She sat down for a moment of rest atop a small hill, the sun's orange and yellow glow reflected of her white fur, her yellow eyes mirroring the ball of fire. She had just woken up an hour or so ago, preferring to sleep most of the day and prowl about at night, not being much of a talkative wolf.
The tall Lupuse raised her head to gaze at the sky, noticing the dark blue creeping up in the distance: Night was coming, and with it she would imagine stories and legends: The only time when she let her imagination wander was when she was utterly, and completely, alone. Her parents had taught her that, to always be alert and aware, prepared to fight or flight. She gave a small growl: Those days were over, and she was a sage now.
She had all the right in the world to imagine and dream, and if she wanted to, she would. The blanket of night unfurled itself, a full moon high in the sky, stars spattered everywhere. Fireflies flitted back and forth, and she let herself soak up the quiet for a moment. However, no inspiration came: She had no ideas for a new story, and the night was her best time to think. She frowned: What was she going to do now?

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,500,true] | [atrb=background,http://i.imm.io/5klG.jpeg] Kasmira had watched the sunset from the prairie, enjoying the brilliant display of colors. But now it was over, and night had taken over the sky, as a warm breeze ruffled her bright purple fur. She stood up from where she was previously lying, and shook herself clean of any wildflowers or grass. She wasn't a night owl, enjoying the day just as much, most likely more, but still enjoyed the almost magical feel to a starry sky and full moon.
She noticed another white wolf, Lupuse by the looks of it, sitting atop a small hill. She was facing her, but she seemed preoccupied with something else. Kasmira grinned and wagged her tail, deciding to pay whoever it was a visit: Maybe they'd be up for some conversation. She trotted up the hill, her ears forward, tail wagging and her bright green eyes alight with curiosity. "Hello, traveler! This is a wonderful night to be out."
She waited a beat, then added: "My name is Kasmira, a storyteller for The Children of Hvitur Ari. Although most call me Kas. What are you doing on such a magical night? " she asked her companion, eager for conversation.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,465,true] | [bg=ffff00] Faye glanced at the new wolf, Kasmira, and wondered how someone could be so incredibly... Happy. Being a rather pessimistic wolf herself, Faye simply answered: "Faye, and I'm a Sage for the Philia Alliance. I'm actually out hunting." She wasn't really interested in conversation right now, even if Kasmira, or Kas, seemed friendly enough: This was actually the sort of situation she usually avoided during the daytime.
However, she realized she didn't really look like she was out hunting, and hastened to add: "But I'm taking a small break." She didn't need anyone to know she was actually just trying to think, to clear her head, to imagine a new story or myth. Faye had learned in life that some wolves didn't seem to take dreamers or storytellers seriously, perceiving them as the weaker members of a pack. Well, Faye proudly thought to herself, I'm definitely not! But surely this Kasmira would understand, being a storyteller herself?
Faye sighed, wishing conversations didn't have to be so darned complicated. "Actually, you could say I'm taking some time to think... Of some more stories, yet no inspiration has come tonight." Since she really didn't have anything else to do, she decided that practicing her social skills was a good option. "And what brings you to the prairie tonight, Kas?"she asked her nighttime companion.
