Was he already flying? He couldn't tell, it was too dark! Voices. Hundreds of voices, claws, scratching, tearing! The agony, tearing into his fur, ripping at his feathers, pulling on his soul. The mark on his chest, spinning, spinning, black into white, white into black, making him dizzy. Voices. "Where's your mama, little boy?" "Where's your mama? You lost your mama, didn't you, little boy, little puppy?" Tears, hot on his face, pain, burning! Was there no escape? He needed help. He needed help! He needed- There, standing off in the distance, a disapproving look on her face, dust on her paws. "Where's your mama, little boy?" she asked. He stretched out a paw for help. She grinned, "I taught you better than this," hissed the wolf. "Where's your mama?" sang the voices, "Where's your mama? Did you lose her, did you lose her?" Reaching out a paw, the darkness dragging him away. He didn't want to go! He was so close! Singing in his ears, scratching at his fur. "Where's your mama? Where's your mama? Where's your-" "MAMA!!!" The cry ripped from his throat. Tearing his eyes open, Tiatsu struggled to his feet, knocking his head against the low ceiling at the back of the cave. The walls seemed too close all of a sudden. Scrambling out of the dark confines of the cave, the young hybrid splashed into the cold ocean waters, shivering as the waves lapped against his chest. It was really to early in the year to be out here, but a strange sense of nostalgia led him back to his birthplace a second time. Lowering his muzzle to the water, he took a few tentative laps then, pulling a face, spat the salty liquid back out. Sighing and raising his blue eyes to the clouded sky, Tiatsu wondered how long it would be until dawn came. He didn't like traveling at night, so he was camping out at the cave he'd been born in, his urge to visit now replaced with a stomach twisting hatred of the place. It brought back memories, happy memories of the time before his mother disappeared. Dust... Mama... Leaving the frigid waters behind, the youngling made his way back to the cave. There were still red stains on the floor, undisturbed for almost two years now. Picking his way around them, Tiatsu could imagine his mother laying there, talking to him and his brother, telling them she'd give them away as soon as she could, or leave them when she knew they were ready. She always told them she had no need for pups, she hadn't wanted them at all, but she loved them all the same. Had she thought he was ready? Was that why he was here, by himself, without his mother? Was that why his brother was gone too? Sighing, Tiatsu lay back down, ears twitching, trying to get back to sleep. However, the nightmare held with him, and he soon leaped back to his paws and left the cave again to sit on the cold beach sands. It couldn't be that much longer until sunrise, could it? Eventually it'd have to brighten up. And when it did, Tiatsu would leave, and he'd continue his search. At the very least, he wanted to know his mother was still okay. She must've been pretty old at this point. He just wanted to know And so he sat, and stared at the sky, and waited.

An ounce of sleep that taunted him as if waving a giant meal above his head just out of reach, leaving him to drool below and starve. But it wasn't because of the haunting realization that he had no true place to call home, no true family or friends, nothing at all. Nothing but the familiarity of the water, the way it always soothes him at the slightest touch. The way it laps up against his scales and fur when hes in shallower waters, the beautiful blue colors of it that cant reflect the sky because their colors are brighter than the skies. A bluer blue then the sky... He was mostly focusing on getting a midnight snack. His hunger was the whole reason he was being kept up. He figured that if he could get something to eat, he would be able to sleep. But his body was so groggy, so he proceeded to bang his read against a boulder a couple of times, which not only rattled his brain, but his eyes too which did the job of making him less tired, but a small trickle of blood came over his muzzle, but he proceeded to wash of the liquid in the river, letting the red drift away like an powerfully blown cloud, it became a red whisp in blue waters until it eventually dissapeared into the night, which wasnt very far in the unprecedented darkness that echoed every sound. The crickets were rather loud tonight, and every swish of his serpent half in the water made a loud reaction, almost as if it was trying to tell Keiaki to stop these shenanigans and get back to sleep. But that was ridiculous. He was starving. So he proceeded to dive into deep water, swerving from side to side with his serpent body to swim, until he came upon a fish. It was fast, but he was faster. He almost had it in his jaws until he suddenly hit sand, and realized he had swum close to shore, and the fish had somehow gotten away from the shore. He came to the surface, frustrated. He calmed himself down and tried several more times, with the same effect. "Dammit! Why can't these stupid fish be caught already?! Every other Cael can do it, but why not me?!"

She finally had killed herself, impaled. And now here she was, haunting her dear old sister Seven. She could hear her now, faintly, at times she could even see her, a faint purpleish black blur on the edge of her vision. But today, there was nothing. Usually, Sev would had taken this clear headed day and gone and spent it on commanding around the Order, but today. No. She wanted to get as far away from that cold hell hole as possible, and thus, she ended up here. In the Yvit Cove lands, wishing she had stayed home instead of tromping off the explore some other packs territory. She was about to turn around when she saw a flash of white and black, sitting down. So, she walked torward it, and seeing that it was a pup, or a young wolf rather. She walked forward, slightly unsure, and asked, "Where is your mother? Where is your pack?" Than unsure, she sat down a few paces from the pup, waiting. Dimly aware of hearing splashing somewhere

He was about to stand when a wolf, a Yagi, from the looks of things. "Where is your mother?" he heard her ask, "Where is your pack?" "My pack..." Tiatsu looked towards where he had heard the voice. He was itching to go investigate, but he first figured he should answer the questions he was being asked, "I don't have one," he said, "I'm a loner." He looked at the Yagi, finally registering her first question. "My mother..?" The dream came back in a flash. "Where is your mama?" hissed the voices, just as real as in his dream. "I-I don't know!" He cried, leaping up from his sitting position, "Why do you wanna know?!" He hated himself for yelling at someone he just met but he couldn't help it. Feeling bad, Tiatsu sat back down. "I'm sorry," he muttered, "I... I really don't know, though..." Again, Tiatsu looked off towards where the voice sounded, "Erm... ya wanna come with me to see who's yelling over there?" He didn't think it would be polite to leave the Yagi behind after yelling at her, so he figured the best thing to to was invite her along.

Were those bastards from the other day right whe they said that I cant do anything for myself? Im sooooo hungry, and theres no WAY I'm going to have someone catch one for me. I can do it myself if I can just keep on trying. Keep on fishing. Never stop getting better. Someday I will be able to catch any fish, no matter the size! So no matter what, I'm NOT going to stop trying, because if I cant hunt for myself, I'm nothing! And I won't let that happen!! So he kept swimming, kept trying. Failure after failure came over and over like deja vu. But then, something happened. He felt like he was swimming much faster, felt much lighter. He caught the fish in his jaws like it had swam to a standstill the whole time. He came back to the surface, gulping the fish down and laughing hysterically. "I finally caught it! I got that stupid fish, hahahahahahaha!" But his cheery feeling didnt last long. Two figures came in the distance, and he had a sick feeling in his stomach that it was the same two from the other day, the ones that had taken his prey and mocked him for not being able to defend the food in the first place, spitting the bones in his face. He looked on and growled. "It's you two again, huh?"

She shrugged at his question, and followed him when he walked out of his hideing place. As they where walking, she couldn't help but admire the veiw that the Cove showed off. The ocean, the towering cliffs, the sandy beach. All things that the Order didn't have. Minus the water of course, the pond in the Taiga was no ocean but it was a nice place to take a dip. Suddenly, she heard a voice, not the wolf pups, but anothers. "It's you two again, huh?" She snorted at this as she got closer. A cael, minus the few that she had seen around, she had never really talked to one, and thus had no idea what this one was talking about. "Us two? Its good that you can count, but you have the wrong two you fishbrain." She laughed. Than walked a few more steps and sat down, wondering how far behind that pup was.

Finally, though, the Yagi stopped. She appeared to be talking with someone, a Cael, by the looks of things. "It's you two again, huh?" he heard the Cael say. Tiatsu sat down and tilted his head to the side. "Us two?" he asked, "I don't think I've ever seen you before..." Tiatsu's tail wagged slightly, lifting up puffs of sand with every sweep, "Was it you who was yelling earlier?" Tiatsu studied the Cael with curiousity. He'd only ever met one other Cael in his life, and she had given him the impression that all Caels were cheerful and friendly. This one, however, seemed grumpy and unpleasant. That was fine. Tiatsu wasn't feeling so friendly himself. If this guy wanted to pick a fight, he'd oblige. But... in the end, he didn't really want to fight. He supposed that was his old self talking, the bouncy little fluffball he'd been not to long ago who wanted to be friends with the world. But then the nightmares started and he woke up to the realization that he was alone in the world and suddenly he was a little more cautious, a little less friendly. Maybe he could reawaken that..? "My name is Tiatsu," he said both to the Yagi and the Cael, "I heard you," this time to the Cael, "or, I think it was you, yelling, so... I figured I'd come look. Were you expecting someone else..?"

He noted the other wolf coming in from behind, in a faster pace then the yagi wolf, and he also saw the ying yang symbol on his chest, and wondered if it meant anything. "Or, I think it was you, yelling, so... I figured I'd come look. Were you expecting someone else..?" "Huh? Oh yeah, sorry about that. There were these jerks the other day who ganged up on me and beat me down to steal my meal. If I had been near water both of them woulda just stayed outta the way... So when I saw two wolfs they came to mind, sorry its just kinda hard to see at night. And you heard yelling? Yeah that was me. Its just these damn fish dont wanna be caught and it shouldnt be so hard but it kinda is. It makes me mad thinking that nobodies probably ever heard of a Cael that cant even freaking fish properly! So uh... What are you guys doin'? Sightseeing?" He sat in anticipation, his serpentine tail swishing against the water along the shore line, trying to determine whether the yagi wolf was like the rumors, cocky and ethnocentric, a word that he barely knew the meaning of and one that rattled his thick head.

Witch she thought rather odd, he was a cael after all, half fish and all that, so why couldn't he catch a fish? She shrugged, than an idea bloomed in her head, she could catch a fish! She smiled at the thought, than stepped forward and into the river. At first she stood there, letting her body get used to the temprature, than bent her head down to lok at the water. There! A fish was lazily floating by, most likely thinking that she was too slow to get him. He was wrong. She slowly moved a paw over him, than, just as the fish was realizeing what was happening, snapped the paw down on it and dug her claws in. When the fish stopped struggleing, she reached down with her head and grabbed the fish with her jaws. Than threw it on land. Seven than turned and walked back up. "There you go! A fish!" She laughed. "And im not sightseeeing with this..Tiatsu. I shouldn't be here at all really." She stuck her head into the air with a queenly manner. "I am Seven, Czarina of the Knights of the Therian Order. Came here to escape the Order for awhile."

"Well, I haven't seen anyone like that recently, so I'm assuming they've already left the area..." he said, "And as for sight-seeing, no, I'm not really. I came back to visit the cave I was born in," he gestured vaguely over his shoulder towards the cave, "But I've decided I don't really like it there. I don't think I'll be coming back here again." Tiatsu's ears twitched at the Yagi- Seven's explanation. He just barely suppressed a growl. Royalty, great, just peachy. He couldn't stand royal types. They were all arrogant, stuck up freaks in his opinion. "Seven?" he muttered, "Like, one, two, three, four, five, six, Seven?" he couldn't help but laugh, "Lemme guess, youngest in the litter? Is the eldest named One?" Tiatsu laughed harder. He cracked himself up. However, he suddenly felt bad about letting his feelings get the best of him. He stopped laughing and put his head between his paws, the white side of his face tinted pink from the deep blush beneath his fur. "Sorry," he mumbled, "Authority makes me act funny..." Lifting his head from his paws, Tiatsu looked at the Cael now. "Erm... what brings you here, then, Mr.... Mr, uh..." Tiatsu paused, "Er.... what's your name..?"

I just travel around here, I dont really have a place to stay or visit that I could ever call a home, but.. I'm used to it. Got over it, just going where the currents take me, you know?" Royalty, huh? She must be really strong to deserve it. Thats why I need to be stronger, so I can be a respected leader of something like she is, but it looks like shes a little too proud of her position. When I'm a leader, I'll be a kind one, one who will do what he can to protect everything precious to him, no matter the cost. I really wish there was a way... But nothing is ever easy in life. Keiaki sighed in his own thoughts, loud enough to be heard by the two strangers.

Which seemed like a pretty good plan to Seven at this point. And so, she turned, faceing a direction away from them. "Nice meeting you. I will take my leave now. When you grow brains please come visit." Than she started walking, away from them. Mind set on finding some place more peacefull and non-pup infested. Note;; Seven has left the building.
