He shook his dusty pelt and sneezed, pollen drifting into the musty air. His umber eyes scanned the horizon, he yawned in boredom and stretched. When Crow had finally stood he noticed he wasn't alone...
"Whose there?!" the Yagi's heartbeat began to race, Crow's body tensed up. Whoever they were, they were, they would good. He couldn't see or hear anybody, it was just pure instinct.
He paced in a circle, trying to keep his options open. It could be Tor or Bri... but he doubted that. He couldn't really make out their scent but he knew one thing. They were a complete stranger to him. And with them not approaching him directly could mean something bad was about to happen.[/scrolly]

Tsunami moved through the long grasses at a leisurely pace. The prairie was hot and oddly quiet. Only the thud of his paws and the swishing grass disturbed the stillness. He found the air to be oppressively humid and the lack of a breeze made it worse. He paused for a moment to let out a sneeze and then turned his horned head to look back. Golden eyes surveyed the vast prairie for any sign of another wolf. He had thought that Ebony was following behind him..But perhaps he was mistaken. If that was the case, Tsun would become very angry, very fast.
After a few seconds of waiting for the female to possibly catch up to him, Tsunami sighed, he didn’t have time to stand around and do nothing. He’d track her down later, if she intended on eluding him. The black wolf continued onward until he reached the top of a small rise. Toward the bottom he spotted a moving figure which resembled a wolf. It couldn’t be Ebony; he could clearly see two large horns on its head.
Not one for stealth, the male charged down the hill toward the lone wolf. Anything that was within Tsunami’s eyesight was rightfully his to claim and control. Unfortunately for Crow, Tsunami had set his sights on him. By the time Tsunami had reached the yagi, he discovered that the stranger moved frantically. ‘The fool..’ Tsunami thought with a shake of his head. It seemed Crow had no idea that the wolf he sensed lurked right behind him.
Then Crow turned around, now Tsunami stood tall and unabashed. His fangs glimmered in the fierce sun. So far he didn’t consider this male a threat; he seemed more scared than dangerous. However, he would remain on his guard. “I’m here.” He said, eyeing Crow suspiciously, “Name’s Tsunami. Who are you?”

He noted to himself.. and fierce... was he like him too with those horns atop his ash pelt, no with that long lashing ridged tail... he'd say he was another hybrid. But he was very different from Bri. This wolf lacked the enormous feathery wings. Definitely a hybrid of himself and something else and... maybe Cael?!
Crow stood his ground. He wanted to mentally slap himself, he probably looked like a fool to the other wolf. I mean, this Tsunami guy seemed to be radiating constant anger, or aggressiveness. It was all over his face. Whatever he was angry about, The Young Yagi was sure he had nothing to do with it, I mean... he had never even met this other loner before.
"I... I am Crow, a loner. What is your business sneaking up on me like that?" Ever muscle in his body was tensing up in pure fear, adrenaline rushing thick through his own pelt. The other Lupine clearly had his own guard up as well so Crow was careful knowing he was treading on thin ice already. [/scrolly]

Tsunami marched closer to the wolf, his stance advertising his superiority. He stood over the Yagi, his long tail thrashing back and forth. The other loner didn’t seem to be dangerous at all..Sure the horns looked impressive, but Tsunami had his own horns, and he doubted Crow had much experience fighting.
A throaty laugh burst from the male’s jaws. He could practically smell the fear coming off this fellow, it was both pathetic and comforting to Tsunami; that his appearance could draw out such terror from strangers.
“Sneaking?” He asked, still laughing, “Is that what you call coming straight at you without even trying to conceal myself?” His eyes mocked the other wolf, but his body relaxed. “My business is whatever the hell I decide it is, and what is yours?” His laughter died down as he waited for an answer from Crow.

I was minding my own business. This is not pack land so I figured it was a good place to rest." Crow stared at the other lupine's razor sharp and glistening horns. He must have great practice using them...
"And besides, you caught me off guard." The smaller Yagi's ears tilted back as his mouth formed a snarl, his fairly large fangs bared in the defense. Crow knew he wasn't much of a fighter but he had strong enough weapons if he had to use them.[/scrolly]

The second the Yagi unveiled his fangs, Tsunami’s entire demeanor changed. His hackles raised as he snarled back at Crow. If the other male hadn’t taken up an aggressive stance, Tsun probably wouldn’t have started a conflict, however now that one had begun, he intended on finishing it. In truth, Tsunami had been itching for a fight; he would take full advantage of this opportunity.
“You don’t want to get into a brawl with me, punk.” He growled between clenched teeth. There was no doubt in his mind that if it came down to a physical confrontation, he would end up victorious. Tsunami rushed toward Crow, his head lowered so that his horns would hopefully crash into the other’s ribcage.

Crow felt himself lurch forward in pain, what was this feeling? He had never been hit with another's horns before. When the Yagi had finally put two and two together he felt his breathing hitch, something was not right with his chest now.
"Damn you! I will repay you the favor!" Completely blind to physical violence now he charged back at the other lupine. A new passionate fire burning in his umber eyes. Fangs bared and Horns begging for action. The blood of purebred Yagi now coursing through his veins. This wasn't who he remembered being.
I have a calm and collected optimistic disposition... what's wrong with me, it's like my blood is on fire and I can't control myself... Crow was scared. He didn't want to hurt the other wolf honestly but the true nature of all lupine controlled his body now. Adrenaline pumping and fueling his want to live took a hold of him.[/scrolly]

Tsunami readied himself for the blow, tightening his muscles and eyeing the other male. He snarled, pushing himself forward to meet the oncoming Yagi. Their horns crashed together and a loud crack reverberated in the empty prairie. The hybrid dug his paws into the dirt, fighting back against the force of his opponent. He pushed with all the muscle strength in his neck and smirked confidently at Crow. Their eyes were close enough so that the other canine had little chance to avoid the menacing glare of the hybrid.
“That all you got?!” Tsunami taunted him before throwing his head to the side, effectively dislodging their horns. He jumped back then came at Crow with his mouth searching for flesh. His body curved and his jaws were flying toward the side of the Yagi’s throat. Tsunami was having a grand old time, not really caring what the outcome of this encounter would be.

Crow sidestepped backwards in instinct quickly. It was amazing what you could do when the pressure was on it and your life depended on it. For his first fight he felt he was doing pretty well. He was able to dodge the other wolf that came at him. But for how much longer could he do that? The Yagi choked and staggered after his sudden movements, what was this red stuff... could this be?
"Ahhhh!" The female Yagi cried out, her umber eyes filled with sorrow as the rest of her fallen comrades were surrounding her, the air smelled of blood and death. The little pup Crow whimpered and hiccuped through sobs.
The other pack of wolves had smirks plastered on all their faces. His mother told him to run, never look back. They figured the young Yagi wouldn't last long in the outside world on his own anyways. But what they had not known that his mother knew with all her heart, Dag was out there. He would be on his way home from hunting. Hopefully then it's not too late for her son.
So little Crow ran... and kept running, not knowing where or why after a day or too.
He came back down to reality and spaced out, frozen in place. His whole body was shaken as he felt a pang of sudden sorrow coursing through his veins. Tears came to his eyes as he tried to keep from showing weakness to the other wolf. But at this point, he was starting not to care.[/scrolly]

Now was his chance! Tsunami ran at full speed toward Crow, a loud roar exploding from his chest. He had no idea what caused the other male to freeze in place, but that was hardly a concern. All that mattered was a victory over this yagi, and a chance to prove his dominance. The hybrid intended to use his strength to force Crow onto his back, and then depending on his opponent’s reaction..Let him up or kill him. As much as Tsunami would enjoy killing this adversary, if Crow conceded defeat then the black wolf would not harm him.

[scrolly:h(370),w(405),sy] Faye strolled along the hot and humid prairie, breathing in the smells of summer. Her sleek, tall white form swiftly passed through the long, swaying grasses, and the blue marking on her legs were hidden from view by the long grass. If not for her bright yellow eyes, she could be easily mistaken for a Lumen, even if she was a Lupuse. Faye was in a good mood: She'd just been proclaimed the new advisor for the Philia Alliance, and she was looking forward to doing her best to help her pack.
Suddenly, as she climbed a small hill, she noticed two wolves fighting. Her eyes narrowed as she watched them for a moment: One appeared to be a Yagi, and the other some sort of a hybrid, perhaps Yagi and a Cael? Interesting.... she thought to herself. Her good mood vanished to be replaced by a slight annoyance: The hybrid seemed to be beating the pulp out of the younger looking Yagi, and might even kill him soon if no one intervened. The wise she-wolf sighed to herself, and began to approach them, not sneaking up, but coming up directly.
The old Faye might have simply let it be and walked away, but the new Faye was even wiser, and since she was an advisor now, it was her duty to help her own pack as well as others. She stopped, standing tall and proud, but not aggressive: The lightning Lupuse wasn't afraid, she knew she could defend herself if need be. Suddenly she saw the unknown hybrid run full speed towards the frozen Yagi, and she knew she couldn't let that happen: It would be a fatal blow if the younger Yagi didn't move. "Stop!" she exclaimed, but doubted any of them heard her since the hybrid was roaring too loud.
Faye hated to have to intervene this way, and she didn't want to hurt either wolf, but there was no other way. Gathering her energy, she let the lightning sizzle and crack in the air as storm clouds appeared overhead. Harnessing the energy, her body was covered with bolts of electricity as Faye jumped in front of the other Yagi, hoping to protect him. She sincerely wished that her stunning rays of electricity would hold the other wolf off, but she also knew that it would still hurt. Faye tensed, and waited. [/scrolly]

He didn't expect another wolf to intervene. Boy was Crow glad that this she wolf came along though, who was she? He was grateful that she had saved him from a possible utter defeat and death even. He panted and cringed in pain.
Crow couldn't hold himself up anymore, the pain was becoming unbearable. So he collapsed. Heaving he took deep breaths to try and sooth his aching chest, though it only seemed to make it worse. He felt helpless for once in his life, unable to protect himself. Why was she helping him? His umber eyes wandered to her and then to the angered Tsunami that towered near them.
He struggled to stand, feeling his body heavier than usual. "I-it's alright... really... I'm fine." he whimpered as he fell back over. "Okay..." he sighed "...maybe not." Crow peered up at the she wolf and whispered under his breath. "Thanks."[/scrolly]
