Bright eyed and bushy tailed. Most of the time, that described an eager, ready for anything young wolf who was up and about to be the first explorer into some vast unknown. This unknown could range from the first step to the first hunt, but it was always the first of something. However, bright eyes and bushy tails were the mark of a Northern Lyxxus. It didn’t matter how Fyodor felt, he always seemed eager to most other wolves.
The Lyxxus male then turned his dramatically furred ears around. He was keen in his senses. He wobbled a bit as the cry of a falcon carved a kernel of fear in his heart. Fyodor gave a brief sigh as he fell. His four tails wriggled like a nest of furry worms as his small hindleg put him off of his balance yet again. He just let himself sit there. The air was silent. That meant the falcon was successful.
He looked at his small hind leg. The bones were perfect and if he was still six months old or so, he would have been quite the handsome wolf. Fyodor gave a sigh. “I th-think…” He shut his eyes. Why speak? There was no one to hear him.
I sometimes wonder why all this happened to me… Nothing hurts more than going from favorite… to failure… when it is nothing of your doing…
Fyodor shook his head before he awkwardly leaned to the left to stand up. He regained his balance by using his left foreleg to finish hoisting himself up. And then, he looked around himself. His vertical pupils went to slits in the bright light when the sun escaped an autumn cloud. The wind blew his long fur around and made him seem mystic.
But he was just a wolf who had sorry genetics. The Lyxxus male wiped his pink nose before he hobbled on. The tawny grasses underfoot glittered in song—frozen from the cold day and the dew. They tinkled underfoot. The gray sky overhead smiled upon the pathetic creature and the barely-sun shone to give a rare warmth upon the vivid pelt. Everything seemed to play with the orange pelt and every struggled step, simply because of his brightness, seemed like visual music.
I'm not alone. And he wished for companionship while dreading it.

Winter was coming. Though question was why was she even in this dry place. There was no where for her to grow anything. No water. A sigh fell from her lips as she looked down to the almost dry ground, the grass almost starting to dribble up. She stopped in her tracks as she lowered her head to the grass below her, she sniffed the grass before a whimper came to her voice. "Poor poor grass" her lyrics were soft and quiet as she spoke about the grass before lifting her head.
"Winter is upon us, and soon it will be time to take cover with the trees and caves" she thought thoughtfully in her mind.
Green eyes looked out around the grassy lands. "This place, it was once so green, so warm, though now its drying up for the winter." a sigh fell from her lips as she lowered her head slightly again as she took some more steps forward. Her paws dragging through the wimping grass. She lifted her head now higher, as she glanced around the land while her feet moved about through the grass. Wondering whom was out here, if that if there was anyone out here.
A breeze of bitter wind brushed by, sending my fur blowing around. A slight shiver ran down my spine for a second as she tucked my head in from the cold before reaching it back out. Eyes settled upon a nice tree, though its leaves were half gone. A sigh fell from her lips then, before she turned and began to walk another direction.

Loneliness was a worst foe for such a social creature as a wolf. Even the feline like Lyxxus thrives on company. And poor Fyodor was alone in this vast and harsh world. And he was beaten down from how confining his body was. He was a crippled wolf, not from injury. There was no war-story to tell about his left hindleg. There was only a shameful past he dare not speak of. A bad hand that was dealt to him that he never wanted to mention. There was no hope, it seemed. And some days were harder than others.
This was one of those days.
A small rabbit was running through the prairie. Fyodor watched quietly as the creature stopped and started nibbling the grasses. He looked at his small, puppy-foot and then at the rabbit doe, not too far away. He licked his lips and asked himself. Maybe? He hadn’t tried hunting for over a year. He lived as a scavenger for far too long. And then, he took a step. His hobbled stride didn’t stir the rabbit surprisingly and he smiled. Perhaps this was going to be a good day. A gem of a day! A perfect day!
The gray rabbit lifted herself onto her hindlegs and Fyodor froze. He dared not move. His tails were still and in a hunting pose. It revealed that puppy-sized leg fully as all his tails were stretched parallel to the ground. The rabbit lowered her head and continued eating.
I… I can’t believe it! A rare smile brightened up Fyodor’s face and he started picking up speed. The rabbit then flicked her ears and sped off. His mind in the hunt, the Lyxxus could only move faster. Instinct to kill was overtaking him. He forgot his disability as he tore his thin body like a crooked razor through the land. And then. He couldn’t keep upright. His extreme leaning to his good side had him clumsy on a turn and he fell with a loud crash. He was a tangle of tails and legs.
Dammit. Fyodor sobbed before he buried his nose in the dry grasses. “D-d-d-d…” He gave up trying to voice his thoughts. Dammit! And he got up, so frustrated that he could hardly see straight. His ears were pinned back in shame. Tears freefell from his eyes as he saw a stunning autumn flower in the midst of the crunchy grasses.
He hobbled up and went to the flower in defeated steps. And then, a flash of anger shone in his cold eyes. Fyodor ripped the flower apart and the petals scattered across the prairie. His sharp eyes watched and he wiped the tears from his eyes with his forepaws. They narrowed to slits as he stared skyward.
Silently, he cursed his creator.
That flower was so lovely. So perfect… The petals had not even a single insect start to feed upon it. It was as if all things had saved that flower and was expecting it to always stand in the prairie with its beauty. He couldn’t stand it. He used to be that flower. When he was younger. Why did his creator favor that pathetic flower and forced him to suffer? And he sighed. His dramatically tufted ears could hear the winds mourning the flower. But it was probably his imagination.
He eyed his leg again. Fyodor tucked his tail over it, ashamed that such an appendage belonged to him. A sweet, sad melody rang in his head. But he dare not howl it.
Do you remember when you loved me? Before the world took me astray? If you do, then forgive me… And make the world go away.

Again the place, it will look so much beautiful if she took a test at it, then again, she had to let nature take its course. Eyes caught sight of a wolf not far after a rabbit, though slightly frowned as the rabbit got away. My head tilted slightly as she watched this wolf begin to get angry. Hmm? she thought before taking a step forward.
Eyes widen though as i caught sight of the wolf pulling a sweet little flower apart. A gasp came to her lips as she began to run toward the flower. Eyes still wide and upset. "No! don't!"words called out in anger, and worried. I pulled at a fast speed toward the broken plant. How could he! how! A slight tear ran from my eyes before disappearing and pulling to the flower's aid.
"You poor thing, poor thing" words whispered to the dead flower. "What has come to you, nothing" She spoke again before looking up to the creature with angered eyes "What have you done to this plant?! it has done nothing to you! how could you?!" she yelled at him. Hurt and afraid. Looking back down to the flower, she calmed herself before letting her palm pull to the flower, and lay on top. Her eyes closing softly before lifting her paw, and a beautiful new flower appearing to her eyes.
A smile slipped to her lips as she looked down to the healthy plant. Another tear running from her eyes. "There you go, your all better, nothing to worry about, nothing to cry about" she whispered softly and gently to the plant her eyes closing once again.

Fyodor pinned his tufted ears back. His prick ear was neatly boxed, while his floppy ear was merely pushed backward. He lowered his head shamefully and didn’t dare raise his eyes to meet Asoshia’s. “S-s-sorry,” he stuttered out his apology so quietly that he might as well have said nothing. The Lyxxus tried to scoot away in his three legged hobble, but stopped dead in his tracks. He turned around and then saw that Asoshia was doing something that he could only believe was a miracle.
The flower seemed to be coaxed from a state of dreaming. It seemed to come out of nowhere but some magic place and his sharp eyes witnessed every gentle motion as the plant seemed to fall in love with the wolf that summoned its regrowth. It grew in fast forward and flickered to life and its former beauty so quickly that Fyodor was shocked. Magic…
He had only ever been raised by Lyxxus and when he did meet species such as Lupus, they never flaunted their powers, but he knew of their powers. He never knew a wolf that looked quite like Asoshia and thought of her as some odd, indecipherable wolf. He knew all the species. Because he was well-travelled, but didn’t know every nook and cranny of information there was to know. He only knew the basics and some common hybrids such as a Lupus and Keiyou’s mating. But what was this female? He couldn’t put his finger on it, but guessed she was a hybrid as well. Immediately, he was put on edge, not knowing what to expect.
“Wh-wha… H-how d-did you do that?” His soft voice murmured from his maw like a babbling brook, but this time, he said it with enough volume that it was certain that he wanted to be heard. He softly wagged three of his tails. The fourth tail was tightly curled over his puppy-sized paw as he quietly sat in wonder. Fyodor then lowered his ears in memory of the fact that it was his fault the flower had to be reborn.
“C-can you d-do that f-f-f-f-for me?” He shyly braved it. He knew he had to in case this female was able to help him. He didn’t understand her power, but was taking a stab at it. She renewed the broken flower. Couldn’t she renew a misshapen wolf?
He slowly let his fourth tail join the rest in their restless wagging. He pointed out the smaller paw with his nose, his sharp, feline eyes gazed from the small leg to the female. It looked perfect on him and he lifted the miniature leg—the size of a half-year pup’s. “It st-stopped growing…” His pleading eyes looked to her. “Y-you m-make things g-grow.” He bit his lip, so full of hope.

A slight smile can to her as she listened to his words. Sorry. It was okay. At times they needed to be regrown, then at time they didn't. She lifted her eyes as she gave one last happy glance to the flower before looking to the male wolf.
"It's okay dear, the flower did nothing, it can be regrown." Looking back down at the flower, she watched it in silence, happily. She looked up though this his question.
“Wh-wha… H-how d-did you do that?”
A small smile stayed at her lips as she gave a small chuckle. "Dear, i am a Sennyo X Lupus, earth is my element, i am capable of growing plants and trees" she said. Eyes looked toward the wolf. He did not seem normal. Multiple tails, a new species. A nod was given as she took a step away from the plant with a smile before nodding.
She listened gently to his words. Do what for him? my magic? eyes trailed down to his back leg as he revealed it. A small gasp pulling at her breath to his small leg. "You poor thing" she said concernedly. She took a few steps forward, her muzzle reaching out, eyes observing his leg. Pulling her head back she frowned sadly. "I'm sorry dear, though i can not, my powers only work on plants" she sighed softly, wishing she could help him, truly she did.
She looked back to his leg. Her lips still held a sad frown as she looked back up at his face. "I truly wish though i could help though" she spoke concerned. Eyes looking at him before looking back toward the flower. A smile pulling at her lips once again. She reached down her muzzle, picking the flower with her teeth, and gently picking it from the ground, and holding it out to him, and placing it down just before him. "take this, in return of my concerns" she spoke with a smile.

Fyodor gently hid his paw again. He hung his head low when he realized that he had put on a show of his disability, that he had set the stage and paraded his deformity for this Asoshia to see. He didn’t’ like that face and so, between the both of them, nameless, they remained. He could only think that she mentally called him the odd one. The one with a small leg and he could feel her voice carrying those icy words… trickling down his spine, a fire by ice.
She had called herself a Sennyo x Lupus. He had never heard a wolf explain their heritage in that fashion before. Sennyo… ex… Lupus. It was very new to him, as her cross was as well. He had never heard of a Sennyo lying with a Lupus. The Sennyo usually kept to themselves and any hybrids between them seemed rare—at least to the bright Lyxxus.
And then, her jagged ire, it was all he remembered of her. But he chose to silently name her by the odd way she identified herself. Sennyo x Lupus. Mentally, Fyodor called her Miss X.
Miss X. Such a strange name to come to, but it was something to go by. He didn’t want to appear foolish by suffering his stutter all over again. And while he worried about seeming foolish, she started to coo to him as if he were some little puppy. Oh, how he didn’t need to be talked down to! He was a four year old male! He was adult! And then the thought of his puppy-sized leg creeped into his mind again. He was a male who looked pathetically, spoke pathetically, and probably seemed pathetic. It made sense that she treated him like some puppy. He watched with silent vigil, still focused wholly on how she was treating him so condescendingly without realizing it.
But then, she picked up that flower, held gently in her teeth and then placed before him. He looked bewildered. This was the female who scolded him for tearing the flower apart! He looked confused because he wasn’t the cleverest wolf. Finally, it got to him.
“M-miss…” He was about to call her that name he came up with, but stopped, not wanting to seem like a fool. “Wh-why is it alr-right for you t-to do that, b-but not m-me?” He then placed his paw on the flower. Softly he crushed it, but gentle notes of fragrance filled the air. Sweet perfume.

How he hid that leg. He did not so honor to that. Why? A slight sigh fell from her lips before looking to him as he spoke. Why? oh! She lowered her head in misbehavior before raising her head. "I'm sorry for before, i did not mean to yell at you, its just a habit to me to run to a plant's help, though as i saw you back away, i knew you did not mean to hurt it, so i am trying to make you feel better, by giving you the plant" she explained with a smile.
It was true, as her eyes saw him taking the plant apart then take a step back sad, she knew he did not mean to take it apart. Looking at him with a smile before popping up and remembering she did not state her name. "The name is Asoshia Nicko, though you may call me Asos or Asoshia" she introduced.
Bowing her head slightly before raising it back up. "Its okay, you should not hide that leg, not everyone is perfect, such as myself, there are things to me that are not perfect, such as my motherly manner, or my anger" she stated, hoping to cheer him up a bit. She really did want to help him, even more, make a new friend that she might be able to keep a friendship with.
She looked back to his lead, her guilt on yelling at him getting to her mind, she really was sorry for what she did, though repaid back politely with the flower. Flowers always grew back. "I did not take the flower from its root, so it will grow once again once spring is here" she told as she looked up at him with a smile, telling not to worry about the flower to much.

Flowers? In this weather? How Delightful!
A brightly hued ball of fur unfurled from her resting place in the relative safety of an abandoned badger burrow. Glowing purple eyes seemed to float in the shadowy entrance of the dark hole before two petite, light brown paws poked out to pull the small body out. She was a young Lyxxus. Just barely halfway past two years of age. Her fur was brightly colored, like the sunshine that now warmed her small frame. The yellow was dusted with orange and accented with brown on her legs and ear tufts.
Her twin tail flickered and danced as she stretched and sniffed the cool air. She wanted to go find the flowers. She absolutely loved flowers. Her dainty maw split into her practically perpetual smile. She began to prance toward the scent, blissfully unaware of any life aside hers and the flowers she hunted.
She was thin, lean, a runt. She was just barely 12 inches tall, and weighed no more than twenty pounds. She did not let her size deter her though. She would find the flowers...and once she did. She would smell them!
To aid in her hunt, she leaped up onto a felled log, it gave her a better vantage point over the tall grass of the prairie. Her bright face caught sight of a strange pair conversing near the flower scent. One like her, a lyxxus, and another larger one, from a species she didn't recognize, or care enough to try to figure out.

Fyodor shivered where he stood. He didn’t know what to make of this. He just nodded gravely and kept his tail tight against his small leg. “B-but… I’m…” He stopped talking. He stopped trying to be pathetically strong. He just gave up a bit. But then, Asoshia continued. Her motherly tone didn’t seem so demeaning anymore. He felt a warmth underlying candied words and it did make him feel good because he thirsted so much for companionship and for someone’s sympathy—sincere sympathies.
“A-as-so-so-so-shi-shi… A-as-as…” He frowned. “M-mind if I call you Miss?” He lowered his ears and said, “I’m Fyod-d-dor. B-b-but some c-call me Lye.” He stuttered, floundering in his words. He apologized with every inch of his face and tried to explain with his eyes that he was trying his best to speak articulately. And then, he saw something bright in the yellowed grasses.
It was bright like a star. Like the golden sun was hiding in the grass. He tilted his head curiously. His sharp eyes could detect the smallest movements and the midget’s weaving through the amber grains.
He said nothing as he refocused on Asoshia’s explanation of the flowers. He wondered many things, but watched her quietly.
“Wh-what if we had a g-g-guest?” He tilted his head; his intense blue eyes seemed penetrating.

Her ears flickered forth as the voice greeted her. She had not been worried in the slightest about being shy. She was looking for the flowers. Her twin tails flickered out behind her as her joyful smile remained plastered on her elegant little maw. With a trill of happy giggling she leaped down, disappearing into the the tall grass once again.
She moved quickly and quietly around the two conversing. She reappeared near the male as he bright head poked out of the surrounding grass. She giggled once again as she stepped out into full view of the others, walking in a quick circle in place as if preparing to sit.
"Hello! I smelled flowers, even though it is almost winter. How strange is that? Did you smell flowers too? I'm Keely!" She poke very energetically, a common greeting for her. She looked between the two wolves, waiting for a response. She sat her petite form down between the others, the white star-burst on her little chest seemed to blaze in the sunlight like a lily.

Fyodor gave a sigh of relief when he heard that calling her ‘Miss’ was perfectly fine. He leveled his head when he realized that he had kept it tilted for a bit too long. He didn’t enjoy her motherly voice because it made him feel like she thought of him as a small puppy rather than a peer and just gave him the feeling of being talked down to.
It was a bit frustrating because he couldn’t just tell her to stop it and decided it would be easier to just endure being subject to such treatment rather than bringing it to the forefront and making an enemy out of a friendly wolf.
However, the utter joy that Keely displayed put Fyodor into good spirits again. You see, he had begun to sink into a bit of a frustrated state. Her energy attracted him, and he wagged his tails except for the one he kept pinned against his small leg.
Fyodor picked up the flower that Asoshia had given him. And hobbled up to Keely. He offered it to her because it seemed she would enjoy the flower more than he did. Besides, Asoshia had given it to him to do what he pleased? It wasn’t like he was rejecting the gift, though he knew he was risking that it could be taken that way. He was amazed at her tiny size. Her legs were short, but her entire body seemed pup-like, but the proportions gave the clue that she was adult in terms of age.
Fyodor looked to Asoshia, hoping that she would introduce herself as well as himself to the new wolf.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,420,true] | A soft smile was given to the female wolf. Watching as Lye walked over to her and handed her the flower. "Hello Keely, my name Asoshia" she spoke softly. Not in her motherly voice though. To Lye's actions she could tell she gave him a bit of trouble with it, which annoyed her a bit as well. As she has no control over it, its just instincts.
She took a step forward with a smile still. She didn't mind him giving the flower to her, as flowers should always be given around, it just makes people happy. Such as herself. She wasn't going to make anymore flowers though, she had to let mother nature continue on with a smooth running course. She wasn't going to interrupt it.
"Do you enjoy flowers?" Where did that come from?! Asoshia, get a hold of yourself! her mind spoke to her loudly. A sigh slipped from her lips as she just pulled another smile to her lips.

If it were possible for her eyes to shine any brighter, they did when Fyodor offered her the flower. Her bright smile beamed as she graciously took the little plant. "Thank you!" she exclaimed through clenched fangs. Her light colored nose quivered to take in the scent.
He was so nice! Her attention was distracted by the female though, as she introduced herself. She smiled, still holding the flower artfully in her pearly teeth. "Nice to meet you Asssossshhia" Trying to figure out pronunciation whilst holding a flower in her teeth was a little challenging.
Her twin tails wagged happily, she loved meeting new wolves. Even though her kind was usually wary of too many acquaintances outside of family. Her mind momentarily flickered back to her family, she wondered where her six brothers were.
Again, Asoshia's voice brought her back, "Yesh! I love flowers." She looked back at Fyodor, he had yet to introduce himself and she really wanted to know his name. Her purple eyes trace over him, he was cute!
