Shaina picked up her pace awkwardly. Being in a warmer place then the cold mountains felt like a whole different world to her. This was not what she thought would ever happen.
The short rat myou looked up at the pokey porcupine myou and sighed. She was still in a small daze of confusement. Her mother had given her up. Just like a small prize. Like she was nothing but a bother. Shaina sniffed. Even so, she knew the male from a while back, but that didn't mean being gave away like a slave didn't hurt.
"Where are we going?" she asked sadly. He seemed to be slowly gaining speed, making her pick up her pace once again. She stopped abruptly and turned. "Mommy?" she mumbled sadly, then noticed that they had traveled far from her home, leaving any trace of her mother that she loved dearly. She sniffed and turned again, catching back up to the male.

Archer plodded along the meadow, sniffing for roots, berries and maybe any meats he could find. He had noticed the little squirt following behind him. But hey, she was young, she was pretty, and she was a SHE! Bingo, ding ding ding! He didn't know that the random female... he thought her name was Linnea, from what he remembered. But he didn't know the pup she'd promised him would be a female. All the better. He thought smugly.
Where are we going? The runt asked. He mulled over an answer to give her. He had three options. Lie, tell her, or snap. Before he could say a word though, she turned around and called for her mother. It would've been heartbreaking, had he not had other, more, involved thoughts on his mind. She turned again and was soon by him again. Archer mentally smirked. Light bulb. He stopped and turned towards the other horizon, looking into the distance from where they'd come from. "Oh, look! It's your mother!" He said, trying to get her to turn around. Sure, he could just pin and force her, but surprise would be so much funner.

A small salted tear fell from her gray maw. Her crown dropped as she thought. She wondered, how could her mother, as sweet as she seemed, be so cruel as to give her last pup of this litter away? Sure, she would have more in the future, but this was crazy!
Despite being given away to this male, she loved him. Not like a female loves her mate, but friend love. She trusted him. Since they met she has always trusted him. Besides, it's better being given to him than some other male, right?
"Oh, look! It's your mother!"
Something didn't seem right. His voice was different now. A different tone. Her gut feeling told her not to turn. Her heart throbbed at her. She couldn't smell her mother, but her scent could have changed somewhat. But even still, she would have smelled something. To be safe, she just turned her crown, and not her body. She looked out at the corner of her black eyes and saw nothing. She snorted. "You liar."
Something then told her to run. Her head shrieked at her. She couldn't hold back, not with the male lying to her. In a dash, she turned and started to run. Faster and faster, she began to tire. Her small legs can only go so far. She fell in front of a tree, in a small daze.

Well, his plan half-worked. She started by calling him names. Feh, well, if she's gonna be like that... but before he could do anything, she turned and took off in a dead run in the other direction. Archer sighed. He wasn't too worried. Even though he was no gold-medal Olympic marathon runner, hell, not even close, he would not be outran by a runty rat like her. Archy began in a trot after her. Just as he was prepared to catch up to her, she went and collapsed next to a tree. Archer had a familiar sense of Deja-vu, before smirking at himself. Soon he was over her, perched like a falcon waiting to swoop on it's prey. A thread of excitement ran through him as he settled, trying not to poke her with too many of his quills, though if a few got through his defenses, he could deal with it later. "Surprise!" His voice was a growl, laced with hunger, gleeful excitement and menace all mixed. Then it began.

For the remainder of this time, Shaina was in a daze. Except she could feel everything that the horrible, mean, male put on her. As he settled himself a few of his quills poked at her thin fur. She whelped as his movements moved them away from her.
"Surprise!"
His voice sounded wicked. A power hungry, evil male. Shaina squealed here and there to let him know he should at least be easy, with what he's doing now.
Finally he finished. Shaina stood slowly. Slightly hurt by him. Physically and mentally bruised, scarred, nothing could help her now. The state of depression will come quickly, if it's not already here. She stared up at him. She blinked. She wondered what others would think of her now. What would she be known as, the young whore? That's what she felt like. Now she stunk, she smelled like Archer. We all know that's not right. She scrunched her nose, trying to not smell herself now. Except she failed. Her stench disgusted her. "Archer," she mumbled as she attempted to walk. She collapsed yet again, this time not falling into a daze. She just stayed there, like a zombie, trying to realize what had just happened.

He smiled as he pulled away, content and satisfied, at least for now. For a moment, he debated having some more fun. But, again, Archer's thoughts were interrupted as the pup began stumbling around in a daze. She'd squealed during the fun. He'd enjoyed it. Sure, he had been a little, okay, a lot, rough, but hey, as long as he'd had fun. Shaina quietly said his name. Yes, he'd enjoyed that. "Yes, dear?" Archer purred, walking up to her and beginning to lick at her ears. Oh yes, he could picture the times they'd have together that would come. "Are you asking for... more" He said is lovingly, yet dangerously. He would wait for an answer, if only just to make it more fun. The male breathed in the scent of her fur, now smelling slightly of him. Oh yes, she was his now. All his. A possessive thought washed over him. Mine!Sniffing her again, he was still debating on having some more fun. Now or later? The ironic thought came. He smiled, a big, toothy grin. Those sharp, wolf teeth in a wolf-porcupine face would seem menacing. "More...?" He asked tentatively, nudging her face.

"Yes, dear?"
She cringed at the sound of his returning voice. The word, dear, didn't make her feel too pleasant. At the most she would grow to hate that word. He seemed to be rubbing it in. She gulped as he started coming over to her. She looked at the ground in front of her as he started licking her gray ears. Why me? She sighed as he spoke. She knew he would force himself on her again.
"Are you asking for... more?"
Shaina stayed quiet, she seemed scared to speak. What would he do now? Make her call him 'father' or 'daddy.' She rolled her eyes at the thought. She knew who her real father was, and she would tell him. Even if the last time she saw him was when she was a newborn. She slightly pulled her crown away as he started sniffing at her fur. Then she gazed at his grin. He showed his teeth. Now she could tell he was a threat. He looked crazed, he looked... scary.
She struggled as he nudged her face. "No," she said. Her paw claws dug into the dirt as she attempted to pull herself away. Now she wanted her mother. Dare she say it, she wished she was here. Even if all this was her fault, she could forgive her now if she came to her rescue. She whimpered, she knew that would never be.

No. No was the one word that Archer hated. He knew she would say it, because he wanted to punish her. Oh yes, he did. But in a way that would be totally great for himself. "You'll learn not to use that work with me, runt." He rumbled, pinning her down onto the ground. He brought his muzzle to her ear, and began at a soft whisper. Yes, a soft whisper full of menace and deadly promise. "I do believe... that deserves punishment." He chuckled lowly, thinking to himself. Oh yes, this time he would not hold back. He would be purposefully rough and ungentle. She would learn. She was now his, and would do what he said, and she would like it! "Don't worry, dear. You'll learn to love it!" And it began again. "You are mine!" He snarled.

"You'll learn not to use that work with me, runt."
She struggled. She knew he was going to hurt her once again. She digged into the dirt trying to pull herself faster. Unfortunately, she failed. He had her pinned to the ground. Slowly she began to feel his hot breath on her ear. It flicked uncomfortably; Irritated.
"I do believe... that deserves punishment."
Shaina gasped. She tried struggling out of his reach again, but he was much too strong for her. She paused as she listened to him chuckle. This male was evil. Crazed, and to think they were once some sort of best friends. "You're evil!" she exclaimed as she struggled again.
"Don't worry, dear. You'll learn to love it!"
She stopped in her struggling to get free. That... word. Dear. It pierced at her heart. Like I said, she will learn to hate that word.
"You are mine!"
He snarled at her. She whimpered as it started again. This time it was far from easy. He was giving it all he had. Shaina didn't like this, but she couldn't tell. Soon her body fell limp, perhaps Archer was going too hard for the pup. Everything was dark. She could hear, she could speak, but couldn't see. She breathed deeply as he stopped. Her body fell to the ground as he unhooked his legs from around her waist. "I.. I can't see.." Lucky for her, she couldn't smell now either. She was vulnerable. To any predator.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,500,true] | [atrb=background,http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b270/Nefeldaiel/skorchaTABLE_02.png][atrb=width,500,true]All around her, the bitter edge of winter furthered it's clutch around her heart. Her pelt was as full as ever and her ruff was bristling against the cold, but the chill wind was tugging away any heat she had left. Her five tails slashed against her side, pulled and prodded by the wind as if urging her owards. She paused and turned her head around to look back to the north. The remains of her attachment to the vast forest she had visited only a few days prior still begged her to go back, but she knew that without a pack to huddle together with she would most likely freeze to death. Unlike some of her former packmates, she didn't have the full undercoat that enable her to live in cold climates.
She needed to head further south, where the winter might not reach her, where the smell of snow wouldn't threaten at every horizon. Skorcha urged herself a little bit faster to generate more body heat. She was cold and the exercise warmed her only a little, so she sped up faster until she was a swift clip, her padded feet making nary a sound on the frostbitten grass. She stopped inside a small copse of trees, the wind lessening as she reached their shelter. The small wolf breathed a swift sigh of relief. With any luck there would be the remains of some sort of den here that she could occupy for the--
Her thoughts stopped, ears suddenly flying forward. Nose quivering, body crouched, she slunk warily closer at an angle, always keep herself halfway turned. There! Another cry. It was a pup's whimpers. Her heart melted, concern belting at her soul until she flung caution aside and sprinted towards the sound. A much larger male Myou was crouched over a batter, bruised, and whimpering Myou pup. Her left ear flicked disdainfully. She didn't particularly care for the double-souled Myou, but her mothering nature was already aroused and she wouldn't back away now.
With hackles bristling, she stepped into their range of motion with a prim, lady-like step. Her ire wasn't even slightly veiled. This was something she was not pleased about and she certainly intended to tell this no-good, idiotic male just exactly what she thought of his "fathering".
"And just what do you think you're doing, Quillface? Can't you see she's had enough? Honestly, traveling with a pup that small in the beginning of winter! Who do you think you are? I ought to feed you to the crows for that kind of parenting."
She stalked over to Shaina and knelt, beginning to gently lick her cuts and bruises, tails curling protectively about her small form. Poor thing. She looked like she'd been through hell and back. What she needed was some TLC, not being dragged through this icy, windy meadow. A low growl murmured through her throat, Skorcha's spring green eyes narrowed and glowly. Stupid males, they were pigheaded fools - all of them!

Archer smiled, his tongue lolling, as he watched the pup flop to the ground. He basically ignored her plea of her inability to see. "Come now, you'll be fine, dear." He purred, his fur fluffed and his senses happy. Oh yes, that'd been fun. Sure, he was probably still ready to go, but she looked more or less worn out for... the week. He shrugged disdainfully at her. "You should learn to handle it better." Archer promised, giving her a subtle warning of, that yes, it would be no easier in the future.
He stopped in his lecture as another female padded up, growling and grouching at him before stooping to tend to Shaina. He bit back a growl of anger at her words. Hm... I can use this to my advantage. She didn't look like she'd heard any of his earlier words. "I know! I need a good mother around. She's not mine... but I had to take her, because her real mother abandoned her." It was more or less true. He looked at Shaina, forcing a frustrated look. "But your doing a great job..." He did a half-sulk. Oh yes... he just had to win this female over... then he'd be a true male. Yes, long live King Archer! He could see it now. Besides, he could be a good guy... when he wasn't forcing himself upon pups.
"Your so beautiful and great with her!" He exclaimed as she continued her ministrations. He gave an astonished and awed, but still dashing as he could, look at her. "Jeez... all the males must be nipping at your heels, Babe." He finally took a look at her fur. She really was pretty. Very pretty, and she had five tails. Archer suddenly wanted her for his own. Yes, she could give him a proper litter of pups, not like that whore, Linnea.

"Come now, you'll be fine, dear."
What? After abusing her and rapping her he wants her to get up and act like nothing happened. She just stayed on the ground, not even attempting to move. Surely the brute could have some softness in his heart. Still the sound of 'dear' made her sick. She held down the urge to vomit.
"You should learn to handle it better."
A hard breath escaped from her maw then. She felt like at that point she had been kicked in her gut and stabbed multiple times by his quills. She stayed quiet, holding back tears. This was her life now.
"And just what do you think you're doing, Quillface? Can't you see she's had enough? Honestly, traveling with a pup that small in the beginning of winter! Who do you think you are? I ought to feed you to the crows for that kind of parenting."
Could that possibly be her mother? In a tint it so possibly could be. Shaina twitched as she felt a wet tongue over her cuts and wounds. She felt one tail curl around her body. She snuggled up in it, finally comfortable. A growl so similar to Archer's made her cringe. "Mother?"
Slowly her consciousness returned and she was fully functional. She glanced down at her battered body and sighed. Then back up at the female. She pawed at her tails that surrounded her. This surely wasn't her mother. She smelled her scent now. That confirmed it. She looked at the ground then, disappointed.
She wanted to tell the female of all the hell Archer and her mother had put her through. To warn her. Sure she was beaten, but she didn't want another to get hurt. She ignored Archer's comments to female. Her own smell started filling her nostrils once again. She coughed and nearly gagged. She smelled like sex. Like Archer. "Don't.. listen-" She stopped, mid-sentence to gaze at Archer. He would more than likely punish her again if she said more. So she didn't.

Who did this guy think he was, really? Anyone could be better mother than someone who decided to drag their itty bitty pup out in this chilly weather and then run her to the ground. She really out to mention something like that to him too and did so. She snorted and tossed her head regally, looking at the Myou with icy eyes.
"At this rate, anyone could do better at parenting than you. Look at her, she looks like she's been bitten and shoved for the past week. I suppose you want to blame her mother for that, too? Some of these are more recent than you might think."
She continued to grumble under her breath. At least the idiot knew how to compliment a lovely lady like her, Skorcha noted. She paid special attention to those puncture wounds, doing her best to clean out the gouges with her tongue. And, the more she smelled the pup, the more she noticed the stench that covered her. She paused as the little thing tried to squeak out word, then fell silent. Skorcha waited a moment longer to see if anything else would come out, then resumed grooming.
"I'm sorry I'm not your mother," she whispered gently in the young wolf's ear, giving her a comforting lick across the skull. "I know how hard it is to be left on your own. He isn't even your father, is he?"
Skorcha wrinkled her nose as the musky smell and tried to mark it off as poor health and lack of proper caregiving. Still, there was something wrong about it that she couldn't place her paw on. She fluffed out her fur appreciatively at the male's words, but chilled a little at the last words. She had never had a male chase after her, perhaps because she simply exuded bitterness or was still hung up on Malathyne's mate, and the words about males nipping at her heels brought a hollow feeling back to her chest.
"Those males you mention must be InvisiBobs because I have never been courted by anything but this damnable winter wind," she mused wryly.

He mentally sighed as she furthered insult him. Hn, she was a tough one, but she was pretty too, and something about her pushiness tugged at his heart. He liked the way she was sharp. Archer suddenly got a memory of his mother telling him a bed-time story. Love at first sight. His heart fluttered. Oh yes, he was finding more and more qualities he likes about this female.
Not bothering to point out that A, it was her mother who'd abandoned her and B, he'd already said that Shaina was not his pup, he leaned down to sniff at the little whelp. "Well, I must admit, I'm not all that experienced at caring for pups." He looked at the female, still licking the precious baby. His eyes rolled over her. Hm, how to subtly compliment her in a way that she would love? The wheels turned in his mind, until something made it easier.
"Those males you mention must be InvisiBobs because I have never been courted by anything but this damnable winter wind,"
He looked at her, jaw slightly gaped, and gave her another winning smile. "Well, then that wind has good taste, and all the other males in the land are idiots, for not seeing the beautiful gem right in front of them." He purred. He wanted to compliment her, for he felt she deserved it. Past his own lusty desires, he REALLY did like her, not just for the fact that she could be some fun. "Perhaps you would like to... assist me, with rearing this pup?" He smiled. Oh yes, he didn't care at the moment that it would make it harder to have fun with Shaina if this new female was around. He liked the new female. She would probably be even more fun then Shaina. "Her name is Shaina, by the way. And I'm Archer."

Shaina ignored the adults as they talked and fit over her. She concentrated further on slowing her breathing. At the moment she felt like her heart was going a million beats a minute. She opened her maw and took in a deep breath.
"I'm sorry I'm not your mother,"
The females sentence caught her attention and she whimpered softly. Of course. Of course it wouldn't be her mother. Shaina lifted her head and gazed out at her rapist frowning. So horrible, in such short time life changed so drastically. Her thoughts were cut short as she felt the female's warm tongue rub against her skull.
"I know how hard it is to be left on your own. He isn't even your father, is he?"
Shaina shook her head slowly. "No. No he could never be," she replied before sniffing. She stood lowly, and walked around the femme's legs. She twisted herself comfortably to where she could still gaze at Archer. She comforted herself in the Miss' fur. Shaina lifted her head softly, attempting to whisper in the she-wolf's ear. She lowered her tone. "Whatever you do. Don't say no." She allowed her head to drop once again and growled a sweet puppy growl at Archer. He knew what he'd done. From that point on she listened to their words. Taking them in by caution.
"Well, then that wind has good taste, and all the other males in the land are idiots, for not seeing the beautiful gem right in front of them."
Shaina rolled her eyes. Surely this Miss wasn't falling for his tricks? Shaina gazed up at her. It seemed she was. She sighed and looked back at Archer.
"Perhaps you would like to... assist me, with rearing this pup?"
Shaina nearly jumped. He has to be joking. She shook her head tenderly. She didn't want him hurting this femme. She didn't know what she was getting herself into. "You.. You can't. There's a reason. You can't!" She pushed at the female's legs. She growled again as she glanced at Archer. Surely she would get punished for this, but it was the least she could do to save a fellow female.
