Braelyn wasn't at all affected by the cold wind that blustered against her silver toned scales. Sure, she was meant more for water than anything. Snow was not her element, but it was her element in a way. It was simply frozen over. Her icy colored eyes sure fit into the surrounding area, seeing as everything was void of life or threatened death to anyone who dared to come onto the lands. She was currently climbing to the peaks of the mountain range, a place where no one really even dared to go. It was dangerous, with the loose rocks and snow and ice all around, that was a positive thing the Gaian could see for herself.
She walked along a cold stone path with her compact, webbed toes, keeping herself steady as she remained pressed to the wall beside her. She might be one crazy bitch, but she certainly didn't want to die before she did a few things for herself. Such as kill someone on purpose, as she constantly planned to do and had done many times. She had often made deaths seem like an accident or like someone else had done it. In reality, she was the one who had killed the person, she just made it look like someone else did just so she could remain out of the line of fire. She was a rather perfect assassin, especially with the way she thought about things. Her way of thinking was twisted, and she definitely loved it.
Braelyn soon realized she reached the snowy top and pushed her way through the thick snow to a rock that was awaiting in front of her. She pulled herself from the snow and hauled her heavy body onto the rock, which left her with only one thing to do: gaze out upon the beauty of what the Great Spirit had created. She was crazy and mean, but she even respected and believed in the Great Spirit. He was capable of many things, good and bad. She simply did not want to be in the line of fire or the subject of fire of such an entity. The Great Spirit was more than likely the one single thing that the old girl respected in her life. When it came to her, respect was a hard thing to get from her.

Morningstar made her way carefully and gracefully up the path that lead to the top of Maximus Peak. She'd heard the views around here were breathtaking and beautiful, and she lived nearby. So why not go? She was a strong, able-boded Sennyo and knew her way around the woods.
But these weren't woods, and she soon found the answer to 'why not.' It was harshly cold this high up in the mountains. She was chilly, and not built for extreme weather. None the less, she stuck to her path to get to the very tippy top of the mountain.
And as she reached the top, she realized she was not alone. Morningstar could pick out the shape of another wolf! It had scales, like a fish. Perhaps a Cael? Or a Myou. Whatever the case, Morningstar saw it as an opportunity. But she also knew to beware of any danger that this wolf might hold.
She padded closer, not in an unfriendly way, but not in an overbearing way either. Simply cautious. "Hello. Did you come for the view?"

Sky stood on a ledge above two wolves. The wind whipped her white wings around as if she was a bizarre bird that could not control her wings. Sky was not worried about being spotted by either of the wolves. She was in snow, which, next to green grass and lost of trees, was her favorite habitat. The reason it was her second favorite habitat is because she was white and gray. She was perfectly camouflaged when she was in snow. Plus, she could not be mattered with trivial matters like being spotted and possibly killed. No, she was wondering how she could find out what these wolves were doing. Was there a pack here? Could she join? Who are this wolves? She was going to eavesdrop. It was at that moment, Sky slipped and her claws scrabbled on snow and she fell down, off her ledge and into a ditch of snow right behind the other wolves. Sky froze, not from the cold, but from the fact she was right behind a little Sennyo. A bit farther off was a Cael by the looks of it. Sky's mind began working furiously and she thought of the possible ways to escape. She could pretend she was friendly, and then push them off the cliff. Or, she could pretend to be friendly and then make a run for it. Well, a 'run' in Sky's case was actually flying away, which was how she had got here. After she defeated the black wolf. Sky shook her head. No time for that, she had to plan her escape.

Braelyn was able to smell the female sennyo before she could see her, which was no issue in the matter of herself. She was also aware of the Keiyou's presence before the other one had arrived. Her sense of smell was extraordinary, as well as her instincts. She knew they were there before they knew she was there. It was a basic thing she had learned to do when she was young, and she had learned it because she had been told she needed to know others were there before they knew she was there. It was in the basics of her training, and she had perfected it with ease. At the moment, however, she was not worried about her former training at all. The nine year old Gaian could only worry about one thing at that time. There was only one thing on her mind and she cared not about anything else. She wondered what it was she was to do with the two females in her presence.
She listened as the Keiyou fell from her hiding place into the snow behind the Sennyo. Of course, the female was probably too young or too untrained to have made a mistake like that. If she were just alone with the Sennyo, then she might have attacked, but there were two females there now. She wondered what it was that she could do for them, if anything at all. Slowly, the Gaian turned around in order to answer the Sennyo's question. "Yes, I am here for the view. I am also homeless, another reason to venture this far out." Her voice was as cold and monotonous as it had always been, portraying nothing of the emotions she felt on the inside.
Braelyn looked at the Keiyou girl. "There is no need to hide, my dear. I am usually the one to kill others, but today I am in no mood. I will not harm either of you, I will simply attempt to enjoy your presence." She wondered if she had been wrong to think the way she had all of her years. In her entire life, it had not mattered to her what species another wolf was. It had always been her job to kill them and dispose of them. She would even have to kill an innocent wolf at some points and make it look like someone else had done it. If someone just wanted the wolf dead, then she would need to make it look like an accident so that she would stay out of the lime light should anyone discover she had been the one to do it. However, now was not the time nor the place to be thinking or doing such things.

Morningstar smelled the wolf behind her, and her ears twitched as she heard the female creeping along. She turned her head slightly. The Keiyou was entirely too close to the edge. "You're going to fall if-" She was cut off as the Keiyou, indeed, fell. It landed right behind her. She looked frightened.
Noting the cael's words, Mornings turned bent her head towards the white little Keiyou. "Are you alright?" She asked kindly. Morningstar was a kind creature by nature. She didn't want to harm or frighten anyone. Although, she didn't really agree with the cael's way of life. "My name's Morningstar, and this is..." She looked back again at the Cael.
"Excuse me, miss, would you please tell me your name?" Morningstar politely asked, before looking back at the Keiyou and sniffing at her, with a bit of concern. "You don't smell that hurt to me. Do you feel any pain?"

Sky twitched with nervousness at the wolf with scales words. 'Usually the one to kill others'? Was her statement supposed to make Sky feel better? But wait, the Sennyo who called herself Morningstar had asked her a question. It would be rude to ignore it. Sky stood up shakily, and opened her mouth to speak. "I'm fine, and no, I don't feel any pain. Thanks for asking though." Sky shuffled closer to the edge of the cliff. Sky had an idea about what she was going to do this morning, and it did not involve being killed. She spread her wings out wide, and then said quietly "Sorry to intrude on your conversation, if you don't uh, have anything else to um, talk about, then I uh, guess I'll be going... Wait! To you belong to a pack? I really want to join one!" Sky wanted desperately to join a pack and find a mate. She was hoping that there might be someone who would take her in, and release her from the horrible memories that held her down like chains. "So, do you know of a pack that welcomes all?" She said, her question lingering in the air, one hopeful thought against an army of bad memories.
