From the cliffs everything was visible. Okoe Beach was below, with the waters of the cove lapping at the sand. Talyn Island was visible, tucked away behind the walls of the cliffs. Kriko forest could be seen on the other side of the cliffs, opposite from the one that Rostyn stood on. And then, of course, there were the cliffs themselves. Mergindia Caverns were all that could not be seen from this vantage point.
Standing at the edge of the cliff, Rostyn looked at his land - his Kingdom. This would be a haven for those of any and all beliefs and for anyone with any idea of opinion. No one would be discriminated against here, at least not based on mind. Physicality, however, was something that Rostyn had a problem with. Some wolves had strange additions to their bodies that he wasn't used to, such as wings and horns. Horns that were small and not large in number were fine, but large horns or many horns made him edge. And the wings! The wings on some of the wolves here were far too outlandish and flashy for his taste. Rostyn's white fur shook in the breeze that was coming off of the ocean. Before him was the path that would lead down to the beach, but he was not certain that he wanted to go down there just yet. The sun would not be setting for quite some time.
With a sigh, Rostyn sat. Where Elpidia, the mind-wolf, was, he did not know. He had no idea as to where Adolf may be at the moment, either. There were so few here, though at least he had a pack to call his own. All that was left now was to gain more members and grow in number. Rostyn lowered his head, closing his eyes against the wind, and imagined what a great Kingdom this place would someday be.
If only he had a mate...

Yawning, a red colored Keiyou wandered about the Yvit Cove. Hunting had become sort of an issue, with the scent of packs almost everywhere lately. It was like they'd just appeared from nowhere. One moment, he was fine hunting in the jungle, the next, he wasn't welcome any longer. The red Keiyou wasn't enjoying being a loner. Chances of him surviving with all the packs were slim. Speaking of packs, Valtteri scented one nearby. In fact, he scented wolf as well. He suddenly felt out in the open, even though he was sure he'd kept outside the borders. That's when he spotted the white male by the cliffs. A shiver went down his spine. Should he talk to the male? Or should he turn heel and run for his life. Because that's what seemed to be the better choice to Valtteri. Caught between the two choices, he decided to make a run for it. Chances were good that he could make it out of the border before being caught. However, Val had a slim chance anyhow.
Before he could run, Valtteri sneezed. "Shoot...I guess I ruined that," he hissed to himself. Which, was funny to him. The male sort of laughed softly, trying not to look like a threat if the male had heard. Which wasn't hard, since Val wasn't exactly threatening. Though, the male could probably take him as one. For all the male knew, he was evil. Not quite. Valtteri was a normal Lupus. Okay, maybe he really wasn't Lupus, but he didn't exactly have the wings of his true species. There were merely scars left of them. Plus, in his mind, he wasn't Keiyou, since he hadn't been raised as one. Not that the male needed to know his entire story. In fact, maybe if he was lucky, he'd still be able to run. No matter how unlikely it was for him to outrun the male. Maybe the pack was nice. Maybe the male wasn't in a high position, so he wouldn't attack. Maybe he'd just get a warning. That would be nice.
It would be just his luck, however, that the male was the alpha of the pack.

Head bowed and eyes closed, Rostyn allowed images to dance through his head; images of the pack he would one day lead. The cool sea breeze kept him confortable, though he was sitting in bright, warm sunlight. Rostyn liked Yvit Cove because the temperature was pleasant and the atmosphere was calm and peaceful. His ears drooped as he relaxed and his chest expanded as he took in deep breaths of refreshing air. What a beautiful place this was.
Someone sneezed, interrupting the solitude that Rostyn was enjoying. He didn't even flinch at the sound, though his ears pricked back up, then flicked back to attempt to hear any more sound from whoever was there. There was nothing at first, except perhaps some movement, and Rostyn let his ears relax a little. Without getting up, he turned his head, craning his neck to see behind him. The wolf that he saw looked like a Lupus to him, with no extra parts. It was a reddish in color, with some white. "Hello there," he said quite calmly, still not moving. "Can I help you?"
Rostyn stood and turned around, then, as he yawned, he stretched out his front legs and back until he was, in a sense, bowing. "You prob'ly already know this," he commented lightly. "But you're on pack lands. Well, Kingdom, actually." He titled his head lightly as he looked the stranger over, but was unable to really discern any important information about the wolf. "Majilu Adomé Kingdom, to be exact. I'm Rostyn." He gave the stranger one of his silly grins, not just to appear more friendly but simply because he felt like grinning. "Who're you?"

Eyes flicked as she blinked lightly. It was quiet. The cliffs were large. Cliffs, she was not used to them. Coming from a place in the east had little cliffs, these cliffs were quite large. A whimper let out as she lowed her head, eyes watching around me as my paw tapped the ground lightly, no sound. The taste of the air here was different, but sweet. She stopped for a second, as she shook her pelt lightly from the dusted air. A grunt escaping lightly. Her green color ears flicked up, listening up ahead, and around her. Was this place empty. No. There was someone here, others. Though the scent of my species was low, and she could only smell herself. Dark green colored eyes searched the area. This silent pressure was getting to her. Soon, if not later, she might wussy, and collapse. Pressure. She despised it. She didn;t like it at all.
Eyes looked up to my green horns upon her head. These horns, i wonder, if i might scare someone, or hurt, i do not want that she thought in her head as she lowered it. How different she was. Though not really that different , except her appearance, which she did not want others to be afraid of. Silently she continued on. Her legs carrying her heavy frame along the ground. High upon the cliff. She was actually amazed she was able to get herself up here from the beaches. Well with her heavy pelt, and weight, you except her to have trouble, which of course she did.
Her horns. She did not think of them as weapons, only decoration you could say, though will use them if in battle, or even defense. Though that was the way she was taught of course. The sky was lit with a blue color. Beautiful. White fluffy clouds filling it. The sound of running water below. All so peaceful. All so unique. All so natural.
Though her day dreaming soon ended. A stronger sent of species before her she could smell. Her legs stopped instantly, as she stood there. Head held high, her ears flickering, and her nose flared. Should i continue? or would it be okay to talk? she thought silently, before shaking her head in disagreement with herself, and decided to stay were she was, for now.

Valtteri blinked before swallowing hard. At least the other male wasn't trying to kill him just yet. "I was just leaving. I didn't even realize this was pack territory until I scented you. My apologies," he stated in a soft tone. Blinking again, Val looked over the cliffs past the male as the male bowed. When he was smiled at, the Keiyou seemed to relax slightly. Perhaps he really wasn't going to be attacked. "My name is Valtteri. I'm a loner. But I promise I'm no threat." He returned a small smile, giving his tail a slight wag. Then, he whipped his head around, dropping into a crouch and growling. Something was back there. He could feel it. The change of aura.
Then, Val realized it was sort of rude to be growling before a pack member. He relaxed and turned back to Rostyn. "My apologies, Rostyn; I thought I heard something. Guess I was wrong, he said strongly. Somehow, he trusted his gut, casting long glances toward the area that made him uncomfortable. Perhaps nothing was there, but it surely wasn't like him to assume things were lurking in the woods. Naturally, he was going to be more aware. His golden hues narrowed before turning back to Rostyn once more. "Perhaps you could tell me about your pack? They've become so abundant, I feel unsafe alone. Ya'know? his question sort of lingered in the air as he stood there. The red male shifted from paw to paw uncomfortably as the hairs rose on the back of his neck. Hopefully this male wouldn't become aware of how Val was acting. It was mildly unlikely, since he wasn't trying to hide it, but it was possible. A shiver ran through the brute as he stood still finally.
ooc// It's short...sorry. Also, sorry for the wait. Computer decided to crash...

Rostyn’s entire demeanor was welcoming and friendly. It was in his nature to be calm and easy going, and it was no different with strangers than it was with those that he knew. Of course, if this particular stranger had approached him and had a set of wings or horns, Rosyn’s reaction would have been the complete opposite. It wasn’t that he hated wolves with “extra” parts, but that he was afraid of them because they were different from what he was used to. “It’s alright,” Rostyn answered. “You’re welcome to wander the land as much as you like, as long as you aren’t causing trouble.” As he yawned a second time, Rostyn lowered his back end and sat down calmly, as if he wasn’t worried at all about whether or not this stranger might be dangerous. Either Rostyn was overconfident, or really didn’t care what intentions Valtteri had.
Though Valtteri turned to face something and growl, Rostyn seemed unfazed, both by the growling and by whatever presence was watching them. He merely watched Valtteri with interest, waiting for the moment when he would realize that no one was hiding nearby. As Valtteri turned around again to face him, Rostyn nodded his head once in response, to acknowledge Valtteri’s reasons for turning to growl. “No worries. I heard it too, but I don’t think there is anyone out there.” It never occurred to Rostyn that he was being too laid back. Perhaps a normal alpha would have been more defensive about someone invading his territory, but Rostyn didn’t mind if strangers entered his lands as long as they weren’t causing trouble.
“About my pack?” Rostyn answered thoughtfully to Valtteri’s subtle questions. “Well, anyone is welcome here when it comes to beliefs and thoughts. We’re very welcoming to any frame of mind.” He thought for a moment on whether or not to mention his aversion to those with wings and horns or other strange parts to Valtteri. He decided quickly, however, that it was best if he just left the description of the pack at that. He hadn’t lied, after all, since he hadn’t said that anyone was welcome. He had told the truth and simply left some out, and he felt that was good enough. “We’re very open to new ideas here,” Rostyn said cheerily. “You’d be very welcome if you chose to stay.”
