Her ears twitched when Swifty spoke, "Whatever. You may not be fighting me afterall." She turned her head away from Swifty, trusting, for a moment that she would not try anything, especially since she had not explained herself yet. "The wind shifted...we are not alone." The older sennyo turned away from the fight toward the strange scent. Her voice was still laced with ice and poison as she spoke, "I know you are there come out." Her wings fluttered a little she did not have the demeanor of agressive, her voice was just unkind.

Swifty looked at her, then nodded at her words and untensed her muscles to walk over by Gypsy. Sniffing the wind herself, she too noticed a new scent and a change in the wind.
"We won't hurt you!" She promised, trying to get the other creature to come out. She didn't exactly know if it was a wolf, but she was almost certain it was. Sitting down now, she curled her tail over her paws and let her icy blue gaze drift over to the spot where the scent was stronger. Flicking her left ear, then Sennyo couldn't help but let a slight grin fall upon her face.
"You expect me to fight this new-comer, don't you? Maybe. That was just a guess." Swifty asked, obviously confused or catching on to whatever Gypsy was planning. Now she uncurled her tail and twitched it back and forth impatiently, obviously too curious for her own good about who this stranger was, and why she was hiding.

Lyta heard them, talking- to her! She straightened and looked up at them, hoping they'd notice her now, and then realised the angle of the ridge and the rock spur hid her from the sight of the two wolves. Oops. Great first impression you'll be making, then, Lyta, she groaned inwardly. "You expect me to fight this new-comer, don't you? Maybe. That was just a guess." The younger Sennyo's voice; confused, curious. Lyta leapt down from rock to rock, padding fowards into full view, and faced them both, only just remembering the obvious- or at least, obvious to wolves that'd spent their lives so far with normal wolves - to lower her eyes and collapse the proud arches of her shoulders and catlike spine. She put her tail somewhere about level to the younger Sennyo's, guessing she was new like her. If that was the case, following her example with the weird etiquette stuff should get her through. She was in full view now. Nervously, she opened her mouth and looked up, looking the older Sennyo, the one tinged with pack scent, in the eyes. "I want to join the Syrrstdar Cadre. I wandered long enough, as in reeeeeeeeeeaaally long enough for any wolf, and I want a pack again, like anyone would, and this seemed like the one that could respect me the most if I respected them, et cetera, et cetera, plus it was the closest and the one where I could use my fighting skill the most, don't have many other skills 'part from that so might be helpful to use it, or at least, not major ones, not except stuff all Lyxxi can do like see in the dark and everything. Anyway, I really wanna join. New start, y'know, all the usual reasons from what I've been hearing...." she realised she was babbling and trailed off, uncertain, then straightened. You're a Guardian, Lyta! You've faced ten times worse than this! Just act like you know what you're doing- these wolves are meant to respect fighting power and dignity and stuff, right? "So, yeah. I have to fight somebody, right?" Lyta's eyes began glimmering with eagerness. She loved to fight- and a Sennyo was never much of a challenge. Either way, she loved wind whistling through claws and stretching muscles and swiping claws- pushing yourself to the limits of everything you could, and finding that, with the help of some challenge, some pride, and some good old adrenaline, you could go further. You hadn't lived until you'd fought in a proper battle. Then again, would this be a proper battle? She'd better not hurt the Sennyo... Breaking off her thoughts, she looked up to see what the two would do. "Oh, yeah, and I'm Lyta, Dau-" she broke off, about to give her full title. Idiot! You don't have one here! You're just some newbie wanting to join! Get all of that out of your head! It won't do you any good. She shook her head slightly, hoping the wolves hadn't noticed. "My name's Lyta. I come from a far away place. I'm just here to join your pack." Now she'd finished, she wasn't sure what to do with herself. She shuffled her paws and checked her tail, flipping it back down from where she'd raised it unconsciously. She was too used to rank, too used to power. She'd have to get used to being low-ranking again. She looked around the canyon and then snapped her gaze back to the other wolf, hoping she hadn't done anything stupid.

That made her a little less useless. Now two pairs of icy orbs watched as the small lyxxus descended the cliff. Gypsy's, colder and harder watched each movement critically.
One ear flickered to the younger sennyo's question, maybe she was not dimwitted either. She just gave a nod of affirmation, keeping her eyes on yet another stranger in the lands. She did not have a chance to speak before the pup started babbling. Gypsy's ears flattened a little and her eyes narrowed slightly. First impressions indeed.
Her small nose lifted in indignation as the lyxxus spoke of traveling longer than a wolf should, like she had any room to talk of time. Gypsy spied her tails, one didn't quite look fully developed this lyxxus was barely an adult. Even Swifty, who was young to Gypsy, was many times the age of the lyxxus.
When she finally had room to speak, her icy tone cut through the air, "You will fight Swifty." Her head nodded to Swifty. Once again, Gypsy failed to give her own name. Neither had earned a right to know it, and the alpha was not around to speak it for the older sennyo.

Lyta snorted inwardly, although not daring to voice her indignation. Her, a Lyxxi, former Guardian and daughter of the Flame Runners- prove herself against a Sennyo? She must be joking. Although admittedly this wolf didn't look the type for jokes. Lyta disliked her already. It didn't take much. She managed to catch Miss Unfriendly- yes, that name would probably stick, as did most of those Lyta gave to people rude enough not to introduce themselves- looking at her tails. She whipped them in frustration. Sennyo! Always judging people by their age. Of all things to judge by. Age didn't guarantee maturity, as the world had shown her very clearly time and time again. If that was true, Sennyo would be superior- and they weren't. Lyta didn't like Sennyo. They were so arrogant, but when it came to fights, complete weaklings. This one thought she was some cub. She'd prove her wrong. One day, she'd outrank her and then... that could wait. Lyta wasn't one for revenge on weaker wolves like Sennyo anyway. She unsheathed her claws and turned to face the younger Sennyo- Swifty, was that her name? She thought so. This fight should be easy enough. Swifty didn't look much of a challenge, all delicate and fluttery. Lyta supposed you could never tell with fights, not until you'd landed the first blow, but then again, this was a pitiful Sennyo. Lyta faced Swifty. These Sennyo probably thought they could beat her, that they were better than her because she was a tiny, young Lyxxi. She'd show them wrong. Lyxxi might be small and mostly younger than Sennyo, but they could fight. Oh yes, they could fight. Especially this Lyxxi. She raised her longer tail to a notch above Swifty's, though still lower than Miss Unfriendly's- despite her misgivings about whether the Sennyo had any right to her arrogance, pack member or not. One day, they'd see, and that was what Lyta already loved about this pack. Nobody ruled unfairly above anybody else. If she could prove that she was brilliant by fighting, then she could gain power and the favour of the alpha. Hopefully, anyway. She bared her teeth. "Shall we start now?" She directed the question at both or either. She didn't care at this point. Revved up to fight, she smiled and lashed the shorter tail, pulling her ears back. This would be the kind of fight she could enjoy at this point. Tired as she was, she didn't feel like an extended fight. A short, quick battle against a weaker Sennyo. Her grin grew wider. Yes, that would be how it would go. Patiently, Lyta waited for the Sennyos' answers.

Swifty nodded. "Okay, and I'm ready." She crouched, snorting in aggravation as the wolf was pathetic enough to try and raise her tail higher than her. What was the use? In a fight, tail length didn't matter, at least not to Swifty. Staring into the Lyxxi's eyes, she knew that this wolf was jusging her. They always judged her. Why wouldn't they? Sennyo's had a bad name, although she didn't know why. Well, this youngster was about to be wrong, and probably not the first time in her short life. Deciding she would make the first move, Swifty swiftly started to jump from side to side, then ran at Lyta quickly and jumped into the air, aiming straight towards her. A smirk quickly grew upon her face as she flicked her tail in mid air, did a barrel roll to the side, and threw herself at Lyta.
She hoped to knock the Lyxxi down using the move she had created on her own. She had used it on her brother, Hawk, when he got a bit our of hand and she killed him, like they were complete strangers. Which it seemed they were, since Hawk went from an overly protective brother to a mad, blood-thirsty Sennyo. Shaking her head, she was still barreling towards Lyta. Icy blue eyes couldn't be seen anymore, as she had shut them so she didn't get dirt, mud, sand, or anything else that would effect her chances of winning in her eyes. This Lyxxi was about to be proven wrong, all with speed and agility that had let the young Sennyo survive for so long.

She could care less what the pup thought of her, she rarely cared what others thought of her. However, she was a bit irked that the fight started with out her setting the ground rules. She cleared her throat as Swifty launched into the attack and raised her voice enough for them both to hear.
"This is a spar, no mortal wounds or debilitating blows. It is only a test of your skills." Her tone suggested that she would stop the fight when she saw fit. Her silky pelt rippled in a cool breeze that moved across the dry canyon. She sat like an ice sculpture, watching with emotionless cold eyes. She did not care who won, but in her opinion, both females needed to be taken down a notch.

Lyta heard Miss Unfriendly talking, but it was somewhere off in another part of her mind. She sank deep into the focus that she'd been taught and beaten and yelled at until she could keep for hours on end. The world receded to a bubble around her and Swifty barrelling towards her. She had time for a small smile before Swifty reached her. A headlong attack, full of momentum. Exactly what Lyta had hoped Swifty would do. And exactly what she'd expected from a Sennyo- or indeed anybody stupid enough not to have worked out or been taught the Guardian techniques of smooth, flowing elegance- to do. Headlong assault. Lots of momentum and power. That was their answer to everything. That was also the very thing that her moves worked best against. As Swifty charged towards her, eyes shut, Lyta was perfectly calm. Then as the black wolf reached her, Lyta stepped aside smoothly in one flowing movement. As the wolf skidded past her, her own momentum inevitably sending her forwards, Lyta whipped around and gave her a kick in the tail end with all her strength. The wolf's own momentum and power was being used against her and added to now, as Lyta gave the kick with perfect calmness, knowing the combined power of Swifty and her would send the Sennyo flying.
(OOC: Hope it isn't powerplaying to say somebody skids past you, if it's obvious they will from their post, where they clearly state they're coming at me at full speed and I've stepped aside? I know from judo experience that that is exactly what happens in real life, and I do consider myself a pretty good judoka, being county squad and everything, and trying out for the England squad in July, though I already train with the English squad judokas in the holidays)

Swifty knew she missed. She didn't care. This Lyxxus was obviously full of herself, and she growled as she was kicked. Hearing the rules, she didn't reply, but nodded. As she was kicked, she didn't go flying, know, she used the kick as a source of power. It gave her speed and she used that speed to spring towards a rock, jump on the side of it, jump off using all her power, and lunge at Lyta, doing her best to prevent harsh injury to the other wolf. She started to spin, but closed her mouth and made sure her claws couldn't come in contact. "Teach you to judge a wolf!" The snarl escaped from Swifty's maw, a strange coldness and harshness had seeped into her voice, and her icy blue eyes went from cheerful to stone.
Would she hit? She was almost sure of it. She would make sure she hit, actually. Criticism is definetly something she hated, and she didn't take it too lightly either. She never judged or criticized others, not on first sight, or second sight, or third for that matter. She judged them once she knew them. Her short fur whipped wildly as wind tore past her as she neared Lyta in her spinning lunge attack. She had made this one herself too. Swifty never ran out of ideas. Well, hardly never anyways. She was bright and intelligent, and she also used this to her advantage. Although she did have her limits, so don't think she's perfect.

(Not sure that what you just did is actually possible... in fact, I'm definite it isn't, but I'll let it go and not start arguments and end up going to mods or whatever it is you do here on Wonderwhy.)
Lyta smiled as Swifty came spinning towards her. She might have some original moves, but it was nothing against her own; trained, repeated thousands of times until they were perfectly natural, unthinking, smooth. Swifty was obviously getting mad. That was good. Anger interfered with a fighter's judgement. It was all working out in Lyta's favour. She waited until the wolf neared her. Timing was everything. Yes, Swifty would hit. Lyta was depending upon it. As Swifty hit her, Lyta turned into the move, spinning and flowing with it, twisting to pull Swifty into the direction she wanted to go, and flipping her over her side. She stepped back as the wolf hit the floor. "That'll teach you Sennyo to judge by age," she replied with icy calm. Then she was back in the fight, no time for casual remarks or arguments. She was going to prove herself and no Sennyo was going to stand in her way!

This is a fantasy roleplay, but physics and range of motion do have root here. This is just a spar, but try to keep things believable for future reference. But the mental show is amusing to watch and I am alright with how things ended here.))
Gypsy watched the short scuffle, she had to stifle a smirk. It was like they were chasing their tails, it had been a long time since she felt the need to chuckle truthfully. She stood up once Swifty hit the ground and walked toward the two with long elegant strides.
She heard the vile banter and rolled her eyes slightly. No one had ever voiced any judgment in the conversation. Both seemed to be jumping to conclusions with no proof. Though Gypsy did judge quite often, but that was not the point, she never said she was judging anyone. Save for this fight.
"Enough. You are both in the pack as Subordinates. " She placed herself between the two females, her white tipped tail floating on another breeze. She wondered briefly where Rhia was, so she could inform the alpha of new members. A spitefire pup and another sennyo. Gypsy still did not like the idea of having another sennyo around, but she really had no say in the matter.

OOC: Oh my gosh, I'm sorry! I didn't even think about if the moves were possible, my bad!
Swifty hit the ground hard, her breath knocked out of her. Standing up and shaking her pelt, and grunted. "Subordinates...Fine. I'm good with that." She accepted her rank with ease, and just shook her pelt once more. Turning towards Lyta, she narrowed her eyes, but smiled. "Good fight. You have potential." She complimented the slightly rude Lyxxus. At least, she was rude in Swifty's eyes. But that was just her opinion. "Well, Gypsy, Lyta, it was..." She sounded a bit hesitant on the next words. "nice meeting you two." She smiled, a bit too fake.
It was true, Swifty didn't exactly enjoy these wolves. Gypsy was alright, better than Lyta anyways. But that was first judgment. She shook her head, silently scolding herself for judging others on sight. She had sworn never to do that, or at least try her best not to, but look at that. She did. Sighing, she sat down, thinking now, not even paying attention to the other wolves.

(OOC: Well, as a judoka in Warriors (warrior cat) RPG, I adapted every throw for quadrupeds... probably didn't explain it well enough which is entirely my own stupidity, but it becomes more like a yoko ukario (Probably spelling wrong, but Japanese Romanji has weird rules) than an ippon seoi nage, which is what I adapted the move from, so the whole spinning-in thing is fine with a wolf so long as they're agile and practised enough to spin round with legs crossing, like an arch on the piano. It would take a lot of practise to do the complicated leg movements in the spinning part, but I'm sure it could be done if you utilised teeth for grip. Ha, ha, I sound like a complete geek. Wait, I am. ) Lyta half-smiled. She would be Subordinate for now, but when tournaments came up, she knew exactly what she'd be fighting for. She had a plan. She wouldn't be stuck as Subordinate for long, if it at went to plan. Then again, the mark of a good plan was that it never went exactly right, as strategists said. Lyta nodded her head slightly to Miss Unfriendly. "Subordinate, then. I can handle that for now." She didn't intend to be threatening with the 'for now', she just blurted it out along with the rest of the sentence. Inwardly, she sighed. Why did all her thoughts come out on her tongue without her even wanting them to? Lyta turned to Swifty and smiled at her compliment. "You too. The spin was a nice touch. If you could manage it from close-up it could be devastating. You just gave me too much time to think." Then she stopped, worrying she sounded like she was trying to be patronising or something. She felt awkward in 'normal' society, unsure what to do and what tones of voice and positions signified what. She'd need to find somebody to teach her. She sighed. Or maybe she could just try making some friends. Dropping her tail again to be about equal with Swifty's now they were both Subordinates, she stepped forwards and tried to look more friendly. Then she remembered Miss Unfriendly and spun round, trying to look at both of them at once. Feeling awkward again, she groaned inwardly. Why was the only thing she could do well fighting? Lyta sat down and looked at Miss Unfriendly. "What do I need to do now?" she wondered. Unfortunately, she was probably a higher rank than her- and that meant she could order her around. What Lyta really wanted to do was meet the alpha and possibly get her orders from him/her, but it'd been a while since Miss Unfriendly howled, and they still weren't here. She decided to just wait to see what Miss Unfriendly would say.

We try to be realistic with our fantasy if that makes sense. The counter spin does make sense, that's all momentum; I meant that attacking by spinning towards an opponent does not seem to justify as a practical attack.
Oh one more thing, but this is just a roleplay thing, Gypsy never gave her name. ^_^ She's kinda a bitch like that.))
Gypsy looked at both combatants as the settled down. "Welcome to the pack." She moved out from between them and walked towards the slope. "The dens are that way, be careful griffins do lurk in this area." She looked to the sky, it was clear. She thought for a while of what else she should tell them about. Her voice never changed.
"If you have any questions.....you can ask me." She seemed reluctant to offer that bit. However the three wolves that out ranked her in this pack had been scarce. As a matter of fact many of the pack members had been scarce. She didn't let it trouble her though. After all...she only cared about herself.
