? The humid air was getting to her. This humidity was not her favorite thing. She always liked those warm days, though with winter arriving, she didn't have a choice. Snow would go all other places, but here, where it was warm, though this place also had cool weather. Valdis always grew up knowing some day she would die, like her mother. Her father but she did not know where he was. For most chances, she took the hunch he was dead too. Us Kukkiens don't have much of a life span, though still enough time to enjoy their life. Which she wished for. The rain-forest was a bit nosy with the birds around. You could taste the humid air in your mouth, which was a bit bothersome, but also not bad. It made good time for the flowers on her neck to sprout and grow, not like they did already, though it was also good to see what flowers grew at this time of the year. She knew she didn't have much time, she knew she had some siblings, though she didn't know where they were now. She hadn't talked to them much, so even if she did die without helping her dead parents, she knew that one of her siblings would. Was this my fate? or destiny? Who knows, though right now she knew that by just sitting here under this large tree was not going to help. She needed someone to socialize with.. if not, she may just die of loneliness which she did not want to happen. She wanted a exciting, and cheerful life while it lasted. Lowering her head, she let it droop down by the forest floor. A slow smooth sigh slipped from her lips, as her ears fell back. Depression already starting to come over this loneliness. Laying down on her stomach, she wrapped her long smooth and fluffy tail around her hind legs, as her head rested on her front paws. "Why must my life happen like this? Nothing I want comes true." Standing to her feet lazily, she pulled some effort to herself to make an effort to go somewhere else. Just laying here was not going to make any difference on changing her life to what she wanted it to be. Her paws dragged gently against the ground, her eyes watching to the left, right and ahead of her. The scent of cool water flowed through her sinuses. Water?! she gave a small smile before beginning a slow jog, then began to run. Jumping over roots of the trees, dodging bushes, and ducking quickly under overhead branches. The water making her more thirsty than she was before. She knew that it was fresh and sweet just by its smell. Eyes widen with excitement, you could tell she favored water. It was what brought her to think positively, it gave her the thought that she still had a good chance at what she wanted her life to be. Slowing down, she smiled thoughtfully at the running liquid the she observed over the small bank. Lowering her head, her tongue began to lap up the water, scooping it into her mouth, and letting the coldish warm water run down her soar, dry throat. OOC mmm I don't know if this is good? is it? His pack was coming together quite nicely, if he didn't say so himself. Sylvester had a smug air about him, as he trampled through the under brush, power just went to his head.
These were his lands, and he would deal with anybody who thought differently. His fur crackled with electricity, and the air was energized around him. He had not acquired full rein of his powers, so when he was as excited as he was, he could help it.
He was the only thing crackling with energy. His teal eyes shot up to look through the green canopy above him. If he squinted, he could see the darkening clouds between the breaks of leaves and branches.
Sylvester had not gone far when he heard someone else traveling through his lands. He growled, thinking someone had come in to snoop around. He couldn't have that. He stalked after the noise, immediately switching his weight so he could move stealthily.
He jumped out from behind a bush as he heard a tongue lapping at water. His yell of triumph died in his throat as he was faced with a rare wolf, one of which he had only heard of in stories. If he didn't have his issue with touching, he would have gotten closer to look at her soft fur. He tried momentarily to recall what her kind were called, in the details of her species, but he could not. So he gave up.
He replaced his dumbfounded expression with a scowl. "Hello" He said gruffly. The air around him crackled, as the clouds above, clearly seen in a break in the trees, flashed ominously.

Calabar walked through the jungle, noting with a bit of pleasure that it was a nice humid day. Yes, he liked the humidity. It would make the flowers on his back flourish. He was thinking of spending the winter in the Jungle, or at least the entirety of the southern lands. It would be much warmer down here. No way in hell was he EVER going up North, though, even during the summer.
Soon he came to a small river, or maybe it was a large stream? Never the less, it was water. To water the pretty jungle flowers that were growing on his back, he waded into it until he got out to the middle, bending his knees just a bit to let some water brush over his back, moistening the flowers. Satisfied wit that, Cal headed upstream, mulling to himself the quiet, yet disquiet of the jungle. Birds were singing and he could hear distant crickets. The wind weaves through the trees. But it was still quiet. No other wolves were around.
The Kukkien had tried to meet other wolves in the more populated areas, he had. But it had all gone wrong. He'd only met one, who'd tripped over him and broken some of his flowers. Cal didn't like him. So now he was in the Jungle for the winter, and he doubted many wolves lived in here. Oh well, a friend would be nice, but he guessed he'd have to spend the winter months alone. It's not like he had a lot of time left. What, two, maybe three years? As he went further along, he heard some rustling. Moving forward more, he saw a wolf bend her head and lap at the water. Not just a wolf, but a Kukkien! Another Kukkien! Oh my! She was pretty! Was she spending winter in the jungle, too? Oh, he hoped so!
He moved through the water and stopped a few feet short of her. "Hello." He kept a curious look about him and tilted his head.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,422,true] | [atrb=background,http://i49.tinypic.com/ngoydz.jpg]The warm air made the water slightly warmer, though she didn't mind. She knew, northern of the stream the water would be cooler. Lifting her heah, from the water, small drops dangled from her fur on her chin. Letting her tongue quickly solve that problem, she glanced around. This place wasn't all that bad in a way. Shaking her fur slightly, she could feel her planted mane begin to tangle with her fur. How that annoyed her so much! Sighing gently, she laid herself down on the ground. Her paws just lightly touching the top of the running water.
Her long tail curled around her hindlegs. The tip of it just reaching the back heel of her elbow of her front leg. Eyes blinked for a moment, before glancing up again. The trees were so tall. Nothing had she seen it. She spent most of her time in the Eastern parts of this place. It was only resent she decided to come here and see what the weather was like, wondering if she would like this weather better than the eastern weather. Ears flicked to a sound in the bushes.
Lifting her head, she stood to her feet. Her long tail trailing behind her hind legs in light flicks. Eyes quickly glanced around, wondering whom had come close to her. Turning toward a figure pulling out, his words trailed to her ears. "Hello" they had spoke. Eyes glanced toward the creature. Observing its features. Greenish.. plant mane.. She widen her eyes slightly. Another Kekkien! She took a small step forward, before her own words sent out toward him. "Hello" giving a sheepish smile, she held her head fairly high, showing friendliness toward the other.
It had been so long since she seen another Kukkien which were her parents. She knew they were gone now, though she still kept them in her heart. A slight ray of sun showed through the tree leaves, giving the multicolor jewel that was attacked to a thin vine that hung around her neck shine some. She had always admired its colors when it was in the sun. The colors reminded her that she could still have some hope and freedom in the future, it was what kept her going with positive thoughts and ideals. | |
