[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,500,true] | [atrb=background,http://i.imm.io/62ae.jpeg]Ahote waited for Lyra to back up and follow him down and out of the direct sunlight, he dipped his head as they began the slow and careful descent down the well worn path into the underground. They passed the place where most of the pack members made their dens to sleep in, and for a short moment he almost wanted to stop and curl up himself. It would seem the reflections of the beautiful gems sang many members to sleep and offered comfort in a place where all you wanted was to rest.
However the idea of traveling to the spring with Lyta was more appealing, he turned her head to the side to make sure she was still close and headed on toward the spring. As they got closer the sound of running water was apparent and they came upon the waterfall. At first it would be enough to take your breath away, Ahote found the landscape of his pack beautiful.
Of course any landscape can be dangerous, the cold of the north provided many obstacles for any wolf trying to survive, just as the deserts did providing little water and food. The Cadre was no different, the high cliffs and predators with little places to hide could make life harder than some may previously thought. He stopped for a long moment and turned back to Lyra, “Isn’t this a wonderful sight? I consider myself lucky to be so close to such a beautiful place..”
As they stood there watching the water come down from the very top of the cliffs the roaring sound calmed as the water went down into the stream into the cavern below. His head turned to Lyra, “Did you want to go down to the cavern? Or stay watching the water?” Either place was fine with him seeing as he could step into the water at either place and rinse off the dust and grime he had incurred while being on the top of the canyon.
He wondered what had brought Lyra here, Yagi were strong enough to withstand much more cold terrain, their large bodies able to deal more adequately with cold than warm and heat. So far he had seen three in this pack, and so he had to wonder, in their travels what had made them all stop here? Was it landscape? The pack? He patiently stood beside her awaiting her answer as his eyes roved over the waters and the other members milling around them. It would not be surprising to see the bulk of the members here, either sleeping restfully or making their way to other parts of the territory accessible by the paths of rock….

[/b][/color] "Wherever you would like, it doesn't matter to me." It looked like there was a question on his mind but if it was important he would ask in good time and she would wait until then. But for now she could feel the heat on her fur and her tongue lolled out of her mouth. She looked to Ahote then to the water. She walked towards the edge and stuck her paw in the icy water. The rest of her body followed, she was a powerful swimmer and the cold water felt good on her fur she dipped her head in to clean her antlers. It was quite a site for all you could see were the tips of the antlers but no body just floating on the surface of the water. She threw her head out of the water, droplets flying off the tips of her towering antlers. [/color][/size][/ul][/scrolly][/td][td] [/td][/tr][/table][/center]

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,500,true] | [atrb=background,http://i.imm.io/62ae.jpeg]It was good to know she still felt the same feeling of wonderment that he did when it came to looking at the large amounts of water free falling through the canyon. The roaring sound of water made talking nearly impossible unless you were close to the other being. He nodded to her and decided that since the smell of the alpha and alphess permeated through the deeper cavern it would be safer to just stay up here.
It was apparent that Lyra was more comfortable here too as she entered into the water without even the slightest hesitation. From the time she entered the water until she disappeared beneath the water only leaving her horns visible he watched her. Even as yagi they definitely had their differences, and he was aware of that but the differences did not make her unattractive, and his eyes let her know exactly what he though of her.
Shrugging his massive shoulders he decided he could do with at least a rinse to keep him clean and looking oh so manly and good. Stepping into the water the cool, near icy temperatures of the water washing over his body and immediately cooling his body temperature, perhaps even too quickly. His head swam for a moment and he became dizzy before he pushed himself into deeper water, allowing his pelt and body to get used to the water. He was then sprayed by the water Lyta had thrown off her horns and spluttered in the water…
“Well if I need assistance getting clean I know exactly who to call from now on,” He said with a smile. For once Ahote seemed utterly calm with his surroundings, and those around him. The pack he had joined had welcomed him, he had his fair share of females to flirt with, ranks to obtain and duties to pursue. He was not a loner anymore, spending most of his time grieving over the past and what could have been. He paddled around in the water and then turned back to her, “So what are your plans for the Spring Tournament Lyra?”
Not only did he have a simple curiosity but it was always good to know what others had planned in their mind. He had his own strategies for the tournament and had already announced his intentions. He particularly had his eye on Dagyr since he had also challenged for the same position. Perhaps he would seek him out after he spent time with Lyra…
Oh the thoughts of an overly ambitious yagi..

[/b][/color] With that she threw her head in the water and carried water on her antlers and throwing it at Ahote, laughing as she went. She shoved him with her paw and quickly swam away, it was like a game of water tag. She swam to the edge and kicked off picking up her speed. Lyra stopped abruptly as one of her claws hit something soft at the bottom of the pool, her head tilted in question what could it be surely no creatures lived here she was told so. She was about to get out of the water when she felt something grab her ankle. She gave a yelp of alarm as she was dragged under. She thrashed to get out of the sharp grip something had on her. She tried to get a good look but could see nothing in the waters depths. Her lungs screamed for air and she kicked desperately to reach the surface. Her eyes were filled with determination but her strength was weakening as she couldnt catch a breath. She saw a tail and then a large red body with gaping jaws. Her eyes widened in fear but she could see it clearly enough and it was close enough to get a good shot. She bent her head down and stabbed the creature with her antlers it letting go of her confused for moments. This was her chance she paddled to the surface and broke the water gulping air frantically and then searching the water from the surface for the creature, the water was turning red with the blood pouring from her ankle and the current was powerful and if she didnt get out soon she would be swept away with the creature. She saw a flash of red and jabbed her antlers into the water but catching nothing, then a sharp pain on her left flank told her of the creatures whereabouts. This time she had an amzaingly clear shot she bent her head and bit into the creatures side aswell as digging her horns into its side. She tore it from her side it was amazingly heavy and threw it back in the water but her breath was slowing due to lack of energy and she couldnt keep paddling. And thats all it took she stopped paddling and let the current sweep her down the river she was to tired to continue and the blood rushing from her flank was enormous, staining the clear waters. She looked up to see the creature one last time and with her last ounce of strength she tilted her head and peirced the creature through its head killing it. Her eyes were dimmed and she tried to reach the edge of the water, she was so close when one of her claws hooked the flesh of the serpent, hence dragging her away with another weak yelp. [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,500,true] | [atrb=background,http://i.imm.io/62ae.jpeg]He nodded to her short explanation of what she expected to go for during the tournament. He did not blame her for being vague, but he found it odd. They weren’t going for the same position by any means but he was glad she was ambitious enough to try for a rank as high as beta female. He knew it might not turn out so well if only because she outweighed Gypsy by many pounds and Gypsy and Rhia were really rather close. His honest thoughts were she should challenge for gamma and take out that little annoying snerk Lyta. But that was just his opinion. In any case he smiled and said, “I know you are talented enough to get whatever rank you set your eyes on Lyra, you have many strengths.” It never hurt to be supportive.
Before he could say much more they were engaged in a water fight and for once Ahote let his naturally stoic reserve falter. He splashed her with a paw as well as he had water dumped on him and quickly tried to get through the water as she padded away. He had to admit the she-wolf was fast in the water and he was definitely slower, carrying around his bulk, no matter how light the water made it seem. He yipped lowly and paddled while splashing up water here and there with his paw to smack at her. He watched as she quickly stopped her movement and the mood of playfulness died.
His eyes widened in shock as she was pulled under by..something unknown to either one of them. He paddled around and searched for her, calling her name..”Lyra, lyra where are you!” His voice rang out through the spring as he searched for her dipping his head below the water but not being able to see anything. He saw struggling underneath the water by the displacement of water but could not get close enough to get to her. He felt useless and terrified that something was beneath the water they could not see.
When she surfaced he padded towards her quickly trying to splice through the water to reach her as she gasped for breath..”Lyra! What happened? Get out of the water..!” He watched as even though he was close to her, the creature came up and took another bite of her. He pushed himself under water and tried to use claws and horns to stab at that which he could not see entirely clearly. Lyra was doing a job of defending herself, but her blood tainted the water and evidenced the fight and her injuries.
He tried to surface in enough time to put her against his body and get her out of the water before her blood attracted any more of those things…but after throwing the creature around in the water and using her horns to defend herself he saw she was exhausted and the current began to pull her from him…”NOOOO!” He screamed and felt his body go slack..he would ride the current behind her to save her.
As he rode the current he noticed she had attached herself to something and was being drug, by the few glimpses of red flesh he saw, it was the same creature she had just killed, but its bulk was carrying her even further down stream. He straightened his body and pushed himself into a near laying down position, surfing through the current to the front side of the serpent and pushed his body into a half laying position to see where her claw was connected as water rushed over them both. He reached his paws down and began to claw at the serpent’s flesh until enough blood and skin had been detached to retrieve Lyra’s claw. Once the bulk of the serpent was detached, they weren’t not going nearly as fast. Ahote put his teeth to Lyra’s neck and held on tight. Because she was a Yagi as well she was not light, but Ahote had no expended all his energy fighting the creature. Because she had bled, it had gained the creature’s attention and so Ahote could not seem to pull the attention away. He drug her by her scruff to the bank beside the river. As soon as they reached solid land he dropped her, and shook himself off. He spoke the entire time they disengaged from the water, “Lyra? Lyra I am sorry, I wanted to save you….Lyra…You did good fighting against that thing…we should have never gone into the water..” He blamed himself for her injuries, he was the male and he should have been able to protect her. He closed his eyes and thought of what he could do.
Looking down at her ankle and its torn skin and the mess of her flank his head tipped back and without thought he howled out through the canyon, “Healer, we need a healer, a pack mate is injured…” He howled until his throat rang with soreness, but he dared not get close to the water even for a sip of the cool, refreshing water. Ahote may have been many things but he was not a healer, and did not know the first thing that one should do to help. All he could do was lean down and lick around her wounds, at least until help came, and hopefully soon!
((Gypsy, Rhia or Toril might be good to arrive in this thread now. We need someone who can heal with herbs or a power...thanks ahead of time..:}))

[/b][/color] It was obvious that she was lieing for the gashes on her flank and ankle were deep and she had lost a lot of blood, and her eyes showing pain with even the slightest movement, she had hit her head against the rocks somewhere along he battle and now it was pounding making her feel like she was spinning. She made an attempt to get up but her legs started to shake and she collapsed onto the ground again. She gave out a sigh, she hated being injured and would not like to admit that she was seriously hurt, many would think she was stupid in this way, maybe she was, but Lyra knew that these wounds would become infected and get worse if not treated by a healer. So she let Ahote continue to call out but she could hear the dryness in his throat, maybe it would be easier for him to go find someone rather than howl his heart off, it would be quicker and easier that way. "Ahote you will kill youre throat and lungs by howling forever like that, I'm fine really or well enough to have you leave me here and search for someone, it would be quicker and easier that way." she gave him a nod and laid her head back down her wet and bloody fur not even close to drying and soaking the ground around her, the sand beneath her felt like quicksand and she made an attempt to get away from it but managed only a few inches before collapsing again, cursing silently because of her disability. branwen;
She had done her job, patrolled the borders, even tried her hand at hunting. They had turned out un-eventful, not a wolf in sight on the borders. And she had caught only a bird, which she had brought back to the pack stash before deciding to head to the Eas Spring. She wanted to try out her new power, that she had found out she had a few days ago. She was still rather bad at it, she could only heal small things. Or stop bleeding for a few moments. Luckily she knew a few things about herbs too, so if her powers failed her, she could always use them.
But, it seemed like she wouldn't be able to practice her powers today. No, she would have to use them. Because she had walked into a two Yagi's; one severely bleeding and the other howling his head off for help. She balked for a moment, eyes wide and unsure of what to do. But than she ran forward, paws slipping on the pebbles and rocks. Than collapsed next to the bleeding Yagi. She took a moment to search for her new-found power. But once she had it, she focused it on the Yagi's wounds, as well as trying to duely stop the bleeding for a moment. She managed to stop some of the bleeding on the major wound. As well as close one of the small wounds. She frantically threw a few words of light at the other Yagi. Struggling with doing so, mainly because she was so much of a novice at healing, and she couldn't spell and heal at the same time. It took alot out of her. "You, get herbs, green, smelly, go!" The words flickered a bit, than she shut them down completely. Focusing all of her power on trying to heal the female.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,500,true] | [atrb=background,http://i.imm.io/62ae.jpeg]He may have been howling his head off, but he would have never forgave himself if he went in search of a healer and could not find one, and she lay there and bled to death. His heart was pounding in his chest, and even as raw as his throat was, he was not going to give up. The Cadre had to have at least one wolf who could heal, at least to stop the bleeding. If they could get that under control, Lyra’s body could naturally begin to heal. His eyes fell up to Lyra’s face as he gently licked around her wounds. “It is my fault, we should have never gone into the water, we could have explored somewhere else but I was hell bent on it, and now, you’re hurt…” His voice was near crackling, he was hurting for her, not only because she was beautiful, and a fellow Yagi but she was a pack member and he could not have saved her against something like that serpent. It was too squirmy and too fast.
“Lyra, your injuries are much worse than you are telling me…Where is that DAMN healer…” He was cursing left and right as he kept an eye on her ankle and flank. He shook his head as she told him to leave her…”You’re losing too much blood Lyra..and not thinking clearly, I can’t leave you..if something happened to you while I spent time running all over Cadre territory I…I will never forgive myself…The canyon will echo my call..someone will COME!” He pushed her down as she tried to escape, “No Lyra, its better that you lay right there, moving will just cause more blood to come to the surface and at least the sand is cushioning you now. Just try to relax..”
He did not have too long to reside and watch over her before he smelled someone else. The wolf smelled like their pack and she must have heard his call. He watched as she stumbled over to them, and eventually fell. If she couldn’t keep her balance how could she possibly heal his friend? His eyes couldn’t or wouldn’t mask his disbelief in her as she stood over Lyra. “Please..tell me you can heal her?” He noticed as she was concentrating that the blood pouring from Lyra’s wounds was not quite as bad as it was before and he tipped his head back, his eyes closing with a silent prayer of thanks. Even if she could slow the bleeding Lyra had a chance.
Soon she was telling him to get her…herbs..? He questioned only for a moment before he sprang off along the bank in search of these green, smelly herbs. His nose smelled out several small patches of greenery, hiding in the shade of brush. He stopped at every brush, getting several piles of herbs, running them back as fast as he could. He didn’t necessarily know herbs, but they all smelled pretty bad in his opinion. He put like smelling herbs together, based on appearance and smell. Within a few long moments, which seemed like hours he stopped, his shoulders hunching with his panting, and his legs shaking with the exhaustion of paddling water, dragging Lyra, and then herb hunting. But his pride kept him on his feet.
“What else does she need? Will she be okay?” His questions were fired off one after another, he knew that while this new pack member could heal, her injuries were not miraculously healing themselves into closing completely, and he was fearful Lyra would be permanently injured, scarred, or incapable. He stepped up close to her head and nuzzled into her neck. “I will do anything to help you Lyra, you have to stick around, who else will torture Lyta with me..” The small piece of off color humor was intended to bring her fire personality back to the surface, his eyes tried to search hers while they were open, for any signs of the pain lessening, even if it was minute.

branwen;
Branwen had thrown all of her energy into trying to close the female's wound's and halt the bleeding. She barely even acknowledged the words the two exchanged, though she did notice the herbs. If she mushed those two together, and used that one's juice to clean the blood off. Than compacted that onto the mushed ones...she should be fine. Or at least, as fine as Bran could make her.
She momentary stopped her healing, and grabbed for the herbs. Mushing up the one with the multiple leaves that smelled the most, and spreading it over the small wounds. Than taking the wide leaved one and squeezing it, letting the juice run over the big wound. It would sting, but it would clean it out and provide some protection against infection. After doing that, she mushed and layed the other herbs on the wound's, than put another burst of her healing power in. She closed a few more wounds, and stopped the bleeding on most. Helped with the herbs, it was all she could do for now.
Stepping back, she glared at the male Yagi. Spelling out her thoughts. "What happened to her to get her to be like...this!" She made a few gestures. "Wheres Rhiannon? You called her too right? We need to move her to somewhere cool. A cave, yes. But we need help."

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,500,true] | [atrb=background,http://i.imm.io/62ae.jpeg]He spoke gently to the female laying on the ground before him, beginning to receive help with her wounds. “Lyra you need to do nothing. I know I don’t need to be re-payed for helping to save you!” He was full of passion in his speech to her, Lyra was one of the few members of the pack who he was close to in species and thought processes. She had stood with him against Lyta and he enjoyed her company, to have it end like this, or to have her be hurt was beyond something he was going to accept. His eyes frantically went to the other wolf, watching everything she did.
He watched as she mushed this one with that one and started placing them on top of Lyra, and he could not help but to feel slightly helpless. What skills did he have that he could help her? He knew nothing of herbal healing or what she was doing and so sat there looking like what he was, a big, stupid male trying to be brave. His eyes went to her wounds and watched as they slowly before his eyes began to stop bleeding, and a sudden consternation filled him up. She would be okay, and the relief in his eyes was more than evident.
He watched as the other female glared at him, and his eyes cooled down to ice as he glared right back. “If you dare to think that I did this, or allowed this, then you should have just kept on walking. The sheer accusation in your eyes disgusts me.” His lips curled back over his mouth into a menacing snarl of dominance as he pushed himself into a standing position over Lyra. “I would say that I am grateful for your knowledge, and your help, and I still am for her sake..’ gesturing with his head to Lyra. “But otherwise…”
He stopped his speech and simply shook his head, he couldn’t help it if the other female was a twit behind her amazing abilities. “I don’t know where Rhiannon is, if she heard my howling and has not come, perhaps she cannot. I am sure she will arrive or can be found and informed. Right now Lyra needs rest. I can either go find her, or better yet you can go find her.” His cool eyes stared at the other female, his body simply standing there was intimidating.
He wanted his friend to be okay and while he was relieved and grateful she was not bleeding, and could rest, he would move her himself if he had to. He may have been pissy but he had good reason. His voice lowered, “We went into the spring to go swimming and clean ourselves off. Some large, red serpent dragged her under and bit her, trying to kill her. I couldn’t swim fast enough to save her…” Admitting it out loud nearly killed him and choked the life out of his throat.
“I have howled and howled. We can try to move her if you want then one of us can go find Rhiannon if she does not arrive. How do you intend to move her?” Since she was the healer between them he would still defer to her when it came to Lyra. When it came to anything else, he didn’t think he would tolerate anything from his female, but he made enemies wherever he went he supposed. For every friend they say you make three enemies. Nothing unusual in the world of Ahote…

"Stupid suicidal oversized rodent," she growled, ignoring the fact that jackalopes were not rodents. To Rhiannon, it didn't matter right now. Her lunch had just launched itself carelessly off the side and would now be feeding the damned griffins today. She snarled, swiping at the side of the rock with her paw. Her claws left a nice notch in the soft canyon top. Rolling her eyes she began to move away from the ledge. She had been hunting before her food pulled that nasty trick. Now it was either day old jackalope or repeat the process. Grumbling at the thought of both, she took a moment to decide what would be the lesser of two evils.
"Bugger it, why," she hissed, loping towards the brush, her irritation showing on both her face and in her body language. She was pissed beyond all reason and so when she saw the first sign of movement, she took off, bounding after the quail which had made the mistake of moving so soon after her outburst. The anger propelled her faster and she grasped the bird on his jaws, twisting and ended its life. She ripped it apart, not caring to be clean about it. Feathers and innards splayed everywhere, and she chewed on the meat the bird provided - it was greasy but it was something. It was while she ate that a howl rang out. It called for her but she just growled, burying her snout in the quail further. They could wait. On any other day Rhiannon would have been up and running towards the source but today... today she just wanted her god damn lunch. Selfish, yes, but Rhia was no saint. The howls kept going and she finally snarled, throwing the half devoured bird aside and began plodding towards the canyon.
"I'm coming, I'm coming, hold your griffins," she hissed, but made no motion to howl back and let them know she was coming. She was covered in feathers and blood, but made no motion to get them off as she hopped down the stairs before her, growling to herself about this or that. Her petty complaints grew stupider as she came towards the spring where the howl had came from. She slid behind the waterfall, seeing a seen just about as bloody as her own body. Oops. She probably should have came sooner. Her eyes shifting slightly, she glanced at the yagi, Lyra she knew, and then Ahote. Branwen was already there, the only healer she really knew they had.
"What the hell happened?" she growled, moving towards Lyra, and walking around her. "It looks like you've been to hell and back," she growled a bit, looking between the two for explanation. "Bran, can you heal her?" She licked the blood from her maw, cleaning herself off slightly, before beginning to look around Lyra. Branwen seemed to have closed the majority of the wounds - the blood was just from before. She seemed to have lost a lot though, and even though she was healed and smelled heavily of herbs, she needed rest and food.

branwen;
She was busy putting a few finishing touches on her work. A extra leaf there to stop some bleeding, and a poultice on a spot she had missed here. Just the products of double checking her healing job. She was so engrossed into her work, that and already half drained with the effort of healing up Lyra as much as she had, that she barley heard the males words. She wouldn't have had time to reply to them either, as Rhiannon barreled onto the scene. Finally their leader had came, perhaps the male was at least good at one thing. Howling his head off and getting attention.
Frowning at the male, she replied to his words. "I'm not blaming you for any of this. I'm sorry it happened and have tired my best to heal her. She'll make it. And it look's like you won't have to go find Rhiannon after all." Turning her gaze from the Yagi to Rhia, she glanced at her and to Lyra. "I've tried my best. She'll make it, but will most likely be sore for a few weeks." She frowned. "And have a slight limp for the rest of her life." She glanced at the male, automatically assuming that he was her mate. And wondered if he would ever be able to see his hearts pair in the same light again.

There was no doubt he was grateful for the healer but the whole situation in general had put him in a black mood of doom, and he needed to remove himself before he snapped at the wrong person. It would seem as though he might get the opportunity but not before another bout of annoyances. The larger male’s coat still had not dried completely despite the hot sun which was now beginning to wane slightly in the late afternoon. He had not known when or if Rhia would actually show up or heard his call but it was not long before he saw her form make an appearance and there she was.
When Rhia asked what had happened he had to physically try to stop from rolling his eyes. He had just told the little healer, and she couldn’t have relayed it to their alphess? It was apparent that though she had healing her intellectual skills were lacking. Here he was again going to have to go through the whole story to Rhia. His audible snort of disgust was pointed in the healer’s general direction as he looked down at Lyra. He listened to what she told Rhia and his lip curled in angrily…A limp the rest of her life? How would she compete in the tournament? How would she get around the Cadre territory? So much of it was rocks and crevices and stairs to climb.
In that moment the knife twisted, he was responsible for this. Whether he liked it or not, the female had defended her life bravely but what had he done. Nothing. What could he have done? Everything. Perhaps nothing in reality but in his mind he carried a weight of guilt. He had no feelings for Lyra beyond packman ship and friendship but he still worried over how she would live the rest of her life like this. He sighed and his shoulders slumped, even his horns seemed lower than normal as he turned his attention to Rhia, well might as well get it over with.
“We had been in the water, trying to clean up and wash off my encounter with Lyta when some red serpent grabbed her and pulled her under. She tried to fight and stab the creature but it kept pulling her and biting her, intending to eat her apparently. I could not swim fast enough to get close to her and try to defend her. Once she gave the serpent a final stab, it died, but got tangled around her, and dragged her down and through the water until we both ended up here…I managed to disentangle her further down from the spring but, she had already lost so much blood. Fearing to leave her for predators, I stayed and howled until I could get a healer here…and eventually get you here..”
The story over he stared at Rhia, waiting for any comments. He would accept any chastising she may have for him, but when he had felt sufficient time had passed he stared at the healer. “All things considered I doubt either of you could move her..and even I cannot carry her up the stairs to the dens…” He was at a loss of what to do, he couldn’t leave her there, she needed shade, but couldn’t be too far from the water…Finally he had a temporary solution. He stepped up behind Lyra’s curled back and pressed his horns gently underneath her. It put his nose practically to the ground, but he managed to lift her slightly from the ground, without breaking open any wounds.
The harsh smell of herbs and blood entered his nose but he slowly, ever so slowly pulled the injured female to a rock outcropping not too far from the river. When he had placed her gently within the shade, he caringly pulled his horns out from underneath the female and let her lay there to rest. Trotting back to the healer, and Rhia he said, “She will have to stay there until she is well enough to get up the stairs..or until another group of members can come and move her more sufficiently back to the dens. I intend to crawl up there now to rest..” It may have made him look like an ass but he was not obligated to stay with the male. Quite the contrary the healer female was the one would have either have to stay with her or find members who would carry her up. He was genuinely exhausted, guilty, and now pissy. He knew it was smartest to remove himself from the situation.
Turning to the healer he said, “Thank you for doing your best for her. I am sure she is strong enough to recover into semi normalcy..” When he looked at Rhia he simply slowly nodded his head. His voice was cracking due to all the howling, his fur practically drooped off his frame, and his muscles ached with every step. But he was too engrossed in his pride and nasty mood to accept any help. Slowly, the large figure made his own way back to his den.
[[Simply decided to pull Ahote out, there isn’t much he can do at this point any way. ]]
