This place was one thing that she just couldn't get adjusted too, no matter how many times she walked up and down the spiraling wood stairs. It was so large, so massive, so.. out of the ordinary. But than again, so where alot of things in this place. Seven sighed, walking forward a few steps through cold snow. Than ducking slightly to get into the hole of the tree. Stepping up the wooden steps, she walked past room after room. Some where empty, others where decorated, a few held the members of her pack. Her room was in the middle, with a red feather pelt of some strange bird hanging in front of the entrance. The pelt she had found in one of the lower rooms, and when none had claimed it, she had taken it and hung it here. She smiled, and looked at the rest of her room. The wall that faced the Taiga had a small slit in it, to see through. Outside it was snowing lightly, but the clouds where dark. More snow to come. A corner of her room was lumped with furs and bits of animals. A rabbit ear. A antler. The furs kept her warm in the Taiga, and where nice to sleep on. The rest of her room was rather plain. A few bones lumped in another corner. A red tree on one wall, painted with berries. A scrap of leather on where her name had been scrawled. Rather horridly actually, it was narrow, with blotches in places. You could barely make out the lettering. She sighed, than turned back around, laying down by the door, she stuck her head out of the flap. Which must have looked quite funny really, but no matter. She liked to watch wolves come and go in the pack, or stare at the whirls in the stairs. Smileing, she set to doing the latter, yet keeping an ear out for anything odd sounding.

He had been following the scent of wolves for almost a year, but had yet to find a pack that suited his preferences. Too many were vicious, or intolerant, or otherwise failed to meet his ideals. Here, though, he had heard different stories. Loners said that the Knights of the Therian Order were good wolves. The ones that lived in the tundra, though, he had heard some nasty rumors about. Better to stick to what seemed safe, and Viyth was happy to latch onto any good news. His instinct to find a pack, to feel companionship again, at last...It was all-consuming for him. With his goal so close, he could think of nothing else. He had to find a pack, and the beautiful forest, with it's almost surreal wintery glow, would do just fine. Pretty as winter was, though, it seemed to get a lot colder here than on the shore. Shelter would be important. Hopefully the Order would have some nice warm dens somewhere.
He was a little worried by the lack of wolves as he made his way through the taiga. As the snow began to seep through his coat, he decided that staying in a den would be a good move. A few more steps through the snow, and he stopped. He had been so eager to find the pack, he had completely forgotten pack etiquette. Having passed the border without permission, he was a trespasser. Whoops, he thought, torn between running back to the border and pretending he hadn't come in, and just howling from where he stood. The snow would make his tracks obvious, he couldn't erase his scent, and he was cold.
"Hello? Anyone?" he called out. In case no one was close enough to hear, he let out a long howl. He prayed that someone would come and give him permission to go somewhere warm, and not kill him for coming in the territory. Viyth did feel a bit guilty, asking some poor wolf to come out in the cold, but it couldn't really be helped.

It didn't sound very loud, but she could still hear it, and it didn't help that she was inside a monster tree. She stood and made her way back down the tree. What wolf would be out during this hour? It was dark, and a storm was brewing. Whoever it was must be pretty desprate. That, or a new wolf/tresspasser. Best to check it out now than, before the storm got worse. Maybe the wolf wanted to join the Order. They needed more members after all. Smileing, Seven ducked through the main entrance, and squinted her eyes through the falling snow.There. A wolf, brown or black colored. She walked forward, prepared to face a loner that wanted to join, or just some lost wolf. As she got closer, she let out a single word. "Hello." She stopped when she was about ten feet from the wolf before talking again. "Who, may I ask, are you?" After all, last she rememberd she didn't have a brown keiyou in her pack that looked quite like this.

He didn't have to wait long before the sound of paws crunching the snow came to his ears. He quickly turned to face the source. It was a Yagi, female by the smell, with a white and green pelt. She looked friendly enough, which was good. Then again, he doubted any lone wolf would be seen as a threat under the circumstances. Dark, cold, and that wind sounded suspiciously like an approaching storm. Only an idiot would want to make trouble instead of finding somewhere sheltered to sleep.
Hello. Who, may I ask, are you? He looked at her a bit askance, not wanting to meet her eyes or otherwise seem too aggressive.
"Um, hello. I'm Viyth. I was looking for someone from the Knights of the Therian Order," he told her. He wondered what her place in the pack was, reasonably sure that she was one of the Order. The scent was there, after all. Was she just a messenger? Perhaps the alpha preferred to send underlings out into the snow rather than get his or her own paws wet. Understandable, certainly, but something about her stance suggested higher rank.

His pale blue eyes widened a bit when she replied. I am Seven, Czarina of the Order. He wasn't totally familiar with the term "Czarina," but it sounded like she was in charge. The alpha. His alpha, perhaps? He was hopeful, and her words were encouraging. I am Seven, Czarina of the Order. And are you looking to join? He nodded immediately at her question.
"Yes, yes, I was," he confirmed, trying not to sound like an overeager pup. His brain was spinning excitedly, not quite sure of how to cope with suddenly having his driving purpose so close. He had spent so long searching for a pack...and here was Seven, fulfilling his dreams. An odd name, Seven. Viyth did wonder at the significance of that particular number. Then again, she was an alpha. Even without being an official pack member or anything, she outranked him. It was an instinctive thing, not questioning superiors. "I'm not a good fighter," he admitted, "but I would serve you in whatever way I could."

Too bad, he would have made a great warrior. One of the others than, that she had thought about. At least he had said that he would serve her. Which she took as that he did indeed fully want to be in a pack. "Well than. You're accepted." She paused. Mentor..or scholar? Mentor would make sence. That way he could work his way up the ladder to scholar. She nodded, mostly to herself. "As mentor. Now. Its getting cold out here. Come with me to the Forsíða Tree." She smiled at him for a moment, than let it drop as she started to walk torward the tree. She had things to do tomorrow. Which mainly focused around seeing if the pack was active. She wanted to get some shut eye and show him the home tree.

He smiled with a youthful delight when she accepted him into her pack. He would be a mentor? He would teach the young ones of the pack! It wasn't the most glorious position, of course, but Viyth was happy. He would be able to avoid a life of violence, and still be productive. Of course, being with other wolves again would be the best gift of all. He bowed his head toward Seven.
"Thank you, ma'am. I will do my best." It was all he could truly promise, and he hoped his best would prove to be good enough. He followed her as she walked to the tree, a little bit confused. Was the tree significant? He assumed so, but he couldn't imagine why. The idea of living inside a single tree never occurred to him. He followed her without question, hoping it would get them out of the cold sooner rather than later.
