The black Sennyo grunted a bit as she walked into the unfamiliar territory and as the scent of more wolves invaded her nostrils. It was a lot to take in for a young wolf like Swifty. She continued on her way, searching for another wolf to talk too...Or to join this pack, she had heard that there would be a joining fight held, so technichally, a wolf to fight with. Lightly touching the ground, Swifty journied into the territroy more and more, the smell of wolves growing stronger with each paw-step.
This is it. This was the spot she would sit and wait, Swifty decided this, so she sat on the cold ground and waited. After about twenty minutes, she started to twitch as her patience was quickly ticking away. "C'mon..." She mumbled to herself as she shifted her paws around on the ground. To Swifty's annoyance, the wind tugged at her fur but she ignored it, even though she'd usually snap at the air but that just made her look stupid!

She kept asking herself how she ended up here. It was hot and dry. The river was waning in the heat and the company she kept was....well...subpar. Pack life. Bleh. She hated to admit that it was what she needed right now though. To work on her social skills, to hopefully thaw out her cold heart once again.
The slender, black sennyo moved gracefully over the cracking ground. Her cold blue eyes stared ahead at nothing in particular. Her silken fur moved around her fragile frame with the breeze and her movemtn. Bright, blue morpho butterfly wings fluttered carelessly on her back. Her blue baubled antennae bounced idly above her ears. She was bored again.
Her nose picked up the scent of another. Another new wolf? She was unsure how she felt about the growing pack. If having a pup tag along with her half the time was not bad enough. The older female came around a bend to see....another sennyo.
She stopped, her velvet maw was slightly agape. It had been so long since she had seen another. Over one-hundred years since she had encountered another sennyo face to face. At first she thought she was looking into her refection on the water. The sennyo held the same black fur she did.....however she quickly blinked that thought away. She knew her image like the back of her paw. Her vanity would not allow her to forget her physique.
A female. Her jaw snapped back to place, pursing almost as her eyes narrowed slightly. She came all the way around the bend and stood a few yards from the other female. Her long, feather-like tail floated up into the air to show her rank in this land. Sure it wasn't alpha or beta, but it was higher than that of a loner and she would have it known.
"Who are you....and why are you in this pack land?" Her voice had an icy edge to it, laced with poison. Her last encounter with a sennyo had been devastating and life altering. She would not let her guard down this time, especially to a younger female. A shadowy image flashed in her mind, one she had deeply hidden away. Her lip curled slightly, showing her white teeth to the newcomer.

Black fur swaying in the wind, Swifty craned her head back to see the image of another wolf. No, another Sennyo. One that held the same black fur as she did, one that looked like her, even though it wasn't. She didn't know how to react, but realized that this wolf was older and meant buisiness. She showed submissiveness before the wolf that was clearly apart of th pack here. "I...I am Swifty. I have come to join this pack." Her voice was high-pitched as that of a pups, but it was quick moving too.
This Sennyo didn't seem the kindest, and Swifty hoped that this wasn't the wolf she was going to fight. If it was, it would be a hard battle, perhaps a bloody one. Would the alpha's let a battle get that extreme...Swifty hoped not, she wasn;t in the mood to let blood spill at the moment but waited for the strange wolf, the wolf she would soon know as Gypsy, to reply to her words.

At least she was submitting. That was showing she was not an idiot at least. Gypsy might not be the strongest of wolves, but in the right humor she could send some running.
"What makes you think you are wanted in this pack? What do you have to offer?" She was being unusually harsh today, not that she had the power to reject a potential member, but seeing another of her kind...it rubbed her the wrong way. She did not bother to wait for a response to her venomous questions.
"You will have to fight someone to prove you are....acceptable. Should I summon the alpha to pass judgement?" She gave a cold smirk, she could see Rhia beating the life out of the young...pup. However, she knew that joining fights were rarely bloody.
Her wings stopped fluttering and she held them open so the dark underside was hidden by it's own shadow. She wanted to look bigger than she was, not that it would really help anything here. She was just a spiteful bitch at the moment.

Swifty looked up at Gypsy, a bit of a disgusted look on her face. "Well, thanks for the welcoming." She muttered sarcastically, then ignored her first question. "Yes, I do know I need to fight for approval. Yes, please summon the alpha if you would." She told her, then sat up, still submissively, and looked at Gypsy. She already knew that she didn't like this wolf, but who was she to judge? Being judged herself was something she suffered from so she kept her comments to herself at the moment, which was most-likely a smart move. It still made Swifty a bit mad that this Sennyo thought she could talk to others like that. If she were fighting her, she;d give her a piece of her mind...Too bad that she would probably lose, though.
Swifty snorted in disapproval of this stranger wolf, but just stared at her paws now. She awaited for her to go get the alpha, the alpha to come, assign her a fighting partner, then probably have a very difficult battle.

((I AM SO SORRY!, I didn't even see this response till now and it has been over a month. I'm a bad Cypress....hopefully you are still around and still want to post here....)) [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,500,true] | [atrb=background,http://i50.tinypic.com/34z0jf9.jpg]Her cold eyes fixed on the other female. Yes she judged her. Yes she weighed most by appearance and action. No, she didn't like others very much in general.
Her dark ears flitted when she heard the snort of disapproval. Gypsy wasn't trying to impress anyone, especially females. She looked over the area, trying to quickly judge where the alphas would be at this time of day. After a moment, she titled her small head back and released a cold, yet alluring howl. It was short and too the point.
She looked back over at the female. She didn't ask for a name, mainly because she rarely gave her own. The dry air added a more stiffing feel to the already prickly atmosphere. If this other female was accepted...this sennyo, Gypsy was unsure how she would adjust.

((That is fine! It took me a long time to reply too, mainly because I've been a bit more inactive, due to computer problems and other issues! But I'm still here!))
Swifty watched as the other Sennyo let out a short howl, then stopped abruptly. Usually, whenever she howled, she'd let it last for a few moments before it deceased. Swishing her tail in the dirt, an awkward silence followed everything, and Swifty hated it. It was a bit tenseful, for no reason, other than the fact that this wolf, Gypsy, disliked her very much. Swifty only hoped she wouldn't have to fight her in the joining fight...That'd be torture. This wolf was obviously bigger and stronger than her, but was she faster than her? Maybe so, maybe not. Swifty will find out soon enough.
((Sorry for the short post, my muse ran away from me! D:))

She hated how similar they looked. Swifty was a few inches taller, but they had the same weight. Swifty was marred with white blotches here and there, that made Gypsy keep her air of vanity enough. Her pelt was all black save for her tail tip. She had nothing to say, she didn't care where this one came from, where she had been.
She did however, not want to be standing in the heat all day waiting on Rhia or Forte to show up.She hated to admit it, but she knew that the alphas would accept this female....so why wait around? If they wanted a fight, Gypsy would being them the combatants.
"Come with me." Her icy voice took a commanding, hollow tone. "I don't want to wait all day for them, so I will take you to them." She didn't want to have to explain herself, but the fidgeting newcomer seemed to be uncomfortable with not knowing what was going on. Maybe there was a shred of compassion in the cold-hearted female after all.

Swifty listened to her words, and nodded, eager to get out of the uncomfortable heat. She stood up, and followed after Gypsy quickly, glad to not have to wait anymore. Maybe she did have a good side after all! Swifty thought of this, then shook her head. "As if!" She said aloud on accident, then bit her tongue hoping that Gypsy didn't hear or wouldn't pay any attention to it. She laid her ears flat against her head, in case Hypsy decided to snap at her or something, which she didn't want. Sure, Swifty wasn't that big a fan of Gypsy, but she did have to admit that she looked stronger than herself.

She turned around, cold eyes fixing on the female. "Do you have something to say?" She had a glint in her eye. Maybe they could have the fight now, with out the alphas. They had been scarce anyway.
"Look. You want to join fine, I don't care. You need to fight to get in. Odds are you will be put up against me anyway. Want to get it over with?" She was annoyed, that was for certain. However the sooner she got rid of the kid the better. She wanted to go back to her solitude.

Refusing to flinch, she listened to her words. "No, I haven't anything to say. And that, my some-what of a friend, is a great idea." She said, considering Gypsy as some-what of a friend since she was dealable, and the only wolf she has met so far, so why not? "Anyways, if we fight, I presume it will be here?" She enjoyed using her large vocabulary, whether it was to show-off or just for the heck of it! Her icy blue eyes were burning with confidence, and she was itching to fight this she-wolf. All the Sennyo needed to do was prove herself, and that was it, although she felt she especially needed to prove herself to the Sennyo that looks like her in many ways. She felt bad about herself unless she blew everyone's minds, and this was just a sad fact about her.

(OOC: Can I hop in? 'Cause it said on the thingymajig that they'd rather you hopped in somebody else's joining fight than started your own, and everything, and I feel a bit nervous about starting my own joining fight... hate being new in places, hate being uncertain about what to do, but I guess that's the way it is. And I guess I'm Syrrstdar Cadre, even though nobody replied to my joining post on the OOC joining thread, but hey, my profile says Syrrstdar! Not that I have any idea what Associate is, and it's not listed in the pack info thread... but yeah. So, can my wolf Lyta hop in and say hi?)

((Yes Lyta, you can jump in [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,500,true] | [atrb=background,http://i50.tinypic.com/34z0jf9.jpg]Gypst made sure to completely face her younger counterpart. It bothered her how similar they looked. A passerby might consider them sisters. Gypsy's lip curled at the thought.
"Do not call me friend. You are only a pack mate at this point in time." She knew that the wolf had basically been accepted, Rhia rarely turned anyone down. The fight was just a formality. Friendship had to be earned, as did trust and rank. Call her old-fashioned, but that was just her way of thinking.
She could see this fight being mainly posturing and agility, the likelihood of any blows connecting, let alone injuries sustained, was slim. Even though she wanted to hurt her at the moment. She had never realized how hostile she had become to her own breed. Maybe because the last one she was with made her what she was today. Bitter, cold, and vain.

Swifty faced Gypsy, and stood still, feeling as if all eyes were on them even though they were the only wolves there. Listening to Gypsy's words, she flicked her ear. "Very well then, pack mate." Was all she said before tensing up her muscles. Depending on her speed, agility, and fangs, the Sennyo eyed the pack wolf that looked so much like her, and she almost suppressed a laugh. Not a funny laugh, but how coincidental it had been to find this wolf, and how even more coincidental it had been to have to fight her even though she hadn't wanted to. Finally, the black-furred femme dipped her head. "Well, may the better wolf win." She spoke softly, almost to herself, but she meant for Gypsy to hear it also. She knew that nobody exactly had to win. She also knew that nobody had to lose. But it was pure competitiveness that drove her to say that, even though she doubted that she'd win herself. Who would make the first move? Were the same thoughts racing through Gypsy's head? What would be the battle's outcome?
Shaking her head free of the thoughts that started to make an aching feeling in her skull, she stopped thinking altogether. Now, she waited, a bit impatiently. Her tail twitched, then her paws, then her ears, and then it started all over again. "What is with me today!?" Swifty thought, making sure to pay enough attention in case her opponent decided to make the first move. The Sennyo just couldn't stand it any longer, and she had to move around, but she didn't know how the fight went and what the rules were. What if Gypsy was supposed to attack first? Muscles still tensed, she never let her icy gaze slip from where it had been locked onto. Onto Gypsy.

(OOC: OK, thanks! This is my first IC post on Wonderwhy, and I'm still a bit new and fresh from Stars RP, so bear with me if I do something terribly wrong, please!)
Lyta padded over the rocky terrain of the canyon, eyes searching for the wolves. She knew they were here somewhere, two Sennyo, one scent carrying the smells of the pack, the other less so. A new wolf to the pack, then. Like herself. Whoever they were, they were close. Lyta lifted her head. The scents carried faint anger. They didn't like each other, clearly. She titled her head- didn't wolves in packs here get along? Almost turning back as memories flashed through her, she forced herself to keep padding. It will be better here. This is the Syrrstdar Cadre, not the Guardians. Nobody's gonna try and kill you now. You're safe. Joining a new pack. New start. Don't rush it. She slowed her breathing, noticing suddenly how fast it was and how tense. She hadn't realised how scared she was. New place, new people. But it had to be different. Not all wolves could be dark-hearted. There had to be some... well, there used to be some she even knew. But then tears threatened to swell up under her eyelids and she forced back those thoughts. New pack. New start. The thought kept her walking towards the scents. New life. No more of any of that... stuff. Besides, she wouldn't be able to allow herself it even if she wanted to. No pack would accept her with a head full of Guardians and Runners. Everything was different. She would have to be too. She finally found the source of the scent. She padded over a ridge and there they were; two black Sennyo, eyeing each other like they were in the middle of some fight. At first she imagined them to be sisters, they were so alike, but then she remembered the hostility, the different scents. Not a chance. Hoping they didn't notice her, Lyta sat down and hurriedly began to try and remember everything other 'normal' wolves had ever taught her about the etiquette. She pulled her ears down and looked down at her paws in what she hoped was a submissive gesture- although it felt just plain ridiculous- curling her tail around her shoulders. Then she waited and watched, not knowing whether it was really allowed to interrupt a fight or anything. Never mind. She would learn, and hopefully rise through the ranks as quickly as she could manage. She'd heard of this place and hoped it was somewhere she could belong- or come to, over time. Syrrstdar Cadre. It sounded strange in her mind, and she almost tested it out on her tongue, but then remembered the other wolves. What would they do?
(OOC: Hope that was okay and not too terrible and didn't break any rules I may have missed in all your guidelines and rules and things?)
