Ok so I am going to create a Platypus-Myou this evening and I need a table/image/siggy for her. Her name will be Oteka, and as with platypus most of her coloring should be shades of brown with a soft yellow or cream on the underbelly. She will need a bill, webbed toes and the beaver-like tail. The quotes I like are:

Colors that would be good would be like lake and marsh colors, dark greens, blues and browns.....Ok I gave you the name, quotes, color preferences...type of wolf...I will be around if you need other information..

Do you know how IMPOSSIBLE it is to find decent platypus stock?

Wolves, they're easy. Everybody does wolf manips. Wolf stock is EVERYWHERE.

Platypus? Half the population has no clue what a platypus even IS. I searched on DeviantArt and there was 3 stocks I could've used. One was so blurred you couldn't see a thing and the other said no off-site use without permission. The last one, the one I ended up using, was at the wrong angle. So really I just had basic fur/bill textures to work with and smudged, free-transformed and rotated them like crazy until I could get the tail and bill looking vaguely tail-and-bill-like at the right angle.
Sorry, but I wasn't going through that again with the single webbed foot visible in the platypus stock photo I used.
So I was a little stuck. But anyway, with apologies for the rubbishy platypus bits (this is REALLY not my best manip), here's da picture....

*Snickering* I am quite aware of the difficulty of the task I almost went crazy yesterday. While I think they are cute I am going to give you the two example I tried yesterday and see if you like either of them better, or feel like tinkering with ??
