Satisfied, and rather relieved that he would not need to fight in this mess. If anything the situation was rather perfect, he was surrounded by members of the Children. It was bemusing, and quite odd how they had all ended up in the same area, but Con figured this was probably a good moment to do some pack bonding and get to know his fellow comrades. The hole was slightly too small for his frame, but with some effort he managed to squeeze his large mass through, trying to make himself smaller as to not take up the other wolves' room. He was entirely dry, but it was nice not to have to use up any more of his energy to remain untouched by the rain. In as friendly voice as he could muster Con said, "Nice to meet you both, I hope I didn't alarm you. What a miserable time to be out." He caught sight of Misty's wing and cringed inwardly, such an injury must be painful. "Are you ok Misty? We'll have to wait this storm out, but once it calms down we'll get that wing some help. Try not to move it around too much." His eyes were kind as he was too familiar with the sensation of being burnt, a favorite torture practice by the clan whom had captured him and took pleasure in seeing him in pain.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,422,true] | [bg=FFFFFF] Satisfied with having eaten her annoying prey, Som licked her chops and yawned, stretching out a little more. The bump on her head was finally returning to a manageable size, and she could move without having to wince. However, she was not about to admit that it had hurt and so she replied Kas with a dismissive voice, "Oh it's nothing, just a little tap on the ol' skull. Might mean that my three brain cells are now reduced to two, but I'm sure I'll manage." Lighting flashed again, but it appeared that it was farther in the distance, the thunder lessening considerably.
I wonder how Con is doing, she thought to herself. Evidently the older wolf had a lot of confidence in his abilities, and she wondered what his story was. Perhaps once the storm cleared up Kas, Con and her could meet up. Who knew, maybe there were other members in the area interesting in holding a small meeting. It seemed that perhaps sharing their stories might strengthen the pack bonding.
In any case, it was high time that she got to meet everyone so that she could recognize members when on patrol, it served little good to be a Guardian but have no idea of whom to protect. Turning to Kas she proposed, "Say Kas, what do you think about meeting up with Con, myself and maybe even other Children after this? I don't know about you, but I'd like to get to know some more faces. Who knows, there might even be some guys too?" The last thought cause Som to grin, it was high time to find some male interests.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,500,true] | [atrb=background,http://i.imm.io/5klG.jpeg]Kasmira chuckled at Somatra's witty joke, and listened attentively to her suggestion. Stretching as much she could, she absentmindedly, using her earth abilities, made a few yellow wildflowers grow at the edge of their hideout, where the moist earth met rock. It was a habit, although not necessarily bad, that she had developed over the years. She chuckled slightly to herself, thinking: Well, if anyone wants to find me, they just have to follow the flowers!
Pulled out of her daydreaming, the young wolf turned her focus on Somatra and replied: "I think that'd be a great idea for a meeting of the Children, although we could invite the others too, if they're open to it." Kas truly liked the idea, since she was always up for conversation. Being a storyteller, she sometimes adapted other wolves pasts, taking out the more violent or sad parts and turning a history into a legend or myth. Of course, she always changed the names too.
Kasmira pondered Som's suggestion for guys too, and she wondered about her feelings towards that for a moment: She wasn't old, but not very young, either. She had never been in a relationship as such before, since her pack was killed off before she ever had the chance to do much socializing with the younger guys.
She smiled at Som:"Well, I'd be open to some guys too. Maybe it's time for me to settle down..." However, this thought saddened her for a moment, and she figured she'd always be a bit of a wanderer, in a relationship or not. "How about you? Are you a wandering soul like me, or simply restless?" she asked in turn.
The thunder and lightning were growing more silent and further away, but the rain kept a steady beat. We might be a while, Kas thought, so I might as well get to know Som better.

Mistylight shifted over to give Con some room, careful not to hit her wing on the sides of the cave. Her eyes widened when she felt Cons fur, it was remarkably dry. She looked to him as he spoke to her. "I'm fine, really" she lied, her wing was throbbing and every bone hurt from her fall. She didn't like to admit to things and she didnt want to seem weak. She looked outside, "I think the rain is starting to stop", she listened for thunder and looked for more lightning but could find none.
She stood up stifly, eager to get out of this small confined space, she could get very claustrophobic. The rain had almost stopped at this point and she walked outside. She didnt care if she was getting wet again, even though she hated water, she also hated small spaces. She stretched her good wing out leaving the other hang limply at her side. She looked behind her "You guys coming?" she asked in a playful tone. She noticed the sky brighten and looked up to see the clouds clearing revealing the bright yellow sun and blue sky. She smiled wishing she could take off and fly, but her wing was to injured to fly. Her smile disappeared to be replaced with a frown, she hoped she would be healed soon.

It wasn't much, but it kept them dry. She watched as Mistylight replied to his queries, and the Lyxxus Guardian knew she was lying. She could clearly see the pain on her face and she knew she was hurting from that fall. No one would be fine after a fall like that. The Keiyou soon changed to subject and began to crawl outside, teasing them with a few choice words.
Moonrose rolled her eyes and went out after her, stretching her body as well. The sky brightened and she smiled. "How beautiful... Thunderstorms are messy, but what comes after is always a rainbow." She trotted out from the shade of the tree and into the open. Though there were a few raindrops still falling, they were minimal and the clouds were steadily moving away. Her sapphire eyes scanned the sky.
"Look!" She said, lifting and pointing with her small paw. "A rainbow..." There it was, hanging in the aftermath of the storm. It glittered brightly, shining its many colors onto the refreshed land. "There is always a rainbow after the storm." Moonrose sat down, enjoying the sight.

OOC: This might be out in left field, but would anyone be opposed to me inviting Reynard to join? Coneiron watched the other two leave, glad that he would not have to spend too much time scrunched up as he was beginning to have some leg cramps. True to Moonrose's word there was a rainbow adorning the clearing sky. Nature could be such an unpredictable force, constantly evolving from one condition to another. He was concerned about Misty's wing, pretending to not be in pain was no way to solve the issue, and the injury would have to be addressed as soon as possible to prevent long lasting effects. Perhaps Reynard knew if there was a healer willing to help the injured wolf. Thinking back on the two wolves he had last seen heading to safety Con asked out loud,"I wonder how Kas and Som are doing? We should go and look for them just to make sure all is well." Turning to Misty he proposed in a firm voice, "We should find Reynard and see if he knows of any healers, your wing needs to be looked after. Moonrose, do you think you could help support Misty's wing? I may need to go and find Reynard but I want to make sure she has someone to depend on as she won't be able to defend herself very well in that state." He turned to stare into the distance, trying to catch sight of the blue and purple wolf he had left. Con let out a deep howl into the air, "Som and Kas, if you are near by answer, I need to know if you are alright!!!" He hoped they would hear the howl and follow the sound.

Really, he was growing tired of the spring showers that loved to creep up and attack unsuspecting wolves. He had managed to get into some brush once it started, now he was regretting it as heavy wet leave spilled water on him and green briar thorns clung to his pelt, as if shacking him to the ground.
The High Chief manged to crawl out into the damp valley and shake off his pelt to clear himself of debris. He looked to the sky, at least there was a rainbow this time. That made him feel a little better. He began walking into the open grass, opening his wings to let them dry in the cool air. He was debating taking off when he heard a howl. His black ears flickered toward the sound. It sounded like Conerion, but it was not within the territory. He was calling for Somatra and Kasmira? That was strange. He shook out his pelt once more before taking to the air. Why were so many of his pack congregating outside the packlands? It was something he felt needed to be addressed. There was a deep nagging fear of being turned against. Was he not being a good enough leader? He growled to himself.
His dark wings carried him toward what he assumed was the origins of the howl. He circled low, searching, scenting. Soon he saw the bluish form of Conerian. He landed a few yards off and began walking towards them. They seemed to be worried about something. As far as Reyanrd knew, this part of the land was not claimed by anyone. Perhaps there were intruders nearby? He pushed all his worrying to the back of his mind and spoke as he came within earshot, "Conerion? What are you doing out here?"

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,422,true] | [bg=FFFFFF] From in their hideout Som heard Con's howl, calling for them to answer. Slightly concerned that something may have happened, she emerged into the open, a bright rainbow awaiting to greet her. The air was clear, and smelt like fresh rain and sweet spring flowers, an rather delicious smell.
Tilting her nose into the air she let out a howl of her own, the haunting sound echoing along the fading breeze, "We're fine Con and heading your way!" With that said she turned to Kas and suggested, "Perhaps we had best head over, he many need help if there are other wolves in the area." With a glance over her shoulder to check to see if Kas was following she wiped ahead, flowing with the breeze. Following the distant scent of other wolves she quickly came upon the others. She recognized Coneiron and Reynard, but the other two were strangers. Had Reynard been with them during the storm?
She slowed down to a trot and sat down beside Reynard, happy to see the Alpha. Tail wagging she said animatedly, "Hello Reynard, how are you on this temperamental day?Did you get caught out in this storm too?" Suddenly she noticed the wolf with an injured wing, and concern marred her face, "Are you ok? That looks quite painful... I am Somatra by the way, a pack member with the Children of Hvitur Ari." She smiled, happy to be part of a pack that was so accepting, knowing that she could depend on them as they could depend on her.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,500,true] | [atrb=background,http://i.imm.io/5klG.jpeg]Kasmira listened to Coneiron's distant howl, and quickly followed Somatra out into the open: The sun was shining, a beautiful rainbow gracing the blue sky, the storm a now distant memory. The young wolf smiled, showing her gleaming teeth, and marveled for a moment at the rainbow's beauty. Suddenly she realized Som was on the move, and quickly caught up, following her scent.
She arrived in time to catch Somatra talking to Reynard, and she also noticed Con with two other wolves. Wow, she thought, a lot of wolves have been caught in that sudden storm! She smiled and sat down beside Somatra, her tail wagging in welcome. "Hello everyone! It would seem that this storm has at least brought all of us together, besides getting everyone wet..." she trailed off, shaking off her fur, even if it was only a little damp.
She noticed the wolf with the injured wing, and hoped she was alright: If it was broken, she wondered if there were ways of mending it... Personally, she didn't know, although maybe it was possible. Since Som had already addressed that question, she simply added to her previous welcome: "To those who don't know me, my name is Kasmira." She then remained silent, wondering what was to happen next, and who the other two wolves were: New friends, hopefully.
