Fyodor was at a loss of words. He was quite the taciturn wolf, but behind his unspoken words were volumes and what he did manage to speak usually were not wasted words. But this instance had his sharp mind reeling. He didn’t know what to rank Keely’s brother. To be frank, he didn’t care for the brother as much as Keely did and did, quite actually think he would do best in a less trusted position. Even though they had made up, there was this note of bitterness due to that fateful first impression.
Even Fyodor knew that it wasn’t any of their faults. Perhaps the reason why he was thinking reservedly about Obi’s position was simply because he himself had made the mistake. He had pounced first, asked questions later—which wasn’t to his true, usually careful nature.
The Consul, who seemed the more dominant leader somehow, decided that it was best not to show his mate his hidden dislike. He would wear a face, be hospitable, and actually take this wolf at face value. The only skill that Fyodor saw demonstrated was the fact that, like he, the wolf was quick to jump into action and protect Keely. While it did make Fyodor slightly jealous that Keely could love another wolf—even if it was a sibling love—he couldn’t turn his back on it.
Genially he said because he genuinely wanted to please his mate and knew that his contempt was baseless, “Maybe cen-cen-cen...” He gave a sigh, “…cen… turi… Centur—cen…” His posture crumpled. He then sang it out, “Centurion!” And was too wildly loud that he almost scared himself. But at least he had a good tone.
Yes, they could be civil. He wanted to be Obi’s friend now. And Fyodor pushed his dislike to the back of his mind to let it fester and wither away until he could only feel a sense of cordiality toward Obi.

"Centurion?" Obi asked, it sounded important. He felt the itch of his new tail coming in and couldn't help thumping it against the hard ground. He looked at Keely. She seemed very happy. Obi was happy enough to be baack with her. Of course there was Fyodor, but Obi wanted to be friends with him to make Keely happy. Obi sighed. He would put aside the differences for now. He smiled at Keely, "Sounds like fun."
